I walked into the door to find my mom with a plate of cookies and a cup of tea. By the look of the tea, she was shaking pretty bad due to the fact it kept trying to splash out. "Is everything okay?" I asked, tilting my head.

"We have visitors." Prim said before I realized two mend ressed in black was here.

"Right this way…" One of them said,

I followed them through my house until we came to a room upstairs. I stepped in and realized I wasn't alone the second I shut the door.

"Katniss Everdeen… The Girl On Fire."

The voice was rough. It frightened me horribly because I knew who's voice it was, but I didn't want it to actually be him.

"President Snow?" I said quietly.

The voice confirmed my fears. "The one and only." He said. "Take a seat, Miss Everdeen."

I turned around and bit my lip. There was little evidence that this was even my room. It looked too professional now that Snow was sitting in it. "Yes, sir?" I said as I took a seat.

He took a drink from his mug, "I wanted to ask you about your…. cousin…."

I blinked. He was the only person other than my family and Gale's that would know Gale is no way near related to me. "What about him?"

The president smirked, "I wanted to ask you what happened in the woods a couple days ago…."

He knows about the woods?

Shit.

He knows about the woods… and what happened in the woods…

My heart began to race. What else did he know? Snow sat back in his chair, obviously enjoying my horror, "You two put on a great show for me…"

I want to lash out at him. Snow's nothing but a sadistic pervert now that he's said that. I believe the rumors about him forcing victors to sell themselves to Capitol citizens. Disgusting.

"I have no idea what you're talking about." I said, trying to sound honest. He just shakes his head,

"You're beginning to spark rebellions everywhere. Your little stunt you pulled with Mellark seemed real, but trust me…. I think we both know the truth." Snow stood up, picked his mug up, and started walking for the door.

I asked, trying to keep calm, "What do you want me to do about it?"

"Convince me." He said, tossing me a white rose, walking out, and shutting the door.
