Chapter I: Leaving For NY (Part 2)

ANNABETH

Annabeth woke early in the morning, the sun was just rising and she looked over to the clock hung up on the far wall of the Athena cabin. She was extremely excited for what was happening today, she and Percy were going to go to live and go to school together in New York City. And then on summer breaks, return to Camp Half-Blood. She got herself ready, wearing the usual Camp Half-Blood shirt with jeans, Converse sneakers taking with her Yankees hat.

She opened the door of the Athena cabin, which was of course, quite empty as children of Athena were early risers. She took a deep breath of the fresh summer morning air. She was going to Miss Camp Half-Blood, everything about it. Felt like home, so laidback, and disconnected from the world.

Over by the bonfire, Frank, Hazel, Nico, Reyna and Grover were having a chat. Nico spotted "Morning Annabeth!" he said, gesturing her to come over, she was proud of Nico, for finally admitting his crush for Percy, and finally letting go. She was happy for him, not for herself, he went through so much, He deserved to be at peace.

She walked over to the hearth at the center of the common. Taking a seat on the stone columns.

"Where's Percy, Jason and Piper" she said questioningly

"Piper and Jason are still kind of bummed out because of Leo" Frank said glumly, everybody's mood suddenly went down, it was just silent.

"But Percy, he's probably still sleeping" Hazel said, trying to break the awkward silence. Annabeth laughed at the remark, of course he was. Even on an important day like this one, Percy always slept in. He deserved it, they all deserved a little sleep after the hell they've been through.

PIPER

Piper woke up in the attic of the Zeus Cabin, if you could even call it that, it would be an attic on steroids, it was like a view of Long Island sound, and now in the morning, she could witness the sun rising, while in the arms of the Handsome son of Jupiter. Jason was still fully slumbering, he looked quite cute asleep with his scar.

She gently removed herself from his arms, trying not to wake him. She tiptoed to the trapdoor. Slowly opening it every now and then checking if Jason had woken up Thank god, he didn't. He must have been extremely tired to sleep through the noise. She climbed down the ladder closing the Cabin door which was left an inch open from last night.

She walked out of the Cabin, and saw Frank, Hazel, Nico, Reyna and Annabeth gathered at the hearth. She walked over and all of them said "Morning" in perfect synchronization.

"Finally got out of bed sleepy?" Hazel teased

"Hey, Percy nor Jason is awake yet, so who you calling sleepy?" she playfully protested. This sent the whole group into fits. When they finally recovered,

Piper asked Annabeth "So, big day today huh?"

"Yeah" Annabeth replied "But I'm excited, I might be able to live like a normal teenager for a while" she continued with a small smile

REYNA

Reyna woke up startled, she had been shaken awake by a legionnaire, he looked nervous. In other cases, Reyna might have strangled him. But the look on his face told her the matter was pressing

"Praetor, Chiron would like to see you in the big house" he said in a low voice

"Thank you for coming to me in an instant" Reyna thanked "Also, I might be praetor, but I'm not going to smite you down if it's important. Just next time, if you have to wake me, find another way" Reyna said while walking away.

She didn't really sleep, it was more of nap. Therefore she was already in her praetor armour. She wasn't really in the mood for sleeping after what happened in San Juan she would get nightmares of the place. She hoped they would eventually go away. However she knew better than that, Demi-gods nightmares never really went away easily. The always meant something. And it was usually not good.

She was so deep in thought she didn't realize that she was already at the doorstep of the big house. She stepped inside to find a Chiron also deep in thought.

"Lord Chiron, you wanted to see me?" She said in a respectful but curious tone

Chiron looked up, not noticing that she had entered, he recollected himself and put on that gentle gaze that usually sat on his face whenever he was addressing demigods, however, Reyna could see that behind those gentle eyes, there was some sadness.

"Yes Reyna, and please, you have no need to address me as Lord" he said, she nodded approving that she had heard his message.

"Alright, to the matter, please sit" he gestured toward the sofa chair adjacent to the couch he had been sitting on, and Reyna obliged.

"The Gods, after Jason's message, and Percy's previous message after the Titan war, have been in deep thought, and have made a decision" Chiron said, however it seemed like his thoughts were somewhere else

"Decided to do what exactly, if I may ask" Reyna questioned

"Decided, to open a school for Demigods, where they may be educated like a normal teenager safe from monsters and a adjusted curriculum to a teenager with godly parents, ADHD, Dyslexia and knows how to wield a sword" he stated, giving a small chuckle, Reyna politely laughed.

"Is this all you summoned me for?" Reyna asked, it might have sounded rude, but Reyna wasn't the chit-chat kind of person and always wanted to get straight to the point.

"No, the want to open the school exactly after the summer break, when all the other public school start, and they want to see if it effective on Camp Half-Blood and Camp Jupiter Half-Bloods" Chiron started

She must have looked deep in thought as Chiron interrupted her thoughts

"I'll give you some time to think, as I want to make sure to our camps are on the same page and friendly terms" he said reassuringly.

She nodded, said goodbye and left the big house, already spotting all of the Campers heading towards the mess hall, she followed the feat.

I know I changed the start of the story because i wanted it to tie in with the ending of Blood of Olympus, as it would have been more difficult to somehow implement it with the old start.
