It's been a really long time, and I am really sorry for the lack of updating.

Lot was going on but don't worry! Everything is now settled down a little and therefore, I bring you an update!

Disclaimer: I Do Not Own Austin and Ally.

Recap:

"Thanks and I accept." I answered.

"I was hoping you would say yes." he said to me.

And with that he grabbed his first aid kit and wheeled back into the bathroom as I got up and left the room smiling to myself.

Maybe tonight at dinner he would actually give us a chance, maybe tonight he might ask me to be his girlfriend, maybe tonight everything for once will go just the way it's suppose to be.

Again, a lot of maybes.

"And just like that, he asked me to dinner tonight...in the kitchen." I told Trish.

We were now at lunch at school in the school cafeteria, and I was telling her about what happened between me and Austin after she left. Besides, I had to tell someone this amazing news.

"Awww man, all the good stuff always happens when I leave." she said whining.

I laughed drinking a bit of my water bottle after.

"Well you can help me pick out something to wear for tonight. I know I have nothing in my closet but you can still try." I told her.

"Screw that! Everything that you're wearing tonight will be new, and I'll be your server anyway which makes it better. I can't believe my best friend has a date with Austin Moon." Trish said.

I started to choke on my water a little forgetting to tell her that this wasn't a date...at least he didn't confirm it.

"Woah Trish, it's not a date I don't think. We're just two friends having dinner." I said.

"Ally, you must be crazy if you still think you and Austin are just friends." she said.

"Well I don't want to be just friends with him either but every time I practically hurl myself to him, he takes it at first, but then he just rejects me." I explained.

"Oh that's just how Austin is. I'm still surprised that he even asked a girl out…or whatever he did to you." she told me.

I didn't understand what she meant by being surprised that he technically asked a girl out.

He was Austin Moon, he asked every girl out.

"What do you mean?" I asked confused.

"You don't know?" she asked me looking a little stunned.

There goes these secrets again, how the hell could I possibly not know all this information and I've been living with him for this long.

"No, know what?" I asked.

She looked around the room until she sees Dez and Elliot coming toward us and sat next to us with their lunch trays.

"There you guys are, Ally has another question." she said to them.

"How can we help you?" Elliot asked me.

Apparently they must know something. Who am I kidding? They know everything.

"Oh I was just wondering about Austin again. Trish said that it was shocking he asked me to dinner tonight-" I started to say.

"Wait?! He asked you out on a date?!" Dez asked excitedly.

What is with people and this word?

"Dinner." I corrected him.

"Whatever, it still counts as a date. But I'm surprised, Austin never asks any girl out." Elliot said to me.

"That's actually what I wanted to ask you guys about." I said.

Dez, Trish, and Elliot gave each other the signal they usually did when they knew something I didn't, which kind of annoyed me.

"Okay, I guess we can tell you. You see Ally, 2 years ago right after Trish started working at the Moons Mansion, Austin...gave up dating. He flirts with girls but you have never seen him with a date in a while. Have you?" Dez then asked. I shook my head.

Come to think of it, I didn't see him go on dates. All I saw was him talking to them.

"Exactly. He stopped asking for girls numbers, stopped setting up dates with people, and just gave up altogether." Trish explained.

So that was why every time we almost did something together, he just stopped and freaked out or left.

But the more important question was why? I mean, this guy had more secrets than anyone.

"We tried everything to get him back into shape. Blind dates, speed dates, I even volunteered to let him date my sister once because he was so depressed. We tried everything and nothing worked so we just gave up on it." Elliot then told me.

It was highly unusual that Austin Moon, the most popular guy in school gave up dating 2 years ago.

There was something I would never imagine but now the question was why.

"Well why not?" I asked them.

"That's where we can't help you. No one knows why. Not even me." Dez said.

"You guys have been with him all this time and years and you don't know why?" I asked nicely.

"We were too scared to ask. Every time someone wanted to get into his personal life he always had threaten to fire us and he was so sensitive about the subject." Trish replied.

"And not to mention we couldn't even get him to be in this position he is in now if it wasn't for you." Elliot said.

I smiled to myself and sighed knowing though no matter what I did or do, he wouldn't like me anyway all because he gave up on love.

"Well I'm sure there's a reason, I just have to figure it out." I said sighing.

"Good luck, you're lucky you got him to do this much." Trish said.

I know I could do it, I just had to be subtle with it, and if I had to then I would.

And just then, the school bell ringed as we all got up and began walking as I thought of ways I could find out about Austin's relationship issues...not just for him but for me as well.

"Are we finish yet?" I asked Trish who was now walking around the store.

It had been 2 hours since we had been in here and we only had a few items in my hand that I could wear to me and Austin's date- I mean, dinner.

"Hold on. You're going to look perfect and I'm going to get you there." she said searching through racks.

I began looking around waiting for her to finish until I saw a particular dress that I instantly fell in love with and it was only across the store.

"I'll be right back." I said to her as I began walking away.

I continued walking to it, until I finally reached to my destination and looked at the detailed dress until I felt someone come behind me and I didn't know who it was at first until I heard their voice.

"If it isn't Ally." Ethan said behind me.

I quickly turned around with fear looking at him wondering how he even found me.

"Ethan! What are you doing here?" I asked him scared.

I couldn't get the image of what he really did to me last night and was terrified that he was standing right in front of me.

"I was walking through town, what are you doing here?" he asked causally.

Clearly, he didn't remember that he made fun of my injury yesterday but I did.

Besides Austin told me to stay away from him, so that was what I was going to do.

"I'm sorry, I have to go." I said starting to walk away.

I was about to be free until he grabbed my other hand and turned around, which caused me to jump in fear.

"Why do you keep walking away from me? I thought we were friends." he said to me.

"You thought wrong. Let's not forget what you did at Austin's party." I blurted out.

I quickly covered my mouth, not meaning to say anything relating back to last night.

I could see something form into his eyes but wasn't sure what but it did scare the hell out of me.

"Look, I know what I did last night was wrong and I wanted to make it up to you by taking you out to dinner tonight." he said normally.

I wasn't going to say yes, I had already had plans and even if I didn't...making up for yesterday wouldn't be as easy as this.

"I can't. Now if you excuse me, Austin is waiting for me." I said turning around walking away.

"Oh right, Austin is waiting for you. When are you going to realize that we're better together than him any day Ally?" he shouted to me.

I was surprised at how straightforward he was but turned around still walking backwards.

"Never." I said confidently.

I then turned back around and ran to Trish with the dress I had in my hand, making sure I didn't mention what just happened because to be honest...I didn't even know what happened.

"Ally, where did you go?" she asked a little worried.

"I went to get this...I wanted to know what you thought." I said not trying to bring it up.

She examined it and then her face quickly lit up and started jumping up down excitedly.

"Yes! This perfect! Austin is so going to love you in this! We're getting it and hurry up we only have a few hours to get ready!" she said running to the register as I laughed.

I wasn't going to let Ethan get to me as much as he wanted to.

I had plans with Austin and that was all that mattered...wether it was a date with him or just a dinner.

It was now 6:55pm and I only had 5 minutes to finish getting ready as Trish was finished curling my hair and was spinning me around so she could see how I looked.

"Do I look bad?" I asked inside my room looking into the mirror.

"Are you kidding me? You look hot! If Austin wasn't going to love you in this, then he's crazy." she said.

I smiled and laughed.

"Are you sure?" I asked her.

"Ally, I'm sure. You look beautiful." she said smiling at me.

I quickly smiled as I heard a knock on the door and knew it was Dez coming to get me.

"Come in." I shouted.

The door instantly opened seeing Dez smiling at me.

"Woah! You look amazing. Where is my best friend and what have you done with her?" he asked playfully.

I laughed.

"See! I told you, you look perfect!" Trish said happily.

"Are you ready to go down there Miss Dawson on your date?" Dez then asked walking over to me.

"Dez! I told you, it's a dinner not a date." I said.

"Well it certainly not just a dinner to Austin. He's been panicking all day about it." he said.

I couldn't help but smiled and started to blush at how worried he was just as much as I was.

"Shall we go?" he asked me. I laughed.

"Sure, let's do this." I said happily turning around and heading outside the room as Dez followed behind me.

"Go get him tiger!" I could hear Trish said to me.

I soon made it downstairs but before I knew it, I found myself suddenly in front of the dining room already behind a door.

I can't do this, what if he didn't like what I was wearing or looked like?

Everything would probably be ruined.

Stay calm, you can do this.

"Wait! Do I really look okay?" I asked Dez who was about to open the door.

"Ally, you look amazing. Don't worry so much." he said casually.

Now if Dez was so laid back about this I knew I had nothing to worry about everything would be fine...right?

I sighed and nodded my head trying to get all the nerves out of me, as Dez finally opened the dining room door and began leading me inside, as I could instantly see candlelights everywhere.

Once I was inside, I looked around and saw how beautiful it really was when it was lighted up and began to smile even more when I saw everything set up so perfectly.

I looked up and saw Austin just sitting across the way as he looked at me shocked and I didn't know if I looked okay or not.

"Wow, don't you look amazing." I said to him as I came to him and sat down in the chair next to him.

"I can say the same for you but that's not the word I want to use...more like gorgeous." he finally said snapping back into reality.

I shyly smiled and looked away.

"Uh...thanks." I said smiling.

Once everyone was out of the room beside me and Austin, I could see he was a little nervous and scared that he was here but he wasn't the only one.

Just months ago, I would have hated being in this position right here with him but I didn't know what it was, but there was something there that wasn't there before that made me feel happy.

"Look Ally, before we begin I just want you to know I never really did anything like this before in a long time." he said to me shyly.

"Don't worry Austin, I know." I said to him. He smiled.

"You must know everything huh?" he asked jokingly.

"Not really but I'm hoping to." I said. He chuckled.

"Um...I know this isn't a fancy restaurant that you wanted to go I mean, dating is really not my thing." he then said.

There it was, the answer I was looking for.

"So this is a date?" I asked him.

He looked me tensely and shrugged his shoulders nervously.

"No, I guess it looks that way but-I mean...I know we're not dating but I just wanted-" he started to say.

My face fell a little at how he just came out and said that we weren't dating.

And I guess he saw that since he began panicking a little.

"Oh no, that's not what I meant! It's not that I don't want to date you. I mean, you're beautiful and you're definitely someone I could see myself with, not that I'm being cocky or anything because who am I to tell you who you could see yourself with..." he began to ramble on nervously.

I couldn't say anything. He was just being too perfect for me to say something, but I could tell he was getting more nervous and nervous by the minute and started to laugh at him.

"I'm just making things more awkward aren't I?" he asked shyly.

"No, I find it...quite adorable." I said smiling. He smiled back.

"You know what? Let's skip dinner. I want to you show you something." he said wheeling away from the table grabbing my hand.

"Wait, so you guys are just leaving? After the long hours I put into this dinner tonight?" Trish asked walking in the room hearing what he said.

I looked at her trying to give her a signal that this was one of those moments, where Austin could possibly do something that would make our relationship better.

She then looks at me but then raises her eyebrows nodding her head.

"Ohhhh! Go right ahead." she said smiling stepping back.

I smiled as me and Austin left the dining room and began walking around the house, as I was trying to find out where he was taking me.

"Austin where are we going?" I asked him confused.

"It's a surprise. Close your eyes." he said to me.

I sighed and did so as he lead me to someplace where I could tell wasn't near the rest of the rooms but inside an elevator which was weird since there was only one elevator in this house by the front door...or so I thought.

"Are you ready?" he asked me.

"It depends, what is it?" I asked him.

He laughed and I could hear him and me both get out and lead me inside a room.

I then heard him hop out of the chair putting his warm soft hands over my eyes as I smiled loving the feeling of them on my face.

"You'll see in 5, 4, 3,2, 1." he said softly.

And with that he puts his hands down from my eyes, as I began seeing the room I wasn't suppose to go into, the abandon music room with the picture of him and his little brother that didn't look so abandon anymore...yes that was right, the forbidden room.

"Austin I can't believe it! You fixed it up!" I said excitedly.

"Well I tried...but then my leg went bad on me so I had Dez help me with everything..but eventually it got clean. I actually couldn't believe it was that messy and unorganized since I left it." he explained.

I smiled and felt my heart warm up as I couldn't believe that he himself would do all of this for me...especially in the condition he was in.

"Well it looks incredible." I said turning around to face him as he was still leaning on one leg.

"Thanks, I was hoping you would say that. I didn't know I abandon it so long but I decided to fix it up...just for you. It could be like your home away from home since I noticed you loved music." he said smiling.

I quickly nodded knowing he was going to bring up this up sometime soon.

"Um...what gave it away?" I asked shyly.

"Well every time I came in your room you always had a book next to you that read "Ally's Songbook" he said smiling.

"You have a good eye but thank you…I never imagined anyone doing anything this nice for me before. " I said.

He shyly blushed.

"Well, I have my moments." he started to say jokingly as we both laugh. "Now though, you can come up here anytime you want to and create a new melody or song for your book." he finished.

I looked at him again, shocked that he knew what was in my book now.

"How do you know what's in it?" I asked him curiously. He shrugs apologetically toward me and smiles.

"I kinda looked in it when you were out of your room once…" he answered. I smiled back. "They're really good though. I actually loved each one. I kinda wish I could make music like that one day if I ever got the chance." he then said.

If that was the case, I would be hopeful that I was the first to hear it.

"I'll teach you…if you really want to know." I suggested.

He then chuckles, shaking his head quickly at the offer.

"No, no, no. I wouldn't be able to pull it off no matter how much you try to teach me. Playing piano is one thing but making an actual song…is another." he said hopping over to the piano bench that was in the middle of the room.

I laughed.

"Well, there's only one way to find out." I then told him walking to sit next to him feeling his elbow come in contact in mine, triggering that sharp and amazing feeling I usually got with him as Austin tensed up.

I could see he was scared to do it. He was a bit distant about doing this but he could do this.

I knew this would probably be the first time he ever performed in front of anyone.

So if he needed that encouragement, I would give it to him.

"I don't know-" he started to say.

"Austin come on, I know you probably haven't done this before...but you can trust me." I said smiling.

Austin then looked at me one more time before he finally gave in and sighed, nodding his head.

"Okay, now what?" he asked quietly.

"Now, I'll come up with a tune that sounds good for you and then when you feel like you want to add something to it, feel free." I said.

He looked at him hesitantly and nodded slowly.

"What if it sounds horrible after I do it?" he suddenly asked. I thought about it for a minute.

"I have faith in you that it won't." I told him. He sighed.

He then smiled down at me and cleared his throat a bit.

He was actually going to do this. I wanted to be surprised.

"Well now that you said that…I know I'll do well." he said looking at me carefully.

I blushed and felt myself warming up to him even more.

"Are you ready?" I then asked.

"Ready as I ever will be." he said.

I laughed and began playing something that popped in my head as I kept looking back at Austin who still looked nervous.

I know he could do this. It wasn't that hard and if I was next to him, he should be fine considering I would help him if he needed help.

But before, I knew it I could see he now had joined in and began following along with what I was doing.

Looking at his face, I could see he was smiling and he was actually really happy which was all I knew to make me glad that I told him to do it.

"That's it, you got it." I told him proudly.

As we continue to play around with the piano, I suddenly soon felt his soft warm hands now coming into contact with mines.

We both then stopped playing as our hands were on the same key as I quickly felt that special feeling I always got when I was around him, having a sudden rush of emotions inside me now.

I didn't know if it was just me feeling this, but when I looked over to him…I could see he felt the same thing in a way.

So, before either of us knew it…me and Austin then found ourselves staring at each other intently.

We then began staring at each other more, like it was the last thing we would ever do and in a second...I began leaning into him and he soon began to do the same.

It was happening again, we were going to kiss and there was nothing that I wanted to stop this moment.

We continued to lean in closer and closer to each other until we became only centimeters apart from each other's face.

We could feel the steady slow breath of each other and with that comfort in mind, I leaned one more step forward and crashed my lips on his as he quickly kissed back.

There was the fireworks again, there was all the amazing feeling anyone could possibly feel in their life.

But there's was one thing different about this kiss than the other one...it had a lot more emotion behind it.

It wasn't rough or hard but with something that felt like we were trying to tell each other something…whatever it was.

It was like we wanted to be together, we just couldn't.

I then felt my head getting closer to his as he pulled it down and started making the kiss deeper and deeper by the second, as I did the same.

What was suppose to be the heat of the moment kiss which I'm sure it was, turned into something neither of us could stop.

We just kept going, and going, and going.

I had never felt so much energy and emotions before as I did right here and right now.

I just couldn't believe this was happening again...with my crush too.

But before we could continue, I could feel Austin had to come up for air.

So he stopped and looked up to me as we both were panting, out of breath and still staring at each other as I could see love and compassion in his eyes and smiled as he did the same looking into mine.

Maybe I should teach him how to write a song more often.
