Chapter 12: The Allied Forces

"Hey Mirajane-san, you said earlier about Naruto hunts the Dark Ones, what does that mean exactly."

"We are a part of the Legal Guild Systems. Meaning the council has acknowledged our existence and monitors our activities. We have to maintain our own alliance with the Legal Guild Systems. Then there are those who operate behind in the shadows of the world. They deal in the worse kind of trafficking there is. They are general criminals who commit crimes. You met one of the guilds. Eisenwald is a dark guild and one that's associated with the Balam Alliance."

"The Balam Alliance?" Lucy said.

"Reedus, can you draw all the known dark guilds on the map." Mirajane asks.

"Oi." Reedus replies as he grabs his Light Pen and begins to write in the air.

"The Balam Alliance, is run by three of the most powerful dark guilds there are. Oración Seis, Grimoire Heart and the dark guild known as Tartarus. They are the most powerful Dark Guilds that exist and are the three main leaders of the Balam Alliance." Mirajane explains.

"What's the Balam Alliance?"

"Like our Guild League Alliance which prevents any fighting between guilds, the Balam Alliance prevents any fighting between the Dark Guilds while under their banner." Mirajane says.

"No matter how you look at it, that's a lot of Dark Guilds."

Erza said.

"Naruto is response for taking out more than half the Dark Guilds on here."

"More than half?!" Lucy said in shock.

"Yeah, he's really strong and normally works as the council's enforcer."

"Why is there so many?"

"Because lately, it seems like their activities has increased. It part of our job as a legal guild to strength the bonds between all legal guilds."

"So the ones in the big circle make up the Balam Alliance?" Gray said.

"Juvia knows. The top three guilds of the Balam Alliance are Oración Seis, Grimoire Heart, and Tartarus. The most powerful dark guilds are the rulers of the Balam Alliance. Each of them rules over a number of associated guilds, they also control the world of the dark guilds. Then there are those who act independently from the rest, Raven's Tail."

"What happens if they start seeking for revenge?"

"Don't worry about it! There's nothing to fear!" Wakaba said. "From the rumors I've heard, Oración Seis only got six members."

"Even with six members, they are a part of the strongest dark guild organization there is." Mirajane said in a serious tone.

"About Oración Seis, we're going to attack them." The master said as he walks in.

Silence fell throughout the hall.

"Welcome back, Master." Mirajane said causing everyone to fall over. "How was the regular guild meeting?"

"Way to miss a point." Lucy said.

"Master, what are you talking about?"

"At the regular meeting the other day, we discussed the recent activity by Oración Seis. Their actions are not something we can simply ignore. We have decided that the strongest guilds of the Legal Guild Leagues will fight them."

"You just had to pull the short straw again, gramps?" Gray said.

"Fairy Tail will take on that role, Juvia thinks."

"No, the enemy is too powerful for that. Any action as a individual guild could come back to bite us. If it were only us, the Balam Alliance could only retaliate against us endangering everyone in the city. It's why we've formed an alliance of our own."

"An alliance?" Everyone said.

"Fairy Tail with Blue Pegasus, Lamia Scale and Cait Shelter. These four guild masters have agreed to send out their best guild members to strike back at Oración Seis."

"But we can handle it by ourselves no problem." Natsu said.

"Baka, the master is thinking of the consequences." Erza said hitting Natsu on the head.

"Naruto, I'm making you team captain of the Fairy Tail Alliance Squad. You will take, Erza… Natsu… Gray… and Lucy… with you to eliminate the enemy."

"Wouldn't it be better if I went by myself gramps? Naruto said.

"Normally I would just send you… however… I fear that if you get in trouble I would feel much safer if you had some back up. This is not a light weight guild you can push around. Some of these members could be as strong as Jose, Laxus and even Jellal." The Master said.

"I understand master." Naruto said.

Naruto said nothing on the ride over to Master Bob's Hide Away mansion. If anything, he pulled out his book once again and began to read. He must of read this book a hundred times, but he kept reading it. Because it was the only memento he had left of his Master Jiraiya and the shinobi world.

"Why do I have a feeling like something really bad is going to happen? And why am I participating in this again?" Lucy said.

"It's not a picnic for me either you know. Stop complaining." Gray said.

"The master chose us for a reason. Shouldn't we be happy that he's entrusting us with this duty?" Erza said.

"But when it comes to the fighting, there's Juvia and Gajeel." Lucy said.

"But they had other jobs to do." Happy said.

"Are… we… there… yet?" Natsu said. He didn't look to good.

"In the end it's the usual gang that causes the trouble."

"Don't you think that's for the best? This is the first time teaming up with other guilds. The first thing that's important is forming better ties with other guilds."

"I can see it." Happy suddenly said. "It's the meeting place."

Naruto got out of the wagon and looks around. There was no one around, realizing the party was inside.

Naruto walks inside to see no one was around.

"No one is here." Erza said as she walks inside.

"Welcome," A trio of voices said.

"Awe, it's Erza-san."

"Eve Tearm, Ren Akatsuki… and Hibiki Lates?" Lucy said with hearts in her eyes.

"What an unexpected reunion… my honey." Another voice said as a short man walk down the stairs.

"Ichiya-san!" Erza said shaking in her boots; literally.

"So you're Ichiya-san's girlfriend. How rude of us, we apologize." The trio said.

"I deny it with everything I have." Erza said pointing a finger at Ichiya.

"She has an excellent parfum, as always." Ichiya said as he appears behind Erza and gives a couple of sniffs.

"He's freaking me out you know." Lucy said.

"Sorry about that, I can't handle him either." Erza said.

"Care to go away from here and spend some time alone, my honey?"

"Stay away from me!"

Ichiya flew towards the door where he was suddenly turned into a block of ice.

"Men."

"This quiet the greeting, you all consider yourself Lamia Scale's equals?" Lyon Vastia said.

"Lyon!" Gray said.

"Gray?"

"So you went a joined a guild?" Natsu said.

It took Natsu a moment to recognize the tension and he took a battle stance with Gray who look ready for a fight as did Lyon and Sherry who appeared by Lyon's side.

"Enough of this." A new voice said.

"Jura-san."

"We are here to form an alliance against Oración Seis! We're not here to fight amongst ourselves." Jura said.

"He's the ace of Lamia Scale… Gan Tetsu no Jura" Hibiki said.

"Jura-dono, it's good to see you again." Naruto said as he walks forward and shakes the taller man's hand.

"Naruto… no I see. Makarov-dono would of course send you… the expect in hunting Dark Guilds."

"So Fairy Tail sent five people, Blue Pegasus sends out four… Lamia Scale only needs three. That's what love is." Sherry said.

"Then all there is to do is wait for the people from Caitshelter."

"People? I've heard they're only sending one person."

"They're only sending one person for a mission as dangerous as this?" Gray said.

At that moment everyone's attention was brought to the door way where a small girl apparently tripped.

"Um," She says as she gets up. "I'm sorry I'm late. I'm from Caitshelter, Wendy Marvel. Nice too meet everyone."

"With this, the four guilds have gathered." Jura said.

"Yeah, we should continue on with the mission." Naruto said.

"You're just going to continue this as it is?" Gray said.

"But Jura-sama, sending a little girl on a dangerous mission is quiet foolish if you think about it. What is Caitshelter thinking?" Sherry said.

"She's not alone, Miss Too-Much-Makeup!" A voice said. Everyone turn to see a talking cat walking towards them.

"Sharuru, you came with me?" Wendy says.

"Of course! I'd be far too worried with you going alone." Sharuru said.

"Ano, I can't fight at all. But I can use a lot of magic that can help support everyone. So… so please don't leave me out!" Wendy said in a small voice.

'She doesn't have a lot of confidence in herself.'

"It's because you're always looking so weak-kneed that people look down on you!" Shararu said.

"Her magic will be useful to us." Naruto said.

"Her parfum is not something you smell every day."

"So you both notice as well. Her magical power is something different than ours. Erza also seems to have notice." Jura said.

"Let's begin, who has the information on Oración Seis?" Naruto said.

"I got it." Hibiki said as he activated his archive magic. "These are videos we manage to obtain of the group known as Oración Seis. First, is the wizard who uses poisonous snakes… codename: Cobra."

"He's got slanted eyes." Natsu said.

"You got the same eyes." Gray and Lyon said.

"We don't have much information on this wizard, but we believe his code name gives away his magic. Racer; the one who uses speed magic."

"I think this is a case of hate at first sight." Gray said.

"I agree." Lyon replies.

"He's the wizard that can even wipe out an entire military unit for the right price and always fights for a profit. Hot Eye of Heavenly Eye."

"Despicable." Jura said.

"The female wizard who is said to be able to peer into your heart… codename: Angel."

"I don't think I'll do well against her." Lucy said.

"We don't know much about this guy, but he's codename is Midnight."

"Then there is the mastermind of Oración Seis, codename: Brain. We know each and every one of them has enough magical abilities and power to destroy an entire guild. That's why we'll use numbers to our advantage." Hibiki says as he closes his achieve.

"Ano, I think it might be best if you didn't count me." Lucy said as she was showing signs of fear.

"I'm also not good at fighting." Wendy said.

"If we get into battle, do not fight alone under any circumstances! Make sure to have at least two of us for every one of them we face!" Jura said.

"Okay, I'm getting all fired up!" Natsu said. "I'll take all six of them on at once!" Natsu screams as he leaves the building.

"Wait, Natsu!" Lucy cries out to no avail.

"Let's go after the idiot." Naruto said as he took off.
