A/N: I would like to thank everybody who gave an encouraging review. It's nice to know that there are still caring people out there. I would like to assure you all that I am alive and well. I have dealt with a lot of issues recently, and am still trying to get myself settled into a new life. On top of this I really am not feeling into the Wreck it Ralph fandom right now, but I promise that I have not given up and do still know where this story was headed.

Vanellope huffed. She was walking through the forest with this freak. He had told her he needed her to follow him. Although why she still couldn't guess.

She didn't like him. She didn't know why, but something was just off. Honestly she hated that she couldn't tell.

Vanellope turned around to address him, ask him where the heck they were going. But as she did, she realized he was no longer there.

She sighed.

'Now where did he go?'

A noise from the brush caught her attention.

"Ugh!" Taffyta exclaimed, throwing her hands in the air and gripping her hair in aggrivation.

"Maybe he already left?" Candlehead offered, resting her arms on Taffyta's shoulders in an attempt to calm her down.

Taffyta looked her friend in the eyes and was about to reply, before Candlehead felt a sound push, falling into Taffyta.

Taffyta's eyes widened as their lips connected.

Unfortunately Vanellope chose this moment to push back the branches obstructing her view... He eyes widened as well.

Taffyta quickly pushed Candlehead off, but not in time to stop Vanellope from running away, tears in her eyes.

Taffyta finally caught up to Vanellope, grabbing her arm and forcing her to stop. When Vanellope turned around, Taffyta could see fire in her eyes. She hadn't even known Vanellope was capable of producing such a look.

Nonetheless she carried on.

"Vanellope, I swear it's not-"

"It's not what I think? Yeah sure, because that lines never been used before" Vanellope cut her off with a sarcastic tone.

Taffyta was a bit taken aback, but defended herself.

"I swear it wasn't! Did you not see she was pushed!?"

Vanellope snorted at that. She in fact hadn't seen that candlehead was pushed. She had merely pushed away the branches and saw them kissing.

"Right. Don't even try Taffyta..." Vanellope said, wiping tears from her eyes.

"Vanellope, you're not listening!" Taffyta yelled, grabbing Vanellope by the arm.

... A hand wound back in anger...

SLAP!

Taffyta turned her head back towards Vanellope, eyes wide in shock and the hand that once gripped the girl's arm covering her now red and burning cheek.

"Do NOT grab me!... We're over"

And for the first time since the reset, Vanellope could see glistening tears of utter sadness pooling in those bright blue eyes which she had always thought should only hold happiness.

A/N: so sorry this is so short... I'm really not into it though... It will probably be a LONG time before I ever feel like updating here again... But that doesn't mean I'm giving up. And I will never forget about this story.
