Frank ran a finger over his lip as he waited and wondered how to break the news to Horatio. He knew Horatio was going to be furious at Stetler for not letting him know Hank Kerner was out of prison, and that Miles Turner was transferred to a different penitentiary. He sighed as he saw Horatio walking his way with Calleigh. Frank nodded and smiled a tight smiled at Calleigh before cutting to the chase. "Horatio, we need to talk…privately please."

"I'll go ahead and call the authorities to have Ben in for questioning again." Calleigh said before walking away.

"Thank you." Horatio said keeping a close eye on Frank. "What's up?"

"Stetler's what's up." Frank sighed in frustration. "Horatio, out of all the slimy things he's done…this is the dong on worst of em'." Frank sighed in frustration.

Horatio shifted his weight and nodded. "What's going on?"

"Hank Kerner is out jail…he has been for months, Horatio."

Horatio clenched his jaw and looked down whilst shaking his head. "Where's Rick?"

"There's more…..Miles Turner."

Horatio looked up with furrowed eyebrows." He…he has life without parole, Frank."

"Not anymore...he was let out on good behavior."

"What?" Horatio asked in shock.

"I told you it's bad…..I can't find that slime bag Stetler but when and if I do…..believe me you will be the first to know." Frank said in his Texan accent.

"Thank you, Frank." Horatio said before walking away. He was beyond pissed with Stetler and he was beginning to figure out who was causing all of the havoc in Miami. Horatio needed to find Calleigh fast and he knew she wasn't going to like the plan he had for her. Hank Kerner tried killing her once and it almost destroyed Horatio; he wasn't about to let Kerner try again. Horatio took a deep breath to calm himself before he went into the interrogation room. He smiled when he saw Calleigh sitting down in the chair. "Hey,"

"Hey, everything okay?" She asked.

"Um…..yeah…..just um…ready for this case to be over." Horatio said.

Calleigh nodded and watched him closely knowing something was wrong. "Yeah, me too…Ben is on his way. He should be here in about ten minutes."

Horatio nodded and walked over to the other side of the room whilst fidgeting with his sunglasses. His mind began to wander over the information Frank just provided him with. He already made up his mind and decided to have Calleigh take safer precautions. He smiled a little knowing that was going to be one hell of a conversation considering they already had an agreement on no field work unless she was with him. He also knew if he told her about Miles Turner she wouldn't let him out of her sight. Miles Turner was a dangerous man and Horatio knew he would hurt Calleigh to get back at him. He felt her walk over to him and he turned to her with a small smile.

"Are you sure everything is okay?"

"Everything is not that great…..but…but I promise to explain everything after the interrogation okay?"

Calleigh nodded. "Okay, I trust you…I just don't want you to burden yourself with so much worry. I'm here if you need me, handsome."

Horatio smiled whole heartedly at her sincere words. "Sweetheart, you have no idea what those words mean to me."

Calleigh grinned. "I can imagine,"

The door opened and Ben came walking in with handcuffs. The guard assisted him as Ben sat down in the chair to be questioned. Immediately, Horatio and Calleigh returned back to their professional selves in order to question Ben. "What now? I'm already going to jail….I was in handcuffs and these stupid jail clothes before I even got to call my lawyer. What do you want now? You guys already have me for murder…..what more could I have done?" Ben asked.

"Awe, come on Ben…I for one think you look really good in orange." Calleigh smiled sarcastically. "You wouldn't be back here if it weren't for your temper that's boiling up."

"Anyone would be angry right now if they were going through this shit!" Ben said.

"Yes, but you…..my friend…you have got an anger issue. Jennifer…Jennifer wasn't the only one who noticed that…was she Ben? You got fired for assault…on two occasions. Ring any bells?" Horatio asked whilst shifting his weight.

Ben rolled his eyes and huffed. "My ex-boss was an old coot…..he fired me over a stupid little matter that wasn't even my fault."

"Why don't you enlighten us then?" Calleigh said with one raised eyebrow.

Ben sighed whilst shaking his head. "The day I found out Jennifer got a restraining order against me…..I…I have to admit I did let my actions get the best of me. I got a letter served to me at my job. I mean come on…I was humiliated in front of all my co-workers…..I went out after work and I drank a little too much."

"So, you're telling us that you assaulted two people at your job whilst you were drunk?" Calleigh asked.

Ben rolled his eyes and smirked. "It doesn't matter…...I'm already going to prison."

"That's where you're wrong Ben…..because it does matter. It matters because your boss, Charles Buchanan, has just informed us that a key…..a key to the hotel went missing." Horatio said as he watched Ben's reaction. "He also informed us…..that you…you were the only one who had a spare. Not to mention…..that key may have been used by the person who cause the explosion a few days ago."

Ben huffed. "So,"

Calleigh smirked. "So…..the question is…what did you do with the spare?"

Ben shifted in his chair and shrugged. "I was pissed when Charles fired me…..he told me to drop it off on his desk, but I never did. It's somewhere at my place…..am I done now?"

"For now…have a nice ride." Horatio smirked.

Calleigh waited until Ben was out of the room before turning in her chair to face Horatio. "So, you want to head over to his place to find the key?"

Horatio pursed his lips with furrowed eyebrows. "Um…I…I…something has come up and I don't want you to worry. But I think…I think it would be safer for you if you were off this case."

Calleigh shook her head in protest. "Why? What could possibly be so bad that I have to be off of this case? Is it my dad?" Calleigh asked getting concerned.

Horatio sighed. "No, you're dad is not involved."

"Okay, well…..is it about this guy who's after us because I'm not scared or worried about that-"

"It's Hank Kerner, Calleigh." Horatio shifted his weight with a clenched jaw. "He's been out for months…Stetler…..Stetler decided to not inform us for some stupid reason."

Calleigh stared at Horatio in shock. Hank Kerner killed her best friend Janet Darling and then set his prying eyes on her next. However, Calleigh caught him before he got a chance to get to her and now he's coming for her again. "I'm not quitting this case, Horatio."

Horatio exhaled. "I know you're not…but I'm asking…..I'm asking for you to please take more precautions."

Calleigh smiled. "I always do, handsome."

"Yes, you do." Horatio smiled.

"Are you thinking that Kerner could be involved in these explosions?"

"Mhmmm…..Miles Turner might also be involved." Horatio said as he opened the interrogation door for her. He followed her out the door as they began walking together.

"Who's that?" asked Calleigh.

Horatio sighed. "Miles Turner…was a man I put away in New York when I was working with NYPD. He's a serial killer and he was just transferred here from New York…..and then…then he was released two years ago."

Calleigh gasped in shock. "Why didn't someone say anything?"

"That's what I'm about to find out." Horatio said in a low voice.

"Hey," Calleigh said in soothing voice whilst placing her delicate hand on his arm. "Don't do anything rash okay…..I know…I know Stetler can be a pain but just…..just be careful okay?"

Horatio looked into her beautiful green eyes and smiled a sincere smile. "I will…..thank you, Cal."

"Ditto, handsome." She winked with a grin and turned to walk away. "I'll be in ballistics if you need me."

"Mmmm," Horatio smiled and shook his head. He thought to himself 'I always need you, beautiful.' He sighed and decided talking to Stetler at the moment would not be a good idea considering Horatio might punch his teeth out. Instead, he called Eric and Ryan to tell them to head over to Ben's to search for the key. After getting off the phone, Horatio then headed towards his office to check his e-mail. He began to wonder if the man sending him the e-mail was either Hank Kerner or Miles Turner. Horatio knew they had to be working together because Miles never met Calleigh, or maybe it was just Hank Kerner sending the e-mails. Either way Horatio knew that both men were creating some kind of new scheme. He just had to figure out what it was and fast.

"Okay, so H said that Ben might have the spare key to the hotel here." Eric said. "So, how about you search that side of the room and I'll take this side?"

"Great…just great." Ryan sighed with a grunt whilst scratching the top of his eyebrow in a sarcastic manner.

Eric turned to look at Ryan. "You got something to say Wolfe…just say it."

"Obviously if you search the bedroom you'll probably find it there…..I mean I get it. Finding things is the main way to get noticed in this job."

Eric snorted and shook his head. "No, I'm trying to race you to find something Wolfe. If you wanna search the bedroom so bad go do it yourself." Eric headed in the other direction towards the kitchen.

Ryan smirked. "You didn't have to switch,"

"You didn't have to whine about it." Eric said as began searching. "Can we get back to the case or is that too difficult for you?"

Ryan sighed and slightly rolled his eyes before heading to the bedroom to search. He hated being the new guy and he knew Eric hated him. Calleigh was his trainer and adviser but for some reason today she had to work with Horatio. Ryan wanted nothing more to work with Calleigh because everyone knew she was trained by the best, the lieutenant himself. He cleared his thoughts and began concentrating on finding the key. Ryan didn't find much in his bedroom or bathroom, so he began searching the other spare bedroom and bathroom. He walked back into the kitchen to find Eric bagging and tagging the key. "Hey, why didn't you say anything?"

Eric looked over at Ryan and shook his head. He stood up and handed Ryan the key before grabbing his key. "You take it…we're a team Wolfe…it's not a race. I get you don't like me but if we have to be paired up more often…you need to know that I do my job to get justice for the victims. Not to impress people by what I do or find."

Ryan stood there for a second with a blank expression before sighing and following Eric back out to the hummer. He now hated the fact that he had the key in his possession, but he didn't want Eric to know. The car ride back to MDPD was quiet and both men were a little agitated with one another. Once they arrived back to the lab, Ryan quickly got out of the hummer which made Eric chuckle a little. Ryan walked through the lab with a quick stride and gave Calleigh a tight smile whilst passing the front desk.

Calleigh smiled with furrowed eyebrows when she saw Ryan. She chuckled when Eric approached her. "What's up with Ryan?"

Eric rolled his eyes and smirked. "The usual…..he's too damn competitive and apparently doesn't like constructive criticism."

"Oh boy…..you two need to get along."

Eric grunted. "So, anything good happen whilst I was with Eeyore?"

Calleigh chuckled. "You're terrible…..No, not really. Although Stetler apparently decided to keep us out of the loop by not telling us two inmates were released from prison…..one including Hank Kerner."

Eric's whole demeanor changed when he heard Hank Kerner's name. "What…..what the hell is his problem?"

Calleigh shook his head. "What isn't his problem?"

Eric smirked. "I know H is pissed."

Calleigh nodded and sighed. "I don't blame him."

"You okay?" Eric asked.

Calleigh smiled and looked up at him. "Yeah…..you know I don't get creeped out by criminals."

"Mm...I know…they should be afraid of you." Eric chuckled. "Okay, I'm going to go check and see if Ryan got anything off this key." Eric patted Calleigh's arm and gave it a quick squeeze before turning away. "Stay safe."

"Thanks, Eric." Calleigh smiled. She and Eric became really close after Speedles' death. He was literally one of her closest friends that she really trusted, besides Horatio. Since Speed passed away, she and Eric occasionally hang out from time to time. She hoped Horatio wouldn't mind and become jealous, but she smiled knowing he would be fine with it. After all, it was just Eric…..even though he did hit on her once. That was four years ago and she knew he knew she didn't like him in that way. She shook off her thoughts and back to work with her mail in her hand.

"Knock knock." Horatio said before entering the ballistics lab.

"Hey," Calleigh said with a smile. "I was just about to come and find you. I'm just finishing up with some paper work then I will be heading home soon."

Horatio nodded. "No worries…I…I think I may be able to find out who has been sending the emails."

Calleigh looked up from her paperwork with raised eyebrows. "Really?"

"Mhmm….a friend of mine works in the CSI tech department…he said he can tap into the system and…and let us know within a few hours who and where it's coming from."

"Well, it sounds like you just got us our first lead on this case…..nice going, handsome." Calleigh smiled that mega-watt smile he loved so much.

Horatio smiled. "Thank you…..so, I was thinking," Horatio said whilst moving closer and continuing in a hushed tone voice. "I was thinking I could make you dinner tonight….what are in the mood for?"

"Mmmm….surprise me, handsome." Calleigh grinned seductively.

Horatio moaned low with a chuckle whilst looking down. "Believe me…..I will and can surprise you sweetheart….be careful what you wish for around me."

"Are you threatening me, lieutenant?" Calleigh asked giggling.

"Mmmm…..I'm going to go now before….before I do something that gives the people any impression that…that we are indeed dating." Horatio chuckled.

Calleigh laughed and nodded. "Okay, well….so your place or mine, handsome?"

"Mmmm...it doesn't matter to me sweetheart."

"Okay, then why don't we do your's? I can swing by my house and grab some clothes." She looked at her watch before responding. "And I could meet you there in like...ten to fifteen minutes."

Horatio nodded. "Sounds good...I'll grab some take out and meet you there. You um...you might need this." He said with a smirk whilst handing her an envelope.

Calleigh raised an eyebrow. "What's this?"

"Mmm…..you will find out soon enough...See ya in a few." Horatio wiggled his eyebrows.

She chuckled as he turned back around giving her a wink. She shook her head and began working on her paper work once again. After about 45 more minutes, she decided to call it a night. She opened the envelope Horatio gave her and saw that it was a key to his place. She couldn't help but smile. She signed off the remaining paper work and dropped them off at the front desk. She clocked herself out before heading on home. She smiled thinking home was at Horatio's place, with him and her together, and it sounded nice. Once she was at her place, she quickly ran inside and grabbed her some clothes along with her backup gun. She closed her front door behind her and locked up before turning to leave. Calleigh took only a few steps when she heard a click. She turned to look behind her and saw nothing but flames as her whole house exploded into pieces. Calleigh was thrown to the ground hard from the explosion. Her whole body was sore and she couldn't hear or hardly see anything. She noticed a tall black figure approaching her but she struggled to get up. She rolled over slowly and opened her eyes to see her neighbors running to her rescue. She looked back to where she saw the tall black figure, but there was no one there.

"Calleigh...oh my God….are you okay?" Danielle asked. Danielle Harper was the mother of Abby, the little girl who came to help Calleigh with her garden.

Calleigh sighed as Danielle helped her to stand. "Thanks."

"Calleigh you're bleeding….let me take you the hospital."

"No, I'm fine…..really I'm okay." Calleigh said whilst touching her bleeding forehead. They both looked back to her house that was now in flames. Calleigh shook her head in disbelief and fought the tears that began to prickle in her eyes. "My house however isn't okay…..I can't believe this."

"Peter already called the fire department…..why don't you stay with us tonight?"

"Its fine…..I've been staying with my boyfriend anyways." Calleigh smiled. "Thank you though."

Once the fire department arrived they put the flames out and searched around Calleigh's house to figure out how the fire started. They informed Calleigh that nothing in her house started the fire, and the one problem could have been the heat. Calleigh, on the other hand, didn't believe the firemen because she had a feeling that fire had some help getting started. After talking to the firemen, Calleigh waited at the Harper's house for Horatio to arrive. As soon as she told him what happened he immediately dropped everything and told her he was on his way. She sat on the Harper's couch and kept replaying the events of what just happened in her head. Could it have been a message from Kerner that he was after her? And who was that mysterious figure she saw? Her thoughts were interrupted by Abby who had decided to play doctor on Calleigh.

"I think you have a bump on your lump." Abby said whilst holding her toy stethoscope to Calleigh's forehead.

"Really?" Calleigh asked in a shocked voice. "What do you suggest, Dr. Abby?"

Abby grinned. "I suggest we have a sleepover and it will go away."

"Awe, sweetie! I would love that….but a very special friend of mine is on his way to get me now."

Abby's smile turned into a little pout and she nodded sadly. "I never see you anymore."

Calleigh smiled and picked the little girl up to sit in her lap. "Hey, I'm going to make you a promise…..okay?"

Abby nodded quickly with a smile. "Okay."

"I promise that when my house is better….we will have the most awesome, coolest, and funniest sleepover you have ever had."

Abby gasped and grinned. "Can we stay up late and watch movies?"

Calleigh laughed. "You bet we can…..we just have to make sure it's okay with your mom."

"I'm sure she won't mind…..I'll ask her now." Abby ran into the other room to find her mom.

Calleigh smiled as she watched the little one run as fast as she could to tell her mom the news. She looked out the window back to where her house was and frowned. Her whole roof was burned to ashes along with her garage. She still couldn't believe that all her possessions were just gone. The firemen explained there was nothing in her house that started the fire, but Calleigh already knew that. She knew Horatio was going to want to investigate how her house caught on fire. Calleigh, however, knew it was Kerner. She knew he somehow managed to get in her house and start that fire. She also had a bad feeling in her gut that he was the one she saw standing over her before Danielle rushed over to her. Her thoughts we're interrupted once again by Abby.

"Calleigh…..I found your special friend." Abby giggled running over to her.

Calleigh turned to her and smiled when she saw Horatio walking over to her. "You did…..Abby this is Horatio. Horatio this is Abby."

"Hi Abby….I…I have heard a lot about you." Horatio smiled after kneeling down to Abby.

Abby smiled. "Hi Horatio…..I like your name."

Horatio smiled. "Thank you…..so, have you been keeping Cinderella company?"

Abby gasped and leaned close to whisper. "You know Cinderella?"

Horatio grinned and nodded. "She….she's in the room with us right now." Horatio darted his eyes over to Calleigh and smiled when he saw Abby's eyes grow bigger.

"I always tell her she looks like Cinderella too!" Abby said with a smile. "I like him, Calleigh."

Calleigh chuckled and looked at Horatio. "I like him, too."

Horatio looked over to her with a smile and she almost melted right there. "Abby….it was a pleasure meeting you, sweetheart."

"Nice meeting you too, sir." She said whilst curtsying for him which made Calleigh and Horatio both laugh.

Horatio and Calleigh said their goodbyes to the Harper's before getting into the hummer. Horatio kept a close eye on her on the ride home. Neither one said that much to each other the whole way to Horaito's place, but as soon as they got inside Horatio brought her into his embrace. "I'm so glad you're okay."

Calleigh sighed. "All my things are gone."

Horatio pulled back to look at her. "Those things can be replaced…..you….you however can never be replaced."

Calleigh smiled a small smile and kissed his lips. "Thank you for coming to get me, handsome."

"Anytime, beautiful…..are you hungry?"

Calleigh shook her head. "No, thank you."

"Okay."

"It was Hank Kerner." Calleigh said before sitting down on the couch. "I saw a figure before Danielle came over to me…..right after the explosion…..I saw a figure Horatio and I know it was him."

Horatio clenched his jaw and shook his head. "Or Miles Turner…..he would go after you to get to me."

"What's your history with this guy, Horatio?" Calleigh asked.

Horatio sighed. "It's a long story, sweetheart."

Calleigh smiled and walked over to sit on his lap. "Well….I'm not going anywhere."

Horatio smiled and kissed her cheek. "Okay…..well…when I first started NYPD there were multiple murders happening on a weekly basis. It was the same pattern for every murder…he'd tie them up, dress them down to their undergarments," Horatio paused a moment and clenched his jaw before continuing. "Then he um…..placed them on a hand carved cross that he made himself…he would tie their hands to each side and their feet to the bottom. On some occasions…..he would….um….rape the women before burning their bodies. The men he just….just burned them." Horatio shook his head wanting to the remembered images out of his head. "My partner and I…..found out where his workshop was….and we investigated. We walked in on him on the act…..and I held him at gunpoint as my partner…..my partner untied a woman he was about to kill." Horatio looked down before continuing and Calleigh linked their hands together which caused him to smile a little. "My partner…..was killed."

"Oh, Horatio…..I'm so sorry."

"Mmm….the worst part was….the woman….the woman was in on it. She killed my partner…..and pulled the gun on me." Horatio clenched his jaw. "I….I warned her twice before I shot her…..until this day….Miles Turner remembers me for killing the woman he loved and he has…vowed to do the same to me one day. Which is why I want you to be safe because I can't….I can't lose-"Horatio's voice cracked and his shook his head. "I can't lose you, Cal."

Calleigh took his face into her hands and kissed his lips. "Horatio Caine….I love you….and I trust you so much. I understand why you're worried about me, but handsome if he found where I lived….what's going to stop him from finding out where I'm going to be hiding."

Horatio nodded and sighed. "You….my love….have a point."

Calleigh smiled. "So, what we are going to do now?"

"Well….for starters, we need to go to your house and see if we can find anything."

Calleigh nodded. "Okay, what about Turner and Kerner?"

Horatio looked up at her with a smile when she giggled. "What?"

Calleigh grinned and shook her head. "It's their names….they rhyme…rhymes make me giggle."

"Mmm…that's good to know." Horatio chuckled whilst wiggling his eyebrows. "So, Kerner and Turner." He smiled when Calleigh almost laughed. "I'm started to really think….that these two are involved in these cases."

"But why blow up hotels and shops?"

Horatio lifted his eyebrows. "Mmm….to burn people and kill for sport. We both now know that….Miles Turner likes to burn people."

"And Hank Kerner likes to kill for sport." Calleigh sighed. "This is the most stressful case."

"Mmmm….I couldn't agree more." Horatio looked at her beautiful face and smiled. "I love you, sweetheart….I am so glad you are okay."

Calleigh looked into his beautiful crystal blue eyes and smiled. "I love you, too."

He pressed his forehead against hers and soon their lips brushed against each others. He never got tired of kissing her lips. They were so soft, delicate, and smooth against his mouth. Their mouths always moved in sync together. Calleigh moaned into the kiss and turned her body to straddle his hips which caused Horatio to groan. Calleigh whimpered as Horatio began to kiss and suckle her neck. She began to roll and grind her hips against his hardening member. She gasped when she felt him bite her ear and giggled when he blew in it. Horatio chuckled at hearing her giggle. "I…love…that sound." He said in between kisses.

"Mmm….I…love to hear….this sound." Calleigh said before grinding harder against him causing Horatio to moan.

Horatio grabbed her hips as she continued to grind against him. He started lifting her shirt up and skimmed his fingers against her soft exposable skin. Their lips parted for a second as Horatio lifted her shirt over her head letting it land somewhere on the floor. Calleigh started unbuttoning his shirt as Horatio started unbuttoning her pants. Both of them were panting hard, kissing, and nipping every inch of skin that was exposed. Horatio moaned and leaned his head back when Calleigh started licking his neck. "Sweetheart." He crushed his lips back to hers and they moaned in sync.

Calleigh broke the kiss to breath and got rid of Horatio's shirt and undershirt. Horatio groaned whilst running is fingers in her long blond locks as she began to kiss, lick, and suckle every part of his chest. Calleigh moaned and stood up to lower herself between his legs and unbuckled his pants. She looked up and smiled at him as she unbuttoned his pants. She kept eye contact with him as she reached inside his pants and stroked him. He leaned his head back and licked his dry lips. "Calleigh…..sweetheart you don't have too."

"I want too….just relax." She smiled and continued to stroke him slowly.

"Ahh…..God." Horatio clenched his jaw.

"Lift up for me…..please?" She asked in a breathy tone.

"Uhhh….God….Calleigh I don't think-"Horatio groaned when she squeezed him slightly.

Calleigh rolled her eyes and little with a smile. "If you're not going to help me then….I'll just do it myself." She tugged his pants down until she could easily reach into his pants and pulled his member out of his boxers. She moaned a low moaned at the sight of his member popping out freely in front of her. She kissed the tip of him and smiled hearing him gasp. Calleigh bit her lip before taking him fully into her mouth and Horatio groaned whilst clenching his fists.

"Calleigh," He moaned. Her mouth was so warm and she was driving him crazy as she let her tongue slide all over him. He kept his eyes close because he knew if he looked down at her beautiful head moving up and down that would be the death of him; she was the death of him. He smiled thinking that this was a wonderful way to die. Calleigh moaned as she explored tasting Horatio for the first time. She paid close attention to how and what made him more excited. She was happy to see, hear, and feel at how excited he was. She continued moving her head as she let her hands slide up and down on his thighs. Horatio just couldn't take it anymore and he pulled Calleigh back up to his lips.

Calleigh gasped as he picked her up whilst standing up and managing to get his pants off leaving him in nothing but his boxers. She chuckled into their kiss as she wrapped her arms and legs around him. They both moaned as Horatio pushed her against the wall. He began kissing her neck traveling lower to the valley of her breasts. Calleigh sighed and ran her fingers through his thick red locks. She helped him get her bra off and moaned as he buried his face between her breasts. "Ohhh,"

"Mmmm…..you are so…beautiful." Horatio said in between little kisses and licks. He sucked her nipple as his hands began to travel lower to her pants. He managed to get them off and Calleigh was able to step out of them. Horatio then began to give her other twin the same attention as the other. He grunted when Calleigh's hands were back on his member and stroking him through his boxers. He grabbed her hand and placed it above her head. "Do not….move…..those hands sweetheart."

Calleigh panted and nodded. "Okay," She writhed under his touch as he began to kiss lower down to her stomach. She whimpered as she felt his breath against her stomach. She closed her eyes as she felt him slide her underwear down slowly whilst trailing kisses all down her legs. She stepped out of them and watched as he looked up at her with a lustful look. His eyes changed to a deep sexy blue color that made her get that tingly feeling in the pit of her stomach. What he did next made her almost dripping wet. Horatio gave her a wicked grin before he lifted her legs onto his shoulders and buried his face into her warm slick center. "Oh my….Horatio." Calleigh jerked her head back into the wall behind her. Horatio moaned as he used his tongue and mouth to please her. He held her up against the wall and took his fill wanting her to feel everything he could give her. He held her thighs tighter as she began to move against his face. He placed one leg down and licked a finger before inserting it into her.

"Ooohhh….Horatio….Horatio." She moaned.

Horatio looked up to see her moving her hands towards him and shook his head. "No….leave them. No touching sweetheart….I want you to feel….everything." He inserted another finger inside of her which caused Calleigh to thrash her head from side to side. He swore he got harder as he felt her tighten against his fingers.

"Ohhhh…..Horatio….please…..oh my God…ahhhhhhhhh." Calleigh's whole body stiffened as her orgasm rippled through her body. She felt her whole body blush and she couldn't help but shake from the tingly feeling bursting through her body. Her breathing was hard and she couldn't contain the sounds coming from her mouth. She whimpered as he kissed her center once more before removing his boxers and lifting her up once again.

"You're so beautiful." Horatio kissed her lips before positioning himself at her entrance and thrusting deep inside her. They both moaned at the feeling of them becoming one. Horatio buried his face into her neck and drew himself halfway out of her before slamming back in deep.

"Ahhhh…..Horatio." Calleigh groaned. She couldn't help but moan as he thrust each thrust harder than the last. Pushing her up against the wall further and further as she dug her nails into his back making him hiss in pure pleasure. "Horatio….Horatio…..Ohhhhh…..ohhhhhh."

"Uhhhh…..Calleigh." He growled into her neck. He let his hands grab her under knees to push them further up which caused them both to moan at the new angle which caused him to go deeper and hit that special spot within her. "Shit." Horatio muttered under his breath.

Calleigh thrashed her head and began moaning loudly as Horatio took her hard and fast against the wall. She gasped and stiffened as she felt another orgasm approaching. "Horatio…..Horatio…..Ohhhh….Horat-AHHHHHHHHHH HORATIOOOOOOO!" She screamed.

Horatio continued to pump inside of her as she screamed his name and with three more thrusts he joined her in pure bliss. He buried his face into her neck and growled her name over and over again. They both moved in slow motion kissing and touching one another as their orgasms subsided. Horatio slowly let her legs fall to the ground and gently picked her up bridal style to carry her to the bedroom. He placed her on the bed gently before lying next to her and bringing her close to him. He kissed her forehead and rubbed her back gently. "I'm sorry….I didn't meant to be….so rough. Are you okay? Did I hurt you?"

Calleigh laughed. "Horatio…..that was amazing." Calleigh kissed his chest and snuggled closer to him. "Every time we make love is amazing."

Horatio smiled and kissed her forehead. "Mmmm…yes it is, beautiful."

"I can't lose you either, Horatio." Calleigh said looking up into his beautiful blue eyes. "I promise that I'll be more cautious…..but I'm not going to stop working."

Horatio nodded. "I understand…..that's one of the many reasons I love you." He stroked a few blonde locks off her face.

Calleigh grinned and tried to stifle her yawn. "Excuse me…..you wore me out handsome."

Horatio chuckled. "Mmm….can I wear you out some more?"

Calleigh giggled. "You are so bad."

Horatio laughed as he rolled on top of her. "Sweetheart….let me show you….how bad I can be."

Calleigh laughed whole heartedly. "Nuh uh, handsome…..I believe you are….we have work tomorrow if you haven't….um…haven't forgotten." Calleigh said breathlessly as Horatio began kissing her neck and chin.

"Mhmmm…..you…don't seem….to…to be…complaining." Horatio said in between kisses.

"Oh my God…..handsome. You're driving me crazy."

Horatio growled. "You drive me crazy."

They made love two more times that night before they both collapsed in pure exhaustion. Although Horatio felt tired he couldn't go to sleep, and he knew what had him on the edge. He looked down at Calleigh's beautiful face and smiled as he watched her sleep. He promised right then and there that he would do anything to keep her safe. He loved her so much and he knew Miles Turner was coming for him. Calleigh's steady breathing was calming enough to help him get to sleep. He closed his eyes with a smiled praying to God that one day Calleigh would want more with him, because Horatio knew he wanted more with Calleigh. He wanted everything that he could possibly have with her.

Calleigh's eyes fluttered opened to the rays of sunlight shining through the curtains of Horatio's bedroom. She smiled and breathed in the smell of Horatio Caine; she loved the way he smelled. She slowly shifted so she could get a good look at his sleeping form. He looked so peaceful and beautiful as he slept. She grinned at the sight of his hair all over his forehead. No one hardly ever saw Horatio's hair out of place. He always looked so sharp and professional at the lab. Calleigh loved getting to see this side of him. She slowly started brushing back hairs off his face, but stopped her hand in midair when Horatio moved slightly in his sleep. She watched as he went back into a deep slumber before letting her hand travel down to his red chest hair. She heard him moan as she ran her fingers through it, and she smiled when she saw his blue eyes staring back at her. "Good morning."

"Mmmm….ditto." Horatio chuckled.

Calleigh smiled. "I love waking up to you…..I love going to sleep next you."

Horatio gave her a sincere smile after hearing her kind words. "Sweetheart…..you bring me nothing….nothing but pure joy and happiness. Calleigh, you are everything I have ever wanted…..and so much more."

Calleigh blinked back tears and kissed his lips. "Wow, handsome….you sure know how to make a girl cry happy tears."

Horatio chuckled and stroked her face. "Mmmm….as long they are tears of joy."

The alarm clock went off indicating it was time to get up and start a new day. Calleigh sighed in frustration. "I don't wanna get up."

Horatio reached over behind him to turn the alarm clock off and turned back to Calleigh. "Mmmm…you know….you could stay."

Calleigh looked over at him and smirked. "We had this conversation, handsome. I'm going to work….I just don't feel like leaving your arms."

"Mmm….ditto." They both laughed and started getting ready.

As Horatio was taking his shower, Calleigh made breakfast for the both of them, ate breakfast, got dressed as Horatio ate, and both headed out the door to work. Horatio already informed Eric and Frank about the events that occurred last night at Calleigh's house. So, the two of them were over there now looking for any sign of evidence on how the fire started and if it was who they all thought it was. Calleigh and Horatio were both quiet on the way to MDPD. Both had so many questions running through their heads. Once they arrived at MDPD, they both went their separate ways to try to come up with any new leads.

In the ballistics lab, Calleigh was busy with researching more information on Hank Kerner's and Miles Turner's criminals backgrounds. She didn't hear or notice that Hagen had appeared in the doorway until he cleared his throat.

"Whatever it is just leave it on my desk...I'll uh look at it in a second." Calleigh said whilst she continued researching on her computer.

"Is that all you're going to give me...a second?" Hagen smiled.

Calleigh whipped herself around in her chair to see Hagen leaning against the door frame. "John...um...sorry I'm really busy. Is there something I could do for you?" Calleigh really didn't feel like dealing with him today. After what he did to her the other day, she was really trying her best to avoid him and to also not let Horatio catch them talking again.

John sighed and looked down. "I...I just wanted to apologize about the other day. I'm just really having a hard time letting you go. But um...I'm sorry."

Calleigh nodded slowly. "Okay, I appreciate you apologizing...but I have to get back to work."

John whistled. "I'm trying to have a conversation here, Calleigh."

"Well...we're at work, John. What do you want me to say?" Calleigh in frustration. "We broke up...I moved on. It's time for you to do the same."

John took a few steps closer to her which made Calleigh stand up out of her chair. John stopped moving and stood with his hands in his pockets. "What if I'm not ready to move on? What if I choose not to let you go, Cal?"

Calleigh stared at him without blinking. "Then maybe you should remember what I do for a living?"

John frowned and sighed. "Are you threatening me?"

"Take it as you may, John...but I remember the events that happened just the other day. I'm pretty sure you started throwing out threats...cursing and almost harassing someone on their job. So, I suggest you walk back out of my lab before you get to see how I can use my profession very well...and yes that was a threat!" Calleigh said.

John shook his head. "I know you miss me, Cal...what we had was amazing."

"No, John...what we had was one month of craziness. I need you to leave because I have work to do." Calleigh said. She stood there staring back at him as he stared back at her. At first, she thought she was going to have to call security or Horatio, but after what seemed like forever John slowly walked out of her lab. Calleigh let out a breath that she never knew she was holding. She shook her head and sat down in her chair whilst rubbing her temples. She didn't know what to do about John anymore. The man just couldn't get it through his head that she didn't want him in that way anymore. She shook her head and sighed deciding to let it go so she could get back to work. After about an hour, Calleigh discovered that Miles and Hank were both at the same halfway house in Tampa six months before they both were released. She printed the information out and headed to Horatio's office. She stopped dead in her tracks when she saw a very frustrated Stetler exiting Horatio's office with the Chief behind him. She watched as Stetler took quick strides over to the elevator whilst the Chief stayed behind to chat with Horatio a little longer. She waited for the Chief to leave before walking up the stairs to Horatio's office and knocking on the door.

"Hey," She said peeping her head in. "So, I see you finally got in touch with Stetler."

"Mhmmm...let's just say...that he...he won't be around our lab for a while." Horatio smirked.

Calleigh's eyes widened. "Wow...did he get fired?"

Horatio chuckled sarcastically. "I wish...but no...suspended without pay."

Calleigh snorted. "Well...he had that coming...look what I found." She placed the information on Kerner and Turner on his desk. "It turns out that Miles...and Hank were both placed in the same Halfway house down in Tampa just six months before the initial release on their sentences."

"Mmmm...which would explain...how they both could possibly be involved in all of this." Horatio said. "Have you called the halfway house yet?"

"No, I figured you might want to do that." Calleigh smiled. "Plus, I am taking your advice...I am taking precautions on this case and not involving myself as much."

Horatio smiled a sincere smile. "Thank you...I really wouldn't be able to concentrate if something happened to you."

"I know...ditto."

Horatio grinned. "Okay, so...I...I will call the halfway house to get more information and let you know...what I find, okay?"

"Okay...also did Eric and Frank find anything?"

Horatio sighed whilst rubbing his forehead. "Believe it or not...no. However, I'm thinking of going there myself again...maybe we can all go as a team to have extra pairs of eyes. Plus, if you're there...you could tell us if anything looks different to you."

Calleigh nodded. "Okay, sounds like a plan...I'll be in the break room if you need me."

"Alright."

"Abby...Abigail Harper...don't you dare step in that mud with those new shoes!" Danielle said to her daughter.

"I won't." Abby grinned. Abby continued to play and run outside being sure to stay close to her mother like she asked. She twirled, jumped, and chases bugs in her backyard before noticing a man approaching her gate. She gasped and stared at the man before running to her mother.

Danielle took off her gardening gloves and looked down at her daughter to see what was wrong. She looked over in the direction to where Abby was pointing and saw nothing but trees. "Abby, sweetie...what's wrong?" She asked whilst crouching down to her daughters eye level.

"Mommy...there was a man over there."

Danielle looked over back to where Abby was pointing and shook her head. "Abby, Honey...there's no one there. It may have just been the mail man...I'm going to go start making lunch. Pick your toys up and meet me inside the house so we can have lunch, okay?" She kissed her forehead before leaving to go inside the house.

Abby began picking up her toys and putting them back in her little outside toy box. Suddenly she heard a noise and she looked up, but didn't see anything so she went back to cleaning up. When she was done she stood up and turned around but everything went black. She tried to scream but no sound came out. Danielle closed the fridge door and frowned when she realized Abby still hadn't come back in side yet. "Abby, did you finish cleaning up...Abby?" She walked outside and looked around the backyard only to find no Abby. "Abby this isn't funny."

"Abby come on." She said while peeping her head into her playhouse to see if she was hiding, but she saw no Abby. "Abigail...Abby!" Danielle's heart began pounding as she realized Abby wasn't in the backyard. She ran inside the house and looked in each room frantically before searching the front yard. "No...no...ABBY!"

Poor little Abby :(...sorry for the cliffhanger but I won't leave you hanging for too long!
