Following last night's intrusion, Keima awoke to a cheerful and eccentric Elsie.

"Good Morning Kami-nii!"

"Elsie, morning." Keima yawned when noticing Elsie seemed to be a bit...too happy.

"Elsie are you...alright?"

"Of course! Just excited for uhh..." Elsie put a finger on her chin and jumped up. "Band practice! Yeah band practice!"

Keima of course didn't fall for this, only times Elsie would come in and intrude would be if she wasn't completely sure of something and needed an valid answer. But now she had just came in and acted cheerful not hinting at anything.

Well he had thought...

"Why are you here Elsie." Keima put on his glasses. "Obviously you aren't here to get an answer from me."

"W-What does that mean?"

"It means to tell me what is going on? What are you hiding?"

Elsie's eyes changed direction quickly instantly giving Keima the answer to Elsie's approach.

"Elsie..."

"Y-Yes? Hehe...?" Elsie chuckled to herself, before noting that Keima hadn't fell for it at all. At that instantly Elsie backed slowly away from Keima, before finally hitting the door and running out.

There and right then, Keima hopped out of bed and chased after Elsie downstairs. Before scenting something really tasty being made downstairs. Of course Keima thought it was Mari cooking but the scent had a unique smell, a unique smell of miso soup, riceballs and teriyaki. It could only mean one person.

As he trailed down the stairs, he examined the kitchen. There it was empty, minus the bowls of miso soup, rice, teriyaki and even some tofu. Giving his stomach a loud growl.

Keima did admit this food did look good and he did want to eat quickly as possible but first he had to know who had cooked it.

"Elsie!?" He called. "Did you make this?" Dare he would say that when knowing Elsie wasn't the best chef in the world. Though he had to admit the smell was something else as it came closer and even more genuine once it had entered his nose constantly. At that point Keima had decided that superior god's like him had to be fed every once in a while even if it was caused by eating a bowl of possibly somebody else's food.

Besides, there was three bowls so who possibly could they be for?

At that, Keima striked off towards a bowl of paradise as he thought while eating a bowl of riceballs, tofu and miso soup. The taste of every serving of each was at a cooking level to exquisite to be in any dating sim he's ever played, however the riceballs he found to be the best and familiar.

Don't get him wrong it was good, yet at the same time he felt a feeling of remembrance and a feeling of vomit.

Keima took one more bite of the riceball and examined it.

"This texture, taste and most importantly the amount of time that It took to create this is too close too..."

"Hey!"

Keima paused and glanced towards the direction of a certain purple haired demon.

"What do you think your eating?"

Keima took another bite of the riceball. "A riceball."

"No that was...!"

Keima coughed shortly after taking that bite a second ago. "This riceball taste's so bad now."

Haqua just growled and grabbed the riceball from his grasp.

"Then why would you place your mouth onto something you hate?" She spoke trying to tear off the part Keima had bitten without touching it of course.

"Cause I'm hungry. And when a god is hungry!" He hopped onto the dining table putting his hands on his hips. "He will take anything without question!"

"You baka!" Haqua yelled grabbing him with her scythe as always. "Actually think about who and why had maybe put the time and work into stuff like this!"

"This?" Keima pointed to the half-eaten riceball on the counter. "You mean this garbage? You actually put in all that time for that? Cause I can assure you, a riceball of that quality isn't worth ranting about since you only put half a second into creating them."

"But everything is else is decent. And that is a god's judgment, so be grateful." Keima casually spoke leaving a steaming Haqua glancing at him.

Usually Haqua was about to scream at him some more, but instead an idea had hit her.

"Hmph, you think you can make better?"

"Think?" Keima replied. "I can. I've already mastered cooking level 10 in A Chef's Disciple." Referring to one of his cooking game conquests. "If I can master making a simple pastry on a game too only take that knowledge in reality!"

"I'd be five times the cook you are!" Keima childishly stuck a tongue out.

Haqua scoffed at his remark. "Prove it then."

"I will!"

"Then cook something, right now."

"Alright I will! But first i need my cookbook!" Keima pulled his PFP from his pocket and turned it on. "Watch the magical creations I will make with this!"

Haqua sighed. "So this is your motivation?"

"Yep!" Keima bashed each button with insane speed before coming to a swift stop.

Haqua continued her eternal sighs. "You have until 6'o clock tonight to show me your dish, if your not done by then, guess i'll take it as a failed conquest of mastering the skill of cooking."

"You'll be eating those words, oh wait no you won't. But instead you will be eating my delectable dish of a true gods victory!" Keima shouted in triumph, even though nothing had moved at all yet.

"Sure, just don't give up when you come to your senses." Haqua spoke leaving as Keima stood there glancing over his magical recipes.

Once she had departed, Keima rummaged through recipe and recipe.

"Strawberry Cream Surprise, Sweet Delight, Octupus Stew, Red Yak Suprise. Why isn't there anything that can't be made in reality? Isn't this based off of an actual chef's deciple!"

As Keima went on endlessly, a nervous Elsie peeked through a cabinet under the sink.

"K-Kami nii-sama...?"

"Elsie!" He shouted causing her to jump in surprise.

"Ouchh...!" Elsie rubbed the bump on her head, crying in pain.

"Elsie, you know some of Haqua's recipes don't you?"

"Y-Yeah...why?" She groaned.

"I would like you too teach me!"

"Ehh!" She jumped in happiness. "You really do!"

"This is no joking matter Elsie! Show me the recipes she had taught you!"

"Yes sir!"

With that Elsie used her hagoromo and in an instant cooking materials and strange ingredients had been scattered from the floor to the counter.

"Let's get cooking!"

It was around 2pm when Haqua had finally came home, reason? She had really just wondered around Majima City for a while thinking about her's truly. Plus she knew that she could smoke Keima in this little cooking contest, so that was basically another excuse.

Then again, what would happen if Keima did actually beat her?

It was only a thought that forced Haqua to at least do something more then only presume she'd win. But he also had Elsie, yeah she was a bad cook but as long as Haqua had made her try. That was at least to get her going.

Haqua continued in drastic thought, yet just too play it safe, she did cook up some food.

Was it exquisite? Would it be something to actually force Keima's defeat? Or will somehow the god would surpass her superior skill?

Of course there was only one way too find out, and that would be once the two showdown. However Haqua felt a funny feeling when thinking over this. The feeling was a feeling of distress in the best way she could describe it. Her heart beated throughout the whole process of cooking her entry.

Was she actually...scared? Of losing to Keima? Why would she in the first place? They were in love and it at the same time it does make sense that she would try want to please Keima yet at the same time she knew he wasn't an actual god he was just the average human boy interested in dating sims. But he wasn't average there was that one thing in him that Haqua loved and she was now learning what he was.

Someone who had made the most of something he knew he couldn't be.

Yeah it sounded sad, but It made perfect sense to Haqua.

Soon after her long thoughtful cooking session, a knock was heard on the door. She walked over towards the door and opened it.

"Hi..." A familiar face spoke shyly.

"Oh...Shiori, isn't it?" Haqua replied.

Shiori nodded slowly in acknowledgment.

"So what can I do?"

Shiori stared at Haqua for a long moment not saying anything but nimble noises. "H-How is...Keima?"

"He's doing fine, just preoccupied with some...business." She said hinting about the two's relationship.

"That's great, but I came here if you can." Shiori grabbed something out from the satchel on her shoulder, it came to be the shape of a book titled. "Game of Gods"

"I'm not sure if he'd like it, but from what I read. This book certainly feels like it would be his type."

Haqua examined the cover and smiled. "I'm sure Katsuragi will enjoy this, after all he does talk about gods and most of all his games."

"Sounds...good." Shiori responded with a smile. "I also apologize for not being at the mall...i."

"My nerves got to me."

"Oh that fine." Haqua answered. "If you want I can ask Katsuragi to come to you, that is if he's not occupied with anything."

Shiori nodded and turned away in goodbye.

It did make Haqua feel a little funny how she had just appeared on the doorway just to give Keima something and leave in a flash. However Shiori did keep to herself a lot and for that Haqua guessed it was perfectly fine that she visit or talk to Keima.

Back in the house, Haqua checked the time.

It was 3:15pm.

With that she looked around for something to do before coming short towards that book Shiori had told her to give to Keima.

Obviously there can't be wrong reading something that is actually a gift to someone else.

Is there?

"Finished!"

Keima panted wiping the sweat from his forehead and the heat from his PFP.

He stared at his grand dish, as it came out to be something 5x what Elsie could cook, from his opinion.

But in the end he knew a god's opinion isn't no where as close as it is towards a goddesses opinion. He really didn't want to think of Haqua as that, but she had contributed to a lot of conquests so why shouldn't she be one?

Then it hit Keima when glancing at Elsie, shouldn't she be a goddess too?

"No, no." He thought silently "She's just a demon from below, she can't be a goddess." Then again Haqua was a demon, yet he called her a goddess. Speaking of which Diana was a goddess, so technically he couldn't call Haqua that.

Keima just sighed to himself at that thought when wanting to find a nickname for Haqua when a knocking from the door got his attention.

"Come in!"

The door opened with the figure of the devil he thought about.

"Hey." Haqua greeted lowly. "How's the cooking?"

"So far it's been pretty decent." Keima answered slowly.

"Pretty decent? Seems obstacles might've gotten in the way, what happened?"

"Nothing happened I promise." Keima hinted exhaustion from the tone of his voice.

"Sure? If you want I can help you..." Before Haqua walked over to the dish on the table Keima quickly shielded it.

"I-I promise you nothing went wrong!"

Haqua raised a brow, moving Keima out of the way "Then just let me see it, if it's that bad don't worry it was your first..."

At sight of the dish Keima created, it was something too good to be true.

It was a seafood platter of grilled shrimp, sushi rolls and as the main course.

Octupus, cooked and diced to perfection.

The whole meal seemed to sparkle throughout the kitchen lights. That and the smell was starting to cause Haqua to collapse in hunger.

"T-This...this is...h-how?" She stammered out of control.

"I did!" Elsie came from the stairs.

"Elsie gave me the cookbook you used to cook that breakfast this morning. The rest me and Elsie both cooked together."

"You both!?"

The two nodded.

"Wow...this is really..."

"Haqua what did you make?" Keima glared at Haqua's empty hands.

"Oh...i must've forgot."

Keima laid a hand on her shoulder. "Keep it for yourself, you've done too much."

Haqua's eyes widened. "W-What? Katusragi...what happened?"

"Are you feeling well?" Keima gained her attention.

"Y-Yes. I'm sorry I'm not used to you doing all of this, it's just too much to take in." Haqua shook her head and smiled. "Now can we eat?"

"So you just admitted defeat?"

"Huh?"

"If all of this is too much to take in, as well as leaving your food at home. You, you..."

"Surrendered!" Keima pointed his finger at Haqua giving her a look of confusion.

"W-What...? What do you mean by...?"

"Are you in denial woman? You have just waved the white flag of defeat straight in my face, don't you try and pull a fast one on the one and only God of Conquest!"

Haqua's face reddened in anger and embarrassment. "Yeah, yeah! So what if I forgot about everything, it's not like your any better bragging this to me. Can we just eat already?"

"Ah!" Keima held a hand up. "Before we eat, you must state that I Keima Katsuragi have beaten you fair and square in this bet!"

"What if I say no?"

"Then you basically again you have surrendered, knowing you cannot accept the taste of defeat."

A low growl was heard from both Haqua's stomach and mouth either being from hunger or anger.

"Oh fine! You win happy!?"

Keima smirked. "Now you may dig in."

Haqua shook her head at Keima and picked up a shrimp with a fork. Soon as she took her first bite, her tongue nearly dropped onto the kitchen table. The taste of the shrimp was horrid, worse then eating out of the garbage itself, heck even the waste from an animal. It was something Haqua had never wanted too eat in all of her hundred years of life.

"Haqua...?" Elsie questioned when spotting Haqua's reaction.

Her face turned green looking as if she was going to barf and at the same time her body leaned left and right as if she was going to faint anytime soon.

"Elsie!" Keima yelled. "What happened!?"

"I'm sorry Kami-nii! The spell probably sacrifices taste for appearance!"

Soon after that, Haqua's world around her seemed to darken. All she could see is Keima trying to grab a hold of Haqua to balance her and Elsie's mouth moving words that she couldn't make out.

Darkness, the sight of pitch black was all she could see...

"Huh?"

Haqua woke up and examined the world around her.

All she saw was a room pitch black, except for a visible object that had numbers light up in neon green.

The object read, 3:46 AM

"What...?"

A massive headache came before anything could be said, Haqua put a hand on her forehead feeling a cold icepack. As well as the feeling of someone laying on her stomach. She moved her hand downwards, feeling a certain god's soft and shaggy hair.

Haqua at first kept moving her hand around thinking it was something else, that is before noticing a sparkle of light flash through the window on towards a pair of glasses on a nearby dresser. She smiled at that even though she had really felt like she was going to vomit, still tasting that putrid dish of disaster.

But in the end, if she hadn't tasted that dish, and if she didn't go unconscious.

Sure, she would've been fine. She would've walked out healthy as a horse, unharmed and happy.

Though true happiness, is being with those she loved.

And knowing that Keima not taking her home and putting her in her bed, but instead letting her sleep with him even if she was at the risk of food poisoning and Keima being possibly vomited on had to say something, something more than true love.

Hence, Haqua placed her lips on Keima's forehead, and hugged him towards her chest.

That night Haqua slept not like an angel, but as a goddess.

So what if she was a demon? That didn't stop Haqua from at least dreaming.
