Changed the rating to M because I kept being told that the stuff I put these poor characters through is very graphic, and I plan on the next chapter being possibly very graphic. Hope you like it though.

"No, no, no Caroline. You must trust that the bar is there. Do it again."

Caroline was so tired. For three months now, at least she estimated three months, Ms. Sue had been teaching everything she said she would.

Caroline was now a master of almost the entire worlds history, and the culture, religion, and art for each country. She could speak fluent Spanish, French, Italian, German, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, and Latin. She had learned four years of law school in four days with skills that would leave some of the best lawyers speechless. Chemistry and biology were covered in one week. Anatomy of humans and some major mammals was covered in two weeks. Sociology, dance, and martial arts is what she was currently working on. Sociology was so that if and when Marvel ever lets her out, Caroline could hide and be a chameleon. Ballet, foxtrot, waltz, tango, and cha-cha were all a part of her morning exercise. In the evening, Ms. Sue had her vary between Kung Fu, Aikido, and gymnastics in the afternoon. Right now, Caroline was having to master the uneven bars, and she had a dislocated shoulder.

"I can't. I dislocated my shoulder."

"Yes you can. You had three blood bags this morning."

"Well it's all almost gone because Tommy decided to skim my ankles and these bars have vervain on them."

"Your own fault for not controlling your body. Now either heal and do the routine again, or do the routine with a dislocated shoulder. Your choice."

Caroline huffed, got up, ran directly at one bar stand, rammed her shoulder popping her shoulder back into place, walked over to her starting spot under the high bar, and began the routine again. Low bar, back to high, bounce off low bar to swing on top of high bar, stand, clear the head, backflip, grab high bar, wrap body around low bar, open, grab the high bar, swing back to the low bar, bring legs above low bar, grab high bar, bounce legs off of low bar to swing legs over high bar, drop to low bar to spin, have legs grab high bar, stay and balance at the waist on the high bar, summer salt around high bar, come back up in a hand stand, twist, bounce legs off of the low bar, swing back up and around the high bar, come up again, push off high bar into a backflip, and stick the landing on the other side of the low bar.

As Caroline stuck her landing, she smiled and cheered to herself.

Smack!

A wooden stick hit Caroline just below the knee causing her to wince.

"Never reveal your emotions in front of anyone Caroline. They can be misleading." Ms. Sue scolded.

Caroline instantly changed her facial expression to neutral, but wished nothing more than approval from her teacher here.

"And don't go seeking others approval," Ms. Sue continued to scold. "Your opinion of yourself should always be enough."

Caroline though she saw Ms. Sue wink, but she wasn't sure.

"Yes Ms. Sue." Caroline curtsied.

"Now, go put on your dress for Helen."

"Yes Ms. Sue." Caroline did a deep courtesy, and walked towards the only door in the windowless gym, keeping her face expressionless, walked out into the hallway, and into her cupboard changing room to change into her high collared long sleeve dress that was embroidered with vervain.

Barely keeping in her whimpers and cries of pain, Caroline emerged from the cupboard, focusing on her body not healing, and walking tall, gracefully, but most of all with no hint of pain on her face.

Taking one last deep breath, Caroline gracefully made her way down the hallway towards the history classroom.

Caroline hated this hallway. Marcel had made the entire school look like Mystic Falls High. When Caroline had first arrived, the first memories that Helen had destroyed were her human days of going to school, quickly followed by the few days in which she was a vampire, and nothing could have gone better for her. And the history classroom? Alaric's classroom

"Good evening Miss. Peterson. How are you this evening?" Caroline directly asked Helen as she walked to her seat without even glancing at Helen.

"Caroline," Helen called out all to sweetly from behind the desk, "don't sit back there darling. Today you get to sit up here."

Caroline turned to see Helen smiling. This petrified Caroline, but she kept her composure calm.

"What allows me this pleasure today?" Caroline started to walk back towards the desk.

"You get to have a viewing today."

Caroline gently sat down.

Helen came up behind Caroline, and placed her hands on Caroline's shoulders. "Dear Caroline," suddenly Caroline's hands were forced on top of the table by Tommy, "I'm going to love watching you break." Helen's grip released only to stab pencils into Caroline's hands to keep them in place. Caroline couldn't help but lose her composure and control causing her skin to heal and a scream come lose.

"That's just the beginning you slut." Tommy sneered pulling two knives out of his pocket. "Let's take off your beautiful glove shall we?" With one long deep cut, and part of her sleeve, Tommy Ripped Caroline's glove and part of her sleeve off, revealing her blistered arm and bloody fingernails. "Lets carve another glove shall we?" Tommy imbedded his first knife deep into Caroline's thigh, making sure the blood flowed freely before he started carving her right arm, from elbow to finger-tip, again.

The pain was to much for Caroline that she couldn't control her body. Every time Tommy skinned her arm, her skin would grow back. But as the blood flowed out of her thigh, every time Tommy skinned her arm, it would grow back slower.

"That bitch Sue has been far to generous with your blood rations hasn't she?" Helen tormented.

'If someone is being rude, a lady does not acknowledge that person until they properly apologize.' Ms. Sue's teachings ran through Caroline's head.

"She's not going to talk to you. She's been with her for to long." Tommy mumbled as he finished carving Caroline's fingers again.

"Fine," Helen pouted, "then I'll make her talk."

To Caroline's surprise, Helen left the room.

"There we go." Tommy had finished carving her fingers and added the skin to the container that had all her other skins. "It's finally stopped growing back so fast." Tommy smiled at Caroline. "What should we carve next?"

Caroline took a deep breath, didn't say anything, and just looked forward.

"I see." Tommy went to her other side. "Left leg then?" Tommy ripped the knife out of Caroline's thigh, grabbed the skin, and just began to peal it back with his hands, not even bothering to be careful.

"You see Caroline," Tommy kneeled next to her, "the arms are like a birds wings; fragile and beautiful. But the legs now, they're nothing but muscle and fat, so you can be as rough as you want." Tommy then ripped half of Caroline's thigh skin, causing Caroline to scream out in complete agony, eyes beginning to water.

"When I was human, I used to carve so many animals for my shop." Tommy began to gloat. "Cows, chickens, goats, pigs, lambs, turkeys, fish, squirrels, rabbits… anything anyone wanted skinned, I would do it. For the right price of course." Tommy took a cloth and cleaned up the area he just ripped off.

"You see Caroline, I used to work with Ms. Sue. I know how she works. She leads one in the way of a lady or gentleman, and then allows them to become a monster. Sometimes they even become a ripper. Are you ready to become a ripper Caroline?"

Caroline sobbed. She was in so much pain. The metallic taste of blood was filling Caroline's mouth.

"Caroline," Tommy grabbed Caroline's face, forcing her to look at him, "are you ready to become a ripper?"

Caroline just stared into Tommy's eyes. She saw nothing but dark truth in his eyes. She was going to become a ripper. The realization hit and tears started to fill her eyes.

No. Caroline mentally slopped herself. She was not going to become a ripper. Not after all the horror stories Stefan had told her, or the torture her dad had put her through.

Anger boiled Caroline's blood. She spit a bit of blood on Tommy, who then looked just as mad.

In a flash, Tommy had flipped one of his knives and imbedded it deep into Caroline's stomach, slicing the wind out of her and causing more blood to fill her mouth and flow out of her stomach.

"Tommy!" Caroline could hear Helen just outside the door, "Come here! I need your help!"

Tommy got up from his stool, and slowly walked out, not even flinching to take the knife out of Caroline's stomach, and slowly, Caroline felt the temporal darkness of death overtake her.

"Elena!" Caroline called out, searching the woods for Elena. "Don't make me fight you Elena! I'm stronger than you and I don't want to hurt you."

Suddenly, Caroline was pushed against a tree, flipped to the ground, a tight grip almost cutting off Caroline's air, and Elena on top of her.

"Who's gonna get hurt?"

Caroline got mad, broke Elena's grip, and threw her off, being quick to stand up.

"Not bad," Elena admitted, "not technically good, but then again, Alaric didn't train you. You were probably to busy butting into butting into peoples business." Elena tried to high kick at Caroline's head, ducking, Caroline didn't have enough time to react before Elena had her at the neck again, head butting her.

"Just stop!" Caroline was getting mad and tired, "This isn't you and you know it!"

Elena just looked at Caroline like she didn't care, like she was plotting to kill Caroline right now.

"You hurt my mom Elena. How far are you gonna take this?"

"Are you trying to make me feel bad for hurting your mom? Don't you get it?" Elena started to circle Caroline, "I don't care."

"Elena."

"Maybe you should try to turn it all off. Who knows? You might stop whining about how Tyler left you. Added bonus, you won't have to feel bad about all the dirty thoughts you have about Klaus."

"Shut up."

"Make me."

Caroline charged at Elena full speed, but it was no longer Elena. It was Carter; her first kill at the Carnival. She was ripping his neck open, and she couldn't stop. 'I'm so sorry' kept running through her head, but for some reason, she was so hungry.

Taking a step away from Carter, she showed him towards the head of the truck he had been sitting on, and straddled him so that she could attack the other side of his neck.

Finally feeling full, Caroline sits up, feeling better than she had in days. Then she looked down.

"Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God!" Caroline started to freak out. She tried to back up, but she couldn't. She was bound to a chair with vervain ropes.

Caroline struggled to get out, but couldn't even see beyond her hands, and that was a strain. The lights suddenly turned on and all the bodies of the people that Marcel had killed when he allowed her to heal from "auditions" were in front of her. First and foremost was little Ryan, crying for his mommy and brother as blood spilled from his shoulder without any sign of slowing.

"Marcel! Stop it!" Caroline tried to yell with a stripped voice.

Caroline's breathing was heavy. But she was no longer bound to a chair, but locked in a cage waking up with a blinding pain coming from her forehead.

She tried to will the bullet forward but nothing happened, so she had to dig her fingers in her own head to remove the small bullet. Wait, bullet? She had been shot in the head?

Caroline knew she had to get out of there. Willing for her arm to magically grow longer, Caroline reached for the lock at the bottom of the cage, but realized there's a man there, the man that shot her.

'He must be a werewolf' Caroline realized.

He sat there so casually, a calm attitude about him, but devilish simultaneously. "I see you got the bullet out. That was… nasty."

There was no place for Caroline to hide in this cage, and she so desperately wanted to hide.

"I got lots of wooden bullets. Other toys."

Caroline couldn't help it, just the thought of it terrified her to tears.

"It's going to be a long night sweet pea."

Caroline looked up, gun pointed directly at her.

Bang! A wooden bullet imbedded itself directly in Caroline's right shoulder. A scream of sheer pain ripped itself from Caroline's lungs.

If this was the beginning, Caroline wasn't going to go down calmly. She jumped for the man, but didn't hit the bars.

It was a deputy, one of her mom's deputies. He was screaming, but Caroline only had to knock him and the other deputy out with blood loss. But before she could finish him, the other deputy was shooting at her, and Caroline did what she had to, she used the original deputy as cover. Now she was mad, she dropped the first deputy, ran over to the second deputy, knocked his gun out of his hand and shoves him to the floor so hard, he knocks his head on the floor falling unconscious.

Ready for another attack, Caroline hid in the shadows of the cellar. When she finally got control of herself again, she looked at her mom and saw nothing but fear and shock. Caroline slowly came out of the shadows and into the light, still getting a hold of her breath, to face her mother with the truth.

"Hi mom."

Caroline blinked looking down. There was her mom again, on the floor, unconscious.

"Mom?" Carline gently shakes her mom, praying that she would wake up at any moment, "Mom, open your eyes. Come on. Wake up. You have to wake up. You have to see me graduate." Tears started falling down Caroline's reddening face.

"Turn it off," Elena's voice echoed.

"Bitch," Matt's voice whispered.

"What?" Caroline kept hearing voices, but looking around she saw that nobody was in the room with her. Her mom had even disappeared.

"Whore." Tyler's voice accused.

"You're worthless Barbie." Damon snarled.

"Caroline," Bonnie groaned.

"Stop it." Caroline closed her eyes and covered her ears, trying to stop the voices.

"She's not my daughter." Caroline looked up to see a passing image of her mother in the Salvatore cellar.

"Murderer." Alaric snarled.

The feeling of gagging fabric soaked in vervain came burning back, causing Caroline breaths to come back in short.

"No!" Caroline stood up only to be in a dark room, face to face with her father.

"Daddy?"

"I'm so sorry this happened to you." Caroline tried to move away as he raised a wooden stake, but was back in the damn reinforced steel chair.

"Dad, what are you doing?"

I'm going to fix you sweet heart."

Caroline's dad came charging at her, read to stake her when Caroline felt her vampire features show, broke free of the chair, and snapped her dad's neck without a second thought.

Caroline came to with a start, her hands almost shooting up and off the pencils.

"There we go." Helen smirked. She was sitting on the desk, blocking Caroline's point of view from everything else. "How did you like that one? I think it was one of my best."

Caroline shrieked in complete anger and tried to jump on top of Helen, but Tommy grabbed her from behind and stabbed the knife from her stomach, through her left shoulder and imbedded into the chair to keep Caroline from moving much.

Caroline turned as much as she could to glare at Tommy. If looks could kill, Tommy would be burning alive.

"Now Caroline," Helen had gotten out of Caroline's face and she could now see a sight that even her darkest nightmares could conjure.

The entire room was full of people she recognized from Mystic Falls. All along the walls were people chained to the wall, obviously week from the blood loss they had probably suffered from the cuts on their writs. But the people chained to the desks had blood red eyes and dark veins under their eyes, fangs snapping at the poor chained people on the walls. All looking like monstrous vampires, all but one.

"Stefan," Caroline instantly went from fuming, to alert.

"Caroline?" Stefan looked confused. "What's going on? Where have you been? I thought you were going to Tokyo."

"Stefan, you have to- ahhhhhhhh!" Tommy twisted the knife in Caroline's shoulder, causing everyone in the room to shut up and pay attention to the front.

"This isn't social time Caroline." Tommy whispered in her ear. "Now, listen to Miss. Helen, play along, and enjoy the show.

Caroline let her gangs show as she snarled.

"Oh, not very lady like Caroline." Helen scolded. "What were the rules again Tommy?"

"Every time Miss. Caroline here is the least bit rude, a vampire dies."

Helen vamped over to one of the vampires and ripped their heart out in an instant.

"No!" Caroline screamed as the body quickly turned grey.

"And every time the said Miss. Caroline shows any human emotion," Helen smiled as Tommy camped over to a girl Caroline had been on the leadership team with and threw her in front of a vampire, "a human dies."

Without a second thought it seemed, the vampire dove in, fangs first, to their new meal. The girl died screaming.

Tears started to fill Caroline's eyes as the screams faded.

"Careful Caroline," Helen warned, "your emotions are starting to show."

Caroline quickly blinked away the tears. She knew her eyes were obviously showing fear, so she looked to the only person who might know what to do.

'Stefan, what do I do?' Caroline silently pleaded.

Stefan looked just as helpless looking back at Caroline.

"Why are you-" Caroline started to ask, but her voice cracked and before she could finish her question, Tommy had thrown another human to a vampire to feast on and Helen had ripped the heart out of another vampire.

"Now Caroline," Helen scolded in her sweet voice, "you know better than to speak unless spoken to. Very rude of you."

Caroline wanted to cry, but couldn't because than another person would die. Ms. Sue's teaching had not prepared her for this.

Caroline silently closed her eyes, and took a deep breath to get her emotions in control. She slowly opened her eyes, sitting up as straight as she could with her restraints, and concentrated on giving off the most emotionless look she could muster, but her insides were still scorching with pure fury.

"Oh, very convincing Caroline," Helen applauded as she weaved her way to stand in front of Caroline, "but I know you're still in there. Tommy, why don't you practice your beautiful skill on one of the humans?"

"I would love to." Tommy walked along the edges of the wall. "Now, do any of you have a knife?"

Not one human said anything. Nothing but the snarls of the vampires could be heard.

"Nobody?" Tommy looked bored. He flashed in front of a boy who looked like he would have just been starting high school, ripped one of his front pockets open and caught the shiny object that fell from it.

"A pocket knife." Tommy observed. "You should have told me you had this boy." Tommy scolded.

The poor boy looked to be ready to cry and before he could do anything, Tommy had made a log cut on the left pant leg, and began to carve the boys skin off.

It was one thing for one to experience the pain themselves, but another thing completely to watch the pain be imposed on another.

Caroline couldn't help but flinch the moment the boy started screaming. Unfortunately, Helen saw this and snapped the boy's neck.

'At least he's out of his misery' Caroline thought to herself.

"What the hell Helen."

"She flinched. Now Caroline, do you want to know how to save all these people?"

Caroline didn't reply immediately.

Another heart of a vampire dropped to the floor.

"Yes Miss. Peterson," Caroline quickly spoke, making sure to sound impersonal and respectful, "I would love to be informed how to win this game of yours.

Helen smirked to herself, raising her bloodied hand as she walked towards Caroline. "It's quite simple really." Helen smeared the blood on her hands off onto Caroline's face. "You lose."

Caroline was confused, but made sure to not show it.

"How pray tell, do I lose, and save everyone?" Caroline asked without a falter, even when Tommy started on a new victim.

Helen came around behind Caroline grinning like a cheshire cat, and leaned down to whisper in her ear, "Turn it off."

Caroline's eyes immediately flew to Stefan without twitching another muscle.

"Caroline," Stefan began to plead, but Helen flashed in front of him, and silenced him by snapping his neck.

"Tommy!" Helen called over Tommy's victim's screams.

Tommy stopped, but didn't bother to turn around. "What?"

"I know we said we would kill this one last, but can we please kill him now?"

Caroline's eyes flew wide as Tommy sighed, "Sure, I don't care."

"No!" Caroline cried.

Helen just looked over her shoulder, tisking at Caroline, "No human emotions Caroline."

"I don't care." Elena circled around Caroline. "Maybe you should try to turn it all off."

Caroline felt a tingle in her head, like something turned off.

"I SAID NO!" Caroline screamed, raising her hands through the pencils, grabbing both, throwing one at Helen's heart directly and the other at Tommy's neck, both hitting their targets.

Reaching up, Caroline ripped the bloody knife from her shoulder.

As soon as she was free of all restraints, Caroline vamped behind Helen and deepened the pencil, deeper into her heart.

"Fuck you Helen." Helen's body grayed as her body relaxed and her hand slipped out of Stefan's chest, heartless.

Caroline heard a gargled roar quickly approaching her, and with a side step and a flick of the knife, Tommy's head rolled to the floor.

Lots happened there. Next chapter is going to be fun, followed by Klaus!
