Oh this is crazy :D Thanks for the great response, everyone! I always love making people laugh with my stories :) I hope you don't mind that I'll go for some family fluff and humor first before throwing you into the serious plot. Although, my strange trademark humor kinda never vanishes out of my stories, even when shit hits the fan.

Edit2019: Hello again :) I've finally come around to update this chapter as well. Hope you enjoy~

Chapter Four

Asari's Garden

It only took them half an hour to reach the gigantic mansion at the other side of the port town. As though it was guarding the area, the historic Vongola estate stood on top of a hill from which one could spot not only the city but the deep blue sea that shimmered distantly in the sunlight. The view would have captured Tsuna if he wasn't busy formulating a plan to escape.

What in the world did Primo's family want to do with them?

Now that he had a couple of years as the future leader of the Vongola Family under his belt, Tsuna had a vague idea what innocent experiments usually entailed and knew that they never had a happy ending. One would think that given their position in the family, they would be protected from insane inventors, but of course that was only wishful thinking on his part.

Reborn had made sure that the tenth generation were the lab rats of their mentally unstable scientists and Tsuna briefly wondered who the worst of them was.

To be fair, Doctor Shamal's experiments were rather tame in comparison to the others. There was only that one time when he unleashed his love-love trident mosquito on them that he really didn't appreciate. Its original purpose was to make girls fall head over heels in love with the unlucky doctor. However, the artificial pheromone had a different effect on boys, which he should've researched before he tested it on them.

For three very long days, his guardians were transformed into girls and while Tsuna didn't even think it was all that bad, Hibari didn't share his opinion. Mukuro and Yamamoto were surprisingly comfortable with it, but only until the day Hibari turned out to be PMSing.

It was a relief that Spanner had invented a flashlight that erases memories, like the one they have in Men in Black, otherwise the prefect would have killed them all in cold blood.

"It never happened. Just forget it, Tsuna. It never happened." Tsuna laughed nervously while cringing at the memory, which earned him a curious glance from Primo. Taking to himself out of the blue must make him look like a mental case. "I-it's n-nothing, Papa."

"If you say so, Tsuna."

The boy nodded and turned his head back to the window of the carriage, watching trees pass by.

Shamal might've messed up, but Verde was a lot worse than him. The scientist's favorite test subject was without a doubt Lambo. One day, he took a sample of his DNA and created a clone of the cow kid. Tsuna didn't even know it was possible to clone anything but sheep until that day, but Verde wasn't considered the modern Leonardo da Vinci for nothing.

Admittedly, it was kind of interesting to watch a copy of Lambo interact with the original, but only until they got into a fight about the ownership of Tsuna's candy. In the end, both grew tired of fighting and simply decided to gang up on him to steal his favorite sweets. It was then that he decided that one Lambo was more than enough and even Verde got annoyed when they destroyed his expensive equipment. To this day, Tsuna didn't know what happened to Clone Lambo afterwards, but he was too scared to find out.

However, not even Verde could top the trio of inventors, who were conducting the most terrifying experiments.

Shoichi had the ideas, Spanner implemented and Giannini helped. Please attempt to spot the mistake in the previous sentence. Yeah … Giannini was an active part of the weapon development team.

Many people think Tsuna and his guardians got most of their scars in battle, but they are wrong, very wrong. There were new guns, tridents, bombs, dynamite, tonfas, bazooka, arrows, improved poison cooking, Gola Moska, Giant Gola Moska, Monster Gola Moska, swords, box weapons, dying will bullets, scythes and the list could go on endlessly. All of those inventions had to be tested, which meant frequent trips to the infirmary for the tenth generation.

Tsuna could safely say that he had enough of experiments for the rest of his life, including whatever his great-great-great grandfather had planned for them. He was a human last time he checked, not a guinea pig, and even those deserved better.

"Welcome to your new home," Primo interrupted his thoughts. "The Vongola mansion. Do you like it?"

While the young boss had been lost in depressing flashbacks, the first generation had carried them out of the carriage and made their way towards an imposing building that dwarfed everything they had seen in the city. It was four stories tall with ivy climbing up the sturdy sandstone bricks and overall he estimated it to be bigger than their school. However, he found himself even more impressed and mildly frightened by the mean-looking guards that were stationed across the property as well as the surrounding forest.

"It looks so cool," Tsuna exclaimed excitedly while his ancestor tilted his head in confusion. Right, they were in the past were certain words didn't exist yet. "A-ah, well … that's a word me and my f-friends made up. It means that it looks nice."

"That's reminds me of when my beloved G and I tried to invent our own secret language. In the end, he was the only one who managed to use it though," Primo replied with an easy laugh, "I'm glad you like it and it's actually cooler on the inside as well since the stone keeps most of the heat outside. At least, that's what Knuckle told me."

For once Tsuna was relieved that he was in the body of a child because otherwise, he wasn't so sure his excuse would've worked. He really should be more careful from now on.

"I can't believe you never noticed that it's colder inside a church." G muttered, "Also, stop telling him unnecessary information about us. I still don't trust these children."

"Come on, G." Vongola Primo frowned. "What harm could a bunch of orphaned children possibly do?"

While G began to list everything that they could potentially do to hurt them, Tsuna looked to Gokudera-kun, who was glaring at his new surroundings as if to memorize every detail of the house .. which he was probably doing. The young boss forced an exhausted smile when his silver-haired friend showed him a thumbs up.

As expected, the inside was even more intimidating than the outside. Grand chandeliers dangled delicately from the high ceiling in the entrance hall, throwing multi-colored lights on the polished sandstone floor that was covered in well-groomed expensive red carpets. Paintings of beautiful landscapes were hung on the wall in thick golden frames next to portraits of previous owners and famous people, who were watching them pass by with their lifeless eyes.

"So … now that we adopted these stupid brats, what are we going to do with them?" Lampo questioned awkwardly while he held the small lightning guardian as far away from his body as he could. "Could somebody take care of this one for me? He keeps picking his nose for some reason and gets his germs all over me. It's disgusting. The great Lampo wants to take a bath."

"I don't have germs, stupid Broccoli-head!" Lambo yelled with tears in his eyes. "Gotta … stay … calm!"

As per usual, his catchphrase did nothing to actually calm him down, so he began to cry anyway. Ever since they got turned into children, it seemed like Lambo's screams had gotten even more ear-piercing due to the high pitch, resulting in a collective cringe from the group.

"Shut that thing up before I do." Alaude, who was surprisingly still present, demanded in an icy tone.

However, everyone else was too busy holding their ears and seeing that none of the adults had any idea how to stop the child from making noise, the detective decided to leave the scene and dragged his mini version with him. No matter how loud they were, he couldn't actually hit a child. It was against the law.

Tsuna knew that his youngest guardian was reaching his limit, if the faint crackling of lightning flames wasn't enough indication. After being transported to the past twice, countless insults and rough treatment it was only a matter of time until he snapped again. In an attempt to prevent the inevitable violent outburst that would probably make the first generation super suspicious of them, he tried to wiggle out of Primo's embrace.

"Um … p-papa could you please let me go?"

"No way," Primo protested. "I like carrying you."

What the hell? Despite his ancestors protest, Tsuna tried to escape, but it proved to be a harder task than expected since every time he pushed his arms away, Primo only held him closer as though he was cuddling a teddy bear. Decimo wanted to bash his head against a wall. Why did his ancestor have to be the clingy type?

The young boss internally apologized to his new father for the drastic thing he was about to do. Primo didn't leave him with another option. It was the only way he could escape the hug and save his family from being exposed, so he bit Primo's arm who yelped in pain and let him go.

Unfortunately, Tsuna wasn't able to predict the consequences of his harmless attack, which ended in a terrible chain-reaction.

The sudden pain in his arm drove tears to Giotto's eyes, making his vision blurry and leaving him feeling disoriented. He stumbled against G who let go of Gokudera in the process, who in turn tripped and bumped against Knuckle. The priest had been readjusting Ryohei on his back, which was why his balance was also thrown off when Gokudera stumbled against him. Attempting to save his new son from being crushed by his body, Knuckle grabbed Ryohei's hand and threw him like a hot potato. Then, the small boxer sailed through the air, only to crash land onto the crying Lambo.

Crack.

Their heads collided with a painful noise, making Tsuna wince where he stood. He knew from experience how inhumanly hard Ryohei's had was, so it wasn't surprising that this was the straw that broke the camel's back for his lightning guardian.

"CAN'T!" Lambo shouted in pain. "IT HURTS!"

Much to Tsuna's dismay, green lightning class flames crackled angrily around his little brother's body. Well, there goes whatever credibility they had as normal children. They had already been sticking out since they looked so similar to the first generation family, but five-year old kids using flames would definitely increase their suspicions. It was like holding up a blinking neon sign above their heads that spelled 'mafia'.

However, the damage was already done because soon the flames grew brighter and Lambo discharged them towards everything directly connected to him, namely Lampo. Screams of pain echoed in the hallway before they stopped abruptly when the first lightning guardian dropped the child to the floor. The remaining static unloaded itself in the air and the floor, leaving behind the smell of something burnt and a cloud of smoke that slowly evaporated.

In front of the gaping first and annoyed tenth generation stood a roasted Lampo with a wailing Lambo at his feet.

Tsuna couldn't resist the urge to slap his forehead. They couldn't even manage a full day in the past without sticking out like sore thumbs, so why did he think that would change once they met the first generation of Vongola. Sure, it didn't really matter if Primo knew that they could use flames since they were planning on escaping from this mansion anyways, however, he'd still rather kept it a secret.

"Those were flames of the lightning class." Asari was the first to find his voice and looked at the child with a mixture of shock and amazement. "There are few people we've encountered who are able to use flames, but apart from the Arcobaleno, I've never seen a child use them, de gozaru."

Suddenly, G took a step forward and towered over the frightened child with a threatening glare. "Are you an Arcobaleno?"

Panic spread rapidly through Tsuna's body while he thought of ways to get them out of this mess. He was glad that Lampo had caught on to the seriousness of their situation by now and violently shook his head in denial, however, an interrogation by the first generation was something they should avoid at all cost.

"That child an Arcobaleno?" Daemon mocked G with a raise of his eyebrow. "A few minutes ago he was rubbing snot onto Lampo and you think he's one of the seven strongest people on this planet? Your paranoia had reached a new low, G."

It was the first and only time that Tsuna was glad for the first mist guardian's presence.

"Daemon is right," Vongola Primo interrupted, hoping to prevent a fight between them. "We already know the identity of the strongest seven and besides, I don't see any pacifiers on these children. Not to mention, they're too old to be Arcobaleno."

Tsuna sighed in relief and felt the tension melt off his spine. Apparently, they were still in the clear, but they would have to be smarter in the future if they didn't want to get discovered.

"The child's flames even purer than yours, Lampo." Knuckle slapped the first lightning guardian on the shoulder in a congratulatory manner. "You're lucky, he must be a prodigy."

The priest turned towards the young heir with a bright smile, which didn't get returned.

"That nasty brat almost killed me and all you got to say is that he's a prodigy?" Lampo shook with anger, frowning at supposed genius child with a mixture of distaste. "If you like him so much already, why don't you take care of him? I hate kids and I hate them even more when they are dangerous."

"Now, now Lampo," Elena intervened sternly. "You can't say that. You're going to hurt his feelings."

"What about my feelings?!"

"Are you alright, Lambo?" Tsuna approached his youngest guardian with concern swimming in his eyes. He helped him up, wiped the remaining tears away and pulled a grape candy out of his pocket. "Everything is fine. Look, I even brought some candy along. Uncle Lampo didn't mean it like that, so please don't cause trouble for our new parents, okay?"

Wanting to please his big brother, Lambo nodded with a pout and started to lick his favorite candy. Tsuna smiled, glad that he could cheer him up and patted his head in a comforting manner. Meanwhile, Elena squealed at their adorable display while the rest of the guardians attempted to suppress the warm feeling in their chest that the scene evoked.

"Isn't my son adorable?" Primo, who had apparently already forgotten the bite, cooed and scooped Tsuna up in his arms again. "But to get back to your question, Lampo, we have to make them feel loved and accepted. They were orphans after all and growing up without parents is lonely. I have no idea what we should do with them though."

As if on cue, Tsuna's stomach growled which made it easy to decide.

"Let's go and fill our bellies to the maximum," Knuckle exclaimed enthusiastically. "Having three meals a day is important for your gaining maximum health and I want Ryohei to grow into a healthy young adult!"

"There a little on the thin side," Elena concluded with an edge to her voice. "I bet they haven't gotten anything from that unpleasant woman."

Tsuna sighed, noting how she was only half correct. Sure, they had barely eaten anything since they had arrived in this era, but that wasn't Maria Carcere's fault alone. The orphanage, like the rest of town, seemed to be low on food and they had felt guilty for thinning out the already watery soup for the other children, which is why they shared most of their food with them. However, it was suspicious how well fed the workers were in comparison.

They had only spent a few hours in total at the orphanage, but it had been enough to know that it was a terrible place for children. It had been pretty clear that neither Miss Carcere nor her employees liked children. They only viewed them as a means to gain money from the city as well as exploiting them for cheap labor to keep the house and garden clean.

The tenth generation had tried to socialize with those children to find more information on the town and their lives, but found the task impossible. After venturing through the run-down house, they found several rooms in the cellar that resembled prison cells as well as a closet in the hallway that was filled with torture instruments. Luckily, these forms of discipline were against the law in their era, however, that didn't mean that child abuse didn't happen there either.

The young boss wasn't sure what the laws concerning children in 16th century Italy were, but the dark expressions the first family had shown at the mention of Miss Carcere made him curious.

"U-um … papa?" Tsuna wondered. "What were you talking about with Uncle Alaude earlier? What's going to happen to Carcere-san?"

"Don't worry, Tsuna, that evil person will never bother you again." Primo stroked his hair reassuringly and smiled. "She'll never take care of children again either. We will make sure of that."

A shiver ran down his spine when he detected the angry undertone in Vongola Primo's voice. Although they weren't a mafia family at this point in time, the first generation's vigilante group wasn't one you wanted to mess with under any circumstance.

Tsuna decided to curb his curiosity for now.

『ボンゴレファミリー』

They arrived at a grand dining hall that looked equally fancy compared to the rest of the mansion, except that the floor was made of black stones, which were much less susceptible to food stains. In the middle of the room stood one big wooden table that was already covered with all kinds of traditional Italian cuisine. The delicious smell made him painfully aware of how hungry he actually was.

Vongola Primo sat down on a grand chair at the end of the table that Tsuna had only known from pictures. It was almost surreal that he was sitting in it now, albeit in the lap of his ancestor, so he touched the carved would as if to remind himself that this was real.

G and Gokudera sat to their right while Asari and Yamamoto took the seat to his left. The rest of the guardians took their respective seats among the table, though everyone looked a bit uncomfortable adjusting to the odd arrangement. Apparently, they hadn't actually prepared themselves for adopting children, which is why they were forced to eat like this until they hopefully got their own seats tomorrow.

Well, it's not like it really mattered since they were going to escape as soon as possible anyways.

Dinner started surprisingly peaceful for their standards, which Tsuna attributed to their empty stomachs, with the first generation asking their new kids trivial questions about themselves. They could answer most of them without breaking a sweat, but as soon as the conversation drifted towards why they had been causing trouble for the town, the level of difficulty suddenly shot up. Tsuna didn't know how he should explain Hibari's warped perception of discipline or Lambo's temper tantrums or Gokudera's over-protectiveness or … their behavior in general without freaking their ancestors out.

"Hahaha we we're just playing our own version of hide-and-seek." Yamamoto answered for him, saving the day again. "It got a little bit our of hand since we don't know this place very well, so some of us panicked and tried to get the other's attention. Luckily, Tsuna and Hibari found us before anything bad could happen. Also, it was nice of Carcere-san to take us in despite what happened yesterday."

Tsuna sighed in exasperation. Yamamoto was too pure for this world.

"Ah, that makes perfect sense." Asari concluded in a happy-go-lucky manner, "We should play it again sometime, once you are familiar with this city."

"What the hell, flute idiot?" The veins on G's forehead pulsed dangerously as he waved the list with the damages that Franco had compiled in front of the rain guardian. "How could a simple game of hide-and-seek injure some students, put craters in the pavement and destroy part of the town's market?"

Miss Carcere must've already sent someone with the paperwork for the adoption and snuck those documents in as well. Tsuna had hoped that they could deal with that matter privately, using the money Chrome and Mukuro stole from Daemon Spade to compensate the town for the damages. However, as homeless orphans, showing such a huge amount of money to their adoptive family would raise questions and there was no way he was going to mention his mist guardian's bank robbery to them.

"Now, now G. I'm sure there is a logical explanation for this," Asari attempted to pacify the angry storm guardian. "Alaude's kid can fight and Daemon's kid can create illusions, so when they defend themselves it might lead to some destruction. Lambo can use lightning type flames and since he is a sensitive child, it's not surprising that he might've let them loose by accident, de gozaru."

"Heh. The great Lambo-sama is strong," the small lightning guardian proclaimed proudly, followed by a maniacal laugh. "You should all bow down to Lambo-sama and become my servants."

"Shut up while the adults are talking, brat." Lampo scolded, showing a forkful of pasta into his mouth to shut him up. "Also, it wasn't a compliment."

"I agree with Asari," Vongola Primo added. "Also, you know that if you don't learn to defend yourself you won't survive in the streets. It wouldn't be surprised if they at least know how to defend themselves. It fills me with pain to think that children still have to fight for their lives, but isn't that what we're trying to change by protecting the city?"

"Sure, but that doesn't mean they aren't suspicious," G argued, before pointing a finger at Gokudera on his lap. "This one is particularly dangerous and causes nothing but trouble once you let him out of your sight. While we were in the carriage, he attempted to steal one of my cigarettes."

Another valuable lesson Reborn's class on Vongola history had taught him was that you should never get between the first storm guardian and his precious cancer sticks. If you thought that G was already ill tempered in his natural state, you clearly haven't seen him smoke-deprived.

Tsuna had briefly wondered whether Gokudera was somehow related to the first storm guardian because while his best friend could go for a while without nicotine, he definitely craved it under stress. Well, it's not like his storm guardian could buy his own package at the moment and the situation was pretty stressful, but he still wished Gokudera wouldn't anger their ancestors over cigarettes.

"Tch. If I wanted to, I could have gotten it by force." Gokudera muttered pridefully. "I was just taking pity on you, old man."

"Oh really? You think a puny kid like you can overpower me? I'd love to see you try." G challenged, his right eyebrow twitching in annoyance. "I'll never lose to a brat like you, but if that day ever comes I will eat an entire plate of raw ghost peppers."

"Bring it on, old man." The little storm guardian yelled back, brimming with confidence, which probably originated from his desire to finally beat G after being embarrassed during the ring trials. "I'll take you down any day, any time!"

Gokudera-kun, Tsuna thought helplessly, please don't fight with him.

"God, you're such an ungrateful brat. Here we are, providing you with food and shelter, and all you can do is causing trouble." G shook his head. "You better learn how to be respectful to your elders or I'll have to seriously consider beating it into you."

Tsuna heard Primo mumble something about G contradicting himself by arguing with a child, but he was silences by a fierce glare from his childhood friends, telling him without words not to interfere with his style of parenting. Meanwhile, Gokudera, intending to prove that he was superior, had jumped on the dining table and thrown a small bomb into the lap of the first storm guardian.

The young boss nearly had a heart attack, but once he recognized it as one of the few smoke bombs modified by Giannini that weren't dysfunctional, he felt himself calm down again. It would give G a fright but it wouldn't harm him or cause any serious damage. Only a moment later, the bomb exploded in the first storm guardian's wide-eyed face. When the cloud of pink smoke slowly evaporated, it revealed G's stunned features, which were now as pink as his hair.

The first and tenth generation hat a tough time containing their laughter.

"That was as strong as a butterfly bumping into my face, brat." G smirked smugly, not knowing what his adopted son had done. However, when they continued laughing at him, he began to grow doubtful. "What? Is there something on my face?"

The first storm guardian reached up to touch his face and stared at the ink on his fingers in disbelief. If he had been hostile towards Gokudera before, it was nothing against the murderous look he was shooting him now.

"As strong as a butterfly? Don't look down on me, old man. Have you never heard of the Chaos Theory? Even a butterfly might be able to cause a hurricane on the other side of the Earth," Gokudera explained in a mocking tone, excited about his victory while simultaneously serious about explaining the theory. "Just think about what an UMA could do instead of a butterfly. It might be able to cause the apocalypse or something even greater that goes beyond our human understanding. Scientists have recently discovered ..."

And there it was, Gokudera-kun's theoretical approach. Tsuna could almost imagine him donning his glasses while standing in front of a blackboard to explain the phenomena to an attentive class. However, G seemed neither interested nor amused and instead of listening, he began scolding the boy while pulling his ear in a painful angle.

While the young boss was worried about the storm guardian combination, he didn't think G would actually do anything to harm his friend. In fact he was a lot more worried about another group of people who had been suspiciously quiet, so Tsuna tuned them out and shot a hesitant glance in the general direction of Daemon Spade.

"Kufufu. My bad. I didn't mean for my fork to stab your hand, Daemelon." Mukuro faked an innocent smile, which wasn't very effective on Daemon, but Elena seemed to buy his act. "Will you find it in your heart to forgive me?"

"Demon child, I would disown you for this, but you're going to be the servant of Elena's and my first born child anyways." Daemon pressed through his teeth as he clenched his own fork so tight that it bent in his grasp. "However, if you do that again I cannot guarantee for your safety."

Mukuro didn't waste any time, twisting his face in a way that resembled Lambo when he was about to cry. With the help of illusions, he even managed to make his heterochromatic eyes look teary, which promptly called forth the wrath of Daemon's fiance.

"I can't believe you're threatening a child," Elena said with disapproval while holding a little tighter onto Chrome. "Your his father and role model. If you cannot get along with him, then don't even think about me ever giving you a child. Besides, I disagree with Mukuro and Chrome being servants. We should love all our children equally, regardless of whether they are related to us by blood or not."

"Elena, don't be fooled by this child." Daemon warned. "He stabbed me on purpose and now he's acting innocent."

"How can you say that and not be embarrassed?" Elena snapped back. "Why would he hurt you for no reason? He's just a five-year old child, who is probably trying to cover up how nervous he is about being in a fancy place with people he barely knows, so his sister doesn't have to worry. Has working in this organization made you so paranoid that you can't even tell friend from foe?"

Daemon stared at her in disbelief, but before he could protest another voice interrupted.

"Is onii-sama going to get punished?" Chrome asked Elena with a hint of fear, though Tsuna got the feeling that she was in on the act. "He didn't mean to do it. If you need to punish someone, please punish me instead."

"Oh, my dear child. Don't listen to Daemon," Elena replied worriedly, petting the girl's head in an attempt to provide comfort. "You don't have to be afraid. Nobody is going to get punished, especially not you or your cute twin brother. I will personally make sure of that."

If this continued, the first mist guardian would be in some serious trouble. Judging by the mischievous glint in Mukuro's eyes, everything went according to his plan. Tsuna had suspected that his mist guardian was trying to sabotage their relationship since it was something Daemon valued above all else, but he hadn't expected to enjoy watching it himself. It was funny to see the scary Daemon Spade, who had attacked them and tortured Chrome in the future, being put in his place.

Besides, he was lucky that Mukuro didn't resort to more violent tactics to enact his revenge.

"Daemelon, don't be so harsh with the boy. He's an orphan to the maximum. How is he supposed to know how to eat properly? We don't know what hardships these children had to face up until now, so there is no reason to get upset over something like table manners." Knuckle had understood nothing that had been said, but could guess what caused the argument, so he tried his best to end it but achieved the opposite.

"Nufufu. What did you call me?" The smile on Daemon's face wouldn't fall under the category of a smile in anyone's dictionary. "It's bad enough that the demon child calls me that, but I don't intend to let anyone else call me by that abomination unless they wish to end up in a world of pain."

Vongola Primo chuckled nervously and averted his eyes, as did most of the people who had laughed about the name previously.

"Oh, so only Mukuro is allowed to call you that? I didn't know you two already had such a strong bond. Besides, Daemelon sounds a lot more friendly, so it makes sense!" Knuckle replied with a laugh, apparently immune to the first mist guardian's deadly aura. It looked like Lampo had the urge to clamp a hand over the sun guardian's mouth to stop him from digging his own grave, but he was too nervous to move. "Alright! I'm not gonna lose to you! Ryohei, we're going to think of even better nicknames to the maximum!"

"I have no idea what you're saying, but the energy in your voice is extreme!" Ryohei shouted back, pumping his fists up in the air. "I'm not gonna lose to the extreme!"

Meanwhile, Daemon had begun to snicker eerily while emitting waves of murderous intent. It looked as though he had gone past the point of caring what Elena thought of him since in the blink of an eye, he unleashed an array of gory illusions on them, which resulted in instantaneous appetite loss. After watching a bunch of illusion insects march over his food, which started to devour themselves and form the corpses of Knuckle and Mukuro, Tsuna felt sick. He couldn't help but imagine the piece of pizza in his stomach turning into a ball of slimy centipedes and shuddered.

"Er ..." Tsuna pushed the bowl of tomato soup away from him. "I don't think I'm hungry anymore."

In the background, he could head Elena start a shouting match with her fiance, threatening that she'd break off their marriage agreement if he did something like that again.

"But you have to eat and regain your strength, Tsuna." Vongola Primo frowned worriedly. "I'm sure it has been a while since you've eaten a proper meal."

Tsuna didn't want to disappoint Primo, but it was hard not to think the soup resembled blood after seeing two fake corpses. He was about to say as much, however, his ancestor had other ideas and used the opportunity to shove a spoonful of tomato soup in his mouth. The young boss was unsurprisingly startled, which was why most of the red liquid landed on his cheeks instead. Embarrassed, he tried to wipe it away, but of course, he only made it worse.

"Tsuna is so adorable when he's concentrated." Elena giggled behind her hand. "You sure got lucky, Primo."

"I know right?" Vongola Primo smiled brilliantly in response, helping his son clean his mouth with a napkin. "There is something about him that makes you want to protect and take care of him."

In a way, Tsuna felt like he could somehow understand Reborn a little bit better now. It was absolutely humiliating to be treated like a helpless child while your mental age was actually in the upper teens or older. Judging by the looks on his guardian's faces, they would never let him forget this moment either.

Well, at least they were distracted enough to stop fighting each other, so the rest of the dinner passed by relatively peacefully with the occasional fit of laughter and bits of conversation. If Tsuna could, he'd love to take a long nap afterwards, but unfortunately he didn't have that luxury. They had to plan their escape after all.

『ボンゴレファミリー』

A warm evening bathed the Vongola estate in the glow of the setting sun while the cicadas began to sing their songs, hidden in the lush green bushes of the interior gardens. Normally, that would mean bed time for all children below the age of ten in regular households, but the first generation of Vongola had yet to familiarize themselves with such unwritten rules of parenting, which is why they left their children to play in the yard under the watchful eyes of their servants while they held a meeting.

Tsuna welcomed their decision since he had been failing to come up with an excuse to be alone with his guardians in order to discuss escape strategies.

He wasn't really worried about the older generation's meeting, suspecting that they would most likely be talking about the experiments they planned on conducting as well as Lampo's lighting flames and how to deal with the damages they caused. G would probably rightly insist that they were dangerous and shouldn't be trusted, which Daemon would support, but their arguments would be shot down by Elena and Primo.

"Oi, Sawada. I got Hibari, so now we're all here." Ryohei had somehow managed to find Alaude's section of the mansion and had pestered the small cloud guardian into meeting up with them. Although, it looked more like Hibari was trying to escape from the loud sun guardian, since he was the one walking in front, and had stumbled upon their gathering by accident. "We can begin our extremely secret meeting now, right?"

"It's not gonna stay a secret if you keep shouting, lawn head." Gokudera yelled, jabbing a thumb in the direction of the servants. "You're lucky they don't speak Japanese."

"Ahaha we don't know that, Gokudera. After all, Asari-san has been living here for a while," Yamamoto said with a hesitant laugh. "And aren't you being kinda loud as well?"

Another one-sided argument broke out between his two closest friends while Tsuna sighed in exasperation and shot the servants a wary glance. They appeared to be minding their own business, though he could tell they were still keeping a trained eye on them, but it didn't look like they could actually eavesdrop on their conversation from the distance.

"What are we going to do to the extreme, Sawada?" Surprisingly, his sun guardian was the first to turn serious and let the happy-go-lucky pretense fall from his face. Ryohei may be loud and cheerful, but he was still a year older than most of them, and seeing him unconsciously scratching his neck in confusion and unease put his on nerves on edge. "I don't think Uncle Knuckle and the others mean any harm, but I'm not sure how staying here will help us find the Pesca Family."

The young boss had felt the same way from the start. He just couldn't imagine that Vongola Primo would harm innocent children and experiment on them. When they were looking at the memories left behind by the first generation during their conflict with the Shimon Family, Tsuna had gotten nothing but an impression of kindness and compassion from their ancestors. It was one of the reasons why he began looking up to the first generation boss.

"It doesn't matter what you think, lawn head, because as long as there is just a minor threat to Juudaime, we can't take the risk. Besides, this entire playing house game is idiotic and annoying." Gokudera muttered and crossed his arms over his chest. "Our main objective is to find the Pesca Family and prevent them from destroying our future. If they change the past too much, it could bust our space-time axis into tiny little pieces and like hell I'm gonna let that happen."

Tsuna was proud of Gokudera for thinking about helping other people, but the blunt way in which he put their situation into words only increased his anxiety.

"I extremely don't understand what you're trying to say," the boxer yelled angrily, raising his fists. "Stop confusing me, octopus head!"

Patience running through his fingers, Gokudera attempted to launch an attack at the sun guardian, but Yamamoto quickly stepped in and tackled the silver-haired child to the ground. Apparently the rain guardian had become excellent at predicting his violent outbursts. "Maa, maa Gokudera. Don't blame it on Onii-san. Everyone is on edge and frustrated about our situation at the moment. You're not the only one."

Gokudera sneered, but didn't say anything else.

"E-everyone … would you mind listening to me for j-just a moment?" Tsuna cleared his throat to get their attention and quickly felt their hopeful and expectant gazes bore into his skull. "I don't know what kind of experiments Primo's family is planning and they haven't mentioned them again, but I also don't think they actually mean any harm. Nevertheless, I know how difficult this must be for all of you, especially Mukuro and Chrome since they have to deal with Daemon Spade directly. I wish— "

"Kufufu, it's not like I can't handle that man." Mukuro snickered and rolled his eyes when Tsuna sent him a doubtful look. "The way he is right now, he wouldn't even last five minutes against me. I'm not sure if you've noticed, but we've ended up in a time where the first generation hasn't fully developed their potential power yet. It makes sense for the Pesca Family to pick a time where Vongola is an easier target."

"How do you know they would pick a time like this?" Gokudera challenged, brushing dust from his shirt. "They managed to overwhelm the Vindice and now they have the power of the pacifiers as well. No matter how strong the first generation was at some point, it should be a walk in the park to take them out."

"You're quite soft for someone working in the mafia," Mukuro countered. "Unfortunately, our opponents aren't as simple minded as you. For a group of people bent on revenge, their modus operandi seems quite calculated and void of emotions that would distract from their goals. Otherwise, they'd have attempted to attack the Vindice by themselves, yet they went for the path that had the highest rate of success, the least danger to themselves and the highest reward by sending other families in their stead. It's impressive, really."

"There is nothing impressive about sending people to their death," Lambo added in a quiet voice. "So you're saying that if their goal is to kill the first family, then they'd choose a plan where they're super duper likely to win. Yare, yare … it looks like you understand them quite well."

"Kufufu … because it's what I would do if I were in their position."

Tsuna didn't doubt that Mukuro was beneath such underhanded tactics, which was why he was glad that the illusionist was on their side for now. "About Daemon—"

"He is easy to manipulate through his fiance," Mukuro interrupted, "I wouldn't waste to much though on him as long as she's alive."

"Alright, I'll leave him to you then." Tsuna conceded, mulling over his mist guardian's earlier observation. An uneasy feeling that the first generation wasn't as strong as he had imagined them to be had been nagging at the back of his mind, but he had disregarded it, thinking that it was because their gear had been strengthened with the Mare rings. However, when they said that Lambo's flame was purer than Lampo's, he had started to worry. "H-Hibari-san? What d-do you think about the first generation? A-are they strong in your eyes?"

At first, Tsuna expected his cloud guardian to simply ignore his question, so he was surprised to find him deep in thought.

"Hm." Hibari hummed, frowning in disappointment. "They're all herbivores ... even that man who used to be strong. He's weak in comparison to when we met in Namimori for the first time."

The young boss assumed his cloud guardian was talking about Alaude, whose spirit he had met during the ring trials. Due to his vast fighting experience, Hibari was reliable when it came to judging people's strength, so Tsuna took this as confirmation of Mukuro's theory and his own intuition. Nevertheless, this development was far from ideal because if the first Vongola family was truly weaker than the wills they left inside the rings, they'd be in a lot more danger than he previously thought.

Damn. This was so difficult. What should he do?!

"Everyone … I want your opinion," Tsuna requested calmly, despite his internal panic attack. "Do you think we should stay here to protect them and wait until the Pesca Family comes to us … or do you think we should leave to find the Pesca Family and take them out first?"

"Yare, yare. That's a difficult decision to make," Lambo said, nonchalantly shrugging his shoulders. "Even though he has been mean to me, I would like to protect Brocolli-nii-san and his friends. The problem is that it might be difficult to gather information while we're children."

"Um … we also can't be sure that we are able to defend them in our current state," Chrome added shyly. "It's not that I doubt Mukuro-sama or Boss, but we don't know enough about the enemy."

"Well said, Chrome." Mukuro praised and patted her head. "I'm against staying in this place by the way and will leave no matter what you decide, Tsunayoshi-kun. My goal was to eradicate another mafia family, not protect one."

"Tch, who needs your help anyways?" Gokudera muttered. "Go to hell for all I care."

"Well, I don't care either way. Both sides have advantages and disadvantages," Yamamoto said with a cheerful smile that lightened the serious atmosphere. "I'll follow your decision, Tsuna."

"That's my line, baseball idiot." Gokudera said with a glare, before he turned to his boss with an urgent look. "Juudaime, I'm a failure as a right-hand man for not telling you about this before, but I've been wondering whether our time travel to the past has created special conditions for the world. It's just a theory for now, but I'm pretty sure the situation is similar to when we traveled to the future. That's why I'm in favor of finding the Pesca Family as soon as possible."

Chrome, Lambo, Yamamoto and Ryohei looked at the storm guardian in bewilderment. Mukuro, who sighed in annoyance, and Hibari, who closed his eyes with a frown, seemed to know what he was getting at. Meanwhile, Tsuna had a vague idea, but he was nowhere near as smart as Gokudera, so he was better off making sure.

"What do you mean, Gokudera-kun?"

"When we arrived in the future, the Vongola rings were destroyed and the pacifiers were inactive, causing the environmental conditions to change," he explained eagerly. "It created Non-Trinisette radiation which was harmful to Arcobaleno and changed the planet itself. Right now, the presence of the Pesca Family and us has created an unknown situation where more than the original three sets are active. It would be logical to assume that this Over-Trinisette radition could cause environmental damage or other unknown effects as well."

Was this why they haven't attacked the first family yet? Were they wary of unknown variables? Maybe knowing x was useful after all, Tsuna thought.

"I extremely understand!" Ryohei yelled to everyone's surprise, but was quickly shut down by a tonfa to the back of his head. However, the sun guardian was pretty resistant to Hibari's hits and simply laughed the pain off. "So the future was dangerous to the extreme and the past is like the future, so it's dangerous, too. Gaaaah! I just extremely confused myself!"

"C-can somebody dumb it down for him?" Tsuna pleaded, wishing the boxer would at least understand the basic concept.

"Don't worry Big Onii-san, Lambo-sama will explain everything. It means the longer we stay in the past, the more dangerous it will be for Broccoli-nii-san and the rest. Maybe it's for the best if we don't stay here after all." Lambo said to Ryohei, before rubbing the sleepiness out of his eyes. "Yare, yare. Everything is a big mess, just thinking about it makes me tired."

Tsuna could see how exhausting the recent events must've been for Adult Lambo. After all, they had been through a lot in their first two days and he had traveled through time twice in a row. It was a miracle that the lightning guardian didn't get brain damage from that, though it would be hard to tell since the kid had never been quite sane anyways.

"It's better to get rid of this herbivore family quickly," Hibari suddenly threw his opinion into the round. "Though I don't see why I should cooperate with you people, being absent from class without an excuse for long periods is against Namimori's school rules. As the head of the disciplinary committee I will make sure to bring you back to school in order to bite you to death."

While the young boss felt a chill run down his spine at the prospect of punishment from his cloud guardian, it was also reassuring to know that Hibari was on their side. Moreover, if you read between the lines, you could tell that the prefect care for them and first generation Vongola family in his own way. First and foremost, Hibari guarded the school rules and enjoyed fighting strong people, but he had learned to protect the innocent as well in the last few years.

"Kufufu. I find your social awkwardness rather tragic, Hibari Kyoya."

Stop talking as though you're a social butterfly, Tsuna muttered in his mind, and stop provoking Hibari-san please.

It had been unusual that the peace between his two most violent guardians had lasted for so long, so Tsuna wasn't surprised to find them at each other's throats only a millisecond later. Metal clashed against metal, disturbing their otherwise civil meeting and the young boss felt a massive headache coming on.

Couldn't they have waited until after they made their decision to try and kill each other?

"Anyways, th-thank you for your opinions. I think I've made up m-my mind," Tsuna said, addressing the rest of the guardians while ignoring the display of needless violence behind him. One way or another, he was sure they would still hear the gist of the plan over the noise of the fight. "W-we will only create trouble for Primo's family if we stay here, so w-we should try to escape tonight when they are a-asleep. Asari-san told us about the secret passage in his garden that leads outside, so I think we can use that to escape."

To be honest, Tsuna felt kinda bad for using the information the first rain guardian had told them in secret, probably in order to ensure their safety in case of emergency, against them, but it was the best route he could think of. The rest of the estate was heavily guarded and they hadn't had the time to figure out the patrol patterns yet.

"Do you know where his garden is, Boss?" Chrome asked quietly. "Also, where should we meet up?"

"It's in the east wing, between the main building and the innermost wall." Yamamoto supplied. "Asari-san told me the directions to that section of the mansion earlier, so I wouldn't get lost hahaha."

"Look at you being useful for once, baseball idiot." Gokudera smirked. "I'm assuming they haven't made rooms for us yet, judging how they didn't even prepare damn seats for us at dinner, so we'll probably be spread across the mansion. It's best if we meet at the center garden and head towards the east wing together."

"A-alright, we'll do it like that." Tsuna confirmed, grateful for the support of his friends. "Please be careful tonight, everyone."

"It's going to be EXTREME!" Ryohei shouted excitedly, startling some of the servants in the distance. "I'm fired up!"

"Shut up, you idiot." Gokudera scolded the sun guardian while pinching the bridge of his nose. "You're going to wake the entire city tonight if you keep being that loud. I swear you're going to sabotage our entire mission."

"If we had duct tape, we could tape his mouth shut." Lambo suggested in an attempt to be helpful. "Otherwise, the only way I can think of is knocking him out and kidnapping him."

"Hahaha you have some good ideas, kid." Yamamoto complimented, making the lightning guardian strike a proud pose. "Though kidnapping him is a lot of extra work and it might take too long."

Tsuna felt his left eyebrow twitch. What was wrong with his guardians? Why were they talking about illegal acts like kidnapping so casually? Has this become the new norm to them? It was scary to think what they'd be like once they've grown up.

"Ev-everyone, you can't do that." Tsuna protested weakly, before turning to Ryohei. "Think of it as playing ninja, onii-san. The person who is the most quiet wins to the e-extreme."

"Oooooh why didn't you say that from the start, Sawada?!" Ryohei laughed boisterously and gave him a friendly but painful pat on the back. "That's easy. I'm gonna win to the extreme. All of you better prepare yourselves for the best boxing ninja in the entire world!"

The young boss wasn't sure whether his sun guardian actually understood anything, but he didn't have time to make sure since in that exact moment, the first generation had returned from their important meeting. Servants bowed out of the way while the group of dashing young adults made their way towards them in an almost regal manner. Vongola Primo smiled at them, mantle billowing behind him in the breeze, while G stopped to make light conversation, no doubt asking whether they overheard something suspicious.

"Looks like Alaude and Daemon will have their hands full," Primo said to Elena with a light laugh, watching Mukuro and Hibari trade another blow. "We've only been gone for an hour and they're already fighting. They sure are troublemakers."

"They're already like their fathers," Elena lamented. "At least, my cute Chrome doesn't seem to enjoy fighting with others."

It took a while, but Alaude managed to separate the two fighting maniacs after a couple of failed attempts and his last was probably only successful because the young cloud and mist guardians were both more tired than they wanted to let on. With one last hateful glare towards Mukuro, Hibari excused himself from the crowd and followed the first cloud guardian to his quarters.

Soon after, the rest of them got picked up by their respective parents and were carried off to different directions, but not before exchanging a round of meaningful glances.

Tsuna still wasn't fond of being carried and found the experience somewhat humiliating, but didn't have the energy to protest. He was starting to feel rather drowsy, the sleepiness was starting to win the battle, so he simply accepted his fate for now and enjoyed the warmth Primo provided. His temporary father seemed to be in a rather good mood, humming comfortably while he was walking up the grand staircase in the main hall.

"Did you have fun while we were in a meeting, Tsuna?" Primo asked while he opened the door to his private room. "I know the mansion is quite boring at the moment, but we'll definitely get you some toys in the future."

"A-ah … um … n-no, you don't need to do t-that." Tsuna stuttered awkwardly. "I … I mean we're fine playing without toys. There are many games y-you can play where you don't need anything … um … like playing ninja."

"Is that what Mukuro and Kyoya were playing earlier?" Vongola Primo asked curiously.

"No," he admitted, "they just don't get along very well."

"I figured. Well, maybe they'll become friends if they get used to each other." Primo nodded thoughtfully to himself while Tsuna very much doubted they would ever be anything less than mortal enemies, no matter how much time they spend in the other's presence. At least, the two were a little less terrifying as children. "Anyways, you don't need to be so humble, Tsuna. Of course, we're all going to provide everything you need, be it toys or clothes or food. After all, we're family now."

Guilt weighted on his chest at his ancestor's words. It has only been a day since he got to know Primo in the flesh, but the young boss already felt like they had a connection. Maybe it was because they were actually related? He didn't want to disappoint his ancestor and honestly, Tsuna wouldn't have minded staying with the first generation family if he could, but they couldn't waste time playing house.

"Unfortunately, you'll have to sleep on my couch tonight." Primo smiled apologetically at him, setting him down on a soft couch. "We will prepare a few rooms for you with your own beds tomorrow."

Tsuna wanted to reply that it was no problem and that he would sleep anywhere, but he was too tired to speak and only managed to mumble something unintelligible, which made the blonde man chuckle. Maybe being in the body of a child made you feel like one as well. He should definitely ask Reborn once they got back to the present.

"Thank you for taking care of my friends," Tsuna managed to say, fighting sleep while Primo pulled a blanket over him.

The words were true to his heart and he'd have regretted leaving before properly expressing his gratitude. No matter what kinds of experiments they had planned or what other reasons they had for taking in a group of orphans, the first generation family had been kind and welcoming.

"You're welcome, Tsuna." Primo said, patting his hair with a warm hand. "Good night and sweet dreams."

『ボンゴレファミリー』

Giotto woke with a start in the middle of the night, nose filled with a familiar scent that made his intuition flare up. It was smoke. Had a fire broken out in the mansion by accident or were they under attack? On instinct, he gazed towards the couch to make sure his newly adopted son was alright, only to find a crumpled blanket and cushions. A sudden rush of panic woke the rest of his body up, making him bolt out of bed.

Was Tsuna a sleepwalker … or did he get up to get a glass of water … or what if he was kidnapped?!

However, Giotto was positive that nobody could leave or enter his room without him noticing. Sure, he had always been a heavy sleeper, but his intuition never failed to shake him out of his dreams when danger approached, so Tsuna must've left out of his own volition … right? Well, he couldn't be sure and that's what made him anxious.

The first Vongola boss tried to come up with reasons why his adorable son would attempt to escape in the middle of the night and came up empty handed. It was a lot more likely that he had needed to go to the restroom or something and got lost on the way. Then, either an accident happened or an enemy attacked, which is why it smelled like smoke.

Yeah, that must've been what happened.

An image of the sleepy child with his messy brown hair sticking up in every direction popped into his mind, making him even more worried than he already was. It had only been a day since he met Tsuna, but he already felt like a part of his family. Whoever dared to harm his family would pay the price, Giotto clenched his hands into fists, and he wouldn't forgive them.

With that thought in mind, he bolted out of his room and followed the scent of smoke, which came from the direction of the east wing.

On his way, he was joined by his guardians who had also woken up to find their charges missing, though not all of them were as worried as he was, with the exception of Knuckle who punched a wall and prayed to God that Ryohei was save. G was mostly angry, blaming Hayato for getting kidnapped, while Asari had turned cautious of potential enemies, drawing one of his swords in preparation. Lampo was actually about to fall asleep while standing and Alaude trailed behind them, keeping his distance. Daemon appeared to be the only one who was quite happy with this development, which prompted Elena to scold him for his lack of concern.

"How did an enemy get into the mansion without being noticed be the guards?" Giotto asked his guardians incredulously, picking up his pace. "We've been attacked before, but they've never managed to get this far without someone reporting to us."

"I can only imagine that the culprits overheard me telling the kids about the secret passage in my garden ..." Asari trailed off, intimidated by the angry aura surrounding his boss. "They must've had a rough time here and since most of them are Japanese, I thought spending time in a place that resembles their homeland would cheer them up. Moreover, I thought it was good if they knew a way out in case of emergency, de gozaru."

"I'm not angry at you, I'm angry at the ones responsible for harming these children." Giotto clarified, though there was also a part that was angry at himself for failing to protect them. "It was very kind of you to think of that, Asari. At least, we have an idea where to start looking for answers."

"Are we sure it's an enemy attack from outside, Primo?" G played devil's advocate, shouldering his quiver. "Word spreads fast, but not that fast. Only a handful of people know that we've brought in those children, so it's a little early for a kidnapping attempt. Maybe the kids helped the attackers enter from the inside."

"Hold on, G, aren't you jumping to conclusions now?" Knuckle said with a frown. "We won't know what's going on until we find whoever is behind this and even then, it might've been an accident or a misunderstanding."

"Well, the smoke is coming from the Japanese garden, so the brats are probably there." Lampo commented after a big yawn. "Yare, yare. I really can't even get a proper beauty sleep in this house. It's all that dirty brat's fault."

After a minute or two, they finally arrived at the mostly unoccupied east wing, which was bustling with a flurry of activity. Servants were running around the place with panicked expressions while the guards were evacuating the area with somewhat helpless looks on their faces. Normally, they should've been defending the mansion and attacking any uninvited guests, so why didn't they?

Giotto got his answer once they exited the main building and entered the Japanese garden. At first, everything appeared to be in order, apart from the smoke that hung in the air, but as they got closer to the source, they froze mid run and could only gape at the scene in front of then.

"Oh, extreme lord, tell me this didn't happen to the maximum." Knuckle was the first to find his voice, folding his hands into a prayer position. "May this be an illusion or merely a bad dream."

It was widely known that Asari Ugetsu, the first rain guardian of Vongola, had a passion for many different hobbies, among which were playing the flute or the art of sword fighting. However, only few people were aware that he also possessed a green thumb as he took pleasure in tending to the various gardens at the mansion.

Asari was unusually proud of his gardening prowess and had been especially excited when Giotto allowed him to have his personal garden, which he had modeled after his own garden in his home country. Several neat gravel paths lead to medium-sized pond that was inhabited by a swarm of goldfish and was framed by large smooth rocks. A small wooden bridge made crossing over the water to a small island possible, on which his pride and joy, a large cherry-blossom tree that was in full-bloom, looked over the rest of the garden.

"HIEEE! How did this happen?!" Tsuna shrieked and Giotto let out a relieved sigh at his son's desperate cry. At least, they made it in time and he was still alive. "And why … of all the trees he could choose … did Uncle Asari have to plant sakura?"

Out of the corner of his eyes, Giotto saw Asari inspect the state his garden was in with quiet anger. There were a bunch of holes in the ground, stones were scattered in the foliage and the previously neat gravel paths were almost unrecognizable. Even a few of his beloved goldfish had died, drifting lifelessly on top of the pond's surface, however, his favorite tree was probably the worst off. All of the smoke that had spread through the mansion made sense now.

Asari's prized cherry-blossom tree was on fire and it looked like half of it has already burned down to charcoal while its soft petals were floating in the air mixed with errand sparks of the fire.

Mukuro and Kyoya appeared in their field of vision first, though they didn't appear to notice their presence since they were at each other's necks yet again. However, this time Kyoya seemed particularly irritated, resembling Alaude during his worst mood swings. Meanwhile, Takeshi and Tsuna appeared from behind the tree, rushing towards the pond in a desperate attempt to extinguish the burning tree, but since they didn't have any buckets, all they could do was helplessly stare at the water.

On the other hand, Hayato didn't seem too concerned about the fire as he was busy yelling at a crying Lambo to shut up and stop playing with the dead fish. The weirdest one of them was Ryohei though, who was doing sit-ups in the background as though he though they were doing some kind of extreme training while wearing some kind of cloth over his mouth.

"Tsuna, what happened here?" Giotto, ignoring the chaos in front of him, asked while attempting to find the intruders. He raised an eyebrow at his son when he saw none. "Why are all of you here in the middle of the night … and why is Asari's tree burning?"

"U-um … w-we can e-explain, P-papa." Tsuna stuttered nervously, guiltily averting his eyes. "... I'm s-sorry."

Giotto sighed and rubbed his temples, feeling a headache coming on. Maybe G was right, those children were really more troublesome than he thought.

To Be Continued ...

Hahahaha it would be an honor if you left a review, de gozaru.
