Lucy tells the girls she's going to confess to Natsu...only for a surprising event to happen

Drabble...

Lucy pushed the huge Fairy Tail doors open, her brown eyes gleaming with determination.

"Guys!" She called, addressing all the females of the Guild. Erza and Lisanna looked up from their game of spoons, staring at Lucy quizzically.

"I need to talk to you!" Lucy exclaimed, pushing Erza towards the bar. Cana turned in her seat, setting her barrel down with a wide, dazed grin.

"Hello Lucy." Mira greeted kindly, giving the blonde a smile. Lucy grinned in response, clenching her fist in front of her.

"I'm gonna do it!" She promised, a glint coming to her eyes. Lisanna gave Levy a look, questioning the bluenette what was going on. Levy shrugged in response, confused as well.

"Do what?" Erza spoke up for the girls. Bisca nodded in agreement, leaning forward.

Lucy also leaned forward, a dramatic edge to her actions. "I'm gonna...!"

She suddenly reared back, a blush spreading across her cheeks. "N-Never mind...forget I said anything..." She stuttered, embarrassed.

"Just spit it out already!" Cana complained, smacking her barrel. Lucy jumped, ducking her head bashfully.

No..I can do this! She promised herself, lifting her spirits.

"I'm gonna...

confess to Natsu!" Lucy put out boldly, her stance firm. Mira brightened automatically, clapping her hands together giddly.

"Good~"

"Finally!"

"Yay Lu-chan!"

Words of encouragement were thrown around way too loudly, making the blonde nervous.

"Okay...here I go!" Lucy said uncertainly, her voice thick with the jitters. She began walking forward, a large smile planted on her face―

"Yeah! Go Luce!"

A very familiar and very not female voice called energetically. Lucy froze rigid in her spot, shoulders tensing.

Horror filled her to the brim as she slowly turned around, only to see Natsu sitting at the end of the bar...

His hands were raised over his head, eyes closed as he smiled widely. She felt a knot form in her throat and chest, chestnut eyes popping.

"N-Natsu!?" She yelled, feeling her face raise a few hundred degrees. Said boy's eyes flickered open at the sound of his name, his eyes even smiling.

"Hey Luce!" He replied cheekily.

"H-How long have you been here?!" She demanded, trembling. A giggle escaped from Levy's lips at the predicament.

"Um...the whole time?" He replied nonchalantly, lowering his arms. She jolted, disbelief shooting up her spine.

"And w-what did you hear..?" She blushed, lowering her head bashfully.

"Everything!" He replied, his voice not faltering the slightest. "Go tell him~" Natsu encouraged, causing a few females to laugh.

"Natsu, you do know who we were talking about, right?" Lucy asked carefully.

"Of course, Nat―oh."
