"Sebastian, show me to my room." Ciel's voice rang throughout the room.
"Yes, my young master," Sebastian said calmly, and he began to escort the young master down the hall.
They walked in silence, but this wasn't an uncommon thing. This was more like a routine. Sebastian shifted his gaze somewhat downwards before they rested on Ciel. When his parents died, the young boy had taken over, leaving every ounce of his childhood behind. The smile faded from Ciel's face, and the light in his eyes was replaced by darkness. He had not once truly smiled since.
Sebastian turned to the left and opened the door to the young master's bed chambers. He stepped back somewhat, allowing Ciel to walk through. He followed after Ciel while slowly shutting the door behind him.
Ciel was now standing beside his bed with his arms streched out wide. Sebastian knew the drill. He walked over to Ciel and began to undress the young master until he was left with nothing but his underwear own.
Sebastian walked over to the drawer and pulled out a white long sleeved button up shirt, far to big for the boy, and headed back to Ciel. Ciel's arms were still stretched out wide and Sebastian took advantage of this, slipping each arm through the one of the sleeves and buttoning up the shirt.
Ciel plopped down on the bed while removing the patch that covered his right eye. He placed it on the nightstand and shifted his gaze to the floor.
"Sebastian," Ciel started hesitantly, "I want you to stay here until I fall asleep."
Sebastian looked a bit surprised, but only a moment before his usual calm composure took over. "Yes, my young master."
Ciel pulled the covers out from underneath him and slipped in before pulling it back up to his chin. While Ciel did this, Sebastian walked over and sat in a chair across from the young boy's bed.
Sebastian's gaze was now locked on the form of Ciel tucked underneath the covers. His eyes remained this way until he could see the rise and fall of Ciel's body indicating that the young master had fallen asleep.
Sebastian rose from the chair and walked over to the bed, sitting down without hesitation and looked down at Ciel's face. Funny how much he looked like a child but then again he was. He was no more than a child who had been forced to grow up before his time.
He almost felt pity for the young master, but it was instead replaced by something else. As he stared down at the young master, he was overcome by a feeling which was unknown to him, and before realizing it, leaned down and pressed his lips against the young master's.
Sebastian didn't know why, but for some reason, this felt right, but at the same time, wrong. He lifted Ciel's head up, deeping the kiss, and remained like that until what seemed like forever before finally breaking the kiss.
Sebastian breathed heavily while keeping his eyes on the still sleeping Ciel. He was surprised the young master hadn't woke up and also relieved. He wouldn't know how to begin explaining this one.
Sebastian rose from the bed and walked towards the door. He looked at Ciel one last time before exiting the room, shutting the door behind him.
Sebastian's footsteps could be heard from the hallway inside the room before fading away. A smile was now streched wide across Ciel's face, and that was the first time in so long he truly smiled.
