I know all of you want to kill me and I am so sorry. No, I am not giving up on this story. My other is being put on hold for now though sorry. All I can say is High school. That is what happened to this. I probably won't be able to update until June so heads up on that. I also have been having horrible writers block so if you have any ideas for the story please PM me or leave a suggestion in the comments.

When Jay and Gilan arrived at the castle Jay was basically buzzing with excitement. She hadn't seen her friend in a while and since they were in a sort of strange world she really couldn't wait to see Kate. Though her excitement didn't last long for as soon as they entered the castle gate, the two were immediately escorted up to the Baron's office. The two looked at each other curiously but knew that something was wrong.

The Baron greeted them telling Gilan about the situation. Of course Jay over heard the conversation becoming increasingly worried and at the news of Kate missing her worry grew even more. Where could she have gone? Why would she leave anyway? Kate knew as well as she did that this was a dangerous world and she shouldn't go wandering around alone.

Gilan gave her a look and walked out with her quickly following behind wanting to know what to do now. Once out of ear shot of anyone she finally spoke up. "Gilan, I know Kate. She wouldn't go walking off by herself. She's not stupid enough to do that." She told him with earnest sure that Kate wasn't stupid enough for that.

Gilan nodded at that still walking seeming in thought. "Jay, I don't want you getting into this. There has seemed to be a group wandering around this part of the kingdom. We have yet to track them down. They're dangerous. I don't want you getting into this. I still need to get orders from Crowley but I want to go after this group. You will be staying here."

Jay frowned at that. "But that's ….shes my friend! I can't just leave her out there! She could get into trouble…..or….or…"

Gilan gave her a look. "I said no." that was all he said as they headed back to the cabin. Kate was in a bad mood the rest of the day but secretly planned how to get out of there and follow him if and when he left to look after this group.

Kate's POV

Kate went silent as a man walked into the clearing. He was definitely a warrior type. Big and burly. He looked somewhere a woodsman and a knight. He wore an armor of sort, leather and metal patched here and there. He didn't notice that she was awake at first and she didn't make her presence known.

He put down a bundle of wood and started a fire. She looked around her trying to see if there was anything she could distinguish around her. She only caught his attention as she moved.

"You're awake." He said in a gruff voice but didn't pay any other attention to her.

"Hey, let me go. Why did you take me anyway? What value do I have to you?" she asked hoping if wasn't any of her fears.

"It isn't my idea. I am to bring you to the Leader. Now be quiet. Or I'll gag you. I don't have time for questions or annoying little girls."

She went quiet frowning lightly and still rubbing her wrists against the rock behind her. Her wrists had started to bleed but she grit her teeth and didn't let a sound leave her mouth.

The man continued to busy himself around the camp seeming to start to clean up actually. That meant that he was going to be leaving soon taking her with him no doubt. She closed her eyes focusing on the rope shifting around every once in a while trying to get a better position to cut the rope.

It was about half an hour later that the rope finally snapped. She gasped but bit her lip and didn't say anything else hoping he wouldn't notice. As he had his back turned to her, she slowly stood up and backed up before deciding to do something stupid. She turned and ran into the woods hearing him yell behind her. She continued to run scared for her life.

Kate could feel tears running down her cheeks as she weaved through the trees. Never had she been more scared in her life. She heard the man running behind her calling out threats if she didn't stop but she couldn't. She couldn't stop that would be terrible. She ran toward a group of bushes only to stop when she came to a river. Kate looked behind her knowing there was no way out and ran down the embankment to the river hoping to get in and lose him. For she didn't know much about tracking but what she did know is that they couldn't track you in water.

As soon as her feet hit the water she gasped at the coldness but continued to wade deeper into the river before walking downstream. The water came up to her waist and she continued to hold her breath only gasping in short amounts of air when she had the chance. She continued to look behind her trying to see if he was still following her.

As soon as she turned her head once more to look behind her at the river, a hand clamped around the collar of her shirt and dragged her out of the water. Kate started to scream and kick at her kidnapper but he shook his head.

"You shouldn't have run off little girl." He growled at her before dragging her to the camp once more. "This will just make everything harder for you." She was about to spit a curse back at him but felt a blunt force slam into her head and she blacked out once more.

That was horrible and short I am so sorry. But I had to get that chapter done with if I wanted to move on with the story. I am so sorry.
