** I've honestly jut been so uninspired lately. I'm always apologizing for something. I really need to get back into True Blood. I'm all about Sons of Anarchy again, and it has my undivided attention these days. Super super sorry.

I had to step back and ask myself one simple question; WWLBD? What Would Lux Burrows Do?

Here I am...getting my drink on, with no real expectations. Lets see what happens, shall we?**

A few more weeks went by, and Lux was falling into a steady routine; wake up, go for a run, oatmeal for breakfast, shower, head to work, go home, nap, dinner with the girls and then back to sleep to start all over again in the morning.

On the rare occasion that she actually had an entire day off, she would eat, sleep, eat, sleep...and maybe let her friends drag her out of the house. Oh this exciting life of hers.

Eric hadn't shown his face in quite a while, and she was both relieved and kinda bummed. Sure, he was a pushy ol' bastard...but she had gotten used to having that pushy ol' bastard around. I mean, let's be honest...he isn't exactly hard on the eyes, ya know?

"Hey, I'm heading out to Merlotte's to grab some dinner. Don't feel like cooking. Wanna come?"

Lux briefly looked up from her battered old copy of Animal Farm. She absolutely fell in love with the book back in high school; so much so that she kinda stole a copy when her teacher wasn't looking. No regrets.

"I'm reading."

"You could recite that entire book in your sleep, asshole. Come with meeee." Frankie stood in the doorway and just stared. She had a pout on her face and her arms swaying at her sides, and her feet were on the verge of stomping a hole through the floor.

"A hissy fit? Really? Are you five?"

"Maybe."

At the risk of not getting their deposit back ('that hole was definitely in the floor when we moved in, Honest.') and Lux being stuck in Bon Temps forever, she decided to get off her ass and out of her pajamas. George Orwell will still be there for her later.

She hadn't tormented Tessa in days, and that alone was reason enough to go.

"You're buying."

Frankie clapped her hands like a small excited child,

"Yay! Now go put in something cute. Let's find you a man."

"Let's not."

=.=.=.=.=.=

"Hey, can I get some more fries over here?"

Tessa didn't even look up from the table she was wiping down. The family of six that just left weren't exactly the neat and tidy type. Terrible tippers too. Figures.

"Can't you see I'm busy?"

"Can't you see i'm hungry?" Lux shook her empty fry basket, fighting back her usual grin at Tessas expense.

"I"m going to suffocate you in your sleep." Tessa grabbed the empty basket (wih a little more force than was probably necessary) and made her way back to the bar.

"Why do you do that stuff to her?" Frankie asked.

Lux shrugged her shoulders a bit, letting that grin finally take over her face.

"It tickles me."

*I don't have spellcheck in any form at the moment, and reading through this was terrifying. My apologies for any mistakes I missed. Another part coming in the next few days. I typed up two last night.*
