This is a side-story to my fic TLOS Rise of the Night Walkers. Disclamer-I do not own Spyro it's owned by Activsion. Warnings contains character death, extreame fluff. Dragonic.

Spyro is outside Warfang sobbing heavily over the death of his brother/bestfriend Sparx and the gaurdians didn't seem to care,even his beloved mate Cynder wasn't sad. He felt completely alone.

*Flashback*

Spyro and his twin brother Dharak were trapped in the Catacombs surrounded by Malefor's Night Walkers and the two purple dragons were putting up a good fight against the creatures,but when one of them grabbed Sparx and threw the yellow dragonfly down and stepped on him killing the poor dragonfly. Spyro consumed by hate/rage transformed into Dark Spyro killing all the creatures in cold blood and Dharak was one to free him from the drak power and when they returned Cynder and the gaurdians acted like nothing happend.

Spyro continued to sob and didn't here the foot steps approach him sit beside him, "What's wrong Spyro a cold,dark voice said." Spyro knew it was his twin brother Dharak who's he's only known for three weeks and found out he and Dharak are sons of Malefor.

"Why do you even care" Spyro replied.

Dharak wraped his wing around Spyro pulling him close,Spyro is surprised at the sudden affection but doesn't pull away and Dharak finally replies "I care because the little guy was my friend and because your my brother the only family I have left."

Spyro finally anwserd "Dharak you've only known me for a few weeks and you are worried about me."

Dharak smiled and stood on hind legs wrapped his forepaws around the purple dragon pulling him into a warm,loving embrace. Spyro stlffend at first but wrapped his forepaws around Dharak in a tight hug back and Spyro bursted into tears letting out all his saddness,anger,hate everything Spyro felt was released in the arms the most unlikely yet much needed companion in he needed in his entire life.

Spyro finally stopped crying and looked up at Dharak's dark purple eyes and he saw comfort,friendship,love everything a loving brother would have Dharak had.

Dharak hugged Spyro a little tighter and said

"I know this is hard for you but it will be allright because you know in you heart that Sparx loved you and you loved him with every fiber of your being and that will always be in your heart and he would want you to be happy and move-on Spyro and just know that I will always be here for you no matter what."

Spyro is deeply touched no-one has ever comforted him like this and looks up at Dharak the dragon he's only known for weeks and both dragons wrapped their wings around each other forming a warm dragonic cocoon.

"I love you Dharak." Spyro softly said in the winged cocoon.

Dharak's cold heart filled with such happiness he lifted Spyro up and gave him an affectionate squeeze and gently nuzzled him and said "I love you too Spyro always and forever."

A few minutes passed and they finally break the hug smiling softly at eachother and Dharak says. "What do you say we head back inside."

Spyro nodded and followed Dharak back inside the city knowing that Dharak loved him and he loved Dharak and he was glad to have him as a brother.
