There was no doubt in everyone at San Francisco High's mind that Annabeth Chase was untouchable. The half Greek girl was a full Greek goddess with a mind of a genius. Within her first week at her new high school she already had half of the male population, along with some of the female population gunning for her. There were daily requests towards Annabeth regarding date and when she turned every single one of them down without a second thought, she gained the title of untouchable.

There was one other thing that was untouchable was Annabeth's love of architecture. The students at San Fran High learned that the hard way, namely Matt Rockwell's group of fans.

Two Months Ago

Annabeth had just transferred to San Francisco High, San Fran H. for short, and she hated every second of it. She was far from the protection of Camp Half-Blood and as much as she didn't want to admit it, she was scared to live with her dad again.

The blonde half-blood sat in the library after rejection some jock. She was enjoying her peace and quiet when her architecture book was rudely ripped out of her hands.

"Can I help you?" Annabeth asked she looked up to see a group of angry females.

"You're the new girl right. The one who turned down Matt?" asked the girl in front whose hands were on her hips.

Annabeth wasn't sure who Matt was but there were a few mortals who had tried to talk to her today. "Can I have my book back?"

"Not until you answer her question," a girl from the back piped up. A tick appeared on Annabeth's head.

"Yeah," a few girls responded, slamming their hands on the table. The tick grew along with her anger.

"Architecture huh," the girl in front said, flipping through Annabeth's book.

"Yes, that's the art or practice of designing and constructing buildings. In case you were wondering," Annabeth said.

"It's kind of stupid, who needs architecture anyways," the main girl said. The tick in Annabeth's head was about to explode. Is she serious?

"Are you serious?" Annabeth voiced her thoughts.

"Oops," the girl said, as she 'accidently' ripped one of the pages. The tick exploded.

Annabeth got up from her seat and approached the leader of the group. Some of the girls started to back away as Annabeth approached. Instinctively she reached to where her dagger would be and when she realized that it wasn't there, she smoothly recovered and grabbed a pencil. Annabeth started to bring the pencil up towards the girl.

"What. What are you doing with that?" Annabeth didn't reply but she kept moving. "Here. Take your stupid book." She shoved the book towards Annabeth just as Annabeth approached her.

"This is a library, be quiet," was all Annabeth said. As she grabbed her book and left. Behind her, the group of girls collapsed, all in fear.

Now

Annabeth was sitting on the top of the stairs reading her latest architecture book; she was waiting for Percy to pick her up. She stopped reading to look up when she heard the courtyard surprisingly quiet down.

"You know, I never really understood architecture," the cause of the silence said. Annabeth looked up to see him standing on the bottom step. The previous silence of the courtyard turned into an explosion of whispers.

"Does he know what he's doing?"

"Yo, did you hear that?"

"He's hot."

"Annabeth's pissed."

"Oh really now," Annabeth said. She closed her book and took one step down.

"I don't know him but lord help the poor soul."

"He is really hot, too bad his pretty face won't last long after Annabeth's done with it."

"Hey, get your phone out, we're going to watch Annabeth kick ass."

"Yeah, you see, it's just so boring and hard to understand," he said as he took one step up, closer to Annabeth.

"Well you know, it just might be because you're too much of a seaweed brain to understand," she said, once again taking another step down.

"Or maybe, just maybe, you're too much of a wise girl," he took one final step up, now face to face with Annabeth.

"Should. Should we stop her."

"I'll get a teache-"

"Holy, they're kissing."

"Wait! What"

"I've missed you," Annabeth said before giving a quick peck on the cheek.

"I missed you too. Let's go."

"Yeah." Ignoring the shocked faces and the stares (both of jealously and confusion) the couple left the property of San Fran High, hand in hand.

"Annabeth who's that?" Matt Rockwell, a jock that Annabeth had previously turned down, asked.

"That, is my boyfriend Percy."

"Hi, I'm Percy," he said, flashing his famous lop sided smile.

"Uh. M-Matt."

"We've got to go or we'll be late. Bye Matt."

It was on the stairs of San Francisco High were the untouchable Annabeth Chase and her love for architecture proved to be touchable.
