Author's Note: I have been so awful. I am so sorry. It's been ages since I've updated. I'm slowly updating all the stories I can though. I'm trying to get into the swing of things again. I apologize again!

"So, what's been going on?" her friend's piercing eyes were desperately trying to figure out what was wrong.

JJ shifted on her bed uncomfortably. There was a frantic pounding to her heart. The picture. It had been in the other world? Dream? What was going on!

"Just stressed I guess, Em," JJ replied, hoping to put her friend at ease though her entire reality was shaken. JJ could hear Will out talking with her mother, it sounded like they were disagreeing about her. It sounded like Will wanted to take her home, but her mother wanted her to stay here.

"I can get that," Emily agreed, frowning as she listened to the argument coming from the kitchen. "Everyone's so worried about you."

"They shouldn't be," JJ protested. "I just needed a few days."

"Reid's already listed off a number of a reasons that could have caused your seizure. He's very worried about you. You should call him," Emily suggested gently.

JJ nodded her agreement. A part of her longed to tell her friend what she was going through, but that could mean losing her job. She'd think she was crazy. And maybe she was... Her eyes darted towards the photo of her sister on her dresser, and she realized she missed her. Much in the way one would miss someone they hadn't seen for a few days, not the way one would feel if the person had been dead for years.

"How long do I have you for?" JJ asked her friend, knowing full well that Emily had a busy schedule.

"As long as you need," Emily insisted.

"Seriously, how long?"

Emily glanced at her phone briefly. "Another tweleve hours."

"Let's make the most of it," JJ suggested.

"How so?" Emily asked, raising her eyebrows curiously.

"Let's get out of here."

Emily hesitated briefly, but she agreed. Perhaps JJ just needed some girl time.

Dr. Genoe didn't seem convinced as she held the photo in her hands. "Your son and husband?"

"Yes," JJ blurted out quickly. "I had that photo when I saw them yesterday and now it's here."

"Jennifer, you didn't have visitors yesterday," Dr. Genoe said with a frown putting the photo in her desk. She closed the drawer, and leaned back to watch the young woman.

"Can I have that back?"

"I think it's best you don't. Who knows where you've found this picture, but it will only fuel your delusions."

The blonde's face turned red in anger. Her jaw clenched as she tried to keep herself in check. Lashing out was not going to get her anywhere good.

"It's nearly lunch time, why don't you head back?" Dr. Genoe suggested to the distressed woman sitting before her.

Without an answer, JJ got to her feet and headed out the door back to the ward.

Why had she thought it a good idea to bring the photo to Dr. Genoe? Now she was without the photo, and she still didn't believe her.

"Jennifer?"

JJ turned to face the nurse.

"You have a visitor."

Nodding, JJ wandered down towards the lounge. She didn't know why she'd expected to see Will, but she had. A part of her felt panicked that maybe this time she wouldn't wake up, and everything be back to normal. What if she was stuck here?

"Ashley," JJ said, unable to explain the relief she felt at seeing her again. She was so convinced she was the delusion, that she was dead, but there had still been a fear about not seeing her again.

"Hey you." Ashley got up to embrace her sister, and JJ let her. It was comforting, and she even smelled like she remembered. Ashley had always been fond of flower scented perfumes. After the hug, Ashley led her back behind the book shelves. "I can't stay long. But I brought something for you."

Ashley pulled something from her pocket. A piece of paper, folded several times. The look on her sister's face was a serious one, and it made her feel a bit sick. As she opened to read it, she caught sight of Ashley, shaking her head.

It was then that JJ noticed the cameras couldn't see where they were.

"Thanks Ash," JJ answered, clutching the paper tightly.

She didn't get an answer. Her sister left, and with how anxious she was to leave, it made JJ feel nervous.

Acting casual was a lot harder than she'd expected as she made her way to her room, and of course, it seemed everyone wanted to stop and talk to her. But she finally made it to her room. Reaching into her pocket, she pulled the paper out.

She unfolded it carefully, and felt her heart sink as she read it.

You're not crazy. You're in danger.

Her hands were trembling as she refolded the note. What did it all mean? Was that girl even her sister? No, she could tell. Of course it was. Her legs felt like jello as she got to her feet. Stepping out of her room, and shutting the door firmly behind her... It was a miracle she made it to the bathroom. As she collapsed by the toilet, she emptied her stomach.

She'd expected to feel relief at finding out she wasn't crazy. Maybe Ashley was messing with her... She couldn't think about it any more, and she threw up again.

"You didn't do your goddamn job," Dr. Genoe spat.

"We checked her over, I swear."

"Then how did she show me a picture of her husband and son?" Dr. Genoe reached into the drawer to pull out the photo. Slamming it down on the desk, the two men flinched.

"We-"

"Luckily, she isn't in this photo herself. Then we might have problems." Dr. Genoe began to rip the photo into little pieces. "Now get back to work, and do your fucking job properly. I don't want to clean up after you two again."
