To Kill The Immortal

Naruto ducked under a kick from Sora then spun past a punch from B before catching Fu's and throwing her into Hinata. Then he spun and jumped over Utakata and landed just as Lee arrived.

"I wish I could say I have good news," Lee said.

It had been exactly two hours since they returned from their mission to seal the Three-tails. Naruto and Hinata had trained alone for a while before the other Jinchuriki had arrived to train with them. They were currently seeing how long Naruto could hold his own against the others.

"A pair of Akatsuki members have been spotted heading this way," Lee said. "One's wearing a mask over the bottom of his face and the other had a scythe with three blades."

"Any idea who they are or what their abilities are?" Naruto asked looking around and receiving nos from all of them. "Right."

The Jinchuriki left and found the two Akatsuki members standing at the main gate. The two were both a little taller than Naruto, one with grey hair, his Akatsuki robe open, and a scythe in one hand with a chord attached to it then to his belt. The other was slightly taller and had his face covered except his eyes, both of which had red sclera and green irises. his arms were hidden inside his robes and it was difficult to tell which might be the bigger threat.

"I'll handle the big guy," Naruto said tapping into Kurama's chakra. "You guys take the other guy. Be careful."

Hinata and the others walked away a bit and Naruto charged at his opponent.

"Name's Naruto," Naruto said ducking under a punch and seeing that it looked like the hand had been sewed onto his opponent's arm. "And what can I call you?"

"Kakuzu," his opponent said blocking Naruto's punch then sending a kick. "My partner is Hidan."

Naruto smirked and jumped over Kakuzu's kick then spun kicking him in the side of the head and sending him flying. Then, Naruto spun around as Hinata cried out in pain. Hidan had cuts and blood all over his body and he had used his blood to draw a circle on the ground with a triangle inside it. His scythe had fresh blood on it and Hinata had a shallow cut on her thigh. Hidan pulled an extendable spear out of his robe then stepped into his seal. His skin turned black with a skeleton design over his body.

"Now let's try this," Hidan said.

"Stop him!" Kurama shouted.

Naruto shot forward and caught Hidan's arm with the point of the spear less than a millimeter from his chest over his heart. Naruto threw Hidan out of the seal then blasted it and turned in time to catch Kakuzu's fist. Just the fist. Kakuzu was still standing a few hundred feet away with his arm connected to him by the same cords that had stitched the arm on before.

"Ours is immortal," Sora said.

"Mine's not, switch," Naruto said. "Hinata, heal your leg first."

Hinata did and then ducked under Kakuzu's fist and created a lion head around her fist and slammed it into his stomach launching him with a massive hole in his stomach. The others moved to fight him and Naruto moved to fight Hidan.

B caught Kakuzu's right arm and Sora the other side and Hinata moved to attack him again with Gentle Step Twin Lion Fists. Before she could hit him again, cords shot out of Kakuzu's sleeves wrapping up both B and Sora then more exploded out of his back forming a massive body with four masks. One in the bottom left corner was cracked and the one beside it was smashed. some of the cords fell away and melted with the remains of the mask landing in front of it and the other three masks opened their mouths. One fired a Fire Style Searing Migraine, another a Pressure Damage, and the last a massive wall of water. The first two mixed into a white-hot stream of flames and the water surged along the ground boiling from the heat. Utakata used a water jutsu to divert Kakuzu's away from them then used two bubbles to move himself and Hinata out of the way of the fire which hit Hidan full in the face sending him flying. Then, B entered his Version Two form and broke free then rescued Sora before launching a Tailed Beast Ball at the mass of cords that had the masks. The blast obliterated the remaining masks.

Naruto blocked Hidan's scythe with a kunai then let it go and kicked Hidan back. Hidan stumbled away then threw his spear. Naruto caught it then stuck it into the ground just as Hidan's skin turned back to normal. Naruto darted forward but just before he could attack, a stream of white-hot flame shot past Naruto and hit Hidan in the face. Hidan went flying crashing into a tree hard enough to break several bones and Naruto darted forward beginning to pummel Hidan. After a few minutes, Naruto got a disgusting idea and quickly dismembered Hidan leaving his head intact but tearing the rest of him into a bloody, disgusting mess then using a clone to form a Rasengan the size of a small house. Naruto leapt into the air and held the Rasengan below himself as he fell. Hinata and the others all braced for the explosion just as the Rasengan hit Hidan's remains and exploded. when the smoke cleared, there was nothing visible left of Hidan but Naruto had used so much chakra that his shroud faded and Kakuzu used that moment to grab Naruto by the throat and hold him skyward.

'"Your friends destroyed four of my five hearts," Kakuzu said. "Yours will make an excellent replacement."

Just as Kakuzu pulled his hand back to drive it into Naruto's chest, B's horned head exploded from Kakusu's chest spraying blood all over Naruto but successfully ending the fight.

"Headbutt works," Sora said. "Sorry, I told him to take the arm off."

Naruto snorted and shook his head.

"Don't worry," Naruto said. "I'll wash off."

They all went back into the village and reported to Tsunade about the fight then Naruto went home to rest so the others did the same.
