Chapter 1 – The Start of an Incredible Journey

Mount Paozu – Age 749, September 1

11 year old Kakarot armoured in his usual black and light brown battle armour along with black skin tight shorts. The boots he wore boots from similar material as the armour except that it wasn't as hard but it was lighter. It had the same brown pattern on the toe box and the rest of it was white except for the part covering his shin, which was black. Also he had black wrist guards. He had Gohan's Power Pole strapped on his back.

The young Saiyan currently stood before Gohan's grave. Kakarot had buried Gohan in front of a large boulder that the old man used to sit on and meditate. Using his energy, Kakarot engraved into the boulder the words, 'Here lies Son Gohan, a kind but strong man that took in a young Saiyan and taught him many things. He was the closest thing that the Saiyan had to family.'

"Once again, I'm sorry, old man. I seem to say this every day." Kakarot said sincerely. "I didn't take your warnings about the full moon serious enough. I promise you that I will do whatever it takes in order to learn how to control myself when I am in that form. You deserved so much better than what you got. I'm really grateful for everything that you have done for me. I can't promise that I will be able to be everything that you wanted me to be. I can promise you though that I will do my very best to become someone that you can feel a hint of pride for. I'll... I'll come by here again soon."

Kakarot bowed his head for a moment in respect, a mannerism that Gohan had beat into him. It was a gesture that he would only use for Gohan and for Gohan alone. He picked up his scouter from the floor and put it on his left ear enabling the green monocle to cover his left eye. His stomach growled lightly indicating that he was starting to get hungry but before he could, his scouter suddenly bleeped to life.

"A power level of 3... No being with a power level of 3 should be able to move that fast." Kakarot muttered. It couldn't be a bird or something like that as they only had a power level of .5 to 1 at the most. Hawks, eagles etc usually had a power level of 2. Pterodactyls usually have a minimum of 5. However whatever it was, it was moving too fast for a pterodactyl.

"I better go check it out." The Saiyan smirked in excitement. He hoped that it would be at least something interesting because he had grown quite bored since Gohan died. He took off and he began flying towards the incoming power level. He had learnt how to fly in the past year, but he couldn't last very long before all of his energy was extinguished.

In only a few minutes he reached the mountain side and saw something moving extremely quickly along the road. It moved way faster than he could run. A small ball of blue energy suddenly appeared in Kakarot's right hand and, with a playful grin, he threw it towards the target. The ball of energy crashed into the ground creating a small explosion a few metres in front of the target causing it to swerve and crash into the mountain wall lightly.

"What the hell was that?!" A loud shriek came from the metal object and out of the door stepped out a beautiful teenage girl with long cyan hair in a pony tail, blue eyes and a pink shirt and skirt and along her chest was the word, Bulma.

"Huh? What happened?" Kakarot muttered in confusion after he descended to the road with his arms folded across his chest, "I thought it would have been harder to hit than that considering how fast it was going."

"You're the one that made me crash?!" The teen shouted incredulously and she pulled out a hand gun from her bag. She fired three shots at the Saiyan while shouting, "I could've been killed!"

Kakarot didn't flinch when two of the bullets collided with his battle armour however he quickly caught the one that would have ruined his scouter. Kakarot dropped the bullet and said to the girl angrily, "Watch where you fire those! I only have one of these devices!"

The scouter that he wore was very precious to Kakarot, only the orange orb with four stars on it was just as important to Kakarot, as it had been Gohan's. Without his scouter then he would be completely blind since he wouldn't be able to pick up any power levels.

Raising her hands in surrender, the girl dropped her gun to the ground completely shocked that they had no effect on this boy.

"That's much better. That little gadget must be one of those guns that Gohan told me about. No wonder this planet isn't filled with many strong warriors when they use these as a crutch." Kakarot mused quietly before he focused back on the girl, "Who are you, anyway? And why are you here?"

"My name is Bulma and I'm here searching for a rare artifact." Bulma answered hastily. It would be best if she didn't tell him what she was truly searching for.

"Bulma, is it? Doesn't that mean bloomers or something?" Kakarot pondered out loud much to the girl's ire but she wasn't able to retort as Kakarot had cut her off, "What are these artifacts that you are looking for?"

Bulma pulled out two small orange balls from her bag and they both had red stars on them. One of them had 2 stars and the other had 5 stars.

Kakarot raised an eyebrow when he saw them and noted, "Gohan had one of those with four stars on it."

"So you know where it is." Bulma said excitedly. "Can I have it, please?!"

"Nope," Kakarot replied bluntly, "I have no intention to give it to anyone."

"How about I make it worth your while," Bulma grinned slyly, there was no doubt in her mind what it would take to convince the young boy. He was just getting to that age when boys were only interested in one thing, and she lifted her skirt slightly, "I'll give you a peek of my underwear."

Kakarot tilted his head slightly, unsure what the big deal was about seeing her underwear.

"Show me your underwear." Kakarot bluntly replied.

Bulma turned around with a grin, boys were so easy, the young girl thought triumphantly. Of course it helped that she was such a good looking babe and now she was about to get her third Dragon Ball. The purple haired teen bent forward slightly and she pulled up her skirt revealing her backside covered in white cotton panties.

"Do you like what you see?" Bulma whispered softly, "You should feel lucky, seeing a beauty like me show you their underwear."

"I don't see what the big deal is." Kakarot muttered in confusion and he reached out with his right hand and he caressed the panty covered backside softly. It felt a lot softer than what he thought it would.

"What the hell are you doing?!" Bulma spun around and she slapped his hand harshly, "I never said you could touch me, you little perv!"

"You never said I couldn't touch it!" Kakarot countered, "What is so important about these objects anyway?" the Saiyan asked her.

"They are just very valuable and rare." Bulma lied.

"I see, so you're the type of girl that is willing to show her underwear to get these artifacts," Kakarot smirked at her, "I wonder what else you would be willing to do."

"I don't have to explain myself to you!" Bulma screeched at him with a red face, "Now give me the Dragon Ball!"

"I don't feel like it." Kakarot scoffed, folding his arms across his chest.

"I kept up my end of the bargain!" Bulma reminded him, "I showed you my underwear and now you have to give me the artifact that you have!"

"When did I agree to give it to you?" Kakarot asked her smugly, "I told you to show me your underwear and you did but I never said that I would give you Gohan's ball."

Bulma just screamed in frustration. She had been tricked by a child.

"Now, how about you tell me what is so special about these artifacts that you are collecting." Kakarot forcefully suggested.

"Give me a reason why should I tell you anything!" Bulma retorted angrily.

Kakarot answered by walking over to her car, bending down and with a grunt, he lifted it over his head. "This is why." Kakarot replied and he threw the car a few feet in the air. Bulma could only watch with wide eyes as her car was thrown in the air and crashed heavily onto the ground. It didn't take a genius to figure out just by looking at it that her car wouldn't work anymore.

"Okay! Okay!" Bulma shouted, fearful at the boy's strength, "They are called Dragon Balls!"

"Dragon Balls?" Kakarot asked skeptically, "What purpose do they serve?"

"If you gather all seven then you can summon the dragon and he will fulfil any wish." Bulma answered honestly. How did she get into this situation? At the mercy of a child, how humiliating but then again this clearly wasn't an ordinary kid.

"Any wish?" Kakarot muttered his thoughts racing on the possible wishes he could make.

This could be the key to finding out the answer that he longed for. Ever since he came to Earth, he had been plague with confusion on why he was sent here. From what he understood about the Saiyan race, is that they send children to distant planets in order to conquer them but Kakarot had tripled checked his Space Pod. There were no such orders to wipe out the inhabitants on Earth. So why was he here? Why did his parents send him here without any orders? Perhaps he can wish for these answers, Kakarot thought hopefully. It was worth a shot.

"Bulma!" Kakarot suddenly shouted startling the young girl who had been forced to watch Kakarot think in silence.

"What is it?" Bulma asked nervously.

"How did you know there was a Dragon Ball in this area?" the Saiyan asked her suspiciously.

"I used my radar that pinpoints the Dragon Balls location." Bulma replied somewhat proudly as she withdrew the device from her bag. She held up the small device so he could see, "I discovered a way to hone in on the faint electromagnetic pulse that each Dragon Ball emit. However this device is extremely delicate and the only person on the entire planet that knows how to fix it, should it get broken, is me." Bulma told him confidently. Never let it be said that he brains didn't match up with her beauty, Bulma thought victoriously. That information should prevent this boy from stealing her radar and Dragon Balls because if he broke it, then he couldn't do anything about it without her.

"You made this?" Kakarot asked interested.

"That is correct!" Bulma bragged loudly, "I am, after all, Bulma Briefs the heir of Capsule Corporation that was created by my father!"

"Capsule Corporation?" Kakarot questioned curiously. He had heard of that name before, he was sure that Gohan had mentioned it at some point.

"Capsule Corporation is one of the richest, major and most powerful companies in the world." Bulma explained.

"Okay Bulma..." Kakarot informed her calmly. "You will aid me in collecting the Dragon Balls so I can make my wish."

Bulma scowled, "What's in it for me?!"

Kakarot rolled his eyes, "You will have a Saiyan as your bodyguard."

"What's a Saiyan?" Bulma asked completely unfamiliar with the word.

"I'm a Saiyan." Kakarot explained, "I am a member of the most powerful warrior race in the entire universe. How many humans have you see that can stop a bullet?"

"That's true," Bulma murmured thoughtfully. Considering how beautiful she was, there was no doubt many men would want to have a piece of her. Even if it was against her will and so she needed someone as strong as Kakarot to protect her. However what Kakarot just said finally managed to reach her brain, "You are an alien?" Bulma squeaked in disbelief.

Kakarot nodded and he unwrapped his tail that had been tied around his waist which made Bulma finally notice it, "That is why I have a tail."

"I-I see." 'I thought that was a brown furry belt.' Bulma thought incredulously.

"Do we have an agreement?" Kakarot questioned her.

"Yes, alright. I agree." Bulma replied but internally thought, 'I will get my wish for a perfect boyfriend, so I will just have to wait for the chance to outsmart him. Hopefully an opportunity will prevent itself.'

"Okay, I will go get Gohan's Dragon Ball and then we will depart but before I go I want to ask you a question." Kakarot informed her.

"What is it?" Bulma asked annoyed with her arms folded just under her breasts unknowingly enhancing their size.

"Why are you wearing clothes? I thought the young females on this planet didn't wear clothes." Kakarot asked her in genuine confusion.

"OF COURSE I WEAR CLOTHES, YOU IDIOT! HOW COULD YOU EVEN THINK THAT?!" Bulma shouted furiously. With her life no longer being threatened, she found herself slipping back to her usual confident self.

"I've never see a human girl in real life before. In fact the only female I have seen is my mother, and that was only briefly."

"Was she wearing clothes?" Bulma said scathingly, still fuming at Kakarot's question.

"Yes, but she is a Saiyan." Kakarot retorted, "The only female humans that I have seen are the naked ones in Gohan's magazines. It doesn't exactly help when the only female I have seen on this planet was willing to show her panties for an object!" The Saiyan explained to her, "The only thing that Gohan told me about the females on this planet is that I should be extremely nice to them."

"Gohan sounds like a smart man, but if he told you that, then why haven't you treated me nicely?" Bulma frowned at him.

"Just because he told me to do something, doesn't mean that I will always do as he said." Kakarot smirked at her.

"Is this Gohan an old man?" Bulma questioned annoyed remembering the comment about naked girls in magazines.

Kakarot nodded, 'Well, he was.'

'Dirty old leach.' Bulma thought angrily. "Just go get the Dragon Ball."

Kakarot rolled his eyes at her commanding tone before flying off, 'Man, she sure is bossy. This is going to be a long journey.'

Open Terrain – Later that Night

"Why the hell did you stop suddenly?" Kakarot complained as Bulma suddenly stopped the vehicle that they had been riding. At first Kakarot was skeptical about riding a motorcycle when he could just fly but he had to admit that it was certainly more fun than he had thought it would be.

"I have to make a pit stop." Bulma replied annoyed as Kakarot removed his hands from her waist so she could get off the bike. "Excuse me. I'll be back in a sec."

Kakarot glanced around at the new surroundings he was in and he saw that the ground was covered in rock and grass, but he didn't see any reason to stop. It was an odd sight. The young Saiyan had never left the forest in his whole life and so he was amazed to see such an open field with little trees.

"Why? Where are you going?" Kakarot asked confused when he saw Bulma run towards a large boulder.

A tick mark appeared above Bulma's left eye, even though Kakarot couldn't see it and she yelled back, "Don't you have any idea what a lady means when she says 'excuse me,' you oaf!"

"How hard is it to just say, 'Excuse me, I have to go to the bathroom.'" Kakarot muttered crossly, his arms folded across his chest, "She has no right calling someone oaf!"

"AHHH!" A loud female shriek pierced his ears uncomfortably and he flinched from it. Considering that Bulma had just called him an oaf, the Saiyan was tempted to leave her alone but he needed her to get the Dragon Balls.

The moment Kakarot had appeared behind the boulder where Bulma was, he immediately saw why she had screamed. A large green and yellow Pterodactyl was holding a struggling Bulma in his claws. It was quite clear that he intended to devour Bulma for dinner.

"Brat, who are you?! Are you part of her pack?!" The Pterodactyl growled menacingly.

Kakarot didn't even bother giving the Pterodactyl an answer and instead buried a fist into the dinosaur's stomach. The force of the blow made the dinosaur cough up blood and his grip on Bulma loosened allowing her to slip out of his grip. Bulma grunted painfully when she hit the ground and she quickly crawled behind Kakarot.

"You will regret that, you little bastard!" the Pterodactyl growled as he grabbed his stomach in pain.

"For a carnivore, you aren't very strong." Kakarot taunted him with a smirk on his face, "I guess we will be having Pterodactyl for dinner."

The flying dinosaur roared and he shot forwards, attempting to clamp onto the Saiyan with his large jaws. Kakarot dodged the attack easily by jumping into the air. The dinosaur's jaws bit into the ground where Kakarot had just been and he coughed up the rocks and dirt that he had bit on. Kakarot used the opening to swing his left foot into the back of the dinosaur's head. The force of the blow sent him face first into the ground, unconscious.

Kakarot landed back onto the ground and he began walking slowly towards the downed dinosaur. Bulma on the other hand sighed in relief, now safe from being eaten by that terrible dinosaur. It was a good thing that she had meet this boy otherwise she would have been in digested in a dinosaur's stomach by tomorrow morning.

"What's the time woman?" Kakarot asked arrogantly, feeling completely caught up in the thrill of his victory albeit against a weakling. Gohan had tried his best to tamper with the Saiyans more negative qualities such as his arrogance and killer instinct.

"My name is Bulma not woman!" Bulma yelled at him angrily. Who did this kid think he was treating a beauty like her, Bulma thought unhappily. Kakarot gave the girl a hard look and she relented, feeling aggravated by the young alien. "Its 5:30pm."

Kakarot nodded, and muttered under his breath so she didn't hear, "Took your time answering."

The Saiyan held out his palm towards the unconscious dinosaur and a light blue ball of energy formed in his palm. He glanced back at Bulma and he asked her, "Is Pterodactyl for dinner okay with you?"

Bulma gave him a disgusted look, "You aren't serious about eating that, are you?"

"Of course I am," Kakarot answered, confusion lacing his voice, "Why wouldn't I be? I've eaten snakes, raptors, crocodiles, Tyrannosaurus's, wolves and plenty of other things."

"What have I gotten myself into?" Bulma asked miserably to no one in particular. Deciding that she couldn't stand to see the sight of the Saiyan eating the dinosaur, she threw one of her Dynocaps into an open space. To Kakarot's astonishment, out of the capsule appeared a rounded house.

"Holy crap!" Kakarot shouted, "You really can store a house in one of those?!" That's what Gohan had told him, the Saiyan realised. Capsule Corporation is that huge company that made those Dynocaps.

"Obviously," Bulma rolled her eyes, "there are many things that can be stores into Dynocaps. I would know after all since my dad invented them. Now if you're going to eat that dinosaur then you have to eat it outside. I don't want to see it!" Bulma informed him coldly.

"That's fine by me." Kakarot replied indifferently. Bulma hurried inside so she could avoid seeing the final blow that Kakarot would deliver to the winged dinosaur.

Kakarot fired the small energy ball at the head of the Pterodactyl, vaporising it. He then placed the now headless corpse on a log and he tied it up tightly. He then quickly gathered wood for the fire that would cook his dinner. After he collected all of the necessary equipment to cook the dinosaur, he shaped two logs into stands to hold up the dinosaur over the fire. The Saiyan used another energy blast to create the fire and he sat back and waited for his food to finish cooking. It was in the quiet times like this that Kakarot fell into his darker thoughts.

Ever since he came to this planet, he had dark thoughts about the reasons why he was sent here. If it was to wipe out the people of this planet, then Kakarot had to prepare for the consequences. That mission was something that he was no longer capable of doing thanks to Gohan's influence. When he was six years old, he had attempted to kill a group of innocent monkeys because he had been bored but Gohan had stopped him. The old man had then proceeded to grab Kakarot's tail, forcing him to lose all of his power, and slammed him into the ground a few times. Gohan had then lectured him about how it was only necessary to kill innocent animals for sustenance. He also said that even little animals like monkeys can teach humans and even Saiyans something. The old man had been right, Kakarot discovered later. He had observed the monkeys a couple of times since then to try and understand what the old man was talking about and to his amazement they could grab each other's tails with no negative effects. Kakarot then played with the monkeys, although Kakarot thought it as training, in order to get rid of his weakness when somebody grabbed his tail.

Kakarot looked around the house that he had just entered after dinner, with interest. It was a relatively clean place and it looked like it could contain a lot of people. Kakarot noticed that Bulma was sitting at a small circular table just finishing her plain looking dinner. He sat down opposite her and he asked her a question that had been on his mind since he learned about the Dragon Balls.

"Before I came along, what did you plan to use the Dragon Balls for?"

The Next Morning

Kakarot wasn't pleased with Bulma's answer the previous night. The young Saiyan was currently training just outside of the capsule house in order to release some of his pent up aggression. Bulma had informed him that she planned to wish for the perfect boyfriend before she headed to bed. Kakarot didn't even get the chance to argue, not that he wanted to. All he knew was that there was no way he was going to allow Bulma to make a crumby wish like that, not when he desired to know so much about his heritage and his past. However he had to be careful since he knew that Bulma was probably more intelligent than he was.

During his morning workout, Kakarot ended up discovering a turtle that had been trying to get back to the ocean for over a year. The Saiyan told him that he would like to help him but he was on an important journey right now. After seeing him trained, Turtle informed him that he was friends with the martial arts master, the turtle hermit, Roshi. Upon hearing the name of the man that had trained Gohan, Kakarot eagerly offered to take the turtle back to the sea if Roshi trained him when he was finished with his mission. Turtle promised that once Roshi learned that Kakarot was trained by Gohan, then he would eagerly take him on as a student. When Bulma came outside – after taking hours to do her hair – Turtle requested some sea water to drink, which Bulma provided. Kakarot then informed her that he was taking Turtle to the ocean. Bulma ejected this idea as the ocean was 100 miles away but Kakarot pointed out that she didn't have to come with him. Just as he put Turtle on his back, Kakarot reminded her that he still had Gohan's Dragon Ball, so without him, then she had no chance of getting her wish. Bulma relented and, as Kakarot ran towards the ocean, deciding not to fly just at the moment; Bulma had to jump on a motor bike just to keep up with Kakarot's speed.

Just as they were closing in on their journey to the ocean, they were cut off by a large bear thief that wielded a large Chinese broadsword.

"What do you want?" Kakarot said annoyed, shuffling Turtle on his back slightly.

"I want your Turtle!" the bear ordered fiercely, saliva dropping rapidly from his sharp teeth, "I just love to eat Turtle, not fond of humans however as they give me heart burn. Since I'm so generous, leave the Turtle and I will let you all live."

"I think we should do what he says." Bulma said fearfully.

"There is no chance I am allowing Turtle to be eaten," Kakarot declared, frowning at the enemy before him, "he is my ticket to getting trained by Roshi!" The Saiyan placed Turtle onto the ground.

The bear thief just grinned at the boy's cocky attitude, "I know I just said that eating humans gives me heartburns but for you I will make an exception."

Kakarot's scouter beeped to life and he analysed the bear's power level. "You seem pretty cocky for an inferior being... your power level is only at 7."

The bear thief looked interested at the device on his face, "That little trinket will surely be worth some money, I'll take that off your corpse and sell it."

"You didn't just decide to take my scouter, did you?" Kakarot whispered threateningly, his face now set into a deep scowl, and he pulled out his Power Pole. "You have threatened to take my scouter, threatened to eat me and the key that will get me training from Roshi. I will give you this last chance to walk away. If you don't then I will kill you!"

The bear laughed loudly, "Don't tell me you think that your puny little stick can withstand the power of my Azure Dragon Sword."

"That's a fancy name. It's a shame that it won't be able to help you." Kakarot commented with a smirk, "Show me what it can do!"

"Fine, then take this, kid!" The bear and he swung down his large blade towards Kakarot's head but the Saiyan vanished. The bear's eyes widened when his sword slashed through air and smashed into the ground sending up a shockwave.

"You're going to have to be much faster than that." A voice said from behind him and the bear spun around to see Kakarot standing a few feet away, his Power Pole rested against his shoulder.

"How did you do that?!" the bear thief asked him in puzzlement and fear.

"It doesn't really matter." Kakarot told him indifferently, "I gave you a chance to live but you rejected it," the Saiyan said softly and faster than the bear could react, Kakarot was above him and the Saiyan slammed the Power Pole into the thief's head.

"He has some real skill." Turtle said impressed, 'No doubt Master Roshi would be interested in teaching this boy, especially if he has been trained by Gohan.'

Kakarot looked down at the unconscious bear their before he fired a piercing energy beam through his head, killing him instantly.

"I don't want to see that!" Bulma protested in disgust at the sight of the bear's blood.

"Did you really have to do that, Kakarot?" Turtle questioned him, 'Master Roshi will need to put a stamp on this boy's killing tendency it would seem.'

"I gave him a chance to walk away," Kakarot bluntly told them as he approached them. The Saiyan picked up Turtle and placed him on his back, "he chose to fight and so he paid the price of his foolishness. Now let's get going, we're almost there!"

It took them just over 30 minutes to finally reach the ocean and Kakarot had never seen such an amazing sight. He had never seen the sea since he arrived on this planet, he had always been curious about it since Gohan told him all about it but he had been more focused on training than he had on exploring the world.

"It's so blue and sparkly," Kakarot said in awe after he placed Turtle on the sandy ground, "I've never seen anything like it."

"What's the big deal?" Bulma scoffed at him, "It's just the sea."

"I really appreciate you bringing me here." Turtle told Kakarot gratefully as he entered the salty water, "I will go and get Master Roshi. Just wait here until I come back."

Beach – Mid Afternoon

It took several hours – several boring hours – for Turtle to return with Master Roshi on his back. Kakarot raised an eyebrow at the appearance of the man that had trained Gohan. He was bald, with a thick fu-manchu moustache and a thick beard. He wore an orange martial arts suit with blue pants and he had a pair of sunglasses on. He also held a wooden walking stick.

"Just what we need... an old man." Bulma muttered annoyed.

"Hello there, kids." The old man greeted them and he jumped off Turtle's back onto the sandy ground. "You must be the ones that helped Turtle."

"That's us." Bulma replied swiftly. The purple haired young teen wanted to get this over and done with quickly as she had been waiting at this beach for hours.

"Are you the Master Roshi?!" Kakarot asked surprised, "The one that trained Gohan?"

"That's my name." Roshi answered the Saiyan, "A weird hairdo, strange looking armour, some kind of device on your face and a tail." Roshi looked carefully at the young boy, "You must be the Saiyan child that Gohan told me about."

"That's me," Kakarot acknowledged, "I take it that Turtle told you the reason why I helped him."

"For you to want to train under me must mean that you have surpassed Gohan's training." Roshi said with some amazement. It wasn't everyday that a kid could surpass Gohan's training. "How is Gohan doing, anyway?"

Kakarot looked away, "Gohan died a few years ago." The Saiyan informed him sadly.

"What?!" Roshi shouted in disbelief. How could he have not of heard of this before? The memories of training Gohan flashed through his mind. "I'm sorry to hear that." The old master told Kakarot sincerely. He perked up suddenly when he remembered why Kakarot wanted to meet him, "You wanted me to train you, didn't you?" at Kakarot's nod, he continued, "Then how about you come with me to my island and we will begin the training."

"That would be great!" Kakarot said excitedly, but he had a goal he needed to accomplished first, "However it will have to wait. I have a mission I need to finish first."

Kakarot could have sworn he head Bulma sigh in relief.

"Very well," Roshi conceded, "Once you have finished, come to my Island and we will begin training."

It was then that Bulma took notice of the item hanging around Roshi's neck.

"Can I have that?!" Bulma demanded Roshi, after walking up to him and pointing at the ball hanging around his neck.

Roshi looked at her in surprise, and he suddenly felt very foolish for not noticing the beautiful teen girl earlier. Kakarot also took notice of the Dragon Ball and felt rather idiotic that he hadn't noticed it up until now.

"Did this young girl help you too?" Roshi asked Turtle curiously.

"No," Turtle shook his head, "Just the boy."

"What?!" Bulma protested angrily, "Who gave you the salt water?!"

"I've grown very fond of this trinket... it would be hard to part with it." Roshi mused and he looked closely at Bulma's figure. Bulma shivered at Roshi's not so subtle attention on her body. Her fears grew deeper when a perverted looking grin appeared on his face. "I suppose I could give it to you if you give me a peek of your underwear."

"M-my underwear?!" Bulma retorted with an embarrassed and blush on her face. It was one thing her offering to show it off to a young boy to get what she wanted, but showing off her body to an old man was something else entirely. Unlike a young teen, an old pervert wasn't innocent. "You can't be serious!"

Roshi nodded eagerly, his perverted grin never leaving his face.

Kakarot raised an eyebrow and folded his arms at Roshi's request. He wondered why Roshi was so interested in seeing Bulma's underwear. He hadn't been that interested initially when she showed him, although he had grown curious about what was under her panties. He found out the answer this morning.

"Master, what are you doing?!" Turtle shouted angrily, "Have you forgotten about your code, Master?! That's wrong! Dead wrong!"

"Cut me some slack! It's hard being the Turtle Hermit!" Roshi retorted, 'I just knew that Turtle coming back was going to spoil my fun. It was a fun year while it lasted.' "I deserve to have a little fun!"

"Well, I guess if it's only my underwear... this is so embarrassing." Bulma said nervously, fiddling with the hem of her pink one piece dress. "Look fast!" Bulma shouted and she lifted up her dress, exposing her lower body to all those around her. Blood gushed out of Roshi's nose as he looked upon her exposed privates while Kakarot had a clear view of her nice, firm backside.

Kakarot smirked, 'Didn't she realise that she wasn't wearing any underwear?' He had to admit, he didn't know why but he appreciated the view.

"There done! That's it!" Bulma lowered her dress and she looked away from the old pervert.

"I always say, live right and life will throw you a prize now and then!" Roshi muttered happily, wiping away the blood from his nose. He eagerly handed over the Dragon Ball to a very happy Bulma.

Soon the group split up into two and went their separate ways. Roshi and Turtle headed back to the old master's island while Kakarot and Bulma headed back to the Capsule house.

Once the Saiyan and female human teen arrived back at the Capsule house, Bulma finally noticed something that was seriously wrong when she entered the house. Bulma had found the panties that she had been wearing the previous night lying on the floor. The same panties that she thought she still had on.

"What are you screaming about?!" Kakarot barged into the house after he heard Bulma scream. Inside he saw her holding the pair of underwear that he had taken off her early this morning. He had done this for a couple of reasons. One: he had been curious about why Gohan was so interested in looking at naked girls in his magazines. Second: After Bulma had shown him her underwear, he wanted to see what her privates looked like. Were they the same as the girls in the magazines? Third: It's what she deserved for the desire to collect and use the Dragon Balls for such a pathetic wish.

Bulma swiftly patted the areas on her dress where her underwear should be and she felt no other material under her dress. That meant only one thing.

"I'm not wearing any underwear!" Bulma shouted horrified.

"You mean the underwear I took off you this morning." Kakarot chuckled slightly, "How could you have not realised that you weren't wearing any underwear?"

Bulma wasn't interested in understanding Kakarot's questioned, and instead she looked over at him with a demonic look on her face. "You took off my underwear!" Bulma snarled dangerously.

"I was curious." Kakarot shrugged with a light smirk on his face.

Not caring about the abilities that Kakarot possessed thanks to her anger clouding her judgement, Bulma pulled out a machine gun and began shooting furiously at Kakarot. The Saiyan quickly spun around so the bullets only hit his back and there was no risk on damaging his scouter. When the bullets finally ceased hitting him, he turned back to her a scowl on his face and he barked, "What the hell was that for, woman?!"

"I don't care if you're some sort of powerful alien fighter, if you do that again then next time I will shoot to kill!" Bulma warned him angrily.

Kakarot rolled his eyes. Like he had thought, this was going to be a long journey.
