Prompt: First time

The air in his college dorm room was cool, making goose-bumps rise on his exposed skin. At this moment he was glad that his roommate had never shown up and the school hadn't gotten around to giving him a different one yet. He could have put both beds together and had a big bed instead of just the simple twin sized but then he wouldn't be this close to Jack.

Jamie lay on stomach, his head propped up by one hand. He stared at Jack's sleeping form, a small smile playing on his lips. If someone who could see Jack would have told him that eight years later he would be in bed with the winter spirit, he wouldn't have believed them. If someone had told him five years ago he probably would have laughed it off but the idea would have been planted. A year ago he had figured out that he loved Jack, had always loved him but it wasn't until tonight that he had figured out that Jack loved him back.

It had started with a kiss…

Jamie brought his free hand to his lips; he swore they were still tingling with the cold from Jack's kiss. His body ached but it was an ache he was glad of and would gladly experience over and over again. Jack sighed in his sleep, his white lashes fluttering against his cheek. Jamie watched him, if Jack hadn't continued to visit him over the years he would have never learned that the guardians slept.

Jamie reached his free hand out and trailed his fingers lightly over Jack's hair. The white strands were cool to the touch, but then everything about Jack was cool, they were also very soft. Jamie's fingers left Jack's hair and brushed against his cheek. He smiled again when Jack whispered his name. Reaching down he grabbed the comforter and brought it up over them. Resting an arm over Jack's stomach Jamie snuggled closer.

It had started with a kiss and this was just the first time, Jamie was sure there would be many more.
