Best Friends and More
Author's Note: Just a small note that this is Season 2 AU, so Jackson never left for London. Also, I hoped someone else would take a shot at this pairing besides me. :-p
Pairing: Danny x Jackson
ooOoo
Danny jumped up at the doorbell. It had been a few weeks since Jackson had really hung out with him. He was still trying to get over the whole kanima thing.
"Hey Jackson," Danny greeted, smiling at him.
Jackson gave his best friend a wave and walked past him. The usual confident smile wasn't present. Danny shut the door, eying him with concern.
"Jackson?"
"I'm fine," he said, predicting Danny's worry.
Jackson plopped down onto the couch of the Mahaelani living room with a sigh.
"You sure?" Danny asked him.
Jackson couldn't resist those worried eyes. It was always Danny who could get him to open up about things.
"Its me and Lydia. We decided to take a break. She's still pretty freaked out from everything."
"What about you?" Danny asked, scooting closer and looking at him. "Are you okay with that?"
"Yeah actually," Jackson replied. "I think I need time away from relationships, girls in general."
Danny cocked a smirk.
"Does that mean you'd consider playing for the other team?"
"In your dreams maybe," Jackson snorted, and yeah, the smug grin was back.
Danny laughed and pulled Jackson into a hug.
"Just teasin," he giggled.
"Yeah?" Jackson asked seriously. "What if I'm not?"
"What do you mean?"
Danny honestly looked a little confused. Jackson eyed him strangely for a long moment, something in his eyes seeming to change, almost like he wanted his best friend.
"Jackson?"
"Danny do you remember when you said I wasn't your type?"
Danny shrugged a little like it was no big deal. Jackson moved a little closer. Danny's facial expression became cornered and nervous, but he didn't move away.
Jackson leaned his face close, stopping just mere inches from Danny's. His gaze was intense and focused.
"I think you lied to me," Jackson whispered. "I think I'm exactly your type."
Danny swallowed a little, feeling things become just a little too snug down below, and yeah Jackson was his type. What was his best friend doing so close? What was he trying to prove?
Jackson inhaled raising his hand, gently palming Danny's cheek, eyes burning with desire that was unmistakeable now. Jackson had never looked at him this way.
"Is it okay?" Jackson asked.
Danny nodded, eyes clouding over, as he moved forward, bridging the gap. His lips pressed over Jackson's, and yeah he was definitely his type.
Jackson hummed a little, moving even closer, gripping Danny's shirt in his fist. Who knew these lips would feel so right, so not like Lydia's? Danny's lips were making him hungry for more, and yes, there was that tongue he readily parted his lips to allow in.
Danny moaned and ran his hand up under Jackson's shirt, fingers ghosting over rock solid abs. His best friend pulled back from his lips, eyes clouded over with need.
"What was that Jackson?" Danny whispered.
"I'm not sure," Jackson told him honestly. "Something I've always been curious about."
Danny looked at him curiously, smiling a little in spite of the strangeness of it.
"Did you like it?" he asked.
Jackson placed a hand on his shoulder, gently pushing him back against the couch, leaning over his face with a confident smirk.
"Definitely," he whispered, claiming Danny's lips again.
Jackson got the feeling they'd be seeing each other like this more often.
