Quick Author's Note:
I read The Vampire Diaries books by L.J. Smith before I watched the show. I basically grew up on those books. One thing in the books that I loved was the way she described the character's eyes; Damon had dark eyes, Stefan's were emerald and Elena's were this bright crystal blue. So when I wrote this story I added this part in, which is very different from the TV but I had to. It was one detail I loved, I hope that doesn't deter anyone. I've also added a few other elements from the book. Just a heads up.
