AH YES! Finally, the ending to Accidental Kisses and the Fact That Girls Like Being Girls. I have procrastinated so bad on this and I don't really know why. Please enjoy!

The next week or so went by the same. Wally would find himself alone in a room, Dani would strut in looking fabulous, "unintentionally" seduce him and walk out. Leaving him to question his sanity. He didn't know why Dani's suggestive advances towards him made such a huge impact. He had, in fact, said she was 'just one of the guys'. And he had never really thought of her as something other than his bestfriend.

The only time Dani was perceived as even the slightest bit more than a friend, before her seduction scenes (as he called it), was when she first started hitting puberty and started developing sharper facial structures and a body. He felt different around her. It was like he had to look a little bit better, use better manners, stand a little taller- be a better version of himself. But through time that feeling began to fade and he slumped back into his normal Wally West state of mind. But lately, he found those same conditions beginning to rise again, even more so. Until he finally began to realize that he had feelings for Dani. Granted, they were entirely new feelings and he didn't know what to do with them.

Wally was lounging around doing nothing, as always, when Dani practically floated into the room. It didn't seem like she was trying because she was suited up but something about the way she held herself screamed 'notice me'. Wally's eyes followed her all the way across the room to where she stopped in the kitchen. He watched the way her hand curved around the fridge handle and how she left the door open so she could easily put whatever drink back and he grinned to himself as a few droplets of liquid hit the counter and she wiped the excess with her hand and shook it off. And in that moment he wanted nothing more than to run up to her and hug her tightly.

"Uh, Wally?" He nearly melted on the spot at the questioning tone in her voice. It made her sound so innocent when in reality, between kicking serious ass and being a teen, she was anything but. Wally quickly snapped out of it a nodded towards her. "Did you want something?" she asked

Maybe it was the speedster's impulsive ways or maybe his balls made a dramatic drop or maybe he was just feeling extra stupid, whatever it was Wally suddenly found himself in the kitchen trying to well...

"Soooo, Dani. Dan-irina. Dan-fest. Danabelle. Da-"

"Wally, please do me a favor and just say what you have to say."

"So, uh. You're a girl right?"

"Last time I checked, yes."

"And I'm a boy..."

"That's a debatable matter."

"Ha, ha. Good one Dani-roo!" Wally cleared his throat and plucked up every last bit of courage he had left. It was too late to turn back, "Yeah, so, I've got this coupon, right, to that fancy Italian place by Wayne Tech where the girls dress all girly and the guys dress all gentlemen-y and I need to use it before it expires and I don't wanna go alone so I was wondering if, maybe, you'd like to go with me?" he finished the run-on sentence as a question and looked to see the girl wonder's reaction.

Dani looked at the ground and stayed quiet for a moment. Suddenly her lips curved into a smile but the smile slowly vanished, "Honestly, Wally, I'd love to but I don't know. I mean we're on a team together and one thing the Bats always taught me is that getting involved with your teammate doesn't always work out in your favor..."

Wally felt a little piece of his heart crumple. How could he be so stupid? Of course she wouldn't want him. Dani always did what Batman told her.

"Oh, right. Uh well, sorry. For asking?" Wally tried to keep from frowning but he couldn't help the corners of his mouth that involuntarily tilted downwards.

"Um, I never said no. I only said that's what I was taught, I didn't say I was gonna abide by that rule. Of course I'll go to that stupid restaurant with you." Dani smirked and rolled her eyes playfully

Wally's mood brightened up immediately, "Great so, uh, I guess I'll get you from here at 7:00 on Friday?"

"Actually, I'll meet you there. I've got a thing for school right before so I'll be a few minutes late." she smiled sweetly and walked away, patting Wally on the back as she left.

Friday rolled around and Wally was feeling good about himself. He adjusted the collar on his white polo, made sure it was tucked into his freshly ironed khaki pants and shined his black dress shoes before he left the house. Wally arrived at the restaurant at exactly 7:00 and was shown to his table by a very nice blonde hostess.

He sat alone and sipped his water, watching the door for Dani to walk through. A man walked in dressed in baggy clothes, pants sagging low enough for you to see his basketball shorts underneath and a Chicago Bulls SnapBack. Wally shook his head, if you're gonna dress like a fool do it someplace where it's allowed, not in a classy restaurant. The man was almost not let in but he bent in and whispered something to the hostess who nodded and let him through pointing him to... Wally's table?

This couldn't be right. Wally had no idea who this person was let alone how they knew him. Nonetheless, the man sat down before him and smiled. And thats when Wally realized he did know this man, in fact it wasn't a man at all, it was Dani.

"Dani?" Wally questioned, his voice stripped of all other emotions except confusion

"Yes?" She giggled back with that mischievous twinkle in her eye

"What the hell is this? Why are you dressed like that?" Wally asked scraping his brain for an answer

"I don't see what the problem is." Dani spoke calmly, "After all, you were the one who said I was 'just one of the guys.'"

And that's when it became clear to the speedster that she hadn't just spontaneously decided to forgive him. She was plotting all along, trying to exact her revenge for his slip up. He was embarrassed, a little angry, and, frankly, heart broken. He had actually believed that she liked him. Wally truly did like Dani and it was making him sad to find out that this whole time he was catching feelings for her, she was only acting to get payback.

"What are you gonna get?" Dani laughed, "The chicken marsala looks good."

"This whole time you were..." Wally trailed off with with a sad tone in his voice that Dani definitely caught

"What's wrong." her laughter and smiles subsided and were traded in for a stern and apologetic look, "This whole time I what?"

"Nothing."

"God Wally! I'm trying to get even with you! Don't go and try to make me feel bad! If don't tell me what is bothering you I swear I will-"

Dani's voice droned on as anger became a settled feeling inside of Wally. He felt like a fool. Like he'd been played over. Like his feelings were something to be joked about and Wally never thought feelings were joke- unless you were talking about a ravenous villain. Villain's almost never had real feelings or a conscience.

"All you ever want to do is get even! There's no such thing as messing up in your perfect world! Well guess what, Dani? I'm not part of your world and neither is anyone else! I'm not perfect and I never will be and I always make mistakes! I say things I don't mean and regret them immediately! You know, this whole time you were playing this game I was actually being affected and happen to actually like you! Something I'm starting to second guess. If what you wanted was to get even then congratulations! You did it! But you also hurt me, one of your closest friends in the process." Wally fished through his wallet and threw thirty dollars down on the table. "Enjoy your meal." he walked away from a dumbfounded Dani and out of the restaurant.

He went straight to The Cave where he changed into more comfortable civies and sat in front of the television watching bad reality tv shows. He heard the Zeta Beams announce the entrance of Dani and raised the volume a little more. He listened to her footsteps get closer and closer until she was sitting beside him quietly dressed in her own civies.

Wally glanced at her and took the liberty to speak first, "Look, I know I was a little harsh back there but that doesn't mean I'm just gonna forgi-"

Wally was interrupted by the feeling of a soft kiss to his lips. And this time it was no question who kissed who. His eyebrows were raised and all he could say was "Whaa?"

Dani was blushing but she spoke clearly, "Ok. My turn to rant. I'm the one who had an unrequited crush on you first so don't give me anymore heart broken, one sided love bullshit. When we had that little incident where we kissed I was extremely embarrassed. And then you were like," Dani tried imitating Wally but sounded more like one of the three stooges, "'oh she's just one of the guys hardy har.' and then I got really insecure and embarassed and I literally came up with that plan in a matter of like five seconds and I never thought you'd actually like me back and I feel like and ass and I'm honestly sor-"

Wally cut her off this time with his own kiss. His lasted a few seconds longer but it was just as sweet. "It's okay. I promise."

Dani nodded and then smirked holding her hand out. "Truce?" she asked playfully

Wally grabbed her hand and pulled her close enough so that their noses were almost touching. "Truce." and he pulled her in for one last kiss before she laid her head on his chest and they fell asleep with the sound of trashy reality tv in the background.
