It was half an hour later and right now Harriet was sitting outside on the swing under the willow tree, swinging happily with a cat on her lap napping. She was happy and content for the moment, nice warm sunshine from the setting sun, a cool wind in her hair, a warm cuddly cat snuggled up close. Yep things were good.

Suddenly the cat in her lap shot up and hissed as it leapt away from her.

'Finally~ Ssssome prey~' A voice hissed from behind Harriet, causing her to turn around quickly and look at the medium sized snake that was slithering towards them.

'Foolish serpent! I won't let you hurt princess!' Another voice said from behind Harriet, causing her to turn around again only to see the cat behind her hissing as it advanced on the snake.

'I am not ssstupid feline. I do not go after prey I cannot handle. Ssshe isss not my target! You Are!" The snake hissed as it shot towards the cat. Harriet's eyes widened in horror, not the kitty!

'Leave her alone!' Harriet shouted at the snake, causing it freeze mid-lunge while the cat froze just before it could pounce.

'A ssspeaker?!' Both of the animals said staring wide eyed at Harriet who got in between the cat and the snake.

'Leave the kitty alone you mean sssnake!' Harriet said glaring at the snake, her eyes beginning to narrow and glow slightly while the snake stared at her open mouthed.

'Asss you wisssh ssspeaker. I ssshall make do with lizzzardsss and ratsss.' The snake said after a moment of staring at Harriet, bowing its head and slithering off into the woods.

'Princess is a snake speaker?' The cat asked shocked before taking off towards the house with a hiss.

"Well well freak. No cats around to protect you now." Dudley said sneering as he approached Harriet who tensed at this but favored him with a dead look as she heard several hisses behind her that didn't come from snakes.

"Don't be so sure of that." Harriet said as several cats shot towards Dudley when he swung at Harriet, neither of them noticing Lena on the porch about to stop Dudley. With a small pop sound, Harriet vanished from sight while the cats began to scratch up Dudley.

"That was new." Harriet said emotionlessly as she looked around the room she was in.

There was a dark green grassy plain like painting along the walls, the ceiling was painted like the night sky, complete with some of the stars in random spots, there was a light brown baby crib and rocking chair on one side near a corner, and a childs bed with cat decorations and green sheets on it against the other wall. The words 'Forte Amor Lenir-Dupree' were carved into the headboard.

"There is something…familiar about this room." Harriet noted as she looked around blankly.

Her eyes widened at the words that were whispered into her ear from the powerful cat like lady that told Harriet to call her 'Grandma'.

'That's because this was your room as a babe little kitten. This is the room you should have grown up in.'
