"I love you."

It was whispered in the softest of voicest from her lips to his ear and he held her tighter. He spent a week without her and now all he wanted to do is hold her. Her head was in the crook of his neck and she held him as tightly as he held her.

"I know."

He felt her smile, as she nuzzled his neck. "I missed you and this."

He nodded. He had too. He had missed the sight of her coming home after work and slipping her shoes off in the entry way before snuggling up to him on the couch. He had missed the light banter after sex and her arm wrapped around his stomach as he slept.

She pulled away from him, but he wouldn't release her.

"Are you going to let me go?"

"Never again."

She smiled.

"Never is a long time," she replied.

"I mean it."

She shook her head. "Never letting you go again," he said as he pushed her chin up so her eyes met his.

It was a split second before her lips met his and her arms looped around his neck. It was a promise and she ended it too quickly for his liking.

This time when she pulled away, he didn't stop her.

"I thought you might say something like that. So I had this crazy idea," and before he knew it she was on one knee in front of him. "Han Solo, it's taken us years to get here and many fights. But if you'll have me, I'd love to be your wife for the rest of your life."

Thanks to every follower, every review and every reader. Ya'll are too sweet and too kind. This has been a roller coaster of a story to write. It's rewritten it's self a million times and thank you for your patience. A special thanks to DarkLeia for always nudging me forward. I promise this isn't the end of the story because stories are always better in trilogies. ;)
