"Why the hell haven't you taught them anything?"

Glancing up from his book Kakashi blinked once at the dark haired female that had interrupted him as he ran her question through his mind again and tried to figure out what she was talking about.

While he was pretty sure she was commenting on his team and their lack of 'Cool Ninjitsu' the fact was that her comment made almost no sense in the context provided. He had taught them, all of them had gotten both team and individual training as well as advice on how to improve on their own time. Deciding that she was in fact commenting on the lack of Jitsu Kakashi sighed and after a moment of silence he finally closed his book and tucked it into one of his many pouches he kept on his belt.

"Teach me to whistle" he ordered and waited patiently as the woman that was admittedly not that much younger than himself frowned "It's one of the only things I've never been able to learn, but every time I ask people just tell me to put my lips together and blow." He explained before making a wet sound from behind his mask as he imitated what people had told him to do in the past.

"What the hell does whistling have to do with training these kids for the fight you are throwing them into?" Jacks growled as the silver haired man shrugged before he hopped off the rock he had been sitting on and turned to face her as his one eye looked on in amusement, years ago that amusement would have been enough to send her over the edge in a Biotic rage as she tried to wipe the assumed smile off the mans face. Thankfully her time with Sheppard and later as an educator had managed to calm her down from her knee jerk reaction.

Kakashi watched carefully as the Leaf's newest educator nearly started something before reigning herself in, marking her reaction down for further study Kakashi tucked his hands in his pockets with a shrug "They are the same thing, I can easily show my precious little genin the hand signs for the greater fireball jitsu, I can tell them that to use it you mix fire chakra into the air in your lungs before exhaling it in a rush just as it starts to combust. But everything after that is trial and error on the student's part until they get it, once they get a reaction I can give them pointers to make it hotter, bigger, hold it longer or any other option you could imagine." He explained as he slumped into his patented lazy pose "until they get to that point though it's the same as me telling them to put their lips together and blow."

Turning away from the angry young woman Kakashi whistled pleasantly as he walked away to continue helping Sasuke prepare for his upcoming fight.

*Break*

Sitting in the stadium seat Jacks glared down at the sand below her and tried to convince herself that this wasn't like her own time growing up, that the child soldiers below her were somehow treated better than she had been.

She could in fact almost convince herself, the fact that everyone fought from youngest to oldest went a long way to easing her troubled mind, at least as far as the Leaf was concerned. Apparently other villages were more like Cerberus had been.

Looking down at the red head boy below Jacks could see a very familiar reflection in his eyes. Her introspection was broken as she was joined by a jubilant pair of teens and the personal bane of her existence.

"WHAT A YOUTHFUL DAY!" Might Guy said exuberantly as he stood akimbo in the isle and looked out over the arena with an eye watering bright smile, to his left Ten-Ten glared at him as she stood carefully with her weight on the crutch she was using as her back healed from her fight with the female part of the sand trio. To his right however stood Jacks own part time student, the boy had made some amazing strides in the past month and had even began to take on some of Jacks personal quirks as the leather jacket he wore over the green spandex showed, she would have much preferred him to lose the horrible haircut or the spandex entirely, but she would take what she could get in countering the indoctrination the boy had suffered under during his time as a Genin.

For a horrible moment Jack had an image of wave after wave of green spandex clad husks crawling towards her before she shook the thought off with a shudder, she really didn't want to find out which was better at Indoctrination, Guy or the Reapers.

The Psychotic Biotic blinked at the mental image of a massive thousand foot tall reaper striding across the face of the world in green spandex after the acknowledged fighting master got through with them caused her to chuckle slightly "Sit down before you scare people" she ordered and smiled as Rock Lee sat by her side with Guy taking the young teens other and let Ten-Ten have the isle seat so she wasn't forced to traverse the cramped row of seats with her crutches.

As they got settled and waited for the matches to start Jacks grilled her student on the Rules of Biotics, it was a set of rules she had drilled into her students heads back at the academy and she was making sure her newest student had it pounded into his head.

Rule one, Don't Die. Rule Two, Make the other person Die. Rule Three, Don't start a fight. Rule Four, Always end the Fight. Rule Five, unless it's in a ring its never a fair fight. Rule Six, Just because it's in a ring doesn't mean it's a fair fight.

On and on she drilled the rules into the young man's head answering questions from the others on his team and expanding on why the rules existed, by the time they got to the twentieth Rule the fights were about to start and Jacks let the teen focus on what was happening down on the sand below, out of the corner of her eye Jacks could see Guy's fist clinch as his student walked out onto the field, even with the precautions and rules in place there was a very real chance of death in these fights.

Taking a deep breath Jacks leaned back and waited for this to all be over.

*Break*

Jacks blinked as a cloud of white feathers fluttered across her vision for a moment before the people around her slumped down unconscious.

She was actually surprised when all hell broke loose in the stadiums seating area, with a thought Jacks punched Rock Lee in the shoulder waking the teen from his enforced sleep, as he blinked his overly large eyes Jacks glared at the disabled teen on the far right that Guy was currently shifting to conceal under the seats.

While the girl would have been useful the fact of the matter was that having injured people in a fight was a liability, both reapers and Cerberus had targeted the hospitals during the galactic war and had exacted a massive toll on those that had defended them.

Shaking the thought off Jacks turned to her student and poked the teen on the side of his head to get his attention "Lee, Rules one and two are now in effect." She ordered before pointing at the fighting that was escalating quickly around them "Do NOT hold back."

Staring at her for a half a second Rock Lee understood exactly what he was being ordered to do, while not his first fight or even his first kill, this would definitely be the first time he had been ordered to kill without hesitation. Nodding in acceptance Rock Lee activated the quick release drops Jacks had ordered made for his weights before disappearing in a blur.

As the green blur entered the fray next to his sensei Jacks glanced up at the red barrier that was going up around the area that the old man had been sitting.

With a feral smile Jacks activated her Biotic Rush and blurred in the direction of the Hokage.
