This story was inspired by when all Thrasher and Scapegrace found left of the zombie 'Reggie' was his foot. So I thought it might be funny if when all the other zombies were eaten their feet were left and were still walking (hopping?) around and found Valkyrie and Melancholia. Enjoy!

Valkyrie and Melancholia stumbled through the tunnels, panting heavily. Suddenly Valkyrie stopped. "Wait."

"What?" Melancholia looked up. She had seen better days.

"Do you hear that?"

"Hear what?"

"That… noise. I don't know what it is."

Melancholia listened for a few moments. "Oh, I hear it now. I sounds like… a herd of lions."

"Don't you mean a pride of lions?"

"Well whatever, a bunch of lions okay."

"And what would lions even be doing down here?"

"I don't know, maybe looking for something to eat?"

"I don't think they're lions Mel."

"A herd of squirrels then."

"Not squirrels either."

"Well what do you think it is then?"

"I think it's- FEET!"

"Feet? That's even crazier than my lion idea."

"No, I mean FEET!"

Melancholia turned around, saw the mass of feet running (or hopping?) at full speed towards them and ran.

The two girls began screaming and running down the large cavern as fast as they could, trying to get away from the feet that were still chasing them.

Meanwhile Skulduggery was looking around the caves trying to find his lost partner and the Ex-Death Bringer when he heard screaming that was gradually getting louder with each passing second.

He stepped out of the tunnel he was currently walking in and onto a ledge that over looked a cavern with high ceilings and a large open area.

The screaming was a lot clearer now and Skulduggery watched in amazement, as the two people he was trying to find were chased right past him by a herd of feet. Scapegrace and Thrasher right on their tail with Scapegrace yelling, "Zombie Horde get back here right now! I command you!"

The girls and accompanying feet and zombies disappeared down the tunnel, screaming slowly fading into silence.

A few moments later the screaming once again started up and the very odd parade went running past, disappearing the way they had come.

Suddenly they appeared again, this time Scapegrace and Thrasher screaming in terror with the girls as a group of Rat-Monkeys chased them once again past the Skeleton Detective.

Once the screams faded into again Skulduggery finally spoke. "Well, you don't see that every day."
