Third Person POV

It was the crack of dawn on Onderon, creatures were squawking and chirping. These creatures awoke Ahsoka from her slumber, she sat up in her cot, stretching her arms and yawning simultaneously before slumping, thinking about what occurred the night before. Remembering the conversation she shared with her Masters, she decided she was going to face the day with a headstrong attitude, putting the purpose of the mission before her feelings. Throwing her legs over the cot, she faced her tent opening and made the decision to go and wake Anakin. Ahsoka jumped out of her tent and strolled over to Anakin's tent. The humid air surrounded her as she admired the Onderon landscape, creatures flying from tree to tree, bending branches as they landed. There was smoke trailing from the dulling fires from the night before, she could feel a presence around that area and decided to walk towards the camp.

"Morning, Snips." Anakin said as he noticed her strutting towards him.

"Hey, Master. Did you sleep well?" She asked as she stretched her arms upwards and yawned. Anakin lightly chuckled at his tired Padawan and sat down on a nearby log, as did she.

"I got enough, I'm guessing you didn't rest much?" He questioned as she crossed her arms. She shook her head in response as she felt her mood drop. Anakin noticed that she was looking away.

"Are you sure you don't want to rest up today and clear your mind?" Ahsoka looked up at her master in disbelief.

"No, Master. I need to focus on the mission." She did feel like she wanted to clear her mind and catch up on some well needed sleep, but her duties came first. She needed to face her attachment issue head on and move passed it. Anakin smirked at her and acknowledged what she said. He knew the Jedi in her was capable of pushing her thoughts aside but, the teenager inside her was incapable of doing so. Ahsoka stood up from the log, Anakin watched as she rose up.

"You're so stubborn, Snips." He chuckled. Ahsoka frowned down at her master. She would've snapped back but, she heard footsteps heading towards the two. Obi-Wan and Rex strutted towards the two Jedi, looking like they have not slept well. Anakin and Ahsoka both greeted the duo as they sat down beside them, Obi-Wan and Rex began discussing the strategies and teaching methods they were going to use on the rebels. Ahsoka allowed the men to talk while she noticed a familiar young man approached the four, she smiled as she realised that it was Lux. Anakin noticed the sudden change in Ahsoka's mood and glanced towards her, he noticed that Lux was swiftly walking over to the group.

"Morning all." The senator stated with a nod of the head, meeting all but Ahsoka's glance. She turned away in awkwardness. Lux finally looked towards Ahsoka and attempted to catch her attention to coax her away for a moment, she finally looked to his direction.

"Commander?" He asked with a hint of reluctancy, "may I have a word?" Ahsoka looked towards her three superiors for guidance, Anakin gestured his head for her to go.

"Uh… of course." Ahsoka stuttered. Lux began walking in the direction of the foliage, in which Ahsoka followed, Anakin focused on the two until they were no longer in sight. Obi-Wan sighed.

"I wouldn't worry Anakin; they both know what they're doing." Anakin looked over at his master.

"I sure hope so." He snarled as he began to walk to the main camp to prepare the rebels for the day. The thought of Ahsoka being hurt by the boy again made his protective demeaner escalate.

Ahsoka could feel her heart beating faster than ever before, millions of thoughts were racing around her head about the awaiting conversation she was about to have with Lux. She followed the young senator on a short walk to desolate area with nothing but vegetation and wildlife, far away from any means of civilisation, nothing but trees, plants and many of Onderon's native creatures. Lux began to crouch beside a small stream of running water and patted the ground next to him for Ahsoka to do the same. Ahsoka was in awe of her surroundings, she could not believe that something so peaceful was still present with an entire galaxy plagued with chaos and conflict. She was speechless and Lux knew she was.

"Beautiful, isn't it." Whispered Lux, Ahsoka turned to face him.

"It's amazing, Lux." She beamed.

"I come here to think most days. I spent a few hours here last night." He admitted, trying not to let Ahsoka know why he was here. She looked into his eyes and became aware of the hurt he was feeling. Ahsoka took in the hidden beauty of Onderon and felt her troubles drift away, Lux turned to her and saw the immediate effect this place had on the young Jedi and could not help but smile at the happiness she was emitting. He saw her eyes beam wide, with a tooth bearing smile, Lux felt his heart grow warmer after seeing Ahsoka's expression.

"You are so beautiful." Lux breathed, realising he just said this aloud. Ahsoka focused her gaze to Lux's rosy face, she too blushed at the compliment. In this moment, the two conflicted teens felt as if they were the only individuals in the universe, surrounded by nature.

"Lux?" Ahsoka questioned. "where do we go from here?" The senator looked down towards the flowing stream, dumbfounded and unable to respond. He reached over to the Jedi and took her hand in his own.

"I don't know, Ahsoka." She could sense Lux's conflicted thoughts on their current situation, she was too very conflicted, her brain telling her to be rational and prioritise the Jedi teachings, but her heart is telling her to confess her true feelings. Ahsoka felt guilty for her feelings towards Lux and almost disappointed in herself for feeling this way, never before did she believe that she could develop strong feelings for someone, she felt as if she was weak. The Padawan looked towards her hand that was interwind with Mr Bonteri's and lightly smiled.

"Ahsoka… since I left you in that escape pod… I've been unable to stop thinking about you." Said Lux. Ahsoka could feel the passion emanating from Lux as he uttered those words. Confusion and affection filled the two teens as their complicated situation escalated. Ahsoka now knew what the right thing to do was.

"Lux, I…" BOOM. She was cut off by the sound of blaster fire, igniting lightsabers and a range of commands in the near distance. Both Ahsoka and Lux sprung into action, racing back to camp, heartrates accelerating. In a matter of minutes, the two made it back to the rebel base and the situation quickly became clear, droids had found the location of the camp. Ahsoka pounced to the sides of her Masters, deflecting shots with her twin blades, Lux grabbing the nearest blaster and began shooting the droids. Anakin looked beside him and saw his Padawan wielding her green sabers and smirked knowing she had not lost focus of the mission.

The battle lasted a short while, the rebels achieving victory. It was decided amongst the band of rebels that they needed to get to the city of Iziz, now that the enemy were aware of their base. Before days end, the rebels must sneak into the city in order to execute the next phase of the plan, the three Jedi and Rex were gathering the supplies needed to get into the city. Ahsoka and Anakin were both loading a trailer of organic matter, when Anakin sensed unease surrounding his apprentice. He was curious as to what her and Bonteri had discussed earlier on, she seemed more guarded than before and he was anxious to know why. Anakin of course loved to meddle in business that wasn't his own and wanted to know if Ahsoka had been hurt by this boy, Force help him if anyone hurt his Snips.

"Hey, Snips?" She glanced over to him without moving her head, continuing with the task she was doing. Anakin instantly knew something was wrong, causing him to jump to conclusions.

"Did Bonteri hurt you?" Anakin demanded, disrupting Ahsoka from loading the trailer. A shocked Ahsoka turned to see her Master's screwed up face.

"No, Master!" She quickly fired back irritably. Anakin's expression soon changed as he realised she was telling the truth, he sighed.

"Ahsoka… I'm worried about you. I understand what you are going through-"

"You're being overprotective again." Ahsoka snapped, cutting him off. She folded her arms and shot him an unapproving look.

"Snips, what did he say to you? You're too guarded and it's concerning." Ahsoka sighed and let her arms fall back down to her side. She sat upon the side of the trailer, Anakin sitting beside her.

"We just talked, Master." She mumbled, looking at the floor. Ahsoka knew that Anakin only wanted to help her through her struggles but, she hated how persistent he was. Anakin decided to not press the matter for much longer, he looked over to his young friend.

"Ahsoka… I'm sorry for pestering you about this, it's just…" He trailed off. "After your first meeting with the boy, I just can't help my instinct to protect you." She slowly lifted her head to see her master, cheeks becoming rosy at the thought of what happened between her and Lux on Raxus.

"I know you can't help it, Master, but please leave me to figure this out on my own." Ahsoka begged. Anakin could see the plead in her eyes, part of his knew she needed to figure all of this out solo, but another part was telling him to guide her through this all. He struggled to accept that his Padawan was trailing down the same path he has once walked. She was falling in love. Anakin knew she was more than capable of this, as long as she remembers her purpose, but he just could not help how overprotective he was over her. He smiled at his apprentice.

"Okay, Snips." Anakin said reluctantly. Ahsoka weakly smiled in response to Anakin and shared a brief moment of compassion, in which was cut short as few rebels approached them. Lux emerged from them and approached the two perched upon the trailer, Ahsoka could see the visible discomfort Anakin was displaying.

"Are you ready to go?" Lux asked hesitantly. Anakin stood up from the trailer and crossed his arms, towering over Lux.

"Yes." Was all he muttered to the young boy, Lux was also displaying the same discomfort as Anakin. He nodded and moved swiftly towards Ahsoka. The young couple hopped on the front of the trailer, ready to make their move to Iziz. Anakin turned and walked towards the creatures, he, Obi-Wan and Rex were riding to travel.

"How is Ahsoka?" Questioned Obi-Wan, having known about the chat his old apprentice had with the young Jedi. Anakin looked over at Ahsoka and Lux, he could sense the delight emanating from the two that they were able to be in each other's company once more.

"You know," He beamed, "I think she's just fine."

That's all for now folks! I know this isn't the best, but I hope you've enjoyed it! I will try my hardest to update more but for now, stay safe and I'll be back.
