Today was a perfect morning for Sasuke. He was walking with his mate in the park hand to hand ( they left the house at 6 am in the morning). There were few people in it so he can enjoy the time he want alone with his mate without people bothering him or Naruto. Sasuke wish it would always be like this, no fangirls or fanboys or any other things that would ruin their day. He glance at the blond and notice the tiredness on his face.

" Are you tired Naruto? Do you want to sit down for a moment " he ask worried at his mate. They've been taking a walk for a what? an hour or two. It made sense that his Naru was tired.

" Yes please my legs are killing me " Naruto said crouching a bit in tiredness. Sasuke sighed and lead Naruto to the nearest bench to let the blond rest. He let his love sit down and sat beside him.

" You should have said something I don't like it when your hurt " Sasuke said worried about Naruto's health.

" Geez Sasuke protective much. It's okay I'm only tired from walking, it's not like I'm injured or something. " the smaller boy chuckled at the protectiveness of his raven mate. The raven wouldn't even want a scratch or two or him being tired up, if he did he would freak out. Naruto snuggle up in the Uchiha's chest and sigh contently when the raven wrapped his arms around the blond. They continue to stay in their position until a phone rang.

Sasuke took out a cellphone which made Naruto giggle. The raven look at him questionably confused of why he began to giggle.

" I didn't know vampires has a phone " the blond laugh at his joke. Sasuke smiled knowing he made his blond happy though the cellphone did all the work.

" Dobe even if I did live longer than you, I have to follow the modern world. If I didn't I would have look like a fool but then again you wouldn't have think of that because your a dobe " he smirk causing Naruto pout. ( Sasuke is 200 years old but he look's like 20 )

" Teme stop calling me that. Your slipping into your bastardy self again and I'm not a dobe " Sasuke was pleased with his mates reaction.

" of course you aren't " the raven vampire said kissing his beloved's forehead.

" Sasuke " Naruto said lovingly and return the kiss but on the lips wrapping his hands around his neck with the Uchiha's in his waist - still holding the phone-. They kissed passionately forgetting the event that just happen a while ago but it turn into a lustful make out session until the phone rang again -that had just stopped ringing a while ago- making them both jump in surprise.

Sasuke growled annoyed with the cellphone. Whoever was calling him is really going to pay. He look at Naruto before kissing him on the lips and parted away from him. He stood up leaving Naruto sitting at the bench.

" let me just get this and we'll go straight home " he said and the blond nod watching his raven walk away answering the phone.

Sasuke answer the phone, angrily pushing the button intensely.

" what! " the Uchiha exclaim at the phone hearing a 'tsk' on the other side.

" little brother are you PMSing or something? It hurt my ear when you shout like that " a person said on the other line. Sasuke growled at the person he called brother.

" your disturbing my precious time with someone and I'm not PMSing, just furious at you for calling me at my good time " he hiss at his brother.

" aww don't worry Otouto you'll have all the time you need but first, I have a favor to ask. Meet me at the company. Unlike you, I don't get to spend all the time whenever I want with my mate very often. If you don't come I'm sure a good thing will happen " he emphasis the thing words seriously before hanging up the phone leaving a furious raven, cursing at his brother for threatening him.

The Uchiha sigh at frustration. What did his brother want from him. He better go before the good thing his brother said will happen to him or his mate.

Speaking of mate, he went back to Naruto who was dozing off. He chuckled at the blond. To bad he's not good at the morning. Naruto force himself to get up this morning because he agreed the other day when Sasuke suggested to have a morning walk. The raven wasn't really forcing his beloved to have this walk but the blond said that he never ever break a promise and even if he don't like waking up in the morning, he will do what he promise even if it meant killing himself (Naruto was the one who woke Sasuke up even if he's tired) and Sasuke was really worried when he said the 'killing part'. He will not let the blond promise when it's something dangerous, ever.

" Naruto love? Wake up. You can't sleep here or you'll catch a cold " Sasuke said gently shaking his mate's shoulder. Naruto whined swiping the hand off that's shaking him.

" but I'm sleepy Suke " the blond wiggle his hips on the bench his sitting on, before stretching himself arms up, yawning. Sasuke watched him lovingly " cute " he murmur but Naruto heard what he said and glare cutely at him.

" I'm not cute " the blond pout showing off his pink kissable lips that made the raven lick his lips at the delicious display.

Sasuke leaned in and whisper on the other's ear " oh really love, I think your adorable with your pout like that. I would really want to taste that pink plump lips of your's that even just a slight chaste kiss would turn me on "

Naruto blush and lightly push the Uchiha away from him " your being a pervert teme. Stop it " the raven chuckle and kissed the blonds forehead before helping him up.

" come Naru, let's go home " Naruto nod smiling loving at the warmth when Sasuke pulled him closer with his arm around his waist. The blond snuggled closer as the two lovers walk home.

The two of them returned to the apartment with Sasuke supporting the drowsy blond who was about to fall asleep. When they got in, Sasuke lead Naruto up their bedroom and put the blond down on it gently. He look at his mate before giving him a kiss on the lips and on the forehead. He tucked the other in before caressing the soft cheek and was about to leave when a hand grab his, making him stop.

" where are you going Sasuke? " Naruto said as sleepiness can be heard in his voice.

" Naru, I'm gonna go away for a while and I don't know when I'm going back. " Sasuke said softly but Naruto sniff as tears gather in his big blue eyes.

" you're going to leave me? Why? " tears flow down the boys cheek as he said it. This made Sasuke guilty, leaving Naruto was really a hard decision even thought it's just for a few days and seeing him cry like this made him grab his aching heart.

" Naruto, love. Shhh it's okay. But I can't make an excuse on this one because it's a business matter and I promise I'll call you. Okay, so don't cry anymore " Sasuke wiped Naruto's tears as he shush him, calming the crying blond down. The Uchiha hugged him, cooing (talk about OCness) at him until small hiccups could be heard.

" Naruto I love you so please, I'll be just a few days and I promise to bring you a present " Sasuke said caressing the blond hair. Naruto look at him in the eyes. He's already calm and listening to his love as he speaks.

" the call you receive...was that the reason "

" yes. I'm sorry "

" what is this important matter you need to do " Naruto cuddle closer as he said it.

" apparently, my brother wants me to take control of our family business for a while because he too want to spend some time with his mate. " Sasuke said. Naruto smiled at him. If that was the reason then it's totally okay for him but he will miss Sasuke.

" okay Sasu, but please be back soon. Its going to be lonely without you here. I'll miss you " the blond said and kiss the Uchiha. " I'll miss you too " he said back but Sasuke felt his throat ache for blood and gulp looking at Naruto's neck feeling hungry. His fangs lengthen. Naruto saw this and giggle but bare his neck for his mate. Sasuke look at him and the blond nod. Sasuke lean down when he received permission from his mate. The rave lick the neck before bitting down.

The blond threw his head back from pleasure and moan at the pleasure he's receiving from his mate. It fell so good when Sasuke bite and drink his blood. When Sasuke finished he draw back and lick the wound to close it. Naruto yawn feeling sleepiness rub him. " Sasuke I'm tired " the raven chuckled " then sleep " the blond nod. Naruto yawn again and went back to lay on the bed.

" take care love. Bye " Sasuke grab the blanket and covered Naruto with it.

" bye. Love you " Naruto mumble as he fell asleep.

" love you too my little fox " with that he left but not before kissing his beloved. He also left a letter just incase Naruto can't remember.

Sasuke is flying up the sky to reach his destination. He look around and spot his older brother standing outside the Uchiha building. He fly down in an alley so that no one will see him. He straighten his looks before walking high and mighty towards his brother.

" brother " he said and bowed gracefully at the older Uchiha. The older Uchiha look at him and nod.

" Otouto thanks for coming. Your going to be in charge for a while until I come back. I expect you to handle things here for a week or two. " Itachi is making his way to his car and enter it but not before saying to his little brother " thank you for giving me an opportunity to be with the one I love " the younger Uchiha nod receiving one back from the other before Itachi drove off.

Sasuke sigh entering the building. People greeted him as girls ogled him. He ignore it and went to his old office. He use to work here as the vice president of the Uchiha corp. because they want him to learn how to run a company. He was still 18 - 150 - that time. he left when his parents decided that he will be their heir to the vampire throne and Itachi will be the one to inherit the family business on the mortal world. When he arrive on the room. He immediately sit on the chair. He also notice a pile of papers on top of his desk.

Sasuke sigh and lean against his hands. He already miss his blond mate. Why did he agree to do this again ' oh right. Itachi wanted to be with his mate so I sacrifice my time away from my own mate to give him a chance to spend some quality time together with the one he love ' the raven knows that Itachi deserve it because he always work hard to make this company more successful and Sasuke was grateful that Itachi was the one to inherited it.

A knocking was heard on the door getting his attention. A girl with brown hair that was tied into a side bun entered " uhh...Sasuke-sama...I-I am Len, Itachi-sama's assistant and I'll also be the one to assist you in your temporary work. Itachi-sama order to do so, and here the document that has information about the new product that is going to be release " the girl said nervously. Sasuke nod and gestured the girl to hand over the files she was holding. Len hurried to give the papers then bow and left the room.

Sasuke read the papers before setting it down. He look at the pile of papers besides him then sigh. This is going to be a long day.

It was already lunch when Naruto woke up. He stretched his arms up yawning.

" Sasuke? " he said as he look around for his beloved when he remember what happened earlier. ' that right, Sasuke left ' the thought made Naruto tear up. He remembered what Sasuke said about his big brother and the company they run. The blond smile sadly. He still doesn't know that much when it comes to Sasuke. He wish he could so he could help the raven even if it's just a little favor. He got up and notice a white sheet of paper under the lamp stand. The blond pick it up before reading.

Hi babe, I know you are upset about the whole thing about me leaving,

but I promise to work hard and come home by the end of the week.

Naruto giggle at the letter and touch his neck, he really don't mind it when Sasuke bite him. He really love the raven. The blond kiss it before putting it in the drawer. Naruto left the his room before going down stairs to the living room. He look around for his brother and wonder where he was. He entered the kitchen before finding another letter on the fridge where it was stick up by a star magnet.

The blond walk over to the fridge and pluck it out before reading.

Hey lil bro. I'm not going home for a few day because something came up

and I can't shove it off away. I'll see ya in a few weeks.

Oh and I deposit some money in your bank account for you to buy whatever you want

and I'll put more money at the start of the week.

Naruto look at the letter blankly. Sasuke was away and now his brother? Why of all time does it have to be today for Sasuke to leave. The blond thought that when he have Sasuke, he doesn't need to worry about being left alone again. He was use to have his brother leave him, so why did this bother him? Tears run down his big blue eyes. Naruto don't want to be left alone, so why is he now?

The blond wipe away his tears before entering his room again. He lay down on his bed before grabbing his pillow and buried his face on it. Tears still continuously flow down his cheek as he close his eyes.

It been a day since he was left alone but the blond was glad that it was Monday and he could go to school and have fun with his friends. They could accompany him until he cheer up. He did his usual routine from waking up, have a bath, cook breakfast and go to school.

He exited his apartment and went to walk to school. He saw that he was already near and smiled happily. He can't wait to see everyone thought he is looking forward to when Sasuke will be coming home. Naruto smiled sadly as his pace slowed. It made him depress to think that when he comes home, no one is there to greet him back.

That made him even more depress. The blond sigh before he was thrown forward when a hand strongly slap his back. Naruto stumble but manage to regain his balance when he use the school's wall as a support. He sigh in relief before looking back glaring at the person who hit him.

" what the hell! Kiba! " he shouted at the brunette who just grin sheepishly at him.

" sorry dude but you were looking down so I thought that you would snap out of it if I hit you " Naruto glare at the boy. Kiba flinch when he saw how depress Naruto was.

" lets just go inside " the blond said sighing before walking towards his class. The brunette is confuse of the boy's behavior before following him to class.

When they arrive, everyone greeted Naruto especially the boys, but all they get was a nod before the blond sit on his assign chair. Everyone is confuse and worried about Naruto who was always cheerful and happy, not the depress and surrounded by dark aura boy who ignore everything staring quietly at the the sky. Even the teachers was surprise.

It was lunch time and Naruto's friends went to him. " dude let's go eat. I heard they serve ramen today " Kiba said cheerfully trying to lift Naruto's spirit up but only receive a nod. This made everyone look at each other then back at the blond who stand up and walk away probably going to the canteen. They follow the boy who was walking to the cafeteria and sit down at the available tables that were vacant.

Kiba threw look at Hinata gently that's saying to start a conversation. " s-so... Naruto-kun w-why are you.. You know... D-depress " she said nervously since it the first time she seen Naruto acting like this. The blond look at them sadly and they though they felt their heart broke when they saw his sad face.

" it's nothing really. I guess I'm just a little lonely " Naruto said and laid his head on the table. Ten ten pat Naruto gently on the back.

" come to think of it. Where's Uchiha anyway. We didn't saw him this morning " Shikamaru said making Naruto tense remembering the raven was away. " your right. Where is he anyway? " Kiba added looking around

" h-he's not here because he left " Naruto said with a crack voice starling everyone. A pop of idea came out of Tenten " Naruto is the reason why your depress is because Uchiha-san Is not here! " she said shock. This made Naruto sit straight up ' oh no they are going to find out that Sasuke is my mate though Shikamaru already knows ' he didn't reply and everyone already get the idea.

" wow! Never though of you hanging around with the Uchiha can make you lonely when he's not here. That's some kind of relationship you got " Kiba said the others nod except Shikamaru.

' idiots ' Shikamaru thought of them for not noticing, though he agree at the some part that Naruto's really I mean really depress. Naruto sigh in relief that they didn't found out " but my youthful friend how did you know that he left? Where did he go to? " Lee suddenly added.

" yeah! N-Naruto-kun h-how did you k-know " Hinata said stuttering and curios. Everyone agreed and look at him suspiciously. The blond gulp but quickly though of an excuse.

" w-well where in the same neighborhood and my apartment is near his " everyone made an ' ahhhhh ' sound (except Shika ) understanding the explanation. There not surprise since Naruto is richer than them and he basically have a big apartment that his brother rented.

His big brother works at a big company and the pay was high so basically Naruto can be seen as rich. The blond though never use to much money because he knows that even if he have money he knows that it's not being picked from the ground. He knows hardship when they became orphan.

Everyone order something to eat and cheer Naruto up by making him laugh, soon the other of their friends join them - Neji, Sai, Suigetsu and etc. - and laugh happily as Kiba make a fool out of himself.

Naruto laugh joyfully with them. He is happy that he has them as friend and they cheer him up. He wish Sasuke was here but he will wait because Sasuke promise that he will come back.

-time skip-

In the Uchiha incorporated. The younger Uchiha was working for days now and didn't stop until he finishes all the paper that was stocked in his temporary desk. A knock interrupt him causing him to stop doing what he was doing.

Sasuke sigh before saying " come in " and the other person open the door revealing Neji. A thick mark appear on Sasuke's forehead.

" why are you here " he said to the boy. Neji 'tsk' waving a pointing hand up.

" I came here to inform you about your mate and this is how you treat me " the statement made got Sasuke's attention. The raven look at the boy urging him to continue.

" no need to worry about him, although he's a little depress but he got over it when everyone cheered him up " Sasuke lean back the chair and turn to the window watching the clear blue sky that made him remind that it was the same color of his beloved's eyes but much more brighter than the sky's.

His thought wonder to his beloved being sad. The raven want to go home so he could hold his mate in his arm and say 'I love you' so many time to the blond. Sasuke really didn't want to leave but he had no choice. He hope that his brother could come home early so that he could also go straight to his mate and proceed to spend time with him.

Neji observe the Uchiha and he could feel his hungry for blood and more paler than usual. He's face also show that he's not eating regularly enough that made his body tire out. He narrow his eyes at that.

" Uchiha what have you been doing. You look like a zombie for crying out loud. Are you even drinking blood or consume food even a little " the brunette said eyeing the daze Uchiha who snap out of it. Sasuke didn't respond and that made Neji realize that he wasn't taking any blood into his body.

" God! Uchiha. Do you want to kill yourself! What would Uzumaki say when he sees you like this. A man who couldn't even take care of himself or hunt for his food. " he shook his head disapprovingly at the Uchiha prince. Sasuke open his mouth.

" it doesn't taste right. "

" huh! " it made Neji confuse.

" I did drink enough blood but it didn't satisfy my hunger. its like poison to me and It taste like crap " Sasuke said calmly though he didn't understand why his body reacted like it was poison when he need blood. Neji think about what he said and know just the right answer.

" it's blood right? " the long hair boy said.

" of course it is " Sasuke hiss in irritation at the brunette.

" then maybe you need your mate's blood. Maybe that why your reacting bad at others blood because it's not your mate " Sasuke thought for a moment. It's true that his mate's blood is the most sweeties and delicious blood he had ever tasted, not to mention pure.

" but It's not always like this. I used to drink others blood all the time "

" and I also know some cases like this happen. They can't live without drinking their mates blood and you're one of them. And I know that it will taste so bad that it taste like iron and sand when you drink another's blood. " Neji finish. The rave is worried at his condition. How is he going to tell Naruto this!

" look Uchiha, even if it did taste bad you should drink it and endure it. If not, you will die of thirst. Just tell your mate and he will understand " the last sentence made Sasuke snap.

" I KNOW! And that's what I'm scared about. I know... That Naruto will understand but it could endanger his life if I keep drinking blood from his system. It hurt me to imagine that he will slowly die because of it! I'D RATHER SUFFER FROM HUNGER THAN SEEING HIM IN HIS DEATH BED." The raven slam his fist on the glass window breaking it. He don't want that. He don't want Naruto to sacrifice for him and he should be the one to do the sacrificing.

Neji shook his head. He too will lost his mind if he loose his mate but he can't keep this up and hide his condition. The others will notice this too and he can't keep it a secret forever.

" just relax and tell Uzumaki the truth. It won't be as painful as it is than to see the one you love to cry. After all, the two of you are destined to be together " with that he exit the office. The people outside is cowering in fear, probably because of the glass shattering sound they heard. He left the Uchiha inc. and go home.

Sasuke stand still as shatter glass surround his floor. his bangs fell to his eyes hiding them. A tear slid down his cheek. ' This wasn't happening ' he thought as a he felt painful throb in his motionless heart. Why is his heart even hurting? It's not even beating until he meet Naruto. He grasp the clothe at his heart. He breath deeply to calm himself. He will find a solution of this, he promise.

Naruto sigh, it been a week since Sasuke was gone. It was Sunday, so that meant no class and he had many things to do to keep himself from being bored. He sweep and mop the floor, dusting furniture sand windows, doing the laundry and hang them out the sun before resting for a bit. He watch some tv while waiting for their clothes to dry.

The blond watch for a few hour and eat some cup ramen before gathering the laundry and put them in a basket to fold them later. Naruto only has one thing to do and that is shopping for groceries. It was already around 3:00 in the afternoon so he hurriedly grab his wallet before exiting his apartment but not before locking it of course.

When he arrive, Naruto bought some food. He bought fruits, egg, loaf, bacon, vegetables and etc. they we're nought to cover for a week. He left carrying the food in a bag and satisfied at the groceries he bought.

The blond step into his apartment and put the bags on the kitchen counter and put them in a right place. When he finish, he fold the laundry and put them in his and his beloved's closet, also in Kyuubi's.

" *yawn* I'm so tired " he mumble before dragging himself to his bed and flop his body into it . Naruto grab a pillow and cuddle it close to him. He stared into space as he miss the body that he was cuddling a week ago. His wanted Sasuke to be here and sleep with him. He want Sasuke to caress his hair gently and lovingly saying sweet words to him until he falls asleep.

He close his eyes as he tries to sleep but that didn't stop the tears that escape his close eyes. He hug the pillow tighter feeling pitiful to himself. It's like the color of the world faded from his eyes when Sasuke is not here. He is alone in this room with no one. Naruto feel into a deep slumber, not even remembering to eat.

Naruto jerk as a knock was hear downstairs. He look at his alarm and says it's was 10:00 pm. Who could it be? It's late at night? He snap out his thought when he heard the knock again and this time it was a little louder. He got up and head down. He yawn and rub his sleepy eyes. When he reach the door he unlock it and turn the handle before pulling it.

His eyes widen when he saw the person outside his house. A familiar raven hair, creamy white skin and dark eyes stare lovingly at him. Naruto didn't even know that tears are running down his face.

Sasuke smile happily when he saw his beloved. He didn't see him for a week and it was natural that he deeply miss his precious person. He reach his hand out and wipe the tears that's running down Naruto's face

" I'm home " he said gently. The blond smile and jump to hug Sasuke.

" you're home " Naruto said as he tightly hug his mate as tears of happiness still running down his face. The raven rub Naruto's back slowly as the other man cry. He lift the smaller man up in bridal style who tighten his hold on the Uchiha more, not willing to let go. Sasuke brought them inside and lock the door before climbing up the stairs to their bedroom. He lied Naruto down his back on the mattress.

" don't worry, I won't leave again " the raven said trying to calm down his mate who slowly pull back to see the vampire's face. The blond caress the cheek of the man.

" I miss you " Naruto said softly as he wipe away his tears.

" I miss you too, love " he lean down and kiss Naruto softly on the lips who sob and cry more because he miss his beloved's touch. Sasuke cup the blondes cheek with his hand and kiss every part of Naruto's face licking the salty tears away. When everything calm down, they stare at each other for a few minutes before hugging again.

" I'm never letting us part away from each other ever again " Sasuke said lovingly and nuzzle at the blond's cheek. Naruto giggle softly but stop as he notice something odd about Sasuke.

He seem too pale and he lost some weight. His eyes seems so sleepy looking with a tint of red in them. Naruto softly caress Sasuke's hair. Before examining the raven vampire's face.

" what's wrong Sasuke? Why are you too pale and you look like a sleepless person " Sasuke tense when Naruto notice this.

" it's nothing! I'm just tired from work that's all. " he came up with an excuse but Naruto didn't buy it.

"Sasuke tell me the truth. I can't see that something's wrong with you " the blonds face was fill with worry as he imagine bad things that happen. Sasuke sat up and Naruto follow his lead. The raven bit his lips he is worried of what reaction Naruto will show and fell of his situation. He felt a gentle touch on his cheek and lean on it. He close his eyes feeling so calm when Naruto touch his cheek gently and caress it softly. A thirst for blood suddenly attack him making him jerk away his beloved who was confuse.

" Sasuke? " Naruto was about to touch him again.

" don't touch me! " he said making Naruto jump in surprise and hurt can be seen in those beautiful blue eyes. The raven restrain himself to lose control of his hunger. He won't let himself hurt Naruto.

" I don't want to hurt you... " he look at directly into his mates eyes who gasp as he saw how red Sasuke's eyes was.

Naruto smile lovingly at him as he understand what cause this behavior of the vampire. He went to touch his mate but the Uchiha leap away and stop at the corner of the room. The blond shook his head but still smiling at his beloved. He got off the bed and approach the raven. Sasuke was about to escape again when Naruto quickly hug him tightly.

" N-Naru- " " shh " Naruto hug even more tighter not letting go as Sasuke struggle gently trying to make him let go. In a few minutes, Sasuke stop but was panting trying to stop himself from getting out of control. Naruto hum softly to calm the hungry vampire. The raven slid down the floor and Naruto was still hugging him.

" grrrrrrr.. " he growl lowly and wrap his arms around himself stopping himself from biting his mate.

" let it go Sasuke, let it go... " Sasuke look at his made with half lidded blood red eyes and relax as Naruto hum again softly.

Naruto look at his poor Sasuke who was suffering from hunger and trying to contain himself from sucking the blood out of the blond. He tilt his head to the side and guide the ravens mouth to his neck who was quivering and tense even more.

" go on and feed to your content my vampire " Naruto waited for Sasuke to bite him while caressing his dark hair gently. Sasuke couldn't hold it anymore, shakily he bit the offered neck. Both moan at it, one from pleasure and one from relief. Naruto cried out when Sasuke wrap his arms around his small body and dig his fangs even deeper making Naruto lose himself from pleasure.

Sasuke's body release a big wave of shiver when his mate's blood enter his mouth down his throat. It was so delicious, not like those crappy one that taste like sand and iron. He dive even more and drink more blood as his body recover from hunger and his thirst for blood died down. He didn't know how many minutes it was since he have been sucking but his eyes widen when he realize that he had been taking too much blood from the blond. He pull away and lick the wound to close it up before looking at his mate. Pain fill his being when Naruto didn't move or moan or even a single twitch.

His body shake furiously as tears of blood flow down his eyes from the agony of losing his mate from his selfish act. He promise himself so why did this happen?
