Night fell and the sisters went to sleep. Xavier and Patience were upstairs while the boys slept in Paige's old room and Phoebe's old room. Xavier and Patience were still awake, they were talking while they waited for the power to be put into Chris.

"When we get home, I'm going to take a nice hot bath and we're going to just sit there and soak away the troubles." Patience said.

Xavier smiled, his arm was wrapped around her and his other hand was behind his head. As he laughed at her, she looked up at him and said,

"I'm serious."

"I know you are that's why I laughed."

"Whatever." she said with a little laugh.

The plan was for her to take Zion, after that Xavier would go back to the future, they were to wait about an hour and then return to their future. Once they got to the Underworld they would be disguised as hybrids. It wouldn't take them long to get noticed especially since Nero knew every hybrid under his command. Xavier would then make a distraction so that the siblings could recite the spell. It never crossed Patience's mind that Xavier might have to be close to Nero in order to perform the distraction. She believed he was going to shimmer out so that she could throw the potion at Nero. It affected all hybrids she was sure he would get out of the way. Xavier instructed Chris to inform Patience that she was pregnant at the right time after he died. That is if she didn't find out herself by then. Chris didn't feel comfortable saying something like that to her but he told him he would. Xavier suddenly sat up and said,

"Oh yeah, I meant to give you this."

Patience lifted her head and rested it on her hand as she lay on the floor. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a black box. He handed it to her and she smiled; she went to open it before his hand covered hers to stop her.

"What?" She asked.

"You can't open it yet." he said.

"Well when can I open it?" she asked.

Xavier smiled and kissed her, tenderly. She smiled and laughed through the kiss, when he pulled away from her she bit her bottom lip a little marveling at the sensation. Xavier smiled at her and said,

"When we get back home, after all this is done I want you to open it and don't you dare open it before."

"Oh is that a command?" she said playfully.

"More like a strongly worded request."

Patience laughed and they kissed again, Xavier pulled back suddenly to check his watch and saw that it was midnight already. Patience suddenly became serious, it was time to take care of business and put pleasure behind them. Xavier stood up and helped her up in the process, it was getting closer to his end and he knew it. His heart sort of closed, it pained him but he couldn't become weak now. Patience and Xavier made their way downstairs and woke up Chris and Wyatt. They then woke up Piper and Leo to tell them they were saying the spell and they were getting ready to leave. Piper and Leo followed them into the nursery,

"How can we be sure they're not watching?" Piper asked.

"We can't be but we still have to do it." Patience said.

Leo wrapped his arm around Piper,

"It's going to be okay."

"Yeah I know, it's just I worry it's my thing."

Patience smiled, that was the understatement of the year. She felt the need to hug her mother but she didn't move towards her. She walked over to the crib and picked up the younger version of her brother and walked over to Xavier's side. Piper looked to him and saw that she really did love him, she wasn't comfortable with it but she thought about how Cole loved Phoebe. He wouldn't hurt her no matter what but that didn't mean Xavier wasn't capable of hurting others around her and that's what she was afraid of the most.

"You ready?" Patience said to her brothers.

They nodded at her and Xavier stepped over to stand by Leo. The brothers recited the spell in some ancient old language, it sounded something like the spell used to contain the hollow. The brothers, Xavier, Piper and Leo all watched as Chris lost Zion and it was put into Patience. However the power that was in the younger Chris went into Piper.

"Wait what, what just happened?" Piper said looking down at her stomach.

"Uh, well since the power no longer belongs to little Chris it was probably switched to you so once Patience is born the power will go to her." Wyatt explained.

Even he looked confused at the explanation, time travel stuff always gave them a headache.

"So when Zion from our Chris left him and went into me it was as though Zion never belonged to him in the first place?" Patience said.

"Okay let's stop because my head hurts already." Piper said.

Leo laughed,

"So what next." he asked.

"Next," Chris turned to Xavier,

"Next, Xavier returns to the future to give Nero a false since of security. We wait an hour and then return with him." Chris said.

"Well what about us?" Piper said.

"You don't worry anymore, the Hybrids won't be after Chris anymore. Zion will be given back to the elders in order to find a safer place for it and you guys continue on with your lives; we'll handle the rest." Patience said.

"Didn't we just establish that I'm the one that worries?" Piper said.

"Well why don't you worry about the marble Chris swallows." Patience said.

Chris gave her a look that said 'thanks a lot', Patience just giggled while Piper said,

"Marble, what marble?"

Patience turned to her husband and said,

"You ready?"

Xavier nodded and turned around so that he could walk out the door. Patience followed behind with Chris and Wyatt following her as well.

"Don't worry mom we'll take care of her and forget about the marble." Wyatt said.

Leo laughed knowing she wouldn't forget about the marble for a while. Leo pulled Piper into their bedroom and sat her down to keep her from worrying. Patience met Xavier at the top of the stairs with the spell in hand.

"Be careful." she said.

"No promises." he answered with a smile.

She rolled her eyes and she stood with her brothers as they said,

"From here to there, now and then send this demon to his den. Where he'll heed his masters call waiting in the Hybrids hall."

A vortex opened up behind him and Xavier looked back at his darling wife and her brothers. He gave them a two fingered salute as he walked through the little vortex. Patience began to feel worried, now that he was gone and out of her sight she had nothing to do but worry. Now she understood where she got that from, she acted like Phoebe almost all the time but she had her mother's trait when it came to worrying about the people she loved. Patience went to get Piper and Leo where they hugged each other goodbye. Patience told them to tell Phoebe and Paige they said goodbye as well and they turned around reciting their spell,

"From Halliwell manor to Halliwell names we use our powers to open again a place to the other side where we will be in our own time. In the house were we were raised take us back to our future place." The siblings recited.

Chris looked at Patience at how simple the spell was, Patience shrugged and said,

"What I'm not good spells."

Regardless of her talent with spells the portal opened and they stepped through. Before they knew it, they were back home in the future. Piper was coming out of the kitchen looking much older now, Patience smiled and hugged her mother. Piper was a little surprised and so were the boys. Patience herself didn't know why she was so happy to see her mother but she was. Piper looked to her sons and said,

"What happened to you guys?"

"We're going to the underworld in an hour." Wyatt said.

"We have to go kill some hybrids." Chris finished.

"Oh so you figured out how to vanquish them?" Piper asked.

"Yes." Patience answered.

"Well that's good because you know I don't think I can take any more demons dropping in on my dinner parties." Piper said.

The brothers sort of chuckled at that, Patience went into the conservatory and placed the black box she got from Xavier on the TV set. She stood and looked at it wondering what was in it, he kissed her differently; she noticed it, the way he explained his plan made her think something was different about him. She was afraid to find out what was wrong she felt like he was saying goodbye to her in some way. She shook off the feeling because it scared her to think like that. The siblings waited an hour just as scheduled then used the spell to turn their looks. Chris and Wyatt orbed Patience to the underworld with them and they wandered around. Chris had the potion and Wyatt had the spell, now they just had to get taken to Nero.

~XxX~

Nero was talking with his men, getting ready to create a new plan in order to kill the Charmed ones and their offspring.

"Thanks to Xavier my most trusted general, Chris Halliwell is dead. Unfortunately he was unable to retrieve Zion for me but that's alright. We have another chance at killing the Charmed ones now that they're not as powerful as they used to be." Nero said.

"What of the older brother, Wyatt?" Xavier said.

"He is quite powerful perhaps we should save the older one for last. We'll set up a decoy for him." Nero said.

"What kind of decoy my lord?" Xavier said.

"He is a good witch is he not, no good witch can resist saving an innocent. Once he's been led into the trap we'll keep him occupied with our hybrids while we go after his family."

"Need I remind you that this particular Halliwell is white lighter." Xavier said.

"So what do you suggest?" said another Hybrid that worked along side Nero.

"I'm merely challenging our leaders imagination. These are no ordinary witches and they will be looking for blood after the death of a sibling and child. If you use the same old tricks on them they will easily figure it out. I would offer to use my influence over my wife however that bridge has already been burned. She would hear nothing from me now." Xavier explained.

Nero sat down quietly contemplating his second's comments. Perhaps he was right, they would have to come up with a creative way to kill the siblings and avoid losing his army to Wyatt. Before he knew it three Hybrids were being escorted in by their guards.

"Who are you?" Nero said.

"I'm the wife." Patience said.

She blew up the two guards that brought them in and their disguises dropped. The blast was more powerful then she expected, she knew Zion had enhanced her powers but she was surprised by how much. Xavier grabbed Nero in a headlock and told Chris to throw the potion.

"You lied." Nero yelled.

"It's what demons do right Nero?" He said.

Chris threw the potion and Patience looked at him shocked,

"What are you doing? That affects him too."

"I'm sorry." Chris said.

"Say- the -spell!" Xavier said through agonizing pain.

Wyatt started the spell,

"Fire and brimstone demons of dark."

"Evil with in and hardened hearts." Chris said.

"Keep going!" Xavier shouted.

Nero threw a fireball at the siblings but Patience blew it up.

"With theses words we call the Halliwell name." Wyatt said.

"Come to us in this plane." Chris said.

"Prudence, Penelope, Patricia, Melinda." Wyatt said.

"Astrid, Helena, Laura and Grace." Chris said.

It was Patience's turn to say the next line of the spell, to use the power of three. She was staring at her husband, tears running down her face slowly. Xavier could see her through the pain,

"Hurry up!" Xavier screamed.

Chris said,

"You have to say it Patience, this is our only chance!"

Xavier threw a fire ball at her and Wyatt deflected it but Patience forced herself to say,

"Halliwell witches stand strong beside us."

"Vanquish this evil from time and space." They said together.

The hybrids were blasted through out the underworld and as that happened Wyatt and Chris grabbed Patience and orbed out to avoid the blast. When the blast was over, there were no more Hybrids left in the Underworld. The siblings landed in the manor and Patience dropped to the floor, it hit her like a ton of bricks, Xavier was and Chris first said the spell to remove Zion from Patience and back into Chris. They then knelt down to hug her but she pushed them away. She didn't want anyone touching her, Piper walked in from the conservatory and saw Patience, she looked at her boys but didn't say a word. She motioned to Chris to get her upstairs but because she wouldn't let anyone touch her he said,

"Patience's room."

Patience was orbed up to her bedroom and onto her bed, all she could really do was cry. Night had fallen soon after and everyone went to sleep. It was strange to think that Xavier wasn't going to shimmer in at some time in the night looking for Patience. It was strange to think that she wasn't going to bring him to events anymore or ask him to hunt demons with her. Chris had tried to prepare himself for the moment his sister would break down but he couldn't prepare for her reaction. She just wanted nothing to do with anybody, her husband was dead. Even Piper had become more sensitive to the situation, it was no secret that she didn't like Xavier because he was a demon and a risk to the family. She knew it hurt to know that your mate was dead, she'd lost Leo so many times she knew that pain well. Chris and Wyatt were hanging out at the bottom of the stairs the next morning, after having returned Zion to the Elders; Chris had tried to ask Patience if she wanted something to eat but he chickened out. He didn't know how to talk to her at the moment.

"Have you seen her yet?" Piper asked.

"No, I think she just wants to be alone." Chris said.

"Well she's going to be alone for a while. Maybe you two should go up there, I'll go with you." Piper said.

Piper led her two sons up the stairs to go and see their sister. They opened the door and Patience was still crying, her heart was completely broken and there was nothing to fix it. She was in deep pain; the scene reminded Piper of when Phoebe lost Cole. Piper wrapped her arms around her daughter, the brothers went around the other side of her and hugged her. They could hear her sniffle and they could hear her calm down. Chris wondered if it might be an appropriate time to tell her she was pregnant. On one side she would probably freak out because she was now having a child and her husband was gone but on the other hand one door has closed and the other has opened. Chris kept his mouth shut though, as far as he was concerned if she freaked out it would be a terrible thing. They just sat there with their sister quietly letting her deal with her pain alone...

A week had passed before Patience was able to get out of the bedroom for something other than food and to take a shower. She also started to notice that she was throwing up more in the morning and feeling nauseous. She was having cravings for ice cream one minute and pickles the next. She set up an appointment with her doctor to find out what was going on, she'd already seen him and was just waiting for the results of her tests. She made her way downstairs and saw her mom in the dinning room,

"Hey how are you this morning?" Piper said.

Patience sighed,

"Uh, good- I think. Hey did uh doctor Randolph call today?" she asked.

"Um no, not that I know of. Did you check your cell phone?"

"No, I'm about to though." She sighed as she headed into the conservatory.

She checked her voicemail where she had two messages waiting for her. One was from work while the other one was from doctor Randolph. As Patience listened to her voicemail she grabbed the black box that Xavier had given her before he died. She heard,

"Hello Mrs. Halliwell, this is doctor Randolph. I've been trying to get a hold of you but your test have come back in. Congratulations, Mrs. Halliwell... You're pregnant."

As that last part was spoken she had opened up the box to see a little bracelet with a baby in a cradle as the charm. She gasped and started to cry; she hung up the phone in shock and stumbled back a little. Until some arms wrapped around her, her heart nearly stopped as she felt them touch her. They let her go and turned her around and she let out a little shriek. She jumped up in his arms and Xavier twirled her around. He let her down and she said,

"Is this real? Am I dreaming? I saw you die."

"Yes you did, but this is not a dream."

"Then how?"

"The Elders, they held me in limbo after I died. They said that they would like to reward me for sacrificing my life in order to help you and your brothers kill the source. So they gave me a human life, I still have all my powers as a mercury demon not as a hybrid. If I use my powers in an evil way the deal ends and I die." Xavier explained.

"Wait I don't understand I thought they couldn't give demons souls."

"They can't be technically I was half demon so I had a soul from my human half. They just kept it from moving on until they could make a decision on what they wanted to do with me."

Piper had walked in asking Patience what was wrong with her until she stopped and saw Xavier,

"Wait, what, how?" Piper said confused.

"Do I really have to explain this again?" Xavier said.

Patience laughed,

"No, mom do you remember that deal Drake made to become human for a year?"

"Yeah?" Piper said.

"Well the Elders made sort of the same deal with Xavier the only difference is that if he uses his powers for evil he dies."

"Oh." she said.

She didn't exactly understand at first but she decided to leave the room to give them some privacy. Patience kissed him, and hugged him tightly she was so happy to have him back.

"You knew I was pregnant?" she asked.

"Yeah, a Seer from the underworld told me that. She also told me I'd either become the new source with you as my Queen or I'd die. So I chose to die rather than take you from your family." Xavier explained.

"That hurt you know, it really did."

"I know and I'm sorry but I promise to never do it again without telling you first."

She laughed at him,

"Good because I'm not going to do this parenting thing alone okay."

"Yes ma'am."

Patience twitched her nose showing her playful side. Her brothers had come down to see them together, they were happy to see her calm and smiling for once. It had been a weak since they'd seen her smile so brightly...

~XxX~

Epilogue.

Patience and Piper finally started to get along, Piper was able to accept Xavier into the family and live with the fact that Xavier still had his demonic powers but was using them for good. Patience repeatedly used the example of how Drake was in their lives and how he also taught at magic school.

Xavier continued his job as a D.A but stops by Magic school every now and again to help students test their powers on demons.

Chris, Wyatt and Xavier have found something in common other then Patience... Soccer.

Patience gave birth to beautiful twins a boy and a girl. The boy was named Parker Christopher Halliwell in honor of her brother and the girl was named Penelope Helena Halliwell in honor of grams and her ancestor.

So I tried to make the ending as long and as fulfilling as possible. I didn't really know if I was going to make another Chapter even though I'd like to make the number of chapters even. What I may do is make an eighth chapter where it's like a mini problem with Chris and the new babies, like he's baby sitting and a demon attacks.I don't know I haven't decided but I like it when there are even numbers of chapters so I'd look for that if you'd like to see more. Thanks for reading :D Leave a review on how you liked the ending and if you'd like to see a mini chapter. I may make and eighth chapter based on whether or no ppl say it can end like this or I should do one more.
