Chapter 3: Welcoming The Guest

Sorry that it took so long!

Went camping trips and all! And School/University...

Anyway a new chapter is up and I want to thank the other writers and guests for reviewing and helping me!

This takes place in the before the first season of Transformers Prime, After Darkness Rising. Before Masters and Students.

All of the Transformers belongs to Hasbro.

The Chesire Cat and Wonderland Characters belong to American McGee.

OC Alice belongs to me.

PS: I've changed her clothes. The bottom will be a denim, ankle-sized Capri and ankle sized black Converse shoes. Lastly, The Top will be a Light blue, long-sleeved, V-neck shirt with a butterfly printing on the middle. You'll see why. And there's a special item (Which is not a necklace) secretly hanging around her neck. Can you guess?

Hey! (Yelling)

Hey! (Thoughts)

:Bumblebee Talking:

''Please?''

''No.''

''Pretty Please?''

''I said no!''

''Pretty please, with energon goodies and cherries on top?''

''Hmm... Let me think. NO!'' The grumpy old medic huffed in response for the umpteenth time.

Miko pouted in frustration as Ratchet continued to type the coordinates of the Ground-Bridge for Optimus and the new-comer.

When everyone found out about the new girl arriving the base, some were happy but others weren't.

Two things: Trouble at base and danger on the battlefield. One more ally to bring, one more to protect.

The moment Miko heard the news, she ran off down the base only to bring back some confetti and other decorations from the basement. Miko only wanted to celebrate the new-comer as a new team member welcome ceremony. The Bots even Jack and Raf weren't too keen on this. Because they weren't sure if the new guest would hate it or if she was just a short-time guest until she left.

Thankfully, Ratchet forbid this kind of celebration thinking the same as the boys. Much to Miko's dismay.

The monitor beeped, bringing Ratchet to attention.

''The Ground-Bridge is open. Prepare for our new guest.'' He grumbled at the last word.

He pulled the lever and the green vortex illuminated the main room. Then the truck appeared coming to a stop.

Everyone watched as Optimus opened the door, letting the girl out. Then he Transformed into his Bi-pedal mode.

''Everyone, this is Alice Lorina Sanesburry. You will treat her equally like the rest and with caution of not hurting her.'' He said.

The girl looked rather pale, she looked skinny but presumably fed well, her short hair was raven black, barely passed her shoulders as her face was round yet pale as well. They wondered why this girl would wear a long sleeved shirt when it was the middle May and especially in the hot desert of Jasper Nevada, they would never know...

However the most intriguing yet the scariest feature of all were her eyes.

They were emerald green but they didn't look too friendly. They were cold, and almost soulless. The shiver went down to everyone's spines at her look but got over it.

The girl watched the other Autobots in awe and finally noticed the children nearby. The three of them walked towards her as the eldest held out his hand as a gesture of a simple welcome.

Alice hesitated but the boy's face look calm and somewhat trustworthy and... Familiar. She raised hers and finally took his hand, accepting the gesture.

"Uh... Hi? I'm Jack. Jack Darby. Nice to meet you." He asked.

Alice was ready to answer. But as soon as she opened her mouth, the young Japanese girl rudely butted in. Resulting to push Jack away while she took Alice's hand and shook it roughly.

"Konichiwa! That means hello in Japanese. I'm Miko Nakadai!" She exclaimed in enthusiasm.

Jack scowled at her while rubbing his arm where she pushed. "Ow! Miko! Seriously, don't do that. And stop Shaking her hand like that or you'll-"

SLAP!

Everyone stood in shock when an unexpected event had happened.

Alice had furiously pulled her hand out, then slapped Miko's hand away roughly.

"Youch! Hey! What's that for?! That hurt!" Miko yelped as she nursed her now reddened hand.

"You're a very rude girl. And it serves you right. You should never intervene or cut a person's conversation. Your parents should have taught you better than that." Alice spoke.

Ratchet raised his brow-plate. He was quite impressed with Alice's actions. Perhaps she could teach Miko a manner or two and hopefully, not letting her run off to the Groudbridge.

Miko whimpered at her as she scuttled away from her and ran behind Bulkhead's leg.

The last child was a very shy boy, no older than 12 who was wearing glasses. He walked towards her and extended his small hand. Alice graciously took his and shook it.

"Hi. I'm Rafael Esquivel. But you can call me- uh, Raf." He said.

Alice smiled sweetly and said: "Nice to meet you too Raf."

Once the human introductions were done, Optimus bended down on one knee and lowered his servo for Alice.

Alice hesitated and concerned of falling (Not that she's afraid of heights, not ever) but one look on Optimus' face, she knew and felt that she can trust him. She climbed on to his hand. As soon as he lifted his servo Alice made a mental note: 'Oh my! They're absolute walking giants. Taller than The Hatter himself.'

"Alice. This is my team: The Autobots. They are: Bulkhead, Arcee, Starstrike, Bumblebee and Ratchet."

"Uh, hi?"

"Hi to you too Bulkhead."

"Nice to meet you Alice."

"Nice to meet you too Arcee."

"Hello, I'm glad to meet an another human." Starstrike smiled.

Alice gave a very small smile. She liked this one. There's a lot of potential of energy, joy and responsibility. Just like her-. She shook her head against her painful memories. "The honour's mine, Starstrike." She commented.

Starstrike giggled at her words. She liked this girl as well. A little strict but polite and kind.

:Hi Alice. Hope that you'll like it here.: Bumblebee beeped.

"I hope so. And hi to you as well." she said.

Everyone stared at her in shock.

"Wait, you can understand Bee's speech too?" Raf asked.

Alice turned her head at him with slight confusion on her face.

"Yes? Why? He can't talk normal like all of you?" She asked.

"Well... It's long story short: He lost his voice box during the war." Raf explained.

Alice's eyes widened at this and turned her head back at Bumblebee.

"You poor thing. It's no wonder i felt a buzzes and beeps coming from you." She mourned his loss.

Bumblebee gave a reassuring bleeps and beeps. :It's okay Alice. I'm just glad that you can understand me.:

Alice nodded and turned to look at the Autobot CMO. Who was busy typing the monitor. Alice wasn't pleased by his grumbling noises and ignoring the conversation.

"Has he always been so ignorant and a grumpy old medic?"

The bots and human minus Optimus and Ratchet muffled their giggles at her comment.

Ratchet on the other hand almost blew a fuse. Keyword: Almost.

"Old?! Who are you calling me a grumpy old medic?! I'll have you know that-"

"That your an ignorant, grumpy old medic who likes to eavesdrop out of someone's business which is a very rude thing." Alice cut off Ratchet's words.

Now everyone's mouth and derma were hanging in a comical way while Optimus' were slightly open. No one could ever talkback at Ratchet except for the certain Terror Twins. Unless they ever wanted to get their helms dented by his infamous wrench.

Ratchet stuttered at her words. Then clamped his derma shut. But as he glared at her, she did the same. Her eyes were almost glowing like a small flame burning right through into his spark (and soul). He involuntarily shivered then turned his back to them and continued his monitor work.

Optimus cleared his intake "Now that introductions have been made i would like the children to help our guest to tour around the base. That way she will get to know better."

Miko's ears and hair perked up in anticipation despite the outburst and tension between Alice and herself.

Without thinking as usual. She dragged her friends in front of Optimus.

"We'll do it!"

Optimus gave a tiny smile at the children. They're always had the responsibility and the energy that the Autobots never had.

The boys sighed. They were some thing that they didn't want to do 'certain' things when helping. Not even when it was life-threatening situations. But they were friends and family so it was fine. But helping a stranger was a little awkward thing to do.

Alice stared down at the children then nodded her head in agreement at Optimus.

Optimus gently put her down and walked up to the Medic.

The Medic didn't turn his helm but knew his presence.

"You do realise that Fowler will have a field trip at the news. Especially her." He grumbled but not loud enough to let anyone to hear it.

"I will take care of the situation, old friend." He said gently.

Alice already heard the conversation between the Medic and Leader but ignored it. Then turned her head to the children.

"We'll, if you insist. Alright, but as long as there's no trouble."

Miko smiled and the kids lead the girl down the hallway, accompanied with Bulkhead, Bumblebee and Starstrike for safety.

Alice mused 'At least that I won't be... Alone. But how long before they would find out what I've done?'

Yep. This chapter's finally done.

Next is after the tour, Alice gets disturbing visions and meeting allies once more.

See you next time. SpaceLady out!
