For the sake of convenience, though a lot of this chapter is told from a flashback perceptive with Percy telling it. It will still feature Artemis/Diana's perspective as well to save me having to write another chapter filling in the blanks afterwards.

Harmony

(Percy)

"What do you mean by the beginning Percy?" Thalia demanded as I groaned at my cousins, usual lack of tact. She could at least let me get ready to start. Hell I hardly knew half the details myself because if Artemis or Diana could be secretive on their own. It was like that fact had squared itself now. That was when I was even able to remain conscious in the same room as her for an extended period of time.

The truth is I had some idea of what had happened to her or rather what she had become. What I did not know was why it had happened exactly.

That intense crushing feeling that she radiated just by being present was enough to knock out the hunters after a minute or two, I had been forced to endure that for the better part of five days.

Not for the first time in the last few days did I curse the distinct lack of furniture in Artemis's temple; by comparison it made my place look like a slightly better Ikea store. Sure I knew she preferred to live outdoors but she could at least make an effort to cater for guests on the off-chance someone should visit. But that was beside the point for the time being and getting off topic.

Waving my hand and hoping the goddess resting in the next room would stay away for time being, I summoned two dozen bean bags for the hunters to sit on, rather than the cold marble floor. Thankfully they quickly got the hint and sat on them without a word and the door behind me remained shut.

"I suppose it all began when everyone thought you were going to lose the game, Morganna was just defeated and it was clear that despite the monumental effort that Zoe was showing, it was clear she could barely walk let alone carry on fighting. Thalia yes I know that you were still in the game, but in truth at the time we did not, we saw Reyna's arrow hit you and you dropped to the ground. We were more focused on Morganna at the time for obvious reasons." I said quickly interjecting before my cousin could comment.

"So with only the two Amazon charioteers clearly left on the field, everyone was of the same opinion that though you had tried so hard it was ultimately futile. It was at around the time that Zoe began her final battle that Artemis was about to throw in the towel, no disrespects but we had no hope she could still succeed against half a cohort in her present shape. Not after fighting Clarisse and her 'landing'."

"So what stopped her then?" Reyna asked curiously after all if Artemis had, Reyna would have won.

"Me trying to kill several members of the gods of Heroes, probably…" I conceded sheepishly, I was not proud of what I had done or the way I reacted. But when you realise you have been lied to by everyone around you it can make you act... irrationally.

"Hold on you tried to kill the gods of Heroes, whilst surrounded by the Olympians!" Tania yelled loudly as I flinched at her raised tone. Signalling with my hands I gestured for her to be quieter.

"Well two of them to be precise and you say that like I couldn't do it." I told her flatly, the only reason I failed is because I was still stunned at the time and others anticipated my reaction.

"And yet you look like you are afraid about Artemis or Harmony or whatever she is called currently coming in here because we are being loud." Tania scoffed.

"I am not afraid of Artemis; however you would have to be a fool not to be terrified of Harmony. Being around her makes the other Olympians physically sick after a few minutes, you passed out after two minutes and she was not even moving. So watch your tongue or you can get out and save me the effort. I have not slept in six day I am not in the mood for your bullshit. Now shut up and listen." I hissed back at her, hoping that my words expressed the seriousness of the situation I was dealing with.

"So Piper and I am going to guess Jason?" Reyna asked getting back to where I was and shifting attention back from the daughter of Ares who was now sulking, if I was not so tired I probably would have just froze her in time until we were done.

"One correct although strangely the other was actually Nico." I admitted with a sigh.

"Ok I can fully support some people wanting to kill Piper on occasion, but what in hades did Death Breath do wrong?" Thalia questioned curiously.

"Which ones Piper." Amy asked before obviously told by Suzie and turning red as she laughed nervously as several others turned towards her. In truth, was it not for Artemis and Hades faster reactions at the time it would not have mattered anyway?

"As I assume that none of you are aware, just as much as I wasn't at least. I might as well tell you, Annabeth is still alive." I explained with a tone of regret. Around me it was easier to tell the older hunters from the newer ones, they looked remorseful knowing about her sacrifice. The others looked confused not recognising the name.

"Am I supposed to know who that is?" Tania questioned with a scoff, only intervention from me freezing time prevented her own Lieutenant from launching herself over several other Hunters and slapping some sense into her.

Standing up I placed one hand on Thalia's shoulder and pushed her back to the floor before releasing control of her.

Almost immediately she started to thrash about, disbelief written across her face as she refused to come to terms with it.

"Percy… what do you mean she is still alive. She died you were there." She said choking up as she futilely tried to keep a grip on my jacket as she slumped ever lower.

"Thalia I never lied to you about that, it was the truth. Just not the whole truth it seems apparently. Now as hard as it for you to hear this from me, it is a lot harder for me to explain without breaking down myself. So please just listen for the time being and I will try and answer your questions." I told her getting to my knees and wrapping my arms around the older but younger girl.

I could not blame her for lashing out in the way she did all things considered with the way I took the news at the time.

"But how can she… If she is alive why wouldn't she contact me?" Thalia deplored.

"Because if she did, then the chances are I would have found out. She wanted for me to forget her and move on at all costs." I answered hugging her tighter.

"So please let me explain and we will see if we can do something for you." I told her before sitting back and standing up."

"Percy you mean that, we can meet her again." Thalia asked her eyes full of hope.

"Sure you can." I answered not sure if the fake smile was enough to reassure her. After all there was no reason why she could not; Fate had not chosen to screw her over after all.

Taking a deep breath I restored normal time to the rest of the Hunters.

Almost immediately Tania and several of the Hunters pushed themselves away from one another still expecting the leaping Thalia to attack her. However it became abundantly clear after everyone recognised that I was now standing and the solemn looking Thalia was sitting and looking away from Tania.

"Did we just get frozen again and miss something." Phoebe asked jokingly.

"Obviously." Atlanta responded face palming as the girl next to her smiled.

"To answer your question Tania… Annabeth Chase was one of the greatest heroes I have ever met; she helped save the world on more than one occasion and was my best friend. So if you so much as demean her sacrifice a little I will personally throw you off Olympus." Thalia said slowly turning around and glaring at the other girl. The smell of Ozone becoming thick in the air.

"Annabeth was also my late girlfriend, before she was killed fighting at the final battle with Gaia." I added sombrely. At the words 'late girlfriend', finally it seemed that those that were not aware finally started to put two and two together. The truth was Annabeth was killed on the same day as Octavian's attack on the Hunt. A single casualty compared to the two dozen who senselessly were murdered that day.

"But now she is alive again right? Zoe came back right." Erika asked curiously.

"I don't think anyone can claim that Zoe came back right as she was originally. But to answer your question no she is not technically alive but nor is she dead, it's… complicated. Let me explain how I found out." I told them before retaking my seat.

(Artemis) *One week earlier*

With the final defeat of Morganna at last, our final hopes lay on Zoe who up until this moment had seemingly still been fit and capable. However from the way she was now moving it was clear that her improvised landing had done far more than knock the wind out of her.

Even so she slowly climbed over the debris that was the forts eastern wall and watchtower still keeping advancing despite the pain. Against her though were still the better part of two dozen fresh Legionnaires and the mounted figure of one of 'my' own hunters.

At the start of the battle I would have called it a fair fight, but after fighting half a cohort, Clarisse and who was forgetting suplexing an Elephant before crash landing from a hundred feet, it was clear that she was going to lose. Now I would never outright confirm this fact out loud because of the arguments it would cause. But I was biased towards the Daughter of Atlas over her fellow hunters, not just because she had served me for more than two millennia and had previously sacrificed her life to save me.

But in truth she seemed to understand me a lot better than I was able to convey myself. She understood what I expected and wanted from my followers without me needing to outright tell them at all times. Which was why she made such a brilliant Lieutenant in the first place, despite my outright haughtiness at times and ability to be outright condescending on others, regardless of who it was too.

So maybe that was why as I watched fight through two Legionnaires on her ongoing advance towards her objective that I instinctively summoned a knife to hand, finally willing to throw in the towel. There was only the two Charioteer Amazons else left on the field and they were nowhere near the enemy fort. So by the time they arrived Zoe would be defeated and they too would follow not long after, I did not have many expectations for a daughter of Mercury and Bacchus to carry us to victory.

However it was at this moment a conversation from the front row seemed to get louder, enough that we Olympians could hear. If anything it was abundantly clear that a certain goddess wanted to be heard.

"I don't know about you guys but you what it is almost a shame; I almost wanted the Hunters to win. Just to see Reyna's face but still I suppose either way was going to be a win. I suppose now though we can go celebrate New Year's tonight... Nico you still going on that date with Annabeth?" Piper said with a tone of almost smugness, if I could see her face I would have seen the grin on it.

The look a spoiled brat has when it knows it has done something wrong and that there is nothing you can do about it.

Now it was abundantly clear that some people were privy to that bit of information and others were not. The period of dead silence she had chosen to announce it was too perfect for anyone to try and say she had meant for it to be accident.

Now in normal circumstances this surprise announcements would have elicited a few shocked questions and maybe some crass remarks by my brothers to the tune of WTF? However it was not just us Olympians present.

Next to me Percy had tensed and frozen Annabeth's name was mentioned, his golden eyes dulling.

"Oh I guess I shouldn't have said that out loud, oops." The Aphrodite spawn acting ditzy before having the fucking nerve to flash away with a grin from the primed grenade she had just dropped.

"What. Did. She. Mean. Nico?" Percy finally stammered out. His eyes slowly focusing on the chair in front occupied by the son of Hades who was trying to shrink smaller and hide from the cold glare threatening to bore a hole in it.

After a nervous few seconds of not being answered, it was clear to anyone looking that at him that Percy was undergoing a complete mental breakdown. For all his strength and power he had one clear weakness, his emotions. He lived with his heart on his sleeve and anyone could see that the revelation was crushing him.

However no one present had any idea of how to actually deal with or defuse the situation. So everyone stayed silent even as the tension finally broke as Percy's right hand shot towards the watch on his left.

By the time anyone had started to react a four feet bi-metal blade was already forming in his right hand.

To his left hand side Hades was rising from his throne in an effort to restrain his adopted son from attacking his biological one.

On his right I too knew what needed to be done even as much as I hated having to do it.

Knife still in hand I slammed it through his retracting wrist and into the throne below pinning it in place. Despite this Percy failed to even acknowledge the wound at all still focused on the chair in front, instead he tried to pull the appendage free despite most of my body weight now holding the blade firm.

Unfortunately whilst I tried to hold on hand in place he figured it was easier to just use the other and grabbed the hilt with the other. Thrusting forward before his arm was grabbed by the Lord of the Dead just as the sword penetrated the back of the small throne in front at what would have been head height.

Still it took the two of us to restrain the struggling figure and force him back to his throne. And even then he still managed to kick the hilt of Maelstrom forward propelling the blade through to the hilt. Only the fact that he had slunk down saving his life, even so the sight of the blade piercing where his had been only a few minutes earlier was enough to propel the younger boy away as he scrambled to move away and crawl towards safety.

Even now as Mars appeared behind Percy and put him in a headlock. Percy was still desperately flailing trying to break free from the increasing number of people acting against him.

Finally the chains that were previously holding Frank were repurposed and began to wrap around and bind Percy to his throne.

With the divine chain now holding him I was finally able to release my grip on the knife in his arm. My hands stained were covered in ichor from the ragged wound I had been forced to inflict on my own fiancé.

Even still Percy continued to almost growl like a feral animal as he desperately attempted to break free.

"Ok I want to ask what the fuck was that all about? Where the fuck did that bitch just go? And most importantly what in hades do you mean Annabeth going on a date with him." Hermes shouted pointing at the pale figure that was now situated between the knees of Leo and Hazel.

"By the way the Hunters have just won." Venus called out nervously, I almost wanted to shout at her that no one cared and we were a little busy but even a quick glance was enough to show that she was correct. The figure in silver holding a purple flag in one hand in the middle of the fort.

"Brilliant timing as always Thalia." Jupiter cursed with a sigh and I had to agree, I did not have the time to be dealing with that as well currently.

"Hephaestus, Hermes, Hades, Artemis and an Apollo stay here, everyone else go down there and deal with that. Not a single word of this to anyone or they will be joining the same list as Miss McLean do I make myself clear? Di Angelo go hide somewhere." Jupiter commanded before separating into Greek and Roman counterparts, the Roman one swiftly flashing away as did a number of deities that were not previously mentioned. The gods of Heroes with all the enthusiasm of a zombie some still stunned by the rapid turn of events.

For a brief second I got a bad image of the two Apollos before the Roman one too disappeared.

Nico meanwhile tried to mouth the words "I'm sorry" to Percy before moving away for his own safety as requested.

The only bit of good news if it could be called that was that Anna Minerva herself was still looking after Clarisse and oblivious to what had transpired. I say good news but chances are she would have run the little bitch through with a spear there and then. And no one was taking that satisfaction away from me.

"So can someone please explain the Annabeth situation to me, last I heard and saw she was killed by Enceladus." Hermes demanded slamming his caduceus into the ground repeatedly to get attention, inadvertently causing the two snakes to flap around from the force.

"That sounds like an excellent suggestion why don't we discuss that, or is there something you want to discuss?" A voice called out angrily from behind us, standing there leaning against the railing with an annoyed expression on his face was Perseus or Pride at least holding his left hand up, the index and middle fingers becoming transparent. Of course with Percy restrained and shackled it was a reversal of when Perseus was captured.

As much as I could say many things about him, Perseus was not a complete fool any more than Percy was; he just normally acted in ways to annoy me. However he was rather calculating and could work out when something was wrong relatively quickly. Besides the fact of his phantom fingers the fact that I was missing below was probably a large hint that something was amiss.

"Oh for Olympus's sake, Annabeth Chase is not dead. Or at least not completely, she is somewhere between it and a goddess. You all know Minerva merged Annabeth's body with the Athena Parthenos during the battle of Olympus correct. After that Minerva became Anna Minerva and her appearance changed to be similar to her Athena's daughter." Hades started to explain.

"That much is common knowledge, so what you felt generous and let her go back, because that would be out of character for you." Hephaestus questioned.

"No of course not, I do not make any differentiation on whom arrives in the fields and nor does Thanatos. No Annabeth was judged and was sent to Elysium as expected. The issue was she started to disappear occasionally from Blessed before reappearing. This coincided with Athena repairing the Parthenos from its battle damage."

"Get to the point Uncle." Pride demanded and I noticed a box cutter had appeared in his normal hand at some point.

"Annabeth is the Athena Parthenos, or at least it is now her physical body. She can choose to manifest through it to appear on Olympus or elsewhere otherwise she is confined to the underworld." Hades summarised quickly noting Pride's lack of usual grin. The last thing we needed was a second Titan aspect going on a berserker rampage. And that knife he kept spinning between his fingers made me unsettled, I felt I recognised it from somewhere.

"You said she was a goddess, explain." Pride asked eyes narrowing.

"She like the other six gained heroes as a domain. However unlike the others hers was more accurately fallen and forgotten heroes. The prophecy called for seven demigods and the seven heroes that were there that got rewarded. Percy Jackson was never counted amongst that number by the fates, after all by the time of the final battle you were no longer a demigod were you?" Zeus explained what even I did not know; in truth it suddenly made a lot of sense about why we did not reward him at the time.

However it was at this point that Pride began to laugh.

"She told you not to tell me didn't she, because she knew I would do anything to try and get back to her right? Suddenly I understand why I was forbidden from trying to meet her. Now why is Maelstrom in Nico's chair?" Pride asked pointing to the aforementioned weapon which was still slowly cutting downwards at a shallow angle as gravity affected the blade.

"Apparently Nico is now dating Annabeth, but we keep getting cut off once we get to that bit. As you can see Percy took offence." Hermes said in exasperation. For a brief second Pride's eyes turned glowed golden and narrowed before returning to normal as he took a deep breath. Around me many of the other gods present did the same in relief.

"You're telling me Nico Di Angelo is dating Annabeth?" Pride questioned actually looking stunned by the revelation before chuckling to himself.

"You're taking this remarkably well, did someone swap you two at some point." My father asked as surprised as everyone else it seemed.

"Oh don't mistake, I am still extremely pissed off at being lied to. It is just the fact that Nico of all people would try to have a relationship is hilarious, even Leo was higher up on my list than Nico. If anything I would have sworn he was asexual or even gay. Not once when he been with me has he ever expressed any interest in girls." Pride said almost in hysterical laughter at this point.

"Would you tell someone that you were interested in there 'late' girlfriend, give the boy some credit. He waited until you yourself were in an official relationship before asking her." Hades said with a sigh.

"Speaking of which you are being real quiet Arty, which means you obviously already knew as well. Well am I right?" He asked accusingly as I had to grit my teeth. Every fibre of my being wanted to strangle Pride but the truth was obvious from the beginning. However if I was going to admit the fact it was not to him directly.

Standing up from my seat slowly I stepped across and turned so I was directly in front of Percy.

"Percy I am sorry, I learned about it by accident when you were kidnapped by Chronos. I am sorry I never told you. But it was never out of malice, no one knew how to tell you. Annabeth made me swear not to tell you. The only thing I could tell you was that I love you. Having to hurt you like this breaks my heart, but if I had not you would have done something you would truly have regretted." I told him pleadingly falling to my knees as I grabbed his left hand and looked him in the face.

For a few seconds those cold hate-filled eyes made me shiver in fear as if they were looking straight through me. However after a while a single golden tear fell down the Titan Lord's face and I instinctively let out a breath of relief. When I did so though Percy's eyes shifted to pure gold again though and I suddenly became aware that everyone else around me was now unnaturally still.

"Arte-mis…fro…now..on. No more lies, no more hiding the truth. We only ever end up hurting ourselves… more." Percy said as his expression slowly softened, the cold look of hatred being replaced with that I had fallen for all those months ago.

"A lot more one sided against us by the way." A voice grumbled and I guess it stood to reason that he would be immune to the localised time freeze.

"Perseus… Shut up for two minutes please will you." Percy said with irritation turning his head as far as the binding chain would allow him too.

"Seawee-, Percy before I met you I was an overbearing, ungrateful, uncaring almost robotic bitch of a goddess. Even my own aspect disliked me due to my own sense of superiority. And yet you overlooked all of my flaws no matter how heinous. Whether that was due to some misguided sense of trying to fill that hole in your heart, a coping mechanism for all the horrible things I put you through or even crazier the biological fact you found Diana and by extension me cute. I can gladly say that I am happier that you did. For three thousand years I have lived on autopilot, never having cared about anything in the long run. However looking back on the last few months with you I realised that I never really lived my life. I experience more with you in a week than I would in a century on my own. I might complain and moan about it a lot but the truth is I would not change back to my old lifestyle for anything. I love you and the thought of losing you, now terrifies me. When you disappeared I didn't know what to do, and yet I found myself being comforted by Annabeth of all people…" I said beginning to blabber as tears fell down my cheeks in return he grasped my hands in his free hand and held tightly.

"I wish I could answer with half as much finesse as I would like and that you would deserve but let me tell you this. Artemis…Diana I love you both more than I can believe and as much as it pains me to admit, I am glad that Annabeth is alive but not as much that she too has found someone that loves her as well. The shock just caused me to overreact… a little… but thank you for stopping me from doing something that I could not have ever apologised for." Now for the first time since I had ever known him Percy actually began to shed multiple golden tears. Even at the death of Annabeth or all of the injuries and emotional damage he had received over the years I could never actually recall seeing him doing so freely.

"Oh dear gods this is becoming pathetic can you both just not kiss and make up or something. Don't make me suffer through having to watch this teary bullshit. It is bad enough to emasculate me as well, thank gods no one else can see."

'Perseus one day I will find a way to freeze you. And when I do you better hope I feel like being gentle. Because otherwise you will truly feel so emasculated you won't ever be able to look me in the eyes again. Do I make myself clear?' I mentally told him before slowly turning towards him and found him standing wide-eyed and slack-jawed.

'Do I even want to know what you just told him?' Diana asked laughing as I turned back from the squirming aspect.

'Who knows he may even enjoy it, you did the other night.' And like that I had silenced two annoyances in as many statements. If I could see my aspects face she would probably turning a shade of crimson at the implications.

"Artemis can you do me a favour?" Percy asked almost embarrassed.

"Sure what is it?" I asked smiling only to see him nervously move his right arm a little reminding me that the limb was basically nailed to his throne and that he was still bound in place. Releasing my hold on his left hand I had to laugh as he used the free hand to itch his nose before wiping the golden tears on his sleeve.

Doing the same myself I then climbed onto the throne with him, my legs straddling his as I closed in on his face. Our lips scant inches apart as my left hand grasped the hilt of the blade wedged through his right arm.

Simultaneously ripping the blade free as crashing my lips against his, the whimper of pain was swiftly lost as we both distracted ourselves from what had happened recently. At long last there were no more final obstacles for us. Despite our different circumstances, our ages, our pantheons, my Father, our aspects, the hunters and even Annabeth Chase we had sworn ourselves to each other.

The only thing that could stand in the way of us from now on would be ourselves at long last, and for that I was truly grateful.

"So can we get him untied now or what because at this rate I am going to get stuck in there too, which means the other three idiots get dragged along for the ride and nobody wants that." Despite the game of tonsil tennis I was currently dominating I found myself agreeing with the other idiot as I pulled back slightly. As I moved my hips I noticed 'little Percy' was also becoming quite happy about the situation much to Percy's embarrassment.

Standing back I grasped the hilt of the embedded sword and pulled the remaining four feet of the sword free of its resting place.

It was actually quite easy to admit holding the sword always made me feel nervous in a way no other did, perhaps as a result of not being its true wielder. But it was so easy to remember what it was capable of, the ability to sever anything including an Immortals existence with nothing more than a simple swing.

Sure I had not had to do what Percy had done now to a number of deities both voluntarily and in combat but in all honesty as much as I hated some people I did not know whether I could actually do so. Mortals would go to the underworld and be judged upon how they had lived their lives and Monsters would generally return time and time again. But as far as anyone was aware we immortals simply ceased to exist completely upon fading, the only thing that remained being our legacy for good or ill.

That same capacity for cutting fate severed the chains holding him as easily as one would run a hot knife through butter. The severed bronze links falling around the golden throne heavily as the Titan Lord was finally released.

Holding his wounded arm to his chest he stood up before wrapping the other around my waist pulling me in close. In another situation I might have found myself annoyed that both of us were getting covered in ichor at an alarming rate. But as it was I simply focused on the gently touch of his lips against mine. This time neither of us being forceful but simply appreciating the others caresses.

It was at this time that Percy finally released his hold on the other gods as I watched his eyes return back to normal as they all began to make noises.

"Did we just get frozen and miss something." Hermes asked in my peripheral vision jokingly noticing the now released Titan Lord attached to my face.

"No you just all had a simultaneous blackout and woke up still standing in exactly the same place. Must be a gas leak or something like that." Perseus scoffed before sitting in the throne vacated by Mars earlier. His hand now back to normal with Percy's release.

"Percy in future please try and refrain from doing that." My father at last said cautiously. It was actually quite amusing to see that my father might have finally come to the conclusion that Percy was more powerful than he was; after all he had no more capability to resist the time freeze than anyone else.

If this was in a different situation, he could have ended most of the Pantheon here and now. There was a reason it taken Poseidon, Hades and my father to defeat Kronos, because only Poseidon was resistant to the time stop and could actually confront him while the other two flanked and deceived him.

"Sorry I was a little… emotional back then." Percy said backing away from me before standing in front of my father whose eyes widened briefly before narrowing.

"I guess it could not be helped… We do hold some of the blame for concealing the truth from you." My father admitted before actually holding his hand out to Percy.

"Careful you might almost give me a good opinion of you as a father-in-law." Percy teased as he took the older gods hand. What followed was an almost comical show of testosterone as they both competed to try and crush the others hand whilst still smiling overtly.

I would of course find out that mentally my father was warning my fiancé that if he so much as lay a finger on my head he would find a way to kill the Titan Lord. But still it was baby steps towards some level of civility between the two.

"Now this is all good and well but aren't we forgetting someone who started this debacle and announced that Annabeth was still alive in the… first place." Apollo was saying only to be interrupted as an armoured goddess returned to the platform.

Almost immediately the blonde Roman goddess was replaced by her brunette Greek counterpart as Athena forcefully took control while Anna Minerva was momentarily stunned by the announcement. Yet even so grey eyes never stopped looking at Percy who was naturally looking back as were the rest of us.

"Percy… It was better this way… I am sorry." The normally confident goddess stammered before jerking her head away almost in shame.

"Who told you?" She said almost demandingly.

"Aphrodite's Spawn." Hephaestus said instantly with zero regard for consequences. As the goddess summoned Aegis and a Sarissa into her hands and flashed away without further words.

"What! She might be my 'wife's' child but she means nothing to me and not as if anyone here actually likes the girl." The Blacksmith scoffed before flashing away to the battlefield below.

"Be that as it may, it would reflect poorly on the heroes if Athena actually does kill the girl. We have procedures in place for this sort of thing…." Zeus began only to be cut off by Pride laughing hysterically behind him.

"Procedures! You tried to vaporise me the moment you found out I had slept with Arty." Pride laughed.

"Perseus the grownups are talking go and play with Chrysaor again, whilst we deal with this." I told him firmly as I half-heartedly pointed Maelstrom at him before making a shooing gesture with it.

'If you play nice you get rewarded, if you don't I get the bricks, simple.' I added warningly as I watched him grumble before leaving in short order.

(Percy)

I had to give it to Artemis she was getting better at handling Perseus, sure she still waved a super dangerous weapon of annihilation at him but she resisted the urge to actually use it on him. For his part too he merely took the suggestion and did so as requested. Of course the threat of castration via blunt force trauma was also levelled at him beyond my immediate knowledge but she was being subtle now at least.

Come to think of it, maybe she wasn't getting better. She just tolerated him more knowing he was more bluster when it came to him giving it back as she knew he would not actually do anything to her.

"Anyway, back to the useless goddess of lack of compassion. Anytime I have seen Athena that pissed was when Pallas died and I guess Annabeth. What do you reckon she brings back, dismembered torso and head or just a bag of dust?" Hermes joked morbidly causing all eyes to turn on him.

"What? Hephaestus was right no one actually cares about McLean here unless I am severely mistaken. I care more for her father than her because at least he can act like he cares about something more than himself." Hermes retorted and no one had the heart to actually disagree.

The truth was despite being a member of 'seven + one' on the Argo I had really little in common with the girl. I never knew her at camp, I really only knew her for a few days between leaving New Rome and getting to 'old' Rome and then one more night before we got to Olympus.

If I was to replace her with say her predecessor Silena then sure I would defend her a bit more but the fact was I really did not care for the girl. The fact she just deliberately threw Nico under the bus and used Annabeth against me and Artemis was just the final nail in the coffin.

"You know what fine, I will go and get her and I will even promise not to harm a hair on her head. But on one condition: For the next month if there are any issues I do not want to hear about them. None of you are to contact us unless we contact you first. I don't care if the world is ending, we ARE having a vacation from the continued bullshit that keeps following us. I brought the Hunt here to have a break and allow some level of co-operation between them and their peers. Instead we have suffered two weeks of constant emotional and physical abuse and you what, I have had enough. Last I checked I was the pregnant one who was supposed to take it easy but every day brings some new crap my way. Well not anymore, I am drawing a line and there is nothing you can do about it." Artemis exploded into a tirade and I got the feeling that this had been brewing under the surface for a few days now. The truth was I agreed for the most part with her. Sure some of this stuff was self-inflicted by Perseus but for the most part most of our stress could be traced back to Olympus or New Rome.

"Artemis. I realised you have been under some stress…" Zeus began only to be silenced when Maelstrom was pointed his way.

"Stressed… me? What could I possibly be stressed about? I am perfectly calm, why wouldn't I be, not as if I am covered in the Ichor of my future husband and father of my child out of choice, because some little whore thinks it is fun to try and cause a blood bath amongst her family who for some reason saw fit to make her an immortal goddess out of the goodness of their heart just to throw it back in their faces because she was no longer the centre of attention. So if anyone has a problem with me wanting a gods damned vacation for a few weeks I…Don't…Care." Artemis proclaimed with a look of sudden cathartic relief before glowing silver and separating into two before leaving Diana behind without another word.

"So that just happened, anyone have anything they want to say in response?" Diana added.

"Hasn't Arty still got the Percy's fuck everything up sword." Apollo joked nervously as it was rather obvious that neither me nor Diana was holding the blade at this point.

"Well bright side is she swore not to harm a hair on her head, bets are off with the rest of her though." Hermes joked.

"No the bright side is that even if she does kill her I don't have to put up with her in my domain, though the furies have some new ideas they want to try if she doesn't." Hades piped in with what would be a sinister laugh or to anyone that had heard him before his normal laugh.

"Still she could be fine, not like she has the two arguably most powerful Olympian Goddesses hunting her down. She might even find some of that Compassion she was missing from them." Hades added grinning before I was suddenly distracted by Diana latching onto my face before we both lost balance and went tumbling to the floor. The Roman goddess straddling me as her hands gripped the back of my head as her tongue probed mine.

"Oh dear us, Sis now is not the time. Where has that sweet little virgin goddess I called a sister gone?"

"Let's be honest Apollo, she was never sweet. Now come on we need to go congratulate Hylla and the Amazons." Hermes retorted before I sensed them both flash away. It was obvious to anyone how he planned to congratulate the Amazon queen.

"Are you two finished yet?" Zeus remarked with a sigh, clearly all resistance was gone at this point. He was merely rolling with the blows at this point.

'Don't worry still a long way to go before the New Year yet.' Diana told me before slowly getting to her feet and helping me up.

"You should get that arm healed." Hades told me only for me to shake my head.

"It is a reminder of what I almost did, to someone who is practically a brother to me. In time it will heal but what I almost did would never have been alright." I told him with a smile before sitting down in my Throne. No one said a word as the Roman goddess sat across my lap her auburn head resting against my shoulder.

"Come brother it would be rude for us to avoid our duties in the celebration below." Hades said with a smile as he grabbed the king of gods shoulder and they both disappeared into shadows at last leaving us alone.

"So what is happening at New Year's then?" I asked brushing a few auburn strands of her out of her face.

"Well that would be ruining the surprise, wouldn't it?" She teased as I found myself staring into those deep silver eyes.

My life was full of should have, would have, could have situations. But at this point in time despite them all I was content with how things were.

Unlike a certain goddess who was around my age.

(Artemis)

To give the girl credit the moment I first discovered her she had run away from me and flashed elsewhere with no delay.

Unfortunately I would be a pretty awful goddess of the Hunt if something as trivial as that was in any way an impeachment to me. It was difficult to explain how it worked but it was as if I had an instinct that told me what direction my quarry lay. Percy's ability was similar and told him if anything was within a certain distance of him and its nature.

My own was less precise and could only detect a single target, but the range was theoretically infinite. It was a matter of simply finding out how far my target was on a given bearing by trial and error.

So whilst time consuming it was generally faultless in nature unless my target was captured or obscured by something as was the case when Chronos captured Percy.

After the third such time I was losing patience, I did not want to waste what was left of the day on this useless goddess.

Which was why I was now standing one floor below where the little whore was standing taking practice swings at the ceiling. After steadying my breathing for a few seconds I swung the blade fully actually overstepping as the resistance I expected failed to materialise as concrete and steel parted before the blade like water as did the next two cuts. Creating a triangle in the ceiling which fell to my level bringing with it my shrieking quarry.

Before she could react I had discarded the blade and grasped her throat and right hand still holding Katoptris. Strength was not really my thing but the slender wrist of the other goddess was still of little concern to me as I bent the limb far enough to cause the girl to scream out in pain before dropping the blade.

With that out of the way I roughly turned the girl around the pinned her to the wall. Her arm now pinned behind her shoulder blade.

"Surprise! Well, well, well then… Here we are… How else did you expect this to turn out I wonder? There was really no situation in which you would have come out any better. So please do explain to me the vast amount of forethought you put into this." I told her shoving her a little harder into the wall.

"Fuc.-umph." She began before getting her face to rapidly meet concrete.

"Really is that what you were going for you insignificant little goddess. Petty swearing? I would like to remind you that as it stands no one outside of the camps would even know who you are. If you were to die no one would remember you in more than 5 years tops except as a reminder of idiots who do dumb things, like those Darwin awards. So why don't you try a little harder to provide me with an answer that doesn't reduce you to a footnote in the annals of history. Piper Mclean Hero of Olympus, goddess of insignificance who then turned extremely stupid and was killed for it, the end. Doesn't that sound charming, now for the time being I have sworn not to do anything serious to you but if you continue to try my patience all bets will be off." I warned.

'I didn't. Now step to the right kindly sister.' A familiar voice warned and I hurriedly did so narrowly avoiding the javelin that embedded itself through the girls shoulder causing her scream to ring out as armoured footsteps slowly rung down the hallway as the other goddess slowly approached glowing golden. Her divine form in all its splendour wasted on a simple abandoned hallway of a derelict building in who knows where.

"What gave you the right to tell him! My daughter trusted you as a friend and this is how you repay her? She gave her life to save you and all the others and yet you use her continued existence as a weapon against the man she loved and the only one who still can. So tell me daughter of Aphrodite, What gives you the right?" Athena demanded grasping and twisting the javelin free, placing a foot on chest of the girl who was futilely grasping the gaping wound in her shoulder. It was non-fatal for an immortal but probably hurt a hell of a lot.

"Throughout my existence many women have both intentionally and by accident earned my ire and stories of them still exist to this day. But none of them were stupid enough to do what you did. I am the heir of Olympus if I kill you nothing would be done against me except a few pats on the back wishing me thanks. So I suggest you start talking!" Athena spat slowly shifting from tranquil fury to just outright anger as she shouted her demand.

If it could be increasingly argued by Percy that I had inherited my father's libido then Athena had most certainly inherited his wrath.

"All of you looked down on me. I was just Piper, Jason's girlfriend. The Romans mocked me as the girl who got forced into a relationship with him. My own siblings laughed when you let Reyna attack me, every time you and Percy came into my life I found myself tossed aside again and again, because you were all special. Oh look its Thalia, she is oh so great as the daughter of Zeus and Lieutenant of the Hunt, never mind that she is a lesbian who is in love Reyna. The so strong and confident Praetor who I spent a year trying to get rid of as I was constantly reminded that she would have been better off with Jason than me!" Piper sobbed back at us as I found myself rolling my eyes in disbelief.

"So what you are saying is just because you are suffering from esteem issues, you tried and get half your friends and family to kill each other? And then what you would have felt all happy and bubbly inside at a job well done. Even before your little stunt we all knew it was you behind Frank and the charm-spoken legionnaires because you were so obvious. When trying to be subtle and deceive someone don't do something that only you could have obviously done. If anything, I should thank you for guaranteeing their win." I told her laughing as this was obviously news to her as she gritted her teeth.

"So in summary you betrayed your friends, and meddled in a game that practically guaranteed the Hunter's victory which has probably lowered the Romans opinion of you even further. And after all of that here you are blubbering before our feet about your poor feelings. So I hope it was worth it in the end for you because I have had enough of you wasting my time." I told her before turning away and retrieving the two discarded weapons from the floor.

Resting the flat of Maelstroms blade on my shoulder I looked to the golden goddess who was still glaring at the girl.

"What do you want to do?" I asked my elder sister who was frowning as if in deep thought, she was quite right in what she said. She was the official heir of Olympus in the unlikely event something should happen to father.

Which allowed the older goddess a certain degree of ability to act autonomously if she should judge someone on his behalf.

"Normally I would just kill her and be done with it. However as of the conclusion of the game I find myself in an interesting situation. As of now I am now directly responsible for all Greek demigod matters including their three gods of Heroes. Which just so happens to happens to include a certain child of Aphrodite. As such it would be extremely negligent of me to kill one after less than a few hours, especially when I can make her do anything I don't want to do personally." Athena said finally releasing her divine form and discarding her spear and shield. Reaching down and grabbing the girl by the throat and lifting her up until her own cold grey eyes were reflected in the girl's kaleidoscopic ones.

"Unlike Dionysius and Chiron I have both the power and authority to make you fall in line. You have made it quite abundantly clear that you don't care about the wellbeing of yourself so threatening you further would be pointless. So let me make this clear to you Piper Mclean… not for nothing was Enceladus my counter giant. If you do anything that is against the interests of Olympus or our allies again I will tear your father to pieces in front of you. Again and again I will have him rendered limb from limb whilst explaining that it is your entire fault. Only after I have completely broken him will I then deal with you." Athena threatened as the choking girl began to cry.

'It is quite easy to forget how scary you can be, when you are not acting like a geek.' I commented mentally.

'I am the goddess of War for a reason and not every type of warfare involves banging sticks together, it can be a lot easy to break a soldier's morale than a formation.'

"Let this be your final warning, you will not receive another." Athena threatened before tossing the girl aside roughly as she rolled over several times from the super-human strength exhibited by the goddess.

"For the record the only reason I didn't kill your father first then you, is because Annabeth wouldn't have approved of it. So if you should ever meet her, you better thank her." Athena added coldly before disappearing into light.

"Lastly you tell anyone about Reyna and Thalia, well I think my sister made it quite clear what will happen. Despite what you and your mother may think, I do not care what either of you do, just stay away from me, my family and my Hunters and I swear I will do nothing to either of you. I don't want to have to consider the rare occasions my hunters go to the camps having to worry about you. Have you ever considered why the campers like Percy, he actually cares about them back. Time and time again he put himself in danger for them, he gave up his shot at godhood for them to be recognised. If you actually tried to understand them they might actually start to respect you back. I can't believe I have to lecture a love goddess on this but sex is not going to be the answer to your relationship issues. You need to trust one another and after this stunt even Jason as block-headed as he is will be wondering about you. Hera forced your relationship to begin, it is up to the two of you how it will end. So I suggest you take a few days before you return to camp and reconsider your life or it will end a lot sooner than you would believe." I told the sobbing girl who had tucked her knees up under her chin before tossing Katoptris to the ground next to her. Tragedy seemed to follow that blades owners like a curse.

Turning away I began to walk down the dingy corridor as I planned my next steps out for tonight.

My mother as always would be easy to enlist into helping supervise the moon for a night or two.

The other person though would not be as pleasant to deal with I knew as I flashed away to Orthrys.

(Percy)

"Well I think it is safe to say that she is keeping her head down since then as no one has seen her since the game." Phoebe remarked sarcastically as I finished explaining how Athena and Artemis dealt with the goddess. Throughout my narration they had asked a few questions but for the most I like to think I explained well enough that they didn't need to.

Even now I was not convinced that Thalia was not likely to tear her brother's girlfriend a new one, with a certain Huntress likely to help. Obviously I didn't mention Piper bringing up that revelation to the goddesses. Not that it seemed to bother Athena in the slightest to find out.

Of course this was still ignoring the obvious elephant in the room next door. Not that I was calling my fiancée's/fiancée an elephant, she was much more slender and smooth with curves-. I interrupted myself by shaking my head because my thoughts were getting off track, the last few days were starting to catch up with me.

"With respect Percy how does end up leading into Lady Artemis becoming like she is now with this Harmony? In all the years I have known her she has never mentioned that name or anything about it. On top of that she never had wings like yours or Lelantos's." Zoe asked seriously.

"To the question of how she became Harmony do you want the long or the short answer?" I asked taking a deep breathe there was no way to explain further at this point without telling them.

"Short!" They all called out in synchronicity.

"We had sex again." I muttered simply as the bunch of virginal adolescent girls reacted exactly how you would expect them too. With panicked calls of ewww and frantic mutterings between them, in fairness the only ones who didn't react were the couple sitting next to each other.

"Well seeing as you asked for it. Obviously Artemis and Diana are already pregnant so she decided there wasn't much risk of anything further happening. Apparently we were wrong on that part as well."

"Change of plans can we have the long version… I mean how you got to that stage not about the actual sex with my sister. We are missing a lot of context here." Thalia remarked before quickly backpedalling when she realised what she originally implied.

"I was obviously not going to tell you the details of our relationship under any circumstances Thalia." I told her rolling my eyes, hades if I did Artemis would probably kill all of us out of embarrassment never mind the figure that was currently resting next door.

"That's great because I think most of us really don't want to hear it." Tania muttered and more than a few heads nodded in agreement.

(**Well here we are at last and as requested who knows how many times, the below scene is not strictly required reading but it is your choice. Lemon warning**)

"That a shame, it might almost remove that stick up your ass Tania, worked wonders for me." A sultry voice chimed in to my left. As I looked across I noticed all the Hunters were frozen in place as if I had stopped time again, except in this case I was not responsible.

Even without the wings this time, it was not hard to miss the goddess leaning against a column. She was wearing nothing but an almost invisible negligee that hid nothing from me. But then again that was probably the point; Harmony knew she was the most beautiful woman in the world and therefore had nothing to hide. It took a lot of my willpower not to ogle and stare at the radiant goddess's body.

"Harmony I thought you were going to let me explain what had happened to them." I admonished weakly, my willpower diminishing with every step the goddess took towards me. The way her hips rolled as she was walked along with each and every shapely curve was like poetry in motion.

"I did and I have but you were taking so lonnng, so I got bored and thought I would come in and see which part you had got to. So how was it going to go, from there? Obviously Mother agreed to help." She said sweetly standing directly in front of me.

Up close and personal that negligee really did nothing more than add a slight silver tinge to the goddess's luscious form as I found myself eye level with her beautiful breasts. It was a very good thing the Hunters were frozen otherwise their goddess was really bearing it all in front of them.

"Oh don't worry about them; it is not as if they never saw me bathe before in the past. Though I suppose I was a bit smaller then." The goddess teased placing her hands under her chest before lifting her breasts experimentally as I bit my tongue.

Of the many questions I had regarding Harmonies true nature and capabilities. There was no denying my attraction to the goddess and she knew it, and how to exploit it. I was but putty in her hands to do with as she wished.

Walking forward she climbed onto my chair so she was mounted on my lap straddling me. Her smooth mound separated from my rapidly hardening crotch by nothing more than a millimetres of fabric an obstacle that might as well be non-existent to the goddess if she so willed it.

My face however now found itself emplaced between her breasts as she wrapped her arms around my head whilst giggling at my breath on her skin as the thin film of fabric was willed out of existence along with almost all of my restraint as my hands ran up her taut legs before grasping each of her butt cheeks roughly causing the goddess to gasp in ecstasy as she smothered me further in her bosom.

My sense of sight was almost blocked out whilst my senses of touch, smell, taste and hearing were all enraptured by the goddess being as I broke free of her embrace my tongue and lips tracing a journey from her left breast up and across her collar bone, her neck and jaw before finally reaching their destination of her smiling mouth before she ravenously began to fight back with equal fervour. Her heterochromatic eyes lock with mine as she took back her position of dominance aggressively invading my mouth with hers, all my weaknesses now long known and memorised by the goddess's constituent aspects.

Even as she forced me back up top her hips were aggressively grinding against my groin, the rough fabric of my jeans stimulating her into further frenzied gyrations that were beginning to cause me discomfort due to my confinement.

Slipping my hands free off her backside I slid them in across her body as I embraced her left breast, pinching and rubbing her hard nipple repeatly caused the goddess to gasp time and time again. Meanwhile my left hand travelled south and cupped her womanhood causing her eyes to widen as my rubbed the moist orifice with my fingers whilst my thumb gently rubbed her nub.

At long last I was pushing the advantage as she frantically rubbed herself against my hand even as I curled my index and middle fingers inside her massaging the heavenly flesh inside of her.

After two more minutes of this finally the goddesses laboured breathing reach crescendo as her body went rigid before she collapsed against me.

"I… Win." I whispered into her ear brushing away a few vibrant auburn strands of hair.

"You weren't even competing this time my love, if I was being serious you would be stripped and naked on the floor, and I would have made them watch." She responded seemingly absolutely fine despite her post orgasmic state. This was of course my main problem over the last few days. She was utterly insatiable, no matter how many times we had done it she always wanted more.

"You're kidding right, you wouldn't actually make them watch?" I asked curiously looking past the goddess at the frozen figures beyond briefly.

"Who knows they are technically not my Hunters after all." She said playfully before sitting back and rising to her feet. Her left hand briefly brushing across my covered crotch as she grinned, reminding me that I really hadn't won anything but discomfort, damp clothes and some good memories.

"You're surely joking?"

"Who knows, but you have brought yourself some time with that performance. Now hurry and finish or next time it will be you getting frozen and I will consider teaching them male anatomy." The goddess threatened lightly as she turned away and took a few steps before disappearing into light. My sight focused on her heavenly backside until she was gone.

Of course with Harmony now gone she released her control over the Hunters who were none the wiser to what just happened right in front of them. Forcing me to immediately freeze them again whilst I tried to make myself look presentable. Clothes reverted to previous, hair somewhat patted down where she had gripped my head against her. The only thing I couldn't immediately fix was the slight musky scent in the air and the raging erection I was trying to subdue.

Rapidly my thoughts shifted between all of the horrifying things I had scene and fought in the last few years, Empousai, Cyclops, the Furies, Stheno, Euryale, Medusa… my future wife's fine backside… dammit.

Crossing my legs awkwardly I allowed time to resume once again and carried on from where I was so amazingly interrupted.

AN. Well here we are again.

So the truth about Annabeth is out in the open at last and as expected Percy freaked the fuck out. I will go more into detail on Annabeth/Nico in a chapter or two when the present situation is all dealt with.

You all know my opinion on this but it bears repeating FUCK PIPER and you don't know how much more I wanted to actually Athena to tear her to pieces. But with the demigod system she is basically stuck being Athena's bitch for the foreseeable future. If you are wondering how Athena found her, she actually waited and tracked Artemis instead knowing that she would go looking for her. Ironically it was Enceladus who showed how to actually blackmail Piper effectively.

As for Harmony well we are getting there, as you can see she has very little cares about anything that is not herself. Because she knows she is basically untouchable. If you consider what the opposite of her name is and who that is. She has every right to be confident. Note that wasn't Percy freezing time, that was Harmony herself, likewise with the wings.

For those that have read SHOI and so seen the future and likewise met Arianna, well there is a reason that even that horribly broken little girl actually only listens to Harmony.

Which leads on to the 'lemon scene' never having written anything like this it was somewhat awkward to write without it leading to full on sex right there and then. Bearing in mind this is after 5 days of these two basically being at it like rabbits so any awkwardness has long since passed. Next chapter may have the more detailed 'first' time depending on how this is received. It is somewhat essential to the whole how we got here situation.

Besides I think it is quite obvious that Percy is an ass man, not that Arty is lacking in the chest area of course.

But hope you all enjoyed the chapter regardless, let me know what you think about anything and see you all soon. If the stupid virus hasn't made everyone go insane and kill each other. Note to self, story has just entered 2012, make 2020 better when we get there.

Even if it does kill everyone, Immortals and the hunters can't get diseases so I will be forced to survive to keep writing their exploits. So I am still in it for the long haul I guess, wonder if I can finish by the time I am 30? Haha I am gonna be here until retirement at this rate. My updates may be slow but I promise I will finish this… at some point.
