Ok I'm really showin ya'll my roots here... The song part is to the tune of Back in the saddle By pretty much every old time country music artist ever. Enjoy, R&R, all that jazz...

K-unit was in the middle of a high stress mission. Namely, covering Alex Rider's, aka Cub's back as he escaped from some random (To them) rich psycho's house. The unit was half way up the face of a mountain overlooking the sprawling grounds hidden by some boulders as they took pot shots at any one who tried to stop the fleeing teen. By now Rich Dude's guards had worked out there the bullets where coming from and where trying to return fire, failing miserably due to the excellent cover of the boulders.

They covered the youngest member of their unit until he hit the tree line, effectively cutting off their line of sight. Three of them relaxed a bit while Wolf kept a look out on the trees. Eagle leaned back against the rock face humming madly. Snack was checking over his gun and asked unthinkingly. "What are you humming Eagle?" He winced a second later realising what he had done, the glares from the other two were poisonous as Eagle spoke. "I wrote a new song! It's so perfect for this! Here let me sing it for you!" Snake tried to abort, panic obvious in his voice, "No Eagle! It's ok I-"

Eagle cut right over him and started singing loudly and slightly off key.

"Back into battle again.

Out where a foe is a fiend.

Where the enemies run from the sights on my gun.

Back into battle again."

Wolf stood and stalked over to the youngest member of his team. "Eagle. If you don't shut up right now you are going to get us all killed. And I will personally see to it that you are the first to go." Eagle paled a little and stopped singing.

Suddenly a voice spoke up from behind them. "Wait so Eagle was singing?!" Four highly trained SAS men spun to point their guns at the boy who had so easily snuck up on them in plain daylight. Alex continued, "I heard the noise from halfway down the mountain and would have sworn one of you was killing a cat."

Fox grinned, "It was his singing, though I have to admit it was even worse than normal because he was trying to fake a Southern American accent..." They all winced when a spray of machine gun bullets hit the mountain face a few yards to their left and Wolf started off at a trot. "I Believe it's time to go. Eagle. No more singing on missions... And no singing in the helicopter either!"

So yeah this was really short and kinda random... Please Review!
