I'm back! Hello again, friends, sorry for my long extended absence, and for not finishing this story beforehand! Well, here it is, the last chapter of this story! Thank you for staying with this, hope you enjoy!

Lucy kept her eyes sealed as tightly as she could as the anticipation and anxiety grew inside her making something flutter in her stomach. She couldn't bare the suspense and was just about to give in and turn around when she felt cold wet fingers wrap around her sides. Her eyes flew open and her body froze along with Natsu's stilled fingers until one of them moved, just barely, eliciting a faint muffled giggle from Lucy. She gasped afterwards, realizing what he was about to do, but it was too late. Natsu grinned evilly and began attacking her sides with tickles and Lucy couldn't help but laugh hysterically at the feeling. "Na- HA- TSUUUU!" She attempted to wriggle herself out of his grasp, but he wrapped one arm around her middle to keep that from happening as his other hand continued its tickle-torture. "HAHAHA! QUI...IT! HA! I-! I'M GONNA.. DIE!"

She was running out of breath and flailing her limbs around wildly when one of her arms made contact with Natsu's chin, making him fall backwards, taking her down with him. Lucy freed herself from his grasp and was about to smack him when she saw that she had already done a considerable amount of damage. She covered her mouth to keep a chuckle from escaping, her eyes gleamed mischievously at her victim, it was her turn now! Just as Natsu was coming to, lucy began ferociously tickling him everywhere she could think of, stomach, sides, armpits, the bottom of his feet (personally, I find that to be the worst place in the world to be tickled). Natsu started rolling around frantically, his eyes tearing up from all the laughter, he eventually was able to grab a hold of her arm to try to stop her attack, turning their tickle fight into a wrestling match.

Lucy was totally worn out by now and accepted her defeat after a few short minutes, "Alright...! You... Win. I... surrender." She said through tired, heavy breaths as she laid sprawled out on the sand. Natsu shouted and roared his victory, "So, what do I win?" He asked squatting by her head to lean over her face. She was too tired to think and replied with a simple "whatever." Natsu pouted for a second, and sat beside her, eyes titightly shut, hand on his chin, trying to come up with something. His stomach rumbled loudly, giving him an idea "hey, I know!" He grinned widely, "you'll just have to treat me to dinner!" He exlaimed, getting excited at the thought of the feast he was soon about to have. But he got no responce.

"Lucy?" He waved his hand in front of her closed eyes, shook her shoulder a bit, all with no reaction. She had all the symptoms of being asleep. "Hey, you can't sleep here, you weirdo! You have to buy me food! I'm starving!" But despite all his cries, she remained soundly asleep. "Hmm..." he didn't really want to wake her up, but he was very hungry... but she looked so peaceful, he sighed and guessed he had to carry her back to the guild, she'd beat him up if he left her out here to bake in the sun. He hesitated before picking her up, staring at her sleeping face. There were grains of sand stuck to her, so he brushed them away, letting his fingers linger on her cheek.

She was breathing in and out softly through her partially open lips, and there was a bit of wetness, drool?, near one corner of her mouth. Natsu had unconsciously been gradually getting closer to her face, only realizing it when they were mere inches apart. He jolted back up with a blush across his cheeks, quickly looking around to see if anyone was watching. He sighed in relief and scooped her up gently. 'I must've been in the sun too long..' he tried to rationalize it to himself, still with a slight bit of pink on his cheeks. He didn't look back at her face until they were in front of the guild hall doors."You're still asleep! Jeeze..."

Lucy slowly blinked her eyes open as Natsu was about to open the guild doors. "Na-Natsu..? What-why are you..." she looked around and noticed where they were. Her eyes slowly changed from sleepy and calm to wide and panicked, "Natsu!" She screamed, to a surprised Natsu "What?! What's wrong?" He questioned, his hand moving seemingly in slow motion to open the doors. "DON'T GO IN THERE! She shouted, remembering the camera Happy flew off with, she strangled his neck, trying to stop him. "?..what..? ...whyy..?" He struggled to get the words out. "BECAUSE-!" But it was too late, the doors swung open, everything was moving in slow motion for lucy now, her eyes adjusting to the light, slowly making out laughing and smiling figures and a giant blowup of a picture, hanging as though it was a banner, of lucy and natsu laying on top of each other at the beach.

Lucy's eye's were huge, her jaw dropped and she was froze stiff in the arms of the other person in that photo. There were all sorts of whoops and hollers from their guild mates, "it's about time!" "Whoo-hoo~" "wow!" "Go natsu!" "Good for you lucy!" "How'd you swing that one, flame brain?" "What took you guys so long?" "Up to something naughty?" They went on and on, this was the worst possible outcome for her. "They lllliiiiiike each other" Suddenly, lucy flew out of Natsu's arms rushing after that last voice she heard, yelling "I'M GONNA KILL YOU CAT!" As she chased him around the guild.

Back with Natsu, he didn't really understand what was was going on or how that picture of them got here, but he didn't really care that much, he was more focused on getting food into his stomach as quickly as possible, while he did this, the guild bombarded him with questions, "How'd it happen?" "I dunno, it just kinda did." He answered while stuffing his face, honestly telling about how they fell like that, not knowing what his words meant to everyone else. All the girls were excited and the guys all impressed, Lucy was going crazy, and Natsu just continued to eat, smiling in between bites with a faint blush lighting his face.
