A/N: Well, as promised, I'm re-writing the Story.
Same plot, but more organized.
I'd be uploading both this fic and the new one I'm working on.

Tony woke up from the familiar British accent that echoed around his room.
He slowly sat down on his bed and yawned. It was too early for him to wake up now.

'You're missing your meeting sir.'

"What meeting?" Tony asked confused, still half asleep.
Meetings…he hated meeting and he really didn't have power for one now.

'You promised to go to a meeting of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Jarvis said, 'Nick said he wants the group to meet a new member.'

New team member…that old guy he didn't remember his name now.
Tony sighed. Why did he even promise something like this? It wasn't like him.
He yawned again and lied back down. "Five more minutes…"

.

"Late as always Stark." Nick Noted when Tony walked into the room.

Tony ignored his look and sat in his seat. "I'm never late, I'm busy."

As Steve heard the name Stark, he quickly lifted his head to look at the person.
He looked young but he could see that he was Howard's son. The same face, haircut. Even the facial hair.
It was weird for him, to see the son of Howard Stark since back then, Howard wasn't the type to settle down.

"Like I said," Nick continued, "we have a new team member."

Tony looked at Steve.
That's right, they found captain America. Something his father couldn't do.
He looked old fashioned, the way he wore his clothes and even the hair style.
He seemed so…
Out of place. Or like people called him, 'a man out of time'.

"Captain Steven Rogers, also known as Captain America and the first avenger." Tony spoke before Nick could say something. He realized he's been staring at Steve instead of just looking so he had to fill the silence with something.

Everyone looked at him but Tony ignored their looks and continued.

"Created during WWII, a serum gave made his body stronger. He was chosen only because he was weak, and brave enough. Froze from a plane crush after defeated the red skull and nobody found him for 70 years."

"You've done your homework." Clint said surprised.

"I didn't." Tony gave Clint a look, "it's the only thing I heard my whole life. The one who was in charge for the experiment, his shield and the search after him until the 70's was Howard Stark."

Tony noticed the look Steve gave him. He knew this look. It's the same look everyone who thought he's like this father gave him.
He stood up. "Why you had to call me for this? I know all of his Story."

"You're no different than the rest of this room." Nick said a bit annoyed, "I didn't call you to tell a story, I called you because he's you are going to make him get used to his century. Meeting is over."

Tony was surprised. "What do you mean? Why can't somebody else do this?!" He asked Nick annoyed, "it was proved that everyone in this room is better than me!"

"It's going to be you because who knows technology better than Tony stark. And because it's you father pervious work, exactly like your company, isn't it so?" Nick asked and walked out of the room.

'Howard's son...' Steve thought, then he noticed that Tony is looking at him. Not looking but staring. He was angry. Steve was surprised.

"Fine, whatever..." Tony sighed.

"You don't have to if it's such a bother." Steve found his voice, "I can always stay at S.H.I.E.L.D's HQ."

"You heard the man Rogers, let's go." Tony said and walked to the door.

Steve felt like Tony hates him. But why? He couldn't do anything to him since they just met.
'It's the only thing I heard my whole life' Steve remembered Tony's words.
Howard was looking for him…maybe that's why Tony hated him? Because his father was busy looking for somebody who was probably dead?

"Tony isn't the best person in the world," Bruce's voice interrupted Steve's thoughts, "but he does have feelings. He's just against his father for some reason so don't bring this subject up." Bruce put a hand on Steve's shoulder.

"Dr. Banner, right?" Steve asked, he was still trying to remember who is who.

"Yes, nice to meet you Captain Rogers."
Steve nodded lightly and shook Bruce's hand.

"You better go before he'll lose it." Natasha said.
Steve sighed and followed Tony.

.

"Okay, it's a big house so I'm going to give you a quick tour." Tony said when they arrived.
Steve just nodded and listened to Tony as he talked.
They guy hated him. How can he stay in the same place with him?
He should talk with Nick, to convince him that staying with Tony is a bad idea.
this way Tony won't be mad and Steve won't have to see him every day.

"My lab is downstairs," Tony said, "you can't get in here unless you have permission."

"Don't worry, I won't bother you..." Steve promised.

They walked upstairs. "You room is down the hallway, and then you turn left." Tony started walking, Steve followed him.

"Why do you have so many windows...?" He asked confused. He never saw a house with so many big windows.

"There's a nice view." Tony shrugged, Steve looked outside. It was the view of the ocea. And he had to admit it wasn't bad. The water looked clear and warm.
"Yeah, it's really nice..." He thought and continued following Tony.

"Alright capsicle, your room." Tony said as he opened the door, "Coulson will be here tomorrow to bring you your old clothes, suit and shield."

Steve looked at him confused. "Capsicle...?"

"Yeah, well, you were inside an ice cube for 70 years. Popsicle it's a frozen juice. You're captain America so - capsicle." Tony explained.

"Please don't call me like this." Steve sighed and got into the room.

"Jarvis, are you awake?" Tony asked, following Steve into the room.

'Yes sir, how may I help you?'

Steve was surprised when he heard the voice out of nowhere. He looked around him and then at Tony, waiting for an explanation.

"Jarvis, my AI. He's kind of anywhere." Tony said, "Jarvis, this is Steven Rogers, he's going to stay here for a while so once in a few hours ask him if he need something. No access to my room or my lab unless I'm dying in there. If I'm dead, let it be."

'Of course sir.'

Steve looked at Tony unbelieving. He talked about his death like it was nothing serious. How can someone not care about his death.

Tony noticed the look Steve gave him. Pepper gave him this look a lot but with Steve it looked more…
well, he couldn't put it in words really.
"Jarvis, forget the last part."

'Sir, Mrs. Potts is waiting in the living room. You need to sign a few papers.'

"She's the CEO." Tony said annoyed, "she can do whatever she wants."

'She wants to discuss with you.'

Tony sighed annoyed. "Well, feel like home I guess." He said and walked to the living room.

Steve looked around him. The room was big, maybe too big.
He walked to the window and looked out of it. The last time he saw water was before he froze. He felt sorry for peggy, he left her alone...
He didn't get the chance to tell her how he feels for her and now he can't.
He missed 70 years of his life. How does he supposed to catch up?
Not to say he lived with a guy who hates him…
But he wanted to get along with Tony. And if leaving the guy alone would make Tony hate him less, he'd do it.

"Is there a gym around here?" Steve asked the room.

'Yes. Down the hall, 4th door on the right.'

"Thanks JARVIS."

.

'Wait!' Peggy kissed Steve, 'Go get him.' She smiled lightly.

Steve started punching the punching bag harder.

'I'll get Howard on the line, he'll know what to do.'
'There's not enough time. This thing's moving too fast and it's heading for New York. I gotta put her in the water.'

'Please, don't do this. We have time. We can work it out.'

Steve tried his best to concentrate, to get the voices out of his head.

'You know, I still don't know how to dance.' '

'I'll show you how. Just be there.'

You'll have the band play something slow. I'd hate to step on your...' '

Steve? Steve? Steve?' '

I'm sorry Peggy, I love you...' Steve thought.

"Ugh!" The punching bag fell, the sand spilled all over. "Damn it..." Steve said quietly, trying to catch his breath. He felt tears fall from his eyes.
Steve sat on the floor next to the wall and buried his face in his hands, starting to cry lightly.
Peggy…he disappointed Peggy. They didn't have much time together back then and now they don't have time at all.
She's the first person who ever believed in him. She's the first person to really like him. Not just his new look, but she liked who he was.
And he liked her a lot. He wanted to be with her, not he can't…

"What happe-"
"Wow.."

Steve heard voices. He lifted his head and saw Tony together with a woman, must be Mrs. Potts.

"What happened?" Tony asked surprised.

"I'm sorry Mr. Stark. I'll clean everything." Steve said quietly and wiped his tears. He slowly stood up and picked the bag up. He didn't want strangers to see him cry.
Especially because he didn't usually cry. He's a soldier, he can't show weakness.

"Is everything okay..?" Pepper asked in light worry.

"I'm fine," Steve smiled lightly at her, "no need to worry."

"I'm Pepper Potts by the way."

"Steven Rogers." Steve nodded lightly, "Nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too." Pepper smiled lightly and kissed Tony, "that's all for today, goodbye." Pepper smiled and got out of the room.

"Can you tell me where the broom is..?" Steve looked at Tony, filling the sudden silence.

"Leave it, I'll clean this later." Tony said and started getting out.

"I'm really sorry." Steve apologized again. He didn't want to ruin someone else's propriety.

"That's some muscles you have." Tony said, a bit surprised. He knew the serum gave Steve strength, but he didn't imagine he'd be that strong.

"Well, they're not really mine as you know..." Steve changed the punching bag, "I just had luck..."

"Luck? Freezing in an ice cube for 70 years is luck?" Tony lifted an eyebrow.

"I..." Steve said quietly, but he couldn't continue. Everything he thought about was Peggy and Howard. And he didn't want to talk about them, both of them. Not with Tony and not with anyone.
"I'm sorry again about the punching bag..." Steve apologized, "I'm going to my room..." He walked out of the room, not looking at Tony.

A/N: Not sure if it's better, but I think it's good enough.
