Hey guys! How are ya? It's been a really LOONG time since I last updated...I also was thinking of taking down the story, but I decided to finish it. This chapter is a promise I made to a new friend here : XoThatCrazyChickoX , who hasn't given up on the story and encouraged me not to too. Chapter twenty: Trapped in our worst nightmares Part 2
Previously on the Legacy of the Dragon
"Just remember I taught you everything you know."
"Then what are you still waiting for? An invitation? Or are you just too afraid to fight against your grandchild?"
"Okay you asked for it little girl!" With that the battle had begun.
At the mansion
"I think everything is ready." Greg said as he and Rudy were in one of the hidden rooms of the mansion.
"I think so too. I will go get the others. "Rudy said as he put the blade on the ground and left the room.
Greg grabbed the blade and smiled. It held many memories for him. Though most of them weren't good he still doesn't regret a thing. He looked at the sword remembering how he first showed it to his grand kids.
Flashback
"Wow grandpa these swords are amazing!" A five year old boy said looking at every single sword on the wall. "Especially that one!" Jack said while pointing at the sword. He was attracted to one which a symbol of a dragon on it. Greg smiled and reached up to grab it. He took the sword and carefully showed it to Jack.
The little boy was smiling as he took it in his hold, but dropped it due to its weight. He tried to lift it, but couldn't. He tried and tried, refusing his grandpa's help. After a few minutes his sister Jessica came in twirling a bow staff that she had been practicing all this time. Her eyes widened when she saw her brother with the sword and immediately dropped the bow staff.
"Jack! What are you doing?!" She exclaimed taking the sword from him and glaring at her grandpa. "What? He wanted it."He defended which made her roll her eyes and place the sword where it belonged.
End of flashback
"Master?" Greg snapped out of his trance and opened his eyes to see Milton looking over a katana sword. Greg smiled and grabbed the katana.
"Do you like it?"
"Yes, Sensei, it looks really powerful."
"Indeed it is. A dear old friend of mine gave it to me, before he passed away. You know that
Katana are traditionally made Japanese swords that were used by the samurai."
"So what you are saying is that he was a samurai?"
"He was and he was my greatest rival. Even I couldn't stand a chance against him."
"What? Really Sensei? But how? You are a martial arts master!"
"I told you he was the best samurai in Japan. Nobody had the courage to challenge him. Not even I."
"Not even you?" Milton asked shocked.
"Yes it was when I first came to Japan and started my training. I met him during my training in the mountains and our rivalry and friendship. But that is a story for another time I will tell you. Right now we have to deal with other things. The others are still trapped in their nightmares."
"You are right, Sensei, I got carried away. But how are we going to get inside their nightmares?" Asked Milton as he tied his blue belt.
"Don't worry about that and leave it to me. By the way where are Rudy and the others? He should have been back by now." Greg said confused.
"I don't know Sensei, should I-"Milton was cut off by Rudy who came in running with a worried looking Grace and Eddie behind her.
"We can't find Jerry! " Rudy exclaimed as he panted.
"What? Wasn't he with you Grace?" Milton asked.
"He was this morning, but then he said something about missing home and I haven't seen him since." She explained to them.
"Last I saw him was when he was going to his room." Eddie said.
"Okay Milton, Grace and Eddie go find him while Rudy and I check something else."
"Right! " They exclaimed and left.
With G.E.M (Grace, Eddie, Milton)
The three of them were running all over the house and checking every room. Most of the rooms were for guests, excluding the ballroom and training rooms.
"This is hopeless! I feel like we are running in circles." Eddie said as he sat on the ground leaning against the wall.
"Me too, I mean we checked all the places. " Milton sighed.
"No! We have to keep looking! There must be something we are missing. "Grace wondered.
"I don't know about you guys, but I need a little snack break." Eddie said getting up.
"Eddie this is-"Milton started, but was cut off from Grace.
"Eddie you're a genius! " She exclaimed and ran to the one place they forgot to check.
Milton and Eddie went after her, but Grace was faster than them. She was worried for Jerry ever since he came to Japan with Jack. She knows they are like brothers, but she couldn't help and worry every now and then. Even before they got together. She always liked Jerry. He may be goofy, silly, troublemaker, but that's what Grace liked about him.
"Grace!" She snapped out of her trance and saw that she was running towards a wall. When she came close to the wall, she jumped on it and did a backflip landing safely on her feet.
"That was awesome! " Eddie exclaimed while Milton sighed. "Are you okay Grace?"
Grace shook her head and said. "Yeah I'm fine…just thinking."
"Hey don't worry. Everything will be fine. Now let's go find Jerry besides we lost too much time."
"Yeah, you're right, thanks Milton." Grace smiled at him.
They started running again until they finally reached the kitchen. They heard some noises coming from the other side of the kitchen. They looked at each other and nodded.
"One"
"Two"
"Three" They jumped in battle mode only to see Jerry in his Gi eating everything out of the fridge.
"JERRY! " They all exclaimed. He jumped away from the fridge holding a bag of chips and started screaming something in Spanish.
Grace went up to him and punched him so hard, she sent him flying backwards making him hit one of the cabinets.
The guys looked at her in shock. She was like a second Kim.
Jerry looked afraid of his girlfriend,
"Let's go guys." Grace said as she walked out of the kitchen not even taking a glance at Jerry anymore. She couldn't believe it. She had been so stupid. She was so mad at him now that she let a tear escape her eye.
"Grace?" She felt a hand on her shoulder.
"Doesn't Jerry, just, don't? I don't want to talk about it now…"
"But Grace-"
"No Jerry!"
"Grace-"
"No!"
"Please-"
"I SAID NO!" She exclaimed frustrated and started walking away from him.
"I'M SCARED! " Jerry screamed which made her stop in her place.
"I'm scared okay? I'm freaking scared as hell!" She turned and faced him.
"I'm scared that we might not make it, I'm scared that we might save our friends, I'm scared that I might lose you…so go ahead be mad at me, hit me, kick me…do whatever you want, but the only thing I will make sure of is that you are safe." Jerry explained and walked away, leaving Grace with no words. She stood there in shock. Then Milton and Eddie came out of the kitchen.
"Are-"Milton started to say, but Grace wiped her tears and said "Let's go!" They nodded and left.
A few minutes later they reached the dojo and saw Greg, Rudy and Jerry seated on the mats.
Greg and Rudy saw that they were back and smiled. "Finally you guys came!" He motioned for them to sit beside them in the form of a circle. Grace sat next to Jerry, avoiding his stare.
"Now that we are all here, everyone put the necklace that is in front of you and close your eyes." He explained as he closed his eyes. "And now concentrate hard on your worst nightmares..."
The battle (in their nightmares)
Greg started off with taking out his sword and charging for an attack. He is a master in different styles of Martial arts.
Jessica on the other hand is very skilled in hand-to-hand combat. Greg started to train her at the age of four and she quickly caught on. She's good with weapons also, but feels better fighting unarmed.
As Greg came closer and closer to her, she stood still maintaining her focus waiting for the right moment to come. She closed her eyes and breathe in. 'One more' She thought, opening her eyes and dodging the attack with incredible speed. She swiftly made a turn thus hitting the sword towards the ground and using her free arm to punch him in the jaw.
He stumbled back in shock, gripping his jaw with one hand and using the other to grab his sword.
Jessica chuckled dryly. "You're losing your grip old man. You didn't think that I only trained when I came to visit did you? Because if you did…then you are in for a lot of surprises." She stated while getting into another fighting stance.
While she thought of a new technique to use Kim crossed her mind. Her eyes widen and she looked over to where she was. When she saw that Kim was still behind the tree, she sighed in relief and directed her gaze towards her grandfather, who was smiling. She frowned at the sight. 'Why is he smiling?'
Suddenly he pulled out another sword from his Gi and charged towards her again. Like the first attack she stayed calm and focused on his movements even if he was with two swords. She took a deep breath and started to run against him as well. She ran with full speed , but he passed her and she noticed that he was heading towards a different direction. Her eyes widen at the sight. 'KIM'
Greg finally got to Kim and raised both of his swords at her. "NO KIM!" Jessica shouted as she got closer to them. She ran with full speed and shield Kim right when he swung both swords at them.

Everything happened so fast for Jessica.
Blood started to drip from her sides. She coughed up a lot of blood thus letting her collapse on the ground. She continued to cough as blood dripped from her sides.
Greg was laughing heartlessly. "Now do you understand little girl? You can never defeat me. I am and always will be your master!" He kicked her in the stomach causing her to cough for blood and gripping her stomach.
She tried to stand up when she saw him near Kim, but all she did was struggle to keep her vision clear. Soon enough black spots started to appear and the pain was too much to take so she gave up thus letting her body hit the ground.
Greg smirked and looked at Kim. He was about to grab her when he saw sword flying at him. He jumped away and looked around, but didn't see the attacker.
A few seconds later three more swords were thrown at him. The first landed in front of him, the second behind and the third on his left.
"GET AWAY FROM THEM! "Milton charged with full speed against Greg, but couldn't even make a scratch on him. Greg jumped backwards and waited for them to come.
Milton and Master Greg along with Rudy stood there in fighting mode as each of them held a sword, except for Milton who was holding a bow staff.
Their jaws dropped in shook as they saw the exact replica of Greg facing them. Greg saw Jessica bleeding on the ground along with Kim and his eyes widened. Even if it's just a dream, it can turn out to be something really serious and the fact that he wasn't here to prevent it makes his angrier. Greg was glaring at his replica hard as he tightened the grip on his sword.
"Let's get him! " Milton exclaimed and was about to charge at evil Greg, when his master stopped him. "No Milton, this is my battle, I want you and Rudy to take Jessica and Kim and find the others. I will meet up with you when I finish this one." He spat out the last words with full hatred.
He looked at Rudy. "I'm counting on you to keep them safe."
"You have my word!" Rudy promised and grabbed Milton's arm. "Come on, Milton."
Milton looked one last time at Master Greg and nodded. With that Rudy carefully took Jessica in his arms as did Milton and they left, leaving Greg to fight his own battle.
"Well, well looks like there is no one to help you know." His replica laughed.
"Who are you? " Greg asked trying to keep his cool.
"It doesn't even matter…, but if you want to know that badly then you have to fight me, because when you lose, you will be stuck in here forever as will those brats." He laughed once again.
"I wouldn't be laughing if I were you."
With Jack and Olivia
"That sounds great let's, but first I think we have too much clothes on. Don't you think?" she asked kissing his jaw. Jack pulled her closer and soon her lips met his fist.
Olivia fell to the ground with a thud, but tried to get up again. "Jackie why did you hurt me?"
Jack groaned and closed his eyes.' This is going to be harder than I thought'
Of course it will be son, but try again; you have to snap her out of her trance
Easy for you to say
TRY AGAIN!
OKAY!
He opened his eyes and saw her coming at him. Her eyes were bright red and full of hatred.
Jack got in battle mode and prepared to fight, when he heard someone screaming behind him.
"JACK CATCH!" Milton shouted as he threw the bow staff towards Jack, who caught it perfectly. He finally figured it out and right when she came at him he moved out of the way and let Milton handle her.
Milton started to fight her while Jack went to where the banana was and did the only thing he thought would work. He lifted the bow staff and started hitting the banana, until he finally stabbed it. That's when a certain red light came off from the banana and vanished into thin air.
Finally

Jack sighed and turned around. He saw Olivia on the ground and Milton helping her.
He walked up to them and saw that Olivia's eyes were back to normal.
"Jack what happened? When did Milton come? Why does my head hurt?" Olivia asked as she tried getting up, but was too tired to.
"Doesn't worry I'll explain everything later, but now Milton do you know where the others are?" Jack asked while bending down and letting Olivia climb on his back.
"Yes and let me warn you just that, things are really bad. " Milton said as they started walking.
"Did something happen to Kim?"
"Did something happen to Jessica?" Jack and Olivia both asked in unison. He sighed then nodded.
"Well then what are we waiting for, let's go!" Jack exclaimed as he started to run.
"What? Oh hey wait for me Jack, you don't know where they are!" Milton exclaimed as he caught up to him. When Jack heard him he stopped and almost dropped Olivia.
"Oh yeah….um where are they again?" Milton only shook his head.
