Unconventional Love Part II

Harry raced through the corridors from Gryffindor Tower to the Hospital Wing. The adult most important to him who had survived the war had finally come out of his coma. Using his Quittage reflexes to his advantage, he dodged the students still milling about after dinner.

It was true that Professor Snape hadn't been his nicest teacher (understatement of the year), but Snape's memories spoke volumes. He had acted out of love - love for Harry's mother - as well as grief. The man had lived 17 years wrongly believing that he had been the cause of Lily's death.

Harry could tell that Voldemort would have killed her eventually, if only because she worked for the Order. Another person could have been conscripted to attempt a job interview with Dumbledore and overheard the prophesy.

Harry had to get to Snape's side. What if he did something rash, like leaving the Hospital Wing before fully healing? What if someone takes advantage of his time of weakness?

What if he has a nightmare?

Harry could only hope that he got to Severus before something bad happened.
