Hey Guys,

I thought I would apologize for the wait half of this chapter got deleted some how and I couldn't figure out what I had written for it that would work with the next chapters.

I awoke from my nightmare, covered in sweat. I looked over at Peter's bed, which was close to Remus's. He was gone. Obviously having gone with the others to the shrieking shack... I had pulled my ebony hair into a bun, expecting to wake up with it plastered to my face. I checked the time; I hadn't been asleep long since they had left. I attempted to get back to sleep but couldn't. I decided to pick up my muggle book about werewolves and witches.

I hadn't gotten into my book much when the door opened revealing a battered looking Sirius. I put my book down then walked over to him. Taking his hand, I took him over to Remus's bed as I accioed my wand so that I could start healing him. "Nightmare?"

I nodded, still healing his scrapes and bruises. He winced in pain as I fixed a broken rib. "Sorry, and no worse than usual. I thought Peter was staying with me tonight? Not that I don't enjoy your company."

"James and I thought it would save time if one of us was here rather than Peter. Remus was worried about us leaving you alone."

"I'm surprised he didn't try forcing you all into protecting me." I thought about all of the times he had tried to protect me.

"April, love?" I nodded realising that I was probably zoning out. I looked down at some of the faded scars on my hands. They looked fresher in the full moon. My eyes met the stormy grey ones of Sirius. "Go back to sleep. We can't have you up all night, Moony would kill me."

"You're all too precious for him to kill you Sirius… you all mean the world to him" I smiled slightly at how these complete strangers to me have decided to try to help and protect me. It was what reminded me that there are good people in the world even through all of this bad. "Thank you, for doing this for me. You barely now me and yet you would try to protect me like this."

"Sleep April, we can't have you collapsing." My smile widened at his concern. I did feel light headed. Everything started to go black. I felt myself fall; I struggled to lift my arms in time to catch myself, my body felt too heavy. Everything went black.

Sirius POV

I caught April just before she hit the floor. Her collapsing like that really freaked me out; she didn't even seem to see it happening. I carefully managed to pick her up and put her back into Moony's bed. I decided to stay close to where she slept since I wasn't sure exactly what was going to happen next. She looked like she was sleeping peacefully but that wasn't likely what was going to happen. Suddenly a copy of April appeared above her bed; the only difference between the two was that this girl was covered in blood that was dripping from her as she hovered over the bed. "April, April. Wake up; we need to go to the forest." The words sounded sweet and innocent, but the look on her face told a different tale it was full of menace and hatred. I thought I was bad when it involved my family. April quickly got up and smiled at the girl above her bed. Summer you idiot, her name's Summer. April followed her out of the dorm. I hurried out of the dorm after her, quietly calling her name to try to get her attention. Summer turned to face me, a playful smile on her face as she turned to take Aprils hand to continue leading her out of Hogwarts and towards the Forbidden Forest.

We reached the Forbidden Forest quickly, much to my surprise we took nearly all the short cuts that are around the castle. April and Summer stopped just on the outskirts of the forest. I called out Aprils name to try receiving her attention again; it didn't work out too well. She spun around to face me as she let out a painful scream and buckled over as if she had taken a stab to the stomach. Her hair slowly changed from its pure black to a blood red, her pyjamas changed into a black dress, her skin a ghostly white. I could feel my eyes widening when Summer smiled at me and disappeared. My eyes caught Aprils when she slowly curled herself up to stand, her mouth curled into a cruel grin, that would make anyone cringe. She slowly turned to walk further into the forest. I ran over to her and grabbed her wrist, spinning her to face me. Her expression darkened as she reached out and scratched my face, I didn't let go of her wrist as I felt the blood drip down. I pulled her away from the forest, her attention was now on me, and I was debating if that was a good thing. Letting go of her hand I changed into my dog form so that I can keep her attention on me and defend myself if necessary, her cruel smile changed into a mischievous one as she saw me transform. She slowly backed away from me, I followed her every move. She quickly turned and ran in the opposite direction; I let out a small howl that was loud enough for the others to hear as I ran after her. That was our planned signal for if she transformed.

Following her into the forest wasn't as easy. She was fast, luckily I could keep up. I nipped at her ankles to try to slow her down. It didn't work as planned as she only sped up. Out of the corner of my eye I could see a stag the other side of her, a werewolf beside it. Prongs and Moony had turned up. I ran over to them, moving my head to motion for Prongs to go after April as I took Moony away from the situation. Prongs went after her as she turned while I tried to keep Moony going straight. His eyes pleaded with mine to go after her. I eventually gave in to him and moved aside so that we could go after her, she was the priority at the moment not him.

We caught up to Prongs and April in time to see her walk into a secluded clearing in the forest, where a knife was stabbed into the ground. April sped up at the sight of the knife. I pounced on top for her pushing her to the ground just before she could grab the knife, April collapsed under me after struggling slightly to get free. I looked up at the sky to see the sun starting to rise and looked over my shoulder to see Prongs beside Moony, who had also collapsed. I sighed to myself, full moons have just got a lot more interesting.
