~ WAIT FOR ME ~

A SasuHina tragedy and one-shot.

Summary: Sasuke leaves for revenge. Four years went by since he has last seen his love Hinata. He decides to go and see her, but will he make it in time ? Or will Ambu find him before his destination ?

WARNING: I took the story from the ending of Final Fantasy VII : Crisis Core. I thought it was reaally good even though it was sad. So, ENJOY !

Sasuke dialed Hinata's number.

"- Hello ?

- Oh, hey Hinata.

- Sasuke ?

- Yeah. Um...listen, I gotta go. Call you later okay ?

- No, no. You don't have to.

- Okay then. I'll come visit as soon as I can. Later !

- Bye...

Sasuke Uchiha was in his own mission in order to kill his older brother Itachi Uchiha. It has been hard for him to track him down since Ambu and Naruto were on his heels. He learned from rumors that the 5th Hokage sent the Ambu to finish him off. And Naruto...well, he wanted him to go back to Konohagokure.

Psssh. He couldn't care less if people thought that he was a traitor, a fugitive, a missing nin S-class or whatever they thought he was. He didn't care about anyone's thoughts exept for hers. The Hyuuga heiress's who had won his heart. The sweetest, prettiest, smartes, most angelic, innocent and most wonderful girl he ever met in the five countries. The one and only he will ever love.

4 Years later...

The raven haired guy finally had his revenge. He had killed his brother after all these long years. To his suprise, he wasn't happy as he thought he would have expected to be. He felt indifferent in some way and sad in an other. Madara had told him everything. From the beggining of his clan's massacre.

Sasuke shoved his hands in his pockets. Underneath his fingers, he felt a piece of paper. Probably was Itachi who had slipped it in beofre his death. The Uchiha unfolded the paper and read

Dear Sasuke, it has already been four years since I've had news from you. Some say you are dead, some think that you've retreated to a forgotten place. Will I ever get to see you again ? This is the 99th letter I'm writing to you; and the last one. I hope this letter at least gets to your hands.

~Hinata~

- It already has been four years ? Please Hinata...Hang in there. Please Wait for me...

Sasuke traveled as fast as he could. Jumping up and down tree branches with all his energy. He was going to see Hinata. At least HE thought he would...

After days of traveling, he was a few places away from Konohagokura. Until...Ambu found him.

He got surrounded by ninjas from everywhere. The raven haired guy or more like man now prepared for battle. Taking out his katana, placing it in front of his forehead.

- For my love, my clan and honor... he whispered

The fight was bloody, with dead bodies falling here and there. The ninjas wouldn't stop appearing and they looked like if they would never stop coming.

This would be IT. His final battle, even though it was too soon. Only three ninjas remained alive, but he was too weak now. A katana pierced his chest. Then an other one went throught his heart. It was over. Not the end he wanted. He wanted to end his life by Hinata's side.

The Uchiha's body fell on the ground with a loud THUMP. his face covered in tears, because...because he never managed to tell HER that he loved her. He had failed. Not failed to anyone but her. He had promised and he failed.
