A/N: I just want to say thanks to everyone who has read, reviewed, favorited, and followed this story. You all gave me the motivation to explore this plotbunny and turn it into a story. Without you, who knows where I'd be. This is the end to our sweet little tale, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it. Thank you.

Epilogue

"Mum, stop fretting!" Esme said, shrugging out of her mother's embrace.

Hermione sighed. "Baby, I just want to make sure you're tie is straight."

"It's fine, Teddy helped me," Esme said, picking up her trunk. "Can we go now?" she asked excitedly, peering up at her mother.

"Soon, let me just go check on Teddy." Hermione went upstairs, peeking into Teddy's room. "You ready?"

He peered up at her, tears in his eyes. She looked on his bed and noticed he was going through the pictures he had of Remus and Tonks. Frowning, she moved over and took a seat on his bed. "You okay?" she asked gently.

"I just miss them, that's all," Teddy said with a sigh, stuffing the pictures into his pocket.

"They'd be proud of you, you know. You turned out into such a wonderful young man, Teddy."

His brown hair turned blue, signaling his happiness. "Thanks, Mione." Giving her a hug, he stood up. Hermione looked at him, astonished at how strong the small boy was. "Can't believe my little boy is all grown up."

"I'm not little, anymore," he said with a small pout. "I'm a second year now, Mione. I know my way around!"

"I know you do, sweetie." She ruffled his hair before helping him with his trunk. The two of them walked downstairs where Andromeda was fussing over Hermione.

"I already fussed," Hermione said with a giggle at her daughter's frustrated expression.

"Well, I'm just making sure my little girl is all right."

"Fine, Andy," Esme replied with a grin. She wished they'd stop fussing over her.

"Well, if everyone's got everything, let's go."

The four of them Apparated to King's Cross Station, quickly making their way to Platform 9 ¾.

"Now Teddy, you better watch out for Esme this year," Andromeda said, giving him a stern look.

"Yes, Gram," he said, grinning. He hugged her tightly. "I love you, and I'll see you at Christmas."

"I love you too, Teddy. Take care." Andromeda kissed to the top of his head before pulling Esme into her arms. "I love you too, dear."

"Love you too, Andy," Esme said, hugging her second mother tightly.

"Teddy, be sure to write," Hermione admonished him. "And make sure Esme is okay."

"She'll be fine, Mione." Teddy loved Esme dearly; she was his sister in a way. "I'll take good care of her though."

"Good." Hermione kissed him before pulling Esme into her arms. She held her tightly wondering where the last years have gone. It seemed like only yesterday her little girl was born; now she was going off to Hogwarts for her first year. "Be sure to write, baby," she whispered.

"I love you, Mum. So, so much," Esme replied, hugging her mother. "I'll write you tonight to tell you where I've been sorted."

"Okay," Hermione said, giving her daughter one last kiss.

Teddy took Esme's hand, leading her towards the train. "You're going to love Hogwarts," he said excitedly.

"Take care, both of you!" Andromeda shouted after them.

The two of them turned and waved good-bye.

"When did they get so old?" Hermione whispered, watching her two babies board the train.

"Time goes by faster than you think," Andromeda replied. "Come on, let's go home and make some tea."

"Andy?" Hermione said as the two of them were leaving the train station.

"Yes?"

"I love you," she whispered, before giving her love a quick kiss.

Their family was a little bit strange, but it was a family that neither of them would trade for anything in the world. The four of them were happy, and would continue to be happy for the rest of their days.
