I own nothing

Chapter 8

Third pov

"Gather the army, we advance on Olympus tonight." Percy's voice echoed throughout his kingdom. After the appearance of the enemy, Percy has been absolutely pissed, not listening to anyone besides his own thoughts.

"Percy, are you sure we're not rushing into this? We don't want to lose the war because we underestimated the Olympians." Reyna asked her lover with concern.

"We will be fine, I have a plan, but I have a deal to make before it goes through." Percy told her, to which she nodded.

"Okay, just be careful." Reyna said softly, while giving him a peck on the lips. Percy nodded absentmindedly, thinking about the next few hours, before flashing off to make the deal.

Shadows collected outside of what appeared to be a small, abandoned warehouse near the city of New York. The front door was off of most of its rusted hinges, the gutters bent off in random directions, also rusted.

Percy stepped out onto the soft green grass, looking around at all the stone statues that littered the yard. Aunty Em's garden emporium read the faded sign on the building. Percy quickly shuffled inside of the building, shadows clinging to him as he walked.

He continued into the back room where he saw a small throne with an average looking kid on it. Average until you saw the golden eyes that were owned by the teen.

"Ah Perseus, deciding to come join my side at last, how pleasant." Kronos said with his ancient voice, the sound of nails scraping a chalkboard in the undertone of the voice.

"No, bring you mother here. We have a deal to make. We both know I would never bow to you, Kronos." Percy said.

"Fine, I will summon her." Kronos said before chanting in ancient Greek. A few seconds later, a shimmering image of a beautiful woman appeared. She was dressed in a brown night gown, and no other clothes.

"Well, well, Perseus Jackson, what can I help you with?" Gaea asked, her face not moving as she spoke, her eyes not opening either.

"I want to make a deal, one that will help us both." Percy told the image of Gaea. She nodded and waved her hand, telling him to go on.

"I need you to attack Olympus tonight, at the same time we strike, to get rid of the Olympians once and for all. Once they are gone and I finish off Aether, you can have control of half of the earth, while I get the other half." Percy told her his idea.

"Hmm, your deal is quite good, but I am the earth, I want control of all of my territory and my inhabitants." Gaea told Percy.

"That can't happen, if I let you take control, all humans will either become slaves or be killed. Besides, unless you choose to accept my deal, then I will spend my time wiping you out as well, after I deal with the Olympians of course. And we both know you are not at full power and the only thing that can kill a primordial is another primordial, so think about it." Percy told her.

"You drive a hard bargain, Perseus. I don't really want to deal with you anymore, and this could be my way of getting you out of my hair. I accept your offer, but I want a solemn oath first." Gaea said.

"Fine, I swear on the styx that you will get half of the earth for your territory, as long as you follow through with your side of the deal." Percy swore and Gaea's sleeping face smiled.

"I swear to your terms, child." Gaea also swore and thunder boomed overhead.

Percy nodded and vanished in a swirl of shadows.

"Is the army ready?" Percy asked Perses as he got back from his trip. "Yes, sir, we are ready to advance when you are." Perses told him and Percy nodded.

"Let's get this over with." Percy said as he waved his hand and him and his army of five hundred vanished to New York.

The demigods and nature spirits were camped out in front of the empire state building, with no other souls in site, as the Olympians had removed all citizens from the area. The demigods we chatting around, when they all felt a small rumbling in the earth, followed by multiple loud roars coming from all directions.

This sent the protectors of Olympus into hysteria, all searching for their weapons and armor. The ones who were equipped flooded out onto the streets in front of the building. They came to a halt when they saw the marching army of shades and hell hounds led by a figure dressed in all black battle armor.

When the two armies were within one hundred yards of each other, Percy yelled "Charge." The army behind him flowed out behind his standing position. Percy stomped his foot and the ground rumbled beneath the two armies. The demigods stumbled around as the shadow army barreled on, not affected by their master's earthquake.

As the demigods regained their balance, the enemy was already upon them, hacking and slashing with swords and spears made of shadows. Percy snapped his fingers and pitch black arrows fell to the earth from the rooftops seconds later. The shades Percy summoned reloaded and shot into the demigod army once again, this time sending the army into disarray as the comrades of the standing demigods seemed to fall randomly.

A hunting horn blew loud in the distance, as the backups for the Olympian army showed up. The shower of arrow, now on their side, helped the demigods slow the charging shades. The arrows of the shades also slowed until there were none flying anymore, as Percy felt his first challenger appear.

A silver arrow flew by Percy's head, as he leaned his head back slightly to dodge it. Percy looked up to the rooftops to see Artemis with another arrow loaded. As she released the arrow with her fingers, Percy vanished from his spot, reappearing on the other side of the rooftop as Artemis.

"So, you decide to help them after all. I should've known, you always were a daddy's girl, but I thought this time would be different because now you're betraying your ex-lieutenant and huntress. I sincerely thought you were better than them." Percy snarled at her.

She looked down "You wouldn't understand." She said angrily.

"I probably would have, but you made the wrong decision this time. Leave the battle now, or I will kill you." Percy told her.

"No, Olympus is my home." Artemis said.

"So be it." Percy said before charging. Artemis barely had time to block Percy's sword of shadows with her hunting knives.

Percy put more pressure on her knives that were blocking his sword, crossed in an X. Artemis buckled underneath Percy, but rolled out of the way as Percy's sword collided with the rooftops. The roof top cracked in multiple places, as Percy stood back up.

Artemis pulled out her bow and shot five arrows in quick succession, all towards different parts of Percy's body. Percy's form shimmered right before the arrows hit him and they passed straight through him, as if he was air.

Artemis stopped in confusion "New trick I learned. You didn't think you could beat me by yourself, did you?" Artemis' face became red in concentration. "Trying to flash out won't work, I built us our own gladiator ring, no interferences allowed. Isn't that great?" Percy explained.

Artemis threw her bow down and pulled out her knives again. She charged Percy, as he shook his head. Percy blocked one of her knifes and dodged the other at the same time. She swung her knife towards his head in a vertical strike, while swinging her other towards his midsection with a horizontal strike. Percy's sword evaporated as he stepped in her guard and pushing her overhand strike in a different direction, while grabbing her left wrist coming towards his midsection.

Percy leaned down and whispered into her ear "Did you really think I would kill you?" before bringing his head back up "I have some people I know who want you to alive, I'm just going to take you out of the war. I'll see you in a week, arty." Percy said as he brought his other hand up and touched her forehead and she vanished from her spot. In a week she would wake up in a bed inside of Percy's house, completely fine.

Percy walked over to the edge of the building and looked down at the raging battle. The demigods outnumbered his forces by a hundred or so. Gaea's forces should be coming soon, Percy thought. Percy watched for another minute before he stepped on to the ledge of the building. Percy jumped down off the building, feeling the rush of wind fly by his ears, before he slammed into the ground knee first. The crater that formed around Percy had knocked multiple demigods flying into the air.

Percy looked up when the dust cleared and saw only twenty or so demigods left before he reached the doors of Olympus. Percy exited his crouching position and walked towards the demigods who looked at him apprehensively. One of them, a bulky Ares kid, charged Percy. The charging kid swung his bronze sword towards Percy's neck, Percy continued walking, but crouched down when the sword came near. As the sword passed Percy stuck his shoulder into the teen's gut and picked him up, before slamming him back first into the ground, making it crack and the kid to cough up blood. Percy, barely breaking stride, raised his foot and brought it down on his face, making his neck snap to the side, killing him instantly.

A couple of the remaining kids dropped their weapons and ran, but the rest charged Percy, anger coursing through them for killing there comrade so brutally. Percy rolled under the first few strikes and came out in a crouched position before punching one of the demi-gods in the knee, causing it to snap in the wrong direction and making him cry out in pain.

Percy's sword shimmered into his hand before he used it to block a strike coming to his chest. As their blades were locked, Percy kicked his foot into the demigod's sword hand making the sword fall out. The demigod was too shocked to see the fist flying towards his head. The kid crumpled to the ground and Percy felt multiple shadows moving right behind him so he rolled forward, dodging the strikes. Percy raised his hand and light flew out into the stomach of three demigods, giving them high degree burns all over their front sides.

Percy stood up and brought his hand up to catch the hand of the incoming swordsman. Percy twisted his enemy's wrist until he heard the crack that emanated from said wrist. Percy saw a spear coming at him this time. Percy swung the demigod he was holding by the wrist until he was right in front of the incoming spear.

The enemy who had thrust the spear had overstepped and couldn't stop the spear as it entered his teammate's stomach. He had a look of horror on his face as he realized what he had done. The enemy turned to have a large spear thrust through his stomach, as a battle armed Perses appeared behind him.

"Sorry, I'm late, I got caught up." Perses explained.

"No problem, the demigods should be held up long enough for us to finish our job up there." Percy said pointing up towards the sky around the empire state building.

"Let's go we are wasting time, Gaea doesn't appear to be showing up." Perses said

Percy nodded and the two walked towards the doors of the empire state, a raging battle still going on behind them.

Well, sorry for the wait, im gonna be honest, I wasn't really that busy, im just lazy. But here it is Part 1 of the final battle. Sorry its short
