A/N: So here is the chapter a lot of you have been looking for! I'm sorry it took me so long to post. I hope I did it justice. Please review and let me know what you think! Enjoy!
After much planning, today was finally the day that Andy was going to officially become Mrs. Sam Swarek. Traci, Zoe, and Sarah had been helping her with all the planning, but she was still stressing out because she wanted the day to go perfect. She had to make so many decisions these past six months that she thought she was going to go crazy. As for the bridal party, she had decided Traci as her Maid of Honor, Zoe and Sarah as her bridesmaids, and Oliver's daughters as the flower girls. Sam had chosen Oliver as his Best Man and Jerry and Frank as his groomsmen.
She had just finished get ready and was putting on the last few touches of makeup when someone knocked on the door. "Come in," she yelled. The bridesmaids were all waiting outside, so there was only one person it could be.
The door opened and Oliver walked in with a huge smile on his face. "You look stunning Andy!" he stated walking over to her.
"Thanks Oli," she replied, "I'm going a little stir crazy in here. I don't think I can handle being stuck in this room much longer. I know I haven't asked you until now, but would you mind walking me down the aisle?"
Oliver took her hand before saying, "I would be honored. Your dad would be so proud of the woman that you've become. I know you miss him, but he's here with you in spirit and I know he would tell you that you make a beautiful bride."
Andy started tearing up and whispered, "I miss him so much."
"I know you do, and I wish he was the one walking you down the aisle today. But I promise I'll do my best to do it justice. I love you kiddo," he answered pulling her into his arms, "Now let's go before my wife comes in here and gets on my case for making you cry and messing up your makeup." Andy laughed and followed him out.
Sam stood at the front waiting for Andy to make her way down the aisle. He knew that today was going to be a little tough for her because her dad wouldn't be here to walk her down the aisle. He watched as the girls made their way towards him. He smiled as Sarah winked at him when she passed by. Then everyone stood up as Oliver escorted Andy down the aisle. He couldn't help but smile at his gorgeous soon-to-be wife walking towards him. He was also happy that Oliver agreed to walk her down the aisle.
By the time Andy made it to him, her smile could light a room. He took her hand when she got close enough and rubbed the back of her palm. Oliver gave him a nod before going to stand next to the other groomsmen. Then the officiate began the service. They had decided to go with the traditional vows instead of writing their own. After reciting the vows and exchanging rings, it was time for the part Sam had waited almost two years for. He waited as the officiate announced, "I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss your bride." He pulled her in for a sweet kiss while all their friends and family cheered. The officiate then said, "Now may I introduce you to Mr. and Mrs. Sam Swarek."
After walking down the aisle as husband and wife, Sam pulled her into a secluded room. Before she could say anything, Sam pulled her into his arms and kissed her senseless. Sam pulled her into him again and whispered, "I love you Andy Swarek, but you'll always be my McNally. Thank you for making me the happiest man in the world today."
Andy grinned, "I wouldn't have it any other way. I love you too. Now let's go celebrate with our friends and family."
After taking several pictures, everyone headed to the reception. As expected, most all of the 15th Division was there in attendance as well as some other officers and friends from other parts. Everyone ate and socialized with the new bride and groom. Even though Sam wasn't much of a dancer, he had agreed to dance with Andy just once. They each cut the cake and managed to not throw it in the others face.
Before long, it was time for the toasts. Oliver went first and got everyone's attention. He tapped his glass before starting, "As most of you know, I've known Andy for as long as I've been a cop. Her father was my training officer, so I always looked out for her. She was the little sister that I never had, but she was family. I admit she could be a pain sometimes, especially in high school, but I always had her back. Then there's Sam who I have known pretty much my whole life and he is the best friend any guy could ask for. We've been through a lot of stuff, both good and bad, but we were always there for each other. Now as I look at two of the most important people in my life, I can't help but smile because I know that you guys were meant for each other. So with that said congratulations guys. I love you and maybe you could make me an uncle pretty soon." Everyone laughed as he walked over and gave them both a hug.
Traci walked on stage next and began, "Well what can I say about these two. I've known Andy since we were practically babies and have been best friends ever since. We've stuck by each other through all the good times and bad, even when she went off to college. Out of all those years, I never saw her fall so hard for a guy though until she met Swarek, which is when I knew that he was the one for her. From the first time he offered to take her home from Penny's, I knew that he would always take care of and protect her. Swarek, I couldn't ask for a better guy for my best friend. Thank you for loving her and treating her the way she deserves. Congrats you guys!"
Zoe and Sarah also wanted to say a few words to the happy couple. Zoe went first and stated, "I'm so happy for you guys. All of my persuading finally paid off…hahaha. Now go make me some nieces and nephews."
"We'll get right on that," Sam joked from his seat, "just as soon as we leave." Andy just laughed and hit him in the shoulder.
Sarah was the last to walk up. "So I didn't make a speech because I knew I would probably wind up crying if I did. I just wanted to say that I'm so happy my little brother found his soul mate. Welcome to the family Andy. I told you it would happen. I love you both!" she finished going over to pull them in for a hug.
After giving Sarah a hug, Sam got up and walked on the stage. "I just wanted to thank everyone for coming to celebrate this special day with Andy and I. We love all of you. I also wanted to thank Tommy McNally for raising a beautiful woman that I'm now lucky to call my wife. I know that he was unable to see his daughter get married today, but I know wherever he is, he is looking down with a smile on his face. Andy, thank you for helping me find love even when I didn't know I was searching for it. I love you with all of my heart," he said before walking over to his wife.
She pulled him in for a kiss before whispering, "Thank you for making this day so perfect. I love you too."
A/N: I'm thinking of adding an epilogue... let me know what you guys think. As for now, this story has come to a close! I really enjoyed writing it. Thank you all for sticking with it.
