You could hear the door to the bathroom creak open slowly, but that wasn't the most terrifying thing, it was the footsteps that followed it slowly drawing closer to the stalls. Underneath the stalls you could see the shoes walk past, thudding with every movement. The black shoes walked past each stall, suddenly at stall three they stopped, turned on their heel so they were facing towards the stall door, for a moment or so it was silent, then the shoes carried on their journey and walked past each other stall, when they were done they walked backwards toward the sinks.
The woman in black shoes stared at herself in the mirror, and in her reflection she saw more than a girl with down syndrome, she saw a teenager who was frightened to lose her friend, a girl that people were terrified of in this moment abruptly she spun around because someone had mad e a dash for the door but it wasn't long until she realised who it was. Brittney. When Brittney saw her at first she rushed forward to grab her hand so she could lead her safely out, but as she drew closer Becky lifted her hand ever so lightly, but enough so Brittney could see what was resting in it, a gun.
Brittney gasped stepping backwards shocked, how could Becky be the shooter why would she? Questions buzzed around Brittney's head but no answer came to relieve her of her doubts.
Becky, is all she managed to squeeze out from her dry throat.
Fear filled the girls bathroom in McKinley High.
Please, please don't leave me Screamed Becky, frightened all she wanted was Brittney to saty.
Tears streamed down both their faces as Brittney faced Becky and said Becky I have to leave school some time, but on day you will to and we'll see each other again, I know it's scary but one day it won't seem so bad
Brittney said trying to calm Becky down, it was no use, Becky had no other thought in her mind at the moment.
Suddenly the doors opened and Sam broke through, Brittney sighed with relief yet she was now even more worried for Sam's wellbeing. It wasn't long before Sam saw the gun in Becky's hand, in an instant he walked over to stand protectively by Brittney. He drew closer to Becky whispering to her,
It's okay, everything will be fine just give me the gun Becky, give it to me and we will all leave it will be fine.
But that was exactly what Becky did not want; she didn't want anyone to leave her least of all Brittney.
Without a moments hesitation Becky raised the gun to chest height, Sam and Brittney started to scream, but it was no use.
The gun went off and there was silence. Then all hell broke loose, Brittney fell to the ground blood spilling from her chest, she gasped for air and Becky also felt o the ground crying at what she had just done, Sam screamed falling by Brittney's side trying to stop the blood, she stilled. He stopped for a moment then looked up at Becky just as he was about to lunge for the gun.
The most unexpected thing happened. Becky raised the gun placed it on her temple, she could feel the cold meatless power, and then she pulled the trigger. She fell to the ground, as she whispered her goodbyes.
All she wanted was to get her revenge on everyone who had left her, to make them stay, she never thought it would feel like this, this is my redemption she thought to herself as her soul slipped away.
