Chapter 6

"We should probably go talk to them now," whispered Logan.

"In a minute," murmured Quinn, from where her head was resting on Logan's shoulder.

"It's been thirty minutes," answered Logan.

"I don't care it's peaceful," whispered Quinn, against his neck.

"One more kiss then we have to go over," answered Logan, leaning down.

"Now?" asked Quinn.

"Yes now we go," smiled Logan.

Quinn looked very apprehensive and Logan took her hand.

"Hey what ever happens I am with you one hundred percent. I'm in this for the long haul," smiled Logan, as he kissed the hand that was connected with his.

"I know that with the key and the promise ring," smiled Quinn.

"Come on then," said Logan.

Quinn nodded and they moved forward just as they got the blankets. Logan stopped, he stopped and he dropped Quinn's hand. She gave him a confused look as he turned and jogged back to where they had just been stood. She watched him as he picked up the key and box she had just dropped and watched him jog back to them before taking her hand once more.

"Is that a ring box?" asked Zoey.

"Promise rings," answered Logan, flashing his hand.

The sight of promise rings immediately sobered up the groups mood. This was serious. A very serious relationship.

"This is serious?" asked Zoey.

"Very," said Quinn.

"How serious?" asked Lola.

"Promise ring, going to college living together in September serious," answered Logan, as he lay down one arm behind his head the other pulling Quinn against him.

"So how did this happen?" asked Zoey.

Smiling in the sunshine Quinn and Logan recounted the story from their very first kiss.

Their friends knew, they were happy and the future was very bright.
