Ratchet's POV:

Draco sits there looking at the television screen with Jack, Miko and Raf there supporting her in her time of need. The kids have left medbay to do something in order to cheer Draco up or take her mind off what has happened. It's honestly disturbing how she's a prime, and those powers of hers. I'm worried about this lost prophecy business, as well seeing how she is also connected to this as well. I know Optimus will be back soon, however he's strangely not answering my calls over our comlinks. I decide to ask Draco some questions about her grandmother. Something about her death is not sitting well with me.

"Draco...may I have a word with you alone, please?" I asked softly. She looks up at me with those lifeless eyes that appear to be puffy, and irritated from her crying. She silently stands up, and walks towards me. I lead her away from the others so we can talk.

"What's up?" She asked her voice is flat and has no emotion in it.

"Your grandmother...was she sick or anything like that?" I asked slowly and hesitantly.

"She seemed fine...when I left for school. Healthy...even though heart problems do seem to run on both sides of the family." She said slowly as well as softly. I gave her a quick scan and she gives me a look of annoyance and confusion.

"I'm just checking to make sure you're okay...so there is no sudden surprises." I said calmly. She just gives me a look of understanding just as Optimus arrives back at the base. "About time he-" I fall silent as a large black dog jumps out of optimus's vechichle form barking loudly as it runs foreward. "WHAT IN THE NAME OF THE ALL SPARK-! I yelled in disbelief.

"Hades?" Draco asks in confusion as the dog runs up the stairs towards her and jumps up on her. She staggers slightly from the sudden weight but manages to regain her balance. "Down boy...down!" She yelled as the dog whines up at her as he drops down to the floor. His tail is wagging at her as she grabs the leash.

"Optimus! Seriously the kids weren't enough!? You just had to go bring Draco's pets here! ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND!" I yelled as I looked at Optimus' holoform who steps out of his vechichle form, he brings out the cat carrier and a bag that most likely has some of Draco's belongings inside it. Growls and hisses can be heard from the cat carrier. He's strangely quiet as he approaches the kids.

"You brought my pets here?" Draco asked Optimus as she has a tight grip on Hades' leash.

"It's for the best that they remain here with you..." Optimus said as he approaches. Hades growling at the sight of the other autobots, then at Jack, Miko, and Raf. Miko runs over too see Draco's cat, and cooes at it. Only for a furry paw too fly between the bars of the carrier's door. Trying to scratch her while it hisses, and growls loudly at Miko as she takes the cat carrier from Optimus's holoform as well as Draco's bag.

"Choas...realy dislikes strangers, Miko. He will scratch and even bite...if you are not careful." Draco said looking worried as she watches Miko's exspression, from how the cat had tried to attack her.

"It's okay...your cat is just scared...it's fine. I own cats back home...trust me I got this covered." Miko said smiling. Draco did not look convinced neither did Jack or Raf.

"Draco...you named your dog Hades?" Jack asked slowly looking at the large black dog that was growling at him.

"Yeah...he's very over protective, and is a very good watch dog. However you have nothing to worry about though, he's actually a big mush ball, especially when he gets to know you...I'm surprised your holoform is in one piece as well as your vechichle form Optimus." Draco said softly as she pet Hades' head a few times. Hades stopped growling and just looked up at everyone as he was enjoying the attention.

"Ratchet, Arcee, Bulkhead, Bumblebee...I need to speak with all of you alone...Jack, Raf, Miko...please remain here with Draco and her pets..." Optimus said as his holoform vanished as he transforms back into his robot form.

"You got it." Miko said smiling as Choas is hissing angrily from his carrier.

"Miko...I think you should leave Choas alone..." Raf said watching the cat hiss angrily.

"You guys worry to much...cats love me!" Miko said grinning as Raf, Jack and Draco all shared a look knowing this was not going to end well.

All of us the leave the room, following Optimus until we are well out of hearing rage from the children so that we can talk. "Optimus, care to fill us in on what's going on?" Arcee asked just as Optimus hands me three glass mugs that were inside storage bags. I'm confused to why Optimus just handed me three human drinking glasses inside clear plastic bags.

"Optimus?" Bumblebee asked in confusion.

"Draco's grandmother, did not die from a heart attack...she was poisoned." Optimus exsplains. Our optics all widen as Optimus exsplains fully on what he had discovered. I look down at the cups as I relised what Optimus wanted to do. He wants me to locate the the one responsible for Emily Waters murder. I give Optimus a nod to let him know I would get started on that as soon as possible.

"So how do we break the news to the kids, especially Draco?" Bulkhead asked looking worried.

"I will tell her when I believe the time is right...for now...I want this to remain between us until I inform Fowler of the situation. Then he and I can tell Draco, the truth about her grandmother." Optimus said.

"You sure that's a good idea, Optimus? I mean you saw what happened with her powers...Draco is no ordinary human and she could easily rip all of us apart." I voice my concern. This is not what Draco would need on top of her stress that seems to be increasing.

"I believe it is the right course of action, Ratchet." Optimus tells me.

"Optimus...if her grandmother was poisoned...then Draco's is in danger...her grandmother's murderer or muderers might come back for her. With her unstable as it is...she might accidently hurt someone with her powers." Arcee said frowning.

"I know Arcee...she has already suffered a terrible blow, and I do not wish to trouble her with this...at least not for the rest of the night. That is why she's remaining here in the base. Besides the fact Emily left Draco in my care...as of right now...she's my adoupted child." Optimus said softly.

"The pets, you brought them here because why?" I asked slowly while glaring at Optimus.

"I knew my charge, would worry about them, and I didn't want anything to happen to her pets, that she cares deeply about...they are remaining here in Draco's care. Meaning we will have to be careful about her two pets, so no accidents happen." Optimus said.

"This is just asking for trouble Optimus." I said just as Miko's pain filled screech came from the main room. We soon all headed back to the main room, quickly to find out what happened. Only too see Miko holding her hand as red scratch marks from the cat had left on her hand, that were slightly bleeding. Hades was laying down as Raf was petting his head. Draco was scolding Miko, for not istening to her warnings about her cat. Miko just brushing off the scolding while stating, how the cat is just scared and didn't know any better. Jack went to get the first aid kit.

"That cat really doesn't like people does it?" Bulkhead asked frowing.

"You have no idea the trouble, I went though just to catch it." Optimus said sighing. Jack was soon taking care of the bleeding scratch marks on Miko's hand.

"This is going to be a long night..." I said sighing as I headed off to medbay once more, so I can get started on locating the people responsible for Emily's death.
