Hey guys! So this is it! The last chapter of this story! I promise I read all your reviews, but because this is my story, I went in the dirrection I felt was best. I hope you enjoy!

In recovery, Kate was exhausted, but happy as her two babies were placed in either arm. They were both extremely healthy for being early and could be released as soon as she was.

She had been out of surgery for about two hours and had just sent Rick to get a few members of the family to meet the babies.

As she heard them coming down the hall, she kissed each of the babies' heads.

"Get ready to meet your gram and big sister," Kate whispered, looking at both of them one last time before the family came in.

"How are you?" Alexis asked, coming in first and immediately going to Kate's side, staring at the two little bundles on either side of her stepmother.

"Fine," Kate said, "Great actually. Would you like to hold one of them?"

Alexis nodded as Rick came over and carefully placed one of the little babies in his oldest's arms. The baby squirmed a bit before letting out a sigh and going back to sleeping.

"What are their names?" Martha asked, taking the other baby after Kate gave her the go ahead.

"Well," Kate said, "Alexis is holding the older of the two, Kendall Johanna and Martha, you have our little peanut Brenna James."

"Two perfect little girls," Castle said, snapping pictures of his mother and daughter holding the babies, "And because Alexis' middle name is after you, mother, we decided that these two would be named after Kate's parents."

"That is so sweet," Alexis said, studying the little bundle in her arms, "How big are they? Kendall feels like holding nothing."

"Well," Kate said, "She is actually out big girl and the oldest. She is 5lbs. 2 oz. and Brenna is 4lbs. 14oz."

"They are so tiny," Alexis said, examining her sister. The baby's eyes were shut and her head covered, but Alexis could see little pieces of chestnut colored hair poking out from under the hat.

"They are perfect," Martha said, walking over by Alexis so she could get a better look at Kendall, "Congratulations to you both."

"Thank you," Kate said, aching to get her girls back, but knowing she would get time with them once everyone had gone.

"We are going to go," Martha said, "We will be back tomorrow. Goodnight my loves."

Kisses and hugs were given out by all and the girls were returned to their mother and father after Alexis and Martha promised to send Lanie and Esposito in.

Once his mother and daughter left, the family enjoyed a few moments of silence before Lanie an Espo came in.

"Oh my goodness," Lanie said, going to Kate, "They are too cute!"

"Thanks," Kate said, smiling at her friend, "Would you like to hold Brenna James?"

"Of course," Lanie said, taking the baby from Kate's arms, "Hi Brenna. You are just too cute."

Espo walked over to Castle and looked at the little baby in his arms. "Dang man," Espo said, "She is adorable."

"Here," Castle said, carefully handing Kendall to Esposito, "This is Kendall Johanna."

"She looks just like you Beckett," Esposito said, "You two got lucky."

Castle gave his friend a look, but he was also glad the girls looked like Kate. They had her light brown hair, nose, chin, just about everything. They did, however, had his brilliant blue eyes. They were also mirror image twins, meaning that Kendall had a cowlick that went left and Brenna's went right. When they started writing, one would be a lefty and one a righty. It was like holding one up to a mirror and you would get the other.

Lanie and Espo visited for a while longer before Kendall started to wake up and Kate realized it was time to feed them again. She had fed them once and both girls had been amazing at latching on and feeding so she wasn't worried.

Lanie and Espo dismissed themselves, telling them they would send Jim Beckett back. Kate thanked them and once they were gone, she got Kendall situated to feed and the greedy baby latched on.

She covered herself with a blanket just as her dad walked in.

"Are these my grandbabies?" he asked, setting down a package he had in his hands.

"Yep," Kate said, "I am feeding Miss Kendall Johanna and Rick has Brenna James."

Tears were in Jim Beckett's eyes as he gave his daughter carefully so as not to disturb his granddaughter.

"Thank you," he said, going to Castle and staring at the tiny baby in his arms.

"You raised an amazing woman, Jim," Rick said, handing Brenna to her grandpa.

"I didn't do it alone," he said, "Jo did so much. I wish she could be here to meet these two. She would be so proud."

Kate nodded, tears running down her cheeks that she couldn't wipe because she was afraid to disturb Kendall. Rick carefully wiped the tears from her face and she thanked him silently.

"How are you feeling Katie?" her dad asked, remembering his little girl had had major surgery not three hours ago.

"Alright," she said, smiling at him, "The anesthesia is wearing off, but the pain isn't awful."

Jim nodded, knowing his daughter's pain tolerance was astronomical. She had broken her arm at five, and he and Johanna hadn't thought anything was wrong until they noticed that she couldn't bend her arm properly because all she ever said was her arm was sore. She had broken it in three placed for goodness sakes and barely flinched!

He smiled at her as she pulled the little baby from beneath the blanket and burped her, letting him get a look at her perfect face before she put her on the other side to finish feeding.

In his arms, Brenna had started fussing and he looked down at her, talking softly to her as flashbacks of Kate as a tiny baby came into his mind. However, as much as Jim tried to calm her, Brenna started screaming and he was at a bit of a loss.

"I think she's hungry," Rick said, taking his daughter into his arms.

"Well," Jim said, "I think I'm going to get going. See you tomorrow Katie-girl. And congratulations to you both."

"Thanks Dad," Kate said as her father kissed her forehead.

"Bye Jim," Rick called over his daughter's hungry cries.

"You have to wait Brenna," Kate said, sighing as her daughter continued screaming, "Kendall is still eating."

A nurse came in just to make sure everything was alright and to check Kate's vitals before leaving the family. Kendall finished and Kate handed her to Rick to be burped while she took the screaming Brenna.

"Come on Baby B," Kate said, holding her daughter in position.

Once Brenna realized what was going on, she latched on, immediately stopping her cries.

"I think I'm going to have to pump," Kate said, looking down at the baby sucking happily, "Then you can feed one while I feed the other. Or we will have to put them on formula."

"Or you could try feeding Brenna first," Castle said, looking down at Kendall who was sleeping in his arms, "Maybe she is going to be the more demanding one. Kendall wasn't too fussy before you fed her."

"Alright," Kate said, "We can try that later."

Once Brenna finished feeds, Kate got Rick on the bed with her and they snuggled close to each other, staring at the two tiny bundles in their arms.

"We made them," Castle said, kissing Kate's temple as she smiled at Kendall who was making faces in her sleep.

"We did," she said, smiling up at him before kissing him passionately, "We sure did."

So there it was. It's over now. I hope you liked it. I am planning on doing a multi-chapter song-fic to give a view of the Castle twins growing up, but I haven't even started it yet. I do have plans for it though. Thanks for sticking with it even though I am so awfull at updating. Thanks for reading!
