Hey this is CoS back with another chapter of Naruto of the Nine Bijuu. I know it's been a really long time and I again apologize for taking so long, but what are ya gonna do. I don't own Naruto or it's characters so let's go. Also it seems no one caught or at least commented on it, but the scene last chapter with Jiraiya and Itachi fighting Orochimaru was a reference to the scene in X-men origins Wolverine with the brothers fighting Dead Pool.

The group had been walking for a couple days before they hit the boarder of the land of Fire. They set up camp in a clearing resting up for their last leg of their journey.

"So now that we have Suigetsu, Jugo, and Karin are we going to get Nagato and Konan?" Jiraiya asked as the group set up their tents.

"You and I are Pervy-Sage, but every one else is going to stay back at the village." Naruto replied getting the attention of the other members of the group.

"Why are we not coming with you gaki?" Wondered Zabuza as he, Kakashi, Suigetsu, Jugo, and Itachi gathered by Naruto and Jiraiya.

"Well If we go to Ame with two S, an A, two Chunin, a Sanin, and a Jinchuriki we won't get the element of surprise, and plus if Nagato sees Itachi he most likely won't give us the chance to talk if it's just Pervy-Sage and I." Explained Naruto as the others just nodded in acceptance.

The rest of the night was uneventful as the group pondered the future knowing that at one point this never happened and a catastrophic war would break out in three years.

The group strolled through the gates of Konoha and waved to Izumo and Kotetsu as they had been informed of the mission and would report to the Hokage as soon as the got inside the village. True to this the group Body-flickered to the Hokage tower and went to see Hiruzen. As the group entered the office they saw Sasuke, Karin, and Haku waiting with Tsunade, Shizune, and Hiruzen. Naruto gave the old man a questioning look and asked, "How did you know we were here?"

Hiruzen chuckled and replied, "That, Naruto-kun, is a Hokage secret."

"You used the crystal ball that let you find me when I caused mischief and pulled pranks didn't you?" Grinned Naruto as Hiruzen stroked his beard in thought.

"How do you know of my crystal ball?" Hiruzen asked Naruto as the rest of the occupants looked back and fourth like watching a Ping-Pong match.

"I have been in this office so many times that I have happened to have seen it before you could put it away Jiji." Smiled Naruto who got a nod of acceptance from the aged Hokage.

Naruto then began to explain the events of the mission with the others chiming in to ad their input.

"Good job every one, you'll all be paid for an A-rank mission." Hiruzen said. Turning to Suigetsu and Jugo, "You two will be debriefed as soon as possible."

"No need to Jiji we have a completed statement from both of them. We figured that it should be done while we traveled here." Said Naruto handing over the files.

"All right then, good job with the preventive work Naruto, but what should we do with those three?" Replied Hiruzen.

"Well if they are up for it they would be a team under Zabuza since Haku is a Chunin and Zabuza doesn't have full time students." Stated Naruto getting a nod from the old man and the mentioned people.

"I don't mind being a squad leader Hokage-sama." Stated Zabuza getting agreed nods from the three Genin.

"All right then the four of you will be squad eleven and Haku you can be an assistant squad leader for larger missions. You will also be taking a qualifying test after you leave." Hiruzen stated giving the three leaf headbands. With that most of the group left to relax or take their test, as Naruto and Jiraiya stayed behind.

"Jiji Pervy-sage and I will be heading out to collect the last two people I want to get." Naruto said with a serious tone to his voice.

"That's fine, just be careful and don't cause any international incidents; this could be considered an act of war that could be very dangerous for the world." Hiruzen sighed as he waved the two off as the leapt out of his office window.

(Some time later)

Master and student hit the road again after getting a quick bite at Ichiraku's and set of for Ame. The two traveled by tree hopping for about six hours before Jiraiya signaled for a halt. The two landed and Naruto grinned.

"What's wrong Pervy-Sage your age getting to ya."

"No, and shut up, we need to come up with a plan for infiltrating Ame. I have been there before and it's a bitch to get into even under normal circumstances." Jiraiya hissed as he crossed his arms.

"Well I think that since Madara and by extension Nagato and Konan are after me since I have Kura-chan we will make an open challenge at the boarder of the village, and hope they both come." Naruto stated getting a growl from Jiraiya.

"That is the most idiotic plan ever! What if Nagato and Konan show up with an army what then?" Jiraiya yelled face-palming.

"Then you, Boss Bunta, Ken, and Hiro will fight and lead them away from Nagato, Konan, and I." Puffed Naruto who got a gob-smacked look from Jiraiya.

"That still doesn't plan for Nagato capturing you." Said a still skeptical Jiraiya.

"Don't worry Pervy-Sage, I will have Kura-chan and the others take over Kage-bunshin when we get closer to back me up just incase." Naruto replied getting an exasperated sigh out of the Toad-hermit.

"Naruto you don't need to worry about me being killed by Nagato I'll be fine." Jiraiya said getting a huff from his student.

"I know, but to be safe, I need to convince him on my own and knowing his focus will be on me puts my mind at ease." Said Naruto getting a smile from Jiraiya.

'Kid you're gonna be a great Hokage one day.' Thought Jiraiya as he and Naruto jumped back into the trees heading for Ame.

(Back at the village)

Zabuza and Haku lead the three newly instated leaf Genin to training ground eleven for their team work test. Jugo was walking in-between Suigetsu and Karin as they were speculating on what their test would be on.

"Well what do you guys think our test will be?" Asked Karin as Suigetsu took up a sarcastic thinking pose.

"Well Konoha is a big preacher of team work, so that's my guess." He replied as he looked to Jugo.

"That seems to be the most likely answer, but the question is how is the test going to make us need to work together?" Jugo said as the three of them saw Zabuza and Haku stop by three posts.

The training field that they were lead to had a lake in the middle of a clearing with forest surrounding it. Zabuza turned to look at his soon to be team as they stopped.

"This is going to be our training field from now on. We will meet here every day at seven to ten for training and take missions until three in the afternoon, but before that happens you three will be tested as a team. If one of you fails the team fails, no buts or whys. If you fail this test you will be put in the academy for four years to be re-educated on being competent ninja." Growled Zabuza as the three looked a bit shocked. No-one had said anything about the possibility of not being put as active Genin right away, but they reminded themselves that only competent ninja are acceptable ninja. The three nodded and put their head bands on the middle post, determined to get them back.

Zabuza pulled out three bells he tied one to his wrist, gave one to Haku who tied it on to his wrist, and put one in a pouch that he threw into the air. which proceeded to explode sending kunai and shuriken all over the place. Zabuza pulled out an egg timer and set the time for an hour.

"You three have an hour to get at least two bells from either Haku or I or find the one in the forest, but if you don't game over." Zabuza said staring the time as the three jumped away.

Haku and Zabuza wait a few seconds before activating the hidden-mist jutsu and disappearing into the cold white mist.

(With the team)

Suigetsu, Karin, and Jugo are hidden in the hollow of a tree forming their plan of attack.

"Karin you think you can find them in that mist?" Suigetsu asked as Karin closed her eyes to sense their targets.

"Yeah I can-wait, something is wrong." Karin said as she furrowed her closed eyes. "For some reason it's like Zabuza's chakra is floating around like a cloud of some sort, I can't see past it to find him or Haku."

"Shit that sounds like the Hidden Mist-jutsu!" Growled Suigetsu as he punched the tree they were in.

"What is so bad about that?" Asked Jugo as he and Karin turned a questioning gaze to their team mate.

"It's terrible, because if we get anywhere close to that mist he will know that we are there and then Haku can tear us apart with his needles!" Suigetsu snapped getting a flinch from Karin and a scowl from Jugo.

"Well then we can split them up to avoid that." Jugo said glaring at Suigetsu for snapping. Suigetsu looked ashamed until Karin nudged him knowing he was just stressed. The three of them quickly made a plan of attack to get the bells and then split up to enact their strategy.

(With Zabuza and Haku)

"Haku they are coming from my left rear and your right side, get ready." Zabuza said drawing the Executioner's Blade. Haku nodded pulling out two handful of senbon waiting for the attack.

What the two didn't expect was a fully transformed Jugo to rocket through the mist and grab Haku only to toss him out of the mist into the forest. 'So the big guy has Haku, which is speed against strength battle. That means that...' Zabuza couldn't complete his thought as Suigetsu came barreling in with as a torrent of water, slamming into Zabuza's chest taking him off his feet and out of the mist. Suigetsu pushed Zabuza clear out of the cloud of mist with Karin waiting to swing a chakra infused kunai into Zabuza's back. What the two didn't expect was for Zabuza to go up in smoke when the kunai hit him. Suigetsu reformed and drew a pair of elongated kunai standing back to back with Karin waiting for Zabuza. They didn't wait long as Zabuza appeared to Suigetsu's left and Karin's right swinging the Executioner's blade at their waists. Jugo saved their skins as he shoulder checked Zabuza sending him back into the mist. This dispelled the water clone as Zabuza was sent too for away to maintain it.

"Thanks Jugo!" Karin exclaimed getting a nod from the slowly reverting teen.

Zabuza came out from the mist as Haku joined his side. The two walked up to about twenty feet from the trio and got into a battle stance. Suigetsu nodded to Karin as she darted off looking for the third bell.

"Sending your tracker to find the third objective huh? Smart, but not enough!" Zabuza growled as he lunged at Suigetsu swinging his cleaver.

Haku formed hand signs, "Water style: Thousand Needles of Death!" He said as water rose up formed the deadly projectiles and rocketed towards Jugo.

Both groups of combatants slung jutsu, weapons, and attacks for the next twenty minutes. This lead to small injuries on both sides until Jugo shot a chakra powered rocket punch at Haku's left side. The sickening crack of breaking ribs caused Jugo to hesitate as Haku hit the ground in a terrible crash. Zabuza noticed this and nodded to Haku who moved over to the posts to begin healing himself. Jugo joined Suigetsu attacking Zabuza, who by now had already decided that the three passed. The egg timer went off soon after as Karin reappeared looking defeated. The three lined up after Haku got healed by Karin, waiting for Zabuza's decision.

"You three did well even to Kiri's old standards. Not only did you keep two experienced partners from working together you also sent the best suited member of the team to locate the objective. However, that does not excuse the fact that not one of you got the bells." Zabuza finished getting an ashamed look form the three until he heard Suigetsu chuckle.

"Actually, Zabuza, we did." Each of them pulled out a bell form their pouches. Zabuza and Haku looked shocked as they checked their wrists only to see the bells missing. Both thought back to the first attack the group made. Haku realized that when Jugo grabbed him he snatched bell as well. Zabuza did the same only with the time when Suigetsu hit him in the chest as a torrent of water. Both looked at Karin who smiled.

"When you tossed the pouch and scattered the kunai and shuriken, I sensed a small infusion of chakra on one of them. I located it and dispelled the genjutsu you placed over it to hide the bell." Karin finished getting a awed look from the two. Sensing such a small amount of chakra and being able to locate it with such ease proved an incredible skill in sensory and tracking.

Zabuza nodded to the three, "You three have played to each other's strengths and covered your weaknesses, all the while showing tactics and team work. You three have passed and now are officially Leaf Genin.

The three smiled and picked their head bands off the post proud to be Leaf Ninja.
