I just want to say Thank You. Everybody that has followed/Favorited/Reviewed!

I am grateful that you enjoyed this story. I am Sad to see it end but i felt like i had nowhere else i could take it and i didn't want too leave you all waiting any longer for an update.

I would also like to say that I have rewritten my previous chapter, If you haven't already, Please read it, If you want The Daroline version of events

She remembered waking to find Bonnie and Jeremy sat beside her bed, Bonnie was sobbing in his arms.

Caroline was worried about her boys, All she wanted to do was hold Liam in her arms and never let him go again and then she wanted to kiss Klaus and tell him she loved him no matter what.

Then she remembered discovering she may never walk again,

the fear that swallowed her whole but somehow Klaus pulled her though it; He promised he'd never leave again.

She was shocked with other news she'd received, Scared of Klaus' reaction but he took it; He dealt with it better than she had expected.

Flashback

Caroline was laying on her front as they wheeled them into hospital, the paramedic had told her to calm down but she couldn't not without knowing Liam or Klaus were safe.

A hand gripped her hand firmly as they rushed her away "They're okay, I'll take care of them" Caroline looked up to face Damon a warm caring smile on his face.

She simply nodded as they rushed her into theater.

"Where's Mom?" Liam questioned as he flicked through the magazine Damon had brought him while they waited in the family room, The three men Caroline cared the most about.

"They're just trying to fix her up Mate, She needs help to get better so she can come home" Klaus said resting a reassuring hand on his sons shoulder as he looked towards Damon offering him a kind smile.

"Family of Caroline Forbes?" The doctor said as he entered the room, Klaus and Damon stood at the same time awkwardly looking towards the doctor

"We've managed to remove all the glass fragments from her skin and we're putting her on antibiotics to prevent an infection but we won't know if there is anymore until she wakes up"

"What do you mean?" Damon questioned concerned.

"We don't know if she'll be paralyzed, we found a large piece of glass embedded between her vertebra touching a nerve" Klaus stumbled back shocked beside Liam.

"Is my mom going to be okay?" Liam asked his father, Looking at the little boy and seeing Caroline Klaus didn't know what to say.

"She'll be awake soon" Damon replied saving Klaus from his question.

"Why don't we go and get you home and changed while your dad wakes your mom up?" Liam nodded as he jumped from his seat making his way towards the door.

Klaus watched him as he walked beside Damon, He was jealous of the bond they shared

"Wait a minute" Liam said as he turned and rushed towards Klaus and wrapping his arms around his fathers neck

"I love you dad" Klaus voluntarily embraced his son holding him a little to tight just so he could cling onto this moment

"I love you too Mate" Liam pulled from Klaus and rushed back to Damon leaving Klaus alone.

"I was so worried Care, I forced Jeremy to bring me straight away, I hope you don't mind; We shut the grill early tonight" Caroline shook her head smiling

"It's okay Bonnie, I promise. I'll just be glad to get home"

The door opened revealing Klaus "Hey"

Caroline beamed as he stepped closer towards her "Don't ever do that again" He scolded her pulling her tightly into his arms.

"We'll leave you two alone" Bonnie said as she ushered Jeremy out of the room.

"Is Liam okay? What about you?" Klaus chuckled as he kissed her forehead and pulled away.

"Liam is fine, He's heading home with Damon to get changed and to eat something. Me, I've been worried sick that I would never see you open those beautiful eyes again" Caroline's eyes filled with tears as she watched him

"You were scared I'd leave you. I've told you one to many times Niklaus Mikaelson I'll never leave you" Klaus reached for her hand as he took the seat beside her.

"Have you been able to move your legs?" Caroline looked at him

"What do you mean?" Klaus didn't say a word as he touched her leg gently squeezing it

"I can't feel my legs" Caroline said.

Her body shook as she sobbed "What's happening?" She screamed angrily.

Klaus stood from the bed trying to help calm her "Come on sweetheart, We'll be okay" Caroline continued screaming angrily.

"Miss Forbes" The doctors rushed in towards her

"Is something wrong?" Caroline lifted the bed sheet to reveal her legs

"I can't feel them" She cried.

Stefan and Elena rushed in worriedly "What's wrong?" Stefan asked Klaus, his eyes searching for Caroline.

"Lets go outside" Klaus said walking with them through the door.

"What is it?" Klaus sat on the chair outside her room looking up towards Stefan and Elena

"They think she might be paralyzed" Stefan looked at Elena then back to the room

"permanently or temporary?" Klaus shrugged his shoulders

"Honestly I don't know, I just know that she is going to need all of her friends right now" Elena nodded

"We're here, No matter our differences Klaus, She's our friend and we'll stand by her" Klaus smiled a little just as the doctor exited the room

"Mr Mikaelson, She's asking for you" Klaus shot up and walked back into the room to find a saddened Caroline

"It's okay love, We'll deal with it together"

"That's not what's wrong, You need to take a seat" Klaus was confused by her tone.

"Okay" He said sitting down beside her.

"They had to take my bloods earlier during surgery and they found an abnormality" Klaus felt like the air had been knocked from his lungs

"Abnormality?" Klaus questioned.

Caroline nodded "They said I'm pregnant" Klaus' eyes widen as his fear was replaced with joy and happiness

"That's great news" He beamed.

Caroline shock her head "What if it's Damon's? Will you still want us?" Klaus was astonished

"It doesn't matter, I missed out on raising my son and I'm not missing second of this" Caroline's eyes welled up as a wide smile graced her face

"Promise you won't leave me this time." She begged.

Klaus nodded "I promise"

As promised Klaus never left her side, He helped her walk again,

eight and a half months pregnant she finally built up the strength to walk, the day she went into premature labor.

Twelve hours of puffing and panting she delivered a small but healthy perfect baby boy, Jamie Damon Mikaelson.

They didn't need the DNA test, he was the identical image to Klaus, his perfect light blue eyes matched his and the curly hair on top of his head.

Liam was excited meeting his new brother he even brought him a teddy bear wearing a batman cape.

Esther couldn't wait too meet her new grandson, she held him tightly in her arms rocking him soothingly while Caroline rested.

"He's beautiful, just like you Niklaus" She said as the little boy suckled on his hand.

"Caroline said he looks like me and Liam, I think he looks like her"

Esther chuckled "He has your eyes and hair but he certainly has Caroline's nose and mouth"

Klaus smiled happily, as he looked over at his son.

Two years on Klaus and Liam spent their Sunday's playing football with Kol and Jeremy while Caroline spent time with Bonnie and Lexi cooing over Bonnie and Jeremy's new born daughter Evie.

Jamie would toddle around the room destroying everything he could get his hands on while Caroline would chase him around the room.

She still saw Damon at Liam's matches or for get together but they'd distanced themselves from each other, Damon started dating Rose officially the year before.

He introduced her to Liam at the grill while he had his ice cream night with his friends.

Rose startled Damon and Caroline by announcing Klaus was her cousin.

Three years on Caroline and Klaus welcomed two new Editions to their family, their daughter Lana Elizabeth Mikaelson and a puppy named Astrid.

Klaus' career took off giving him the opportunity to work in New Orleans something he'd always wanted to do,

He was ready to refuse it when Caroline demanded that he take the job,

within a month Caroline bid her friends goodbye and told them that she'd be back to visit or that they would be welcome to visit them any time they wanted.

New Orleans was different to Mystic Falls but their new house was too large for a family for five with a dog.

After three months of living their Kol and Lexi came to visit but opted on staying because the night life enticed Kol.

Klaus made a friend out of his colleague Marcel and Caroline arranged play dates with his wife Camille and their daughter Ashley.

While they were on a romantic break in Paris, they were in the middle of The Louvre and he dropped to his knee

"Caroline, You're like a light shinning brightly within my soul and I cannot go another day without you. Will you marry me?"

Caroline didn't say a word as the other visitors started at them smiling and cheering, She nodded as he stood from his knee and sliding the ring on her finger.

Their wedding was held in a church that Camille's Uncle was a priest, Caroline had her closest friends as her bridesmaids,

Katherine being her made of honour.

She had Evie, Lana and Katherine's daughter Savannah and Elena's daughter Ruth and Matt and Rebekah's daughters Eliza and Aria as their flower girls.

Stefan stood beside Caroline walking her towards Klaus because despite everything her father still couldn't accept her happiness.

Damon and Rose attended the ceremony, He later announced to Caroline that he and Rose had learned they were expecting their first child;

Caroline was overjoyed,

she'd long let the love she once felt for Damon fade within her heart and replaced it with love for her children and Klaus but Damon would always have a piece of her heart hidden under all the fresh memories.

Caroline opened the diary in front of her, Inside she peered at each photograph taking in each scene before her,

The moments between Stefan, Damon, Alaric and herself in the Salvatore backyard.

Then the teenage drama queen faze that she went through in high school.

She laughed at the photos with her and Stefan and his hero hair as Damon always called it.

A small smile light up her face as a photo of Damon and Liam sat on her Mom's front porch smiling at each other stared up at her,.

Browsing a few pages ahead she found the picture of her mother sat behind the steering wheel of her police cruiser; Liam sat on her lap holding the wheel and giggling while the blue lights flashed.

Her eyes filled with fresh tears as she remembered the woman that she may not have always seen eye to eye with but loved her completely.

Her eyes caught a photograph ripped in the corner just above her head outside the Grill a year after her mom had died and she brought it, She and Stefan stood outside grinning from ear to ear at their new found success.

Flicking through the pages she found all the people that she loved that had touched Hers and Liam's life's throughout the years,

These people made her family, they may not all get along but she loved them all.

"What are you doing Love?" Klaus asked leaning against the door frame his arms folded against his chest

"Oh nothing" She said folding the large photo album closed.

Standing from the table she walked to the cupboard that she kept it

"Reminiscing again Sweetheart" He said knowingly.

Caroline sighed a small smile spreading across her mouth "

You caught me" Suddenly a set of giggling voices rushed down the stairs towards them

"You two, Be careful" Klaus called after them.

Despite the five year age gap between Jamie and Lana they would argue like Cat and Dog but she followed her big brother around the house like a ghost.

"Mom, I'm going out" Caroline turned her head to find a much younger teenage version of Klaus.

"Don't be out too Late please" She said watching as he walked out of the door.

Klaus watched her adoringly "What?" She laughed

"Just admiring my wife" He reached out for her arm and pulled her towards him

"What did I do to deserve you" He whispered before lacing sweet kisses on her lips

"It helps that you're hot" She giggled pulling from his grip and running into the yard to their children.

Klaus smiled brightly his eyes fixed on the family photograph of them

"I'm the luckiest man alive" He said to himself before he followed after his wife and their two younger children.

Caroline smiled to herself as he ran through the door,

Astrid barking as he jumped into their pool splashing them all,

She loved her family though everything She and Klaus had been through they still managed to find their way back to each other.

A/N: I know a lot of people were probably expecting more than this but i haven't had the motivation to work on it so i decided rather than leaving you all waiting that i'd end it here. I hope i haven't disappointed you all. Thank you once again for taking the Time to read my story.
