Chapter 29: The One Who Knew

"Sasuke.. When did you have a dream like that...?"

Naruto and Sasuke were sitting alone in the park. The boys have been sitting in the sandbox for what seemed like hours. Ignoring the random noises coming from the bushes, and the crisp cold air of the fall, Sasuke refused to leave without telling Naruto everything he dreamt of that night.

" I...dreamt of it over the summer...but why didn't that surprise you?" Sasuke watched Naruto's head flop down causing his blonde locks to fall over his eyes. Naruto was shaken and terrified but not by the dream, Naruto was freaking out at the fact that he had a similar dream a while ago. "Sasuke would you believe me If I told you that I had a dream nearly the same as yours not to long ago?"

Sasuke stared at Naruto his eyes slightly wide from shock, "What.. What the hell are you blabbing about Dobe?" Naruto looked up at Sasuke and stared right at his midnight eyes, "Teme I had a dream that Karin almost killed Sakura... At school." Naruto took a deep breath, "my dream was a little different but I swear it was the same thing...Karin attacked Sakura.. .. It's always blurry for me but for some reason I remember Ino in my dream." Naruto and Sasuke were both silent, both boys knew exactly what the other was thinking but either one of them wanted to say it out loud. Naruto sighed, "Sasuke you don't think that it actually.."

"-Text Ino and tell her we need to see her ASAP" Sasuke said cutting Naruto off. Naruto did as he was told.. His heart was racing and he felt a cold sweat drip down the back of his neck. He's both scared of knowing and not knowing the truth. Sasuke and Naruto spend the whole night in the park and decide that going to Sai's place was the best option to go and freshen up.

Sasuke knocked on Sai's door and let them both in without asking any further questions. "I have some of your stuff in the back closet and my brother left so you're free to use his shower."

"Thanks Sai..man I'm tired." Naruto mumbled as he flopped onto the sofa. Sai looked at both boys and noticed how they have dark circles and bags under their eyes. I wonder what kept those two boneheads up all night...hmm perhaps they have finally began to look at each other romantically?

"Damn it Dobe I couldn't sleep a wink because of you...Gah my back hurts"

Sai didn't show it but his eyes slightly widened, Oh... All night?...hmmm... It could possibly be...that they..no no I mustn't come to conclusions so quickly, after all, they would tell me if things went that way.

Sai took a sip of his green tea and watched both boys very carefully.

" So this is my fault!? You wouldn't let me go until you felt satisfied with my answer and because of that we ended up spending the whole night at the park!" Naruto angrily shouted back. Sai took another sip of his green tea, Oh my...Sasuke must've had a lot of stamina built up ..until he was satisfied huh? ...wouldn't that be painful...how is that he's able to walk?

"Damn right I wasn't going to let you go, after all that wondering and thinking I finally got what I wanted... And now we just need move on to the next step." Next..step..? What could possibly be the next step?

"Hurry up and take a shower so we can go, I don't want to wait another minute Dobe." Sai choked, That Sasuke... Doesn't he know his limits? Sai watched Naruto nod but sadly look down on the floor...Oh what's this?..perhaps Naruto wants to take the lead this time..is that it?

"Teme .. If you go out of control just know I'm going to step in and lead alright? "

"Hn. I can handle myself Dobe besides, you're the one who loses his cool first, and I always have to control you when you get out of hand." Naruto laughed, " you're right! I'm like a beast aren't I?"

Sai suddenly felt a bit shaken These two...Have they no shame to talk about such things in front of me..?

Sai tried to take steady breaths as the two boys came out the shower fresh and clean, they both thanked them but weren't let off the hook from Sai just yet. Before stepping out of the apartment Sai cleared his throat as he stood near the door, "While I am both happy for you, because I had a hunch such things would happen...I'd prefer if you two kept your dirty talk to yourselves next time...Thank you."

Naruto and Sasuke's face twisted in disgust as Sai closed the door, "HEY WAIT! WHAT?!" Naruto shouted back and began to slam his hands against the door, "SAI YOU BASTARD! Open the door so I can kill you!"

Sai ignored them both but kept himself pressed against the door, he just needed a hint of what might be going on with those two.

"Dobe just leave him, we need to see Ino..." Sasuke called back, and Sai furrowed his brows. Why did they need to talk to his girlfriend?... "Hmm... I think I'll call Ino first...before contacting Shikamaru...if anyone knows what's going on it'll be him."

Yamanaka Flower Shop: 10:00am

Naruto and Sasuke sit outside the flower shop with a take out of some ramen and coffee from Ichiraku. Sasuke moved his ramen with his chopsticks...his appetite was far gone. I wonder how she's doing right now?...Did she eat?...Sasuke took a deep slow breath...His heart hurt, his head hurt, everything just hurt. Sasuke was too afraid of breaking down in front of Sakura so he decided to spend the entire night in the park...talking with the only guy in the world who knew just about everything when it came to him. Sasuke looked at Naruto who happily took out his second bowl of ramen and began to slurp it down.

Naruto didn't look up from his bowl as he asked Sasuke if he was going to eat, but Sasuke shook his head and handed his portion over to the blonde, "I'm not hungry..."

Naruto gladly took his bowl and downed it down within two minutes. A little while later, the boys spotted Ino walking towards the shop.

"Naruto! What's your deal texting me in the middle of the night for!? If it's about seducing old man Ichiraku's nephew so you can get half priced ramen again then you can forget it!" Ino crossed her arms and scolded Naruto before noticing the Uchiha that stood against the shop's wall. "Hey Sasuke...are you tagging with him?" Sasuke gave her a stern nod and Ino raised her eyebrow at them both. Sai wasn't lying when they said they were both coming...but what for?..

"Ino-chan..I'm not here for that." Naruto said as he stood up and brushed off some of the dirt from his pants, "We actually came in here to ask you something..."

"What?.." Ino asked, but the boys didn't reply back so quickly. Ino studied the looks on their faces, and something at the pit of her stomach told her that it wasn't going to be a very nice question.

"Spit it out already!" she demanded but Sasuke sighed and crossed his arms. "Can we speak with you inside?" He asked. Ino glanced from side to side to see a few people looking their way.

"Um...can't you just say it out here? Ugh this is stupid!" Ino stomped her feet but Naruto didn't wince instead he grabbed her wrist and pulled her towards the door.

"Please...Ino?" he pleaded and Ino rolled her eyes, better be good! Ino unlocked the door but didn't flip the 'closed' sign to 'open' because she figured the boys wanted a little privacy.

"Well...make it quick, I have a ton of orders to fill!"

She looked from Naruto to Sasuke and watched them both grimace. Naruto began to scratch the back of his head as Sasuke closed his eyes. Ino crossed her arms, "I'm waiting..."

"Ahh..how do I ask this..ummmmm heh.." Naruto began, he chuckled a little and cleared his throat before speaking again, "well I guess I can start off by telling you this dream I had a few years ago. You see I had a dream-"

"Did something happen to Sakura back when we were kids?" Sasuke suddenly asked, cutting Naruto off. Sasuke's heart slammed against his chest when he saw Ino's eyes slightly widened in panic at his question before she masked it off by closing her eyes.

"What...what did you ask?"

Sasuke's body was slightly shaking, and he sighed deeply making sure his voice doesn't shake, "I asked...did something happen to Sakura when we were little Ino...anything?"

Ino crossed her arms and began to tap her forefinger on her arm, something she does when she's nervous and cleared her throat.

"Why would you ask me?...How would I know if something happened to her or not? I don't even talk to her plus-"

"You used to be her best friend..." Naruto whispered loudly, his voice low... "That's why he asked, it's because I remember how close you two were growing up..." Ino didn't reply back..it was getting harder to hide the panic on her face. She gulped hard and turned away from them both, "Used to Naruto...plus that was so many years ago...how would I remember and plus even if something did happen...why would you ask me and not her?"

"Because Sakura wouldn't ever tell us..." Naruto stepped closer and furrowed his brows, recalling the time last year when he tried to get her to admit what happened, "Sakura wouldn't tell any of us...not even me."

Ino closed her eyes, her heart was racing a billion times after by the second. What do I do..? Why would they bring that incident up...why ME?

"It still doesn't make sense as to why I might know..." she whispered. Sasuke stepped closer and turned her around towards them so he got a good look of her eyes. "It's because Dobe and I had similar dreams...but in his dream...he saw you."

Naruto sighed and ruffled his hair out of frustration, "ahhhhhhh! This is so annoying! Ino we're trying to see if our dreams were actually memories okay?! So if you know anything just tell us because it's driving us insane!"

Ino bit her lip, her eyes were starting to water just at the thought of that day...the day she witnessed something both horrifying and tragic, "I...I can't..." she choked back, "I can't tell you.."

"Why?" Naruto and Sasuke both asked, they stood up straight and walked towards her.

"I just can't tell you guys-I'm..I'm sorry I-"

"Why Ino?! What do you know?!" Naruto shouted back, when Sai suddenly ran into the shop and came to Ino's aid.

"I think it's time you both leave..and stop harassing my girlfriend."

"Stay out of this Sai, we need her to answer something for us, come on Ino tell us!" Naruto shouted back but Sai refused to move aside. He continued to shield Ino as she pressed herself against his back, Sai..thank God you're here.. Ino began to cry as she pressed herself hard against her boyfriend's back. She felt comfort...and safe.

"Step aside Sai I need to talk to her" Sasuke gritted between his teeth.

"No, now leave."

"I said move Sai!" Sasuke growled louder stepping closer to his friend. Sai was really starting to piss him off.

"Leave Sasuke, Ino has nothing to do with your matrimonial problems"

Sasuke grabbed him by the collar and brought him closer, "This isn't any of your business Sai, you know nothing so step aside and let me talk to her!"

"Whoa whoa whoa, calm down Sasuke and leave Sai alone." Shikamaru's presence was already sensed a minute after Sai entered the shop. Shikamaru took his last drag of his cigarette and plopped it on the floor. He stepped over it before entering the shop. One good look at Naruto and Sasuke and he could tell these two were completely out of it, What's gotten into them?...He thought as he walked over and calmly removed Sai from Sasuke's clutches.

"Shika? What are you doing here?" Naruto asked and Shikamaru shrugged, frankly, he had no idea why he was here, but he decided to join Sai once Sai had told him about his early visit from the duo this morning.

"I was called in to see what the deal was...and by the looks of it...you two seem like you went through Hell and came back."

"Shikamaru just leave" Sasuke growled. Sasuke felt Shikamaru's hand on his shoulder and was slightly pushed back making a little space between the boys.

"Now listen, I don't know what's goin' on and I don't think I wanna know but isn't it too early to be...erm..doing whatever it is you two are doing?"

"Shikamaru you don't know the whole story, besides we're not gonna hurt her, he just wants to ask her something."

"Why don't you ask me instead?"

"Because it doesn't involve you!" Sasuke shouted, this was frustrating, he was tired,and now he was hungry...his mind was out of control and at this point he knew Ino knew something. He knew it!

"Well maybe it should."

"But it doesn't so move!" Sasuke furiously pushed Shikamaru out of the way and picked Sai up by the collar again, "Out of my way!" Sasuke pushed Sai aside and walked over to Ino and grabbed her by the shoulders and shook her, "Tell me Ino! What happened?! What happened to her?! I'm begging you!"

Ino gasped loudly at the sight of Sasuke, she's never seen him like this...She's never seen him so helpless...so...hurt.

"Just tell me and I'll never beg for anything from you ever in my life again I swear to you!"

Ino couldn't bring herself to say it, the words weren't coming out.

"I...I can't" She began to sob and shake her head, "I can't I'm sorry..."

"YOU'RE NOT SORRY! NONE OF YOU ARE!" Sasuke pushed her aside and began to stomp out of the shop, "I'll find out on my own!" Sasuke stopped by the door before leaving and looked over his shoulder. His eyes aimed right at Ino, "I begged you for an answer Ino. Begged. Remember that.." and with that..Sasuke left the scene with Naruto following after him.

"Wait Naruto!" They called out but Naruto didn't even bother to look back he just paused and spoke loudly, "Teme may seem like a Teme because he really is...but..right now he's hurt, and you his friends, his own fucking friends couldn't even help him a little bit! He lowered his pride for you Ino! My best friend just needed a few words and you didn't give it, I know you hate Sakura, I know that, but do you hate her to the point where you wouldn't even help your own friends when it came to her?!"

"..." Ino kept quiet.

"Well?!"

Ino continued to sob as Sai rubbed her shoulders... "heh...I know how shallow Karin is, so I don't give a shit about what she thinks when it comes to Sakura. You may think you're cool for being around her and following her, and dumping Sakura...the way you did, but I wonder if Sakura's is the one who's better off..." Naruto turned around and glared at them, his blue eyes red from tears. He turned his head sharply and ran after Sasuke.

Don't worry Sasuke...I'll find a way to get our answer...even if I have to ask and beg Sakura myself.

"Teme wait up!" Naruto caught up to Sasuke who was walking down the street, his hands dug in his pockets. "Where are you going Teme?"

"To see my brother..."

"You think Itachi knows something?"

Sasuke let out a shallow, humourless laugh, "Even if he does, he wouldn't tell me"

"Hmm...well you do that...I gotta take care of something else." Sasuke looked over his shoulder and saw Naruto head the other way, "Let me do this and text me when you're done seeing Itachi, we'll meet back alright?"

Sasuke continued walking and waved him off, Itachi...if you don't tell me anything today...I'm going to leave that house an only child.

Sasuke's House: 11:00am

"Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm!" Sakura stretched her arms far and wide before grabbing her thick rims and trudged down the stairs. It's a Saturday and Sakura needed those extra hours of sleep. Yesterday was...something, interesting. Sakura kind of felt at peace...suddenly everything her mother did...just seemed childish. Sakura knew better than to simply forgive her mother, That woman will never have my forgiveness, her and her daughter can come kiss my ass if they know what's good for them.

Sakura walked down the stairs in hopes to find something simple to eat for breakfast. Sakura hasn't seen him for a while, and wondered if he was even home. Without a second thought, Sakura brushed it off and shrugged, it's none of my business. Sakura opened the cabinet and pulled out her tea mug when she heard the doorbell ring. Her eyebrows scrunched in curiosity...now who could that be...

Sakura walked to the living room and looked through the peephole to see Naruto standing outside. He had dark circles and bags under his eyes, and he looked absolutely exhausted.

Sakura opened the door and cleared her throat, but Naruto seemed too dazed to even notice her.

"Um..Naruto?" Sakura smiled as he looked up at her and smiled back, but something seemed different about his smile...

"What are you doing here so-ah!" Sakura was pulled into Naruto's arms as he held her tightly in his embrace. Sakura blushed by his sudden gesture and dared not to move as she felt his arms wrap tightly around her. Naruto was shaking... Sakura began to worry when she felt something warm trickle down her shoulder. His forehead was pressed against her shoulder and she heard him sniffle.

"Naruto...why are you crying...?"

Naruto shook his head slowly, "It's nothing...just give me a minute okay?"

Sakura's face heated up by the second as she wondered if anyone was watching. She didn't know what to do, it was so sudden.

"Um... Naruto...would you like to come in?..."

Naruto kept his head down as he quickly wiped his eyes. He followed her in and Sakura felt her chest tighten at the look of his face. It was puffy, and now his eyes and nose were red...What's going on with him?..

Naruto walked into the living room and Sakura sat right next to him, "Ah...so..how about I make us something to eat and we can talk then okay?"

Naruto stayed silent...he was still slightly shaking, "okay.." his voice was a faint whisper, it made Sakura's heart sink...it sounded nothing like him.

Sakura ran into the kitchen and pulled out everything from the fridge. She glanced at him from time to time as she quickly made a big brunch for them to eat. Sakura sprinted into the living room with a plate of rice, eggs and sausage.

She set his plate down and placed his juice and tea next to him. Sakura and Naruto sat down as she handed him his chopsticks and they began to eat silently for a minute. She watched him carefully as he sighed...he looked like he was struggling to get himself together.

Sakura moved her food around on her plate but quickly glanced down when he looked up to finally speak to her.

"Sakura-chan...I'm sorry about that.."

Sakura quickly shook her head, "no no no, please don't be! I'm...actually happy you came..." Sakura smiled widely at him, "I'm just a bit worried since you seem so down..."

Naruto finally gave her a small smile, "Yeah..I surprised myself a little..I didn't think I'd...anyway, how are you Sakura-chan? How's your dad?"

Sakura smiled, she wanted to reach out and touch his hand, she wanted to hug him again...Hell she wanted to kiss him and tell him everything is okay. She didn't know what happened but she just felt the need to comfort him.

"He's doing better...they're going to keep him for another week or so...and everything is good Naruto, actually I can't remember the last time things have been this good for me!"

Sakura was suddenly eager to share her news with Naruto, "Um... so..what's wrong Naruto?..Are you sure you're okay?..."

Naruto suddenly smiles is usual big smile, "Hehe yeah I just didn't get much sleep last night...haha but I'm okay Sakura-chan! I'm glad your dad's alright!"

Sakura smiled back at him, and finally ate as she watched Naruto quickly down his whole plate within a minute only to serve himself some more food.

"Mmmmmmmmm! Sakura-chan you cook so good I can eat your food all day! Hahahaa!"

Sakura laughed, "Thank you Naruto! Please help yourself okay?"

"Mmm-hm!" Naruto nodded eagerly as he continued to eat, it made Sakura a little more nervous now, but she was excited to tell him.

"Ah...Naruto, can I tell you something?"

"Hm?" Naruto looked up from his plate and gulped, he nodded his head as he took a gulp of his orange juice.

"Ah well...um.." Ahhhhhh! Why am I suddenly so nervous?.. Sakura gulped and decided she would show him the paper first.

"Hold on okay..? I have something I want to show you!"

"Sure thing Sakura-chan!"

Sakura quickly got up and ran to her room, and found her acceptance letter, she bit her lip and ran as fast as she could down the stairs without falling on her face first.

"Here!" she said breathlessly, "This...is.." she gulped, "This is...something I got...around the time of my birthday and..."

Naruto took the paper from her hand...he knew what this was because Sasuke had already informed him...but his heart still hammered against his chest. He read the paper quickly and felt his heart sink...Sakura-chan...finally got a way out of here...

"Ah..so..."

Naruto watched Sakura bite her pale pink lips, as she tried to hold back her smile, "I'm...thinking about taking the offer...and I..was wondering what you thought of it Naruto."

Naruto smiled as he beckoned his hand, "Come here.." he whispered, he took her soft little hand and yanked her over to him. Naruto smiled warmly at her as Sakura landed on the spot right between his legs. He held tightly in his arms and began to laugh, "Hahahahaa Congratulations Sakura-chan!" Sakura'a face lit up...she couldn't move again.

She felt his strong arms wrap around her tightly as he squeezed the life out of her again.

"I'm...so happy for you Sakura-chan..." he whispered in her ear, and Sakura choked on her words. She couldn't even mutter the words 'thank you' without losing breath.

Naruto continued on as he held her in his arms, "I'm...really...happy..." his voice was shaken again.

"Naruto?.." Was he crying again?... "Naruto...something's wrong isn't it...why are you..."

"Don't say it! Just..." his breathing became shallow again, "Just...stay like this okay?...I..."

Naruto's heart couldn't take it...He didn't want to cry when he saw her in front of the door but he couldn't help it. His mind went straight to the thoughts of Sasuke's dream...he knew something was wrong..he knew something happened to her...he was so angry at himself for not remembering... He knew there was a reason why Sakura was this way...how could be so stupid and ignorant...how could he forget something so significant...

"It's nothing Sakura..I'm just a bit tired..."

Sakura slowly brushed the back of his head with her hand, she stroked his locks slowly and felt him relax at her soothing touch, "Would you like to take a nap?...You could use his bed...I don't think he's home and you know he wouldn't care..."

Naruto shook his head, "Nah.." he sniffed, "I think I'll head home...but I uh..I just came by to see how you're doing.."

Naruto moved his head away from her shoulder again and looked at her...he slowly took off her specs and watched her big green eyes.

Sakura suddenly felt tears streaming down her eyes... her heart was aching...

"Sakura-chan...why are you.."

"Don't you trust me Naruto?..."

Naruto was taken back by her sudden question... "What are you talking about Sakura-chan of course I trust you..."

"Then why can't you tell me what's bothering you?..."

"I.." he bit his lip... "I can't right now..but...how about this...if you come over to my house for lunch tomorrow...I'll tell you everything on my mind okay?..."

"Everything?.."

"Yeah...everything" Naruto smiled as he wiped away her tears, "So don't go crying for me anymore okay?"

Sakura smiled, "Deal..."

"Haha, awesome!" He smiled big and wide, "This is going to be the first time you came over since you got back won't it Sakura-chan!?"

Sakura nodded as she smiled back, she knew Naruto was a man of his word so she would definitely know what's going on tomorrow for sure!

Naruto laughed, "Well, I should go, I have a lot of other things to do!"

"Right! Me too..!" Sakura and Naruto walked towards the door, and Naruto took her hand again.

"Thank you for comforting me Sakura-chan...and thanks for the food, I was actually starving hahahaha"

Sakura smiled and just wrapped her arms around him, "You know I'll always have a warm plate of food for you whenever you come over Naruto!"

He hugged her back and chuckled, "I know...thank you...for being there for me"

"I should be the one telling you that..."

They laughed as Naruto got ready to leave when Sakura called out to him again, "Hey...Naruto?"

Naruto looked up at her and smiled, "Hm?"

"Can...can you keep what I showed you a secret from him?..." Naruto didn't need a name to know she was talking about Sasuke.

"I...kind of want to tell him on my own and-"

"Don't worry about it Sakura-chan, your secret is safe with me" he smiled and opened the door, "I won't tell Sasuke...it's not my place to anyway"

"Thanks Naruto...and thank you for inviting me over!"

"No probs Sakura-chan! I'll see you tomorrow!" Sakura bid him goodbye and closed the door... "Well.." she sighed, "that was random..." Sakura let her legs give out as she sat with her back against the door. She pressed her head against the door and closed her eyes, "At least he knows...now...to tell him..." Sakura gulped, she knew what she had to do...I got dad's approval...I got Mommy's...I got Kaka-sensei's...now...I only have to tell...him but...if I tell him I'm leaving then that means I have to tell him I want a...Sakura shook her head... she held her breath and closed her eyes. "I can't even finish my thoughts...how am I going to actually say it?.."

God...this is going to be hard..

Uchiha Manor: 2:30p.m

"Aniki where are you ?!" Sasuke swung the door open and stomped inside the house his body heating up with anger.

"Oh Sasuke! Welcome home sweetie !" Mikoto chirped but Sasuke didn't notice. Mikoto noticed the look in Sasuke's eyes and figured he was too busy scanning the area for his brother to notice her. Sasuke rushed up the stairs and made a right turn parallel to his old room where Itachi's lair was located.

Knock-knock "Aniki open the damn door I know you're in there !" Sasuke didn't bother knocking the solid black door again and flew it open but Itachi was no where to be found. "MOM WHERE IS HE?!" Sasuke shouted to the top of his lungs. Mikoto walked up the stairs with a hamper in her hands. "Your brother is out on a brief business trip, he should be home by tomorrow. Why honey, is there something mommy can help you with instead?"

Sasuke bit down in his tongue preventing himself to swear in front of his mother, "...no .. I'll give him a call and talk to him tomorrow." Sasuke greeted his mother goodbye and walked out the house. Roughly brushing his hair with his hands Sasuke let out a frustrated sigh. He didn't know what to do, he needed answers, he needed closer, he needed something. Sasuke looked down at his phone and realized he still had time to do something to help him with all this.

That's it ! He thought and rushed over to his car. Sasuke googled the name of the boarding school and headed over to Suna. After a half hour drive Sasuke arrived to the school and was immediately taken by how prestige it looked. His interest was immediately drained out by the sight that was placed just across the street: An all boys school.

Fuck my life. Sasuke was about to take a better look when he suddenly heard someone call out to him. "Uchiha."

Sasuke turned around and recognized the face behind the voice instantly. "You. What do you want? I'm busy." Suigetsu chuckled and wiped a fake tear from his eye, "So you recognize me huh? Heh I'm so flattered to be remembered by the famous Sasuke Uchiha! Bad boy of Konoha! Brother of Itachi and more importantly son of Fugaku Uchiha." Suigetsu strolled over nonchalantly to Sasuke as he continued on, "Youngest son of Mikoto Uchiha, best friend of the one and only Naruto Uzumaki. Hmm... Part of the famous Konoha 12 oh and... " Suigetsu made sure he was close enough to whisper into Sasuke's ear, "and... Husband of a certain Ms. Sakura Haruno...am I right ?" Suigetsu smirked in victory when he noticed Sasuke's jaw clench. Sasuke pushed him back as hard as he can but immediately choked the white haired boy. "Don't fuck around with me if you know what's best for you." Sasuke gritted between his teeth. He shoved the boy away when he noticed him changing in color and turned away when he heard shark boy's voice again.

"How is she by the way?!" Suigetsu asked making Sasuke pause and look back at him. "Your girl I mean... How is she?" Sasuke raised an eyebrow, "She's fine and that's none of your business."

"Heh." Suigetsu smirked as he walked pass Sasuke and looked back to make sure his eyes locked with the Uchiha's, "and by she you mean ...Sakura ...or Karin?" Suigetsu held back a laugh when he watched Sasuke's eyes widen in panic for just a second before he took control again. He waved off Sasuke and walked off. Pfft, idiot... If he doesn't want pinky then I'll take her off his hands ..HELL I'd take the other one too ..it would be fun torturing her. Sasuke glared at shark boy as he walked off. Sasuke decided on doing a quick search of the school before heading out so he had a sense of where she will staying if..she decides to leave. Well why wouldn't she? Sasuke thought to himself... He felt a clench to his chest and quickly brushed it off. It hurt. The pain of reality, all these intense confusing emotions he was feeling hurt him.

Sasuke walked further down the sidewalk and realized he was heading closer towards the girls dorm. Sasuke suddenly looked around to see a swarm of girls staring at him in awe. He frowned as they giggled and winked at him. Sasuke continued to walk further down when he suddenly heard a voice behind him.

"You're not allowed on that side of the area at this time." Sasuke didn't bother to stop as he continued walking until he was abruptly stopped by a cold hand on his shoulder. "Stop." Sasuke angrily shook off the hand and turned around to face a pale red headed guy. His eyes were light green and lifeless.

"Don't touch me." Sasuke growled as he slapped the hand away.

The redhead stepped closer eyeing Sasuke intensely, "I can do what I want, and I suggest you get out of here before you get thrown out..."

Sasuke smirked, "call security see if I care." Sasuke was about 2 inches taller than him and he looked like he would easily take the guy down.

"I won't have to I can just throw you out myself." The guy grabbed Sasuke by his shirt but Sasuke quickly took a hold of his neck, "go on throw me out." The boys were about to jump at each other when another voice calls out to them in hopes of breaking up the fight. "Gaara let go!"

The redhead hesitated for a second before letting Sasuke go and shoving him back with impact.

The girl that ran over looked over at Sasuke "we never seen you around and I'm sure as hell set on calling security! Unless you want to get locked up for trespassing I suggest you leave at once whoever you are!"

"Hn." Was all Sasuke said as he walked pass them both making sure he got a shove at the redhead with his shoulder on his way out. Sasuke smirked when he heard the girl scream and struggle to hold the guy named Gaara back.

Sasuke took out his phone and wrote a quick few notes before driving off. He got enough information about this place. Now all Sasuke had to do was meet his brother.

Uchiha Compound

There Itachi sat on his chair swirling a pen between his fingers. The door swung open and Itachi did his best to hold back a smirk when his little brother stood just outside his office. Sasuke narrowed in on the faint smirk that played on Itachi's lips, it's as if he knew his brother was coming and he knew exactly what he was going to ask. Sasuke slammed the door shut with his foot as he strived towards Itachi's desk.

Slamming his hands on his brother's desk Sasuke locked eyes with his brother's. Eyes that were a reflection of his own, but if you looked closer you could see there was a glint in his eyes. Itachi's eyes looked different it's as if he knew the answers to all the questions in the world. " I'm not going to ask, because you know what the question is... So I'm gonna just stand here and wait until you start talking" Sasuke's voice came out much rougher than he had hoped.

"Hn." replied Itachi as he poked his brother's forehead and made him sit back. "sit little brother..let me tell you a story about a man who lost love before he ever found it..."
