Gilded Cage Event Report by Agnes, Musketeer Captain and personal guard to the Princess of Tristania.

I write this now knowing full well that if it were found what it would mean for the Gilded Cage, but because of the recent events we have all been through I find myself unable to find time to meet with you all. Therefore, I write this message that Osmond, Karin or another can inform you all of what I have discovered had happened during all of these events.

The event which has been now called by the queen as the Sky Demon Invasion is believed to have truly started with the explosion at the Battle of Tarbes during the Tristania/Albion war. The explosion was a creation of the one calling herself, the Prophetess. What she did from this time to the invasion of the demons is unknown, but it is believed this is when she grew her cult across the continent. In the aftermath of the invasion, no bodies of any member of the cult, calling themselves Crystalists, were found in the city, despite many losing their lives, including both the right and left hands of the Prophetess.

After substantial reconnaissance, a great open space was discovered in the mountain near the Magic Academy. We believe this is where the Crystalists, under the now assumed dead prophetess, came from. However, because of the lack of bodies and evidence, we cannot be sure.

Albion residents are currently relocating to various countries while Germania and Gallia assist each other in rebuilding. They appear to now be on oddly excellent terms.

Despite the assistance they provided, the Pope of Romalia still insists that the elves must be destroyed. However, due to their assistance, many people in the remaining countries appear to be against this and the pope is losing followers.

I shall write another missive if I discover any more information you would need to know.

Tristania, location unknown

Osmond sighed as all of the Gilded Cage members left the room, leaving him alone with the letter from Agnes that he had read to the other members in the hours previous. This was by far the most tiring meeting they ever had done, but with reason.

"Tired already?"

Osmond looked up to see Karin standing against the far wall beside the door. "Yes, much has happened, no?"

"The Crystalists are no longer around. The elves return to their lands and an invasion of demons violently cancelled. Other than Albion being destroyed and thousands losing their lives, things seem pretty good." Karin said sarcastically. "I just wish I could have discovered why Louise did all this before she sacrificed herself."

"I guess it will remain a mystery, but life must go on, and some things must stay secret."

Gallia, Capitol castle ruins.

Under thousands of tons of rock and debris, a single light blinked its last fleck as it released its last bit of information to its data backup thousands of miles away.

-Designate organization Crystalists for eventual destruction. Organics of native land incapable of being converted to machines with high success rates. Change of tactics will be required. CABAL back up and reboot protocol engaged.-

"So, the foreman Avek has failed and met his end?"

"Yes, overlord."

"I see."

"Shall we send Reaper into action at Planet Three of System 21?"

"No."

"But overlord-,"

"Do not question me, supervisor. What we shall do about the residents of that planet will be decided by myself and myself alone. I shall go there myself!"

Location - South of Halkeginia, beyond great ocean. Continent unknown.

Two cloaked figures stood atop a cliff as their people unpacked gear from the various transports below them. The thousands of people below them seemed mixed with emotions of happiness, fear and worry.

"What do you think, Siesta?"

"About what?" Siesta asked as She took off her hood.

"About Louise. You don't think-?"

"She's alive, Fouquet."

"But she was inside the Scrin mothership when it exploded, right?"

"She's fine, she's-," Siesta started.

"Right here!"

Both Siesta and Fouquet turned to see a familiar figure walk up behind them. Her hair was dishevelled and she was covered in burns and dirt, but she was still recognizable.

"Louise!" Siesta screamed with joy as she leapt and embraced Louise in a great hug.

Louise smiled as she and Siesta parted from their hug. "I don't die that easily. How many did we lose?"

Fouquet smiled. "Not many. Out of almost two thousand Crystalists, we lost only a few hundred. Oh, and the three Enlightened."

I'm assuming Legion is residing in the CCV still?"

"Yes, though he seemed . . . well, angry at having been killed."

"What did he get killed by?"

"A Hexapod, after brawling it." Siesta said with a snicker.

Louise snickered. "I wish I could have seen that."

". . . So what now?" Fouquet asked casually.

"Now we rebuild and prepare." Louise replied confidently.

Both Siesta and Fouquet looked at Louise with confusion. "How?"

"Like this." Louise said as she stepped up to the cliff, making herself visible to all below. "Crystalists!"

Everyone below stopped what they were doing and looked up, and immediately let out cheers that shook the entire cliff.

"I LIVE! We have fought the Great Enemy, the Scrin! We have defended those of Halkeginia, despite their arrogance and hatred toward us! Now we stand here, on a new, yet undiscovered land that we will make our own! A time will come where we will save those once close to us again, and when that time comes we will do so happily. But until such a time comes, we must prepare and ready ourselves. We must recreate and rebuild and create a new great land for us here! We are Children of NOD! WE ARE THE CRYSTALISTS!"

"PEACE THROUGH POWER!"

-The End-

Authors notes:

That's it. It's done!

And yes before anyone ask it won't end there as I am planning a Sequel to emissary for the future, though not what right away. More will be spoken of emissary's sequel at a far later time, likely halfway or three quarters through my next fic. On that point betrayer has risen up victorieous with border in a close second, so I've decided I shall do both, but with border as a secondary fic that will likely update slower. They will pop up in the next few weeks.

On a different point I would like to ask a favor from those of you willing. In addition to the usual chapter reviews people give I would like some of you, who feel comfortable doing so, to give me a review on the story in its entirety. I'm talking how the plot flowed, how it read, how characters grew, how my writing grew, all of it. Having a few such massive entire story reviews will help me look over my weaknesses in writing and help me improve myself, so in advance to those of you that give me such a review I thank you kindly.

I would also like to thank everyone who has read, reviews, followed, favorite, and enjoyed this fanfic of mine and I hope to have your continued support in Betrayer of the void, thank you greatly for your support.
