Gray Chuckled. Natsu closed the magazine with an irritated huff.
"I hate it! I hate it! I hate it! I hate it! I HATE IT!"
Gray resisted the urge to fall off the sofa, laughing, extra hard.
"Seriously Gray! How come you're so calm with this?! You're letting Gildarts use us again to his own benefits!"
The black haired boy remained laughing. After a while he tried to calm down and pay more attention to Natsu's angry voice. He couldn't see the dumbass' face, but if he could, he knew Natsu would be glaring.
"Ugh…" Calm your shit laughing down, "—Ah… I mean, it's not only his benefits, our income currently depends on it. Remember when you restricted me from going on missions? Bitch is in the form of pay back."
Natsu threw the magazine at Gray's head and shouted, "I TOLD YOU I WOULD'VE TEAMED UP WITH LUCY TO GET OUR FOOD! I don't know why we have to-" He came to a halt when he sensed anger pouring out of Gray's seams.
"And… You do remember what I said about it, right?"
Natsu crossed his arms over his chest and huffed. Not only that, but kicked the magazine's edition across the room, then settled on the floor once more. "Fine, I understand!"
"I'll make sure… it's worth it."
"What? Babysitting you? Relax, I would rather do it instead of Juvia, at least."
"Well, dear, if you weren't so much of a jealous bastard, none of this could've happened." Gray snapped.
"I AM THE JEALOUS BASTARD NOW?! DID YOU FORGET HOW I GOT YOUR SHITTY EARRING, ASSHOLE?!"
"What the fuck ever."
"Hmph!" Natsu stood up and went to the kitchen of Gray's house, "Damn hypocrite!"
"It looks good on you… the earring… I mean." Gray concluded.
Natsu stopped drinking water, a slight discoloration catching his cheeks and ears, "You can't even see you liar…"
"I saw you before wearing it… before all this happened… and I think it suits you."
A long sigh was heard, then Natsu came out from the kitchen, and sat next to shirtless Gray. His hand went over the black hair and rested on pale neck, "I… The earring, it's… it's awesome, thanks."
Gray's hand held Natsu's one which was on his neck and the black haired smiled, "I'm glad. It's not as bad as you see… But-ah, sorry for hurting you-"
"-Can you please not talk about this? You've already said sorry enough. Start learning new vocabulary."
Gray's consternation faded away as he stood up, dragging Natsu with him, "It's bedtime."
"Aha! No way! Sensei said you shouldn-"
"Let her shove it! I will have you tonight!"
"I'm not a damned beef, crazy!"
As they continued arguing, the magazine edition rested forgotten on the red round carpet.
